Arnav and Khushi were smiling... but alone. Khushi was sitting on the bed whereas Arnav was standing in front of the mirror. Arnav didn't expect that Khushi will take a bold step towards the next level. And Khushi didn't expect Arnav will reciprocate it. Khushi closed her face blushing. Arnav folded his hands looking at his own image in the mirror, smirking. It seems, they were still in the moment.

But, their smile vanished by a thought.

Arnav's POV:

It's obvious to lose control as he is her husband. What if she feels awkward about her act? Won't she embarrass if he takes advantage of the situation? Is he going to make her embarrassed? (He took a long breath.) Make her feel free, Arnav... give her time to relax.

Khushi"s POV:

Anyone loses control when his wife kisses him. Maybe, he lost his control because of my act. Doesn't mean he is fine to take our relationship to the next level. Though he reciprocated her it's unexpected. But definitely it gave her hope. Doesn't mean she would torture him... of course, she has the right to torture him. But not right away. Let him take a breath... then she could torture him as much as she wants... (she chuckled)

They were so similar in another thought too. They don't want another one to be "SORRY" for the kiss.

Arnav came out of the washroom. Neither Arnav nor Khushi spared the glance. They were ready to go.

Arnav & Khushi: Shall we go?

They got stuck. They smiled looking at each other and nodded YES simultaneously.

Locking the door, they came out of the TAJ as the cab was waiting for them. They extended their hand to press the lift button, at the same time. Both of them pulled back their hands. Again they extended their hand and stopped, looking at each other. The lift door got opened and a couple got out of it. They entered in and stood couldn't hold their smile.

They got inside the cab and traveled towards the destination. They time to time spared the glance and smiled. When they got down off the cab, they remembered what Khushi said in the morning.

"I will never leave your hand until we reach the room."

Arnav extended his hand towards Khushi and at the same time, she extended her hand to clutch Arnav's hand.

They looked at each other with smiling eyes and entwined their fingers together. They walked around the Marine drive hands-on hands. Arnav looked at her teasingly and clutched her hand tightly when he saw a CHANNA seller. Khushi laughed at him. Of course, they felt light with each other. They saw the SUN is drowning into the sea.

Arnav & Khushi: Sun is setting...

They nodded YES and sat, looking at the Sun. Khushi forgot herself in the beauty of the evening rays. In that, she didn't sense that Arnav was not there. She turned her face, smilingly and got horrified not seeing him. She stood and looked here and there. She turned around and saw him standing with Channas. She rolled her eyes, pouting. Arnav extended the channa pocket raising his eyes brows. She took it from him making face and again Sat. She started nibbling channas. She recalled their morning conversation about the sun. Why not she shares Arnav about Lavanya? It may get him out of La's thought completely if he got to know she never loved him. And it will make him think about her and their relationship.

She thought for a while and looked at Arnav who was already gazing at her. He rotated like relaxing.

Khushi: I... I want to say you something.

Arnav shrunk his eyes.

Khushi (bowing down): I'm... sorry...

Arnav tightened his jaws. This is what he feared off.... He doesn't want her to be sorry for the KISS... but she is... He was disappointed. So...it won't be that easy to get close to her like what he thought. His mind rotated fast in haste...

Khushi: I'm really sorry I should not have done like that...

Arnav closed his eyes and scratched his forehead.

Khushi: I didn't do it intentionally... but I just wanted it.

He raised his head and looked at her getting amazed.

"She wanted it?"

Khushi: I have no other choice Arnavji... I just want to know about everything.

He frowned... has she wanted to know about the KISS?

Khushi: What's wrong if I'm curious? I ought to know everything.... Right?

Arnav: Hannnnn....

Is she this bold?

Khushi: I hope you won't take me wrong.

Arnav: No... not at all...

Khushi(smiling brightly): Thank you Arnavji... Actually, I came to Mumbai for this only.

Arnav: Whaaaat....!

Khushi: Yeah... I just came to know about Lavanya....

Arnav(frowning): Lavanya....?

She nodded yes.

Arnav: Were you talking about Lavanya?

Khushi: Haan....

Arnav rolled his eyes. He chuckled, looking at her.

Khushi: I'm sorry I didn't tell you about it before.

Arnav faced a tough time to control his laugh. He turned the opposite side to her, thinking about how idiot he was.

Khushi (confusingly): Arnavji... are you angry with me?

Arnav nodded NO biting his lip.

Arnav(composing himself): Tell me what you wanted to.

Khushi (bowing down): Actually... Lavanya didn't die in an accident. She committed suicide.

Arnav was stunned. How did she know?

Khushi: The Panditji of the temple had seen her falling in front of the truck knowingly.

Her eyes teemed.

Khushi: Do you know why?

Arnav was gazing at her not interfering.

Khushi: She was in love with someone.

This is the news...

Arnav: How do you know?

Khushi: Sheetal told me.

So, she came to meet Sheetal in the pretext of her marriage.

Arnav: Hmm... she told you everything?

Khushi (nodding NO): Sheetal told me only half of the story.

Arnav: Second half....?

Khushi(hesitatingly): Simran.

Arnav: Simran? Who is she? I didn't see you talking to anyone in the marriage?

Khushi: I met her here only... yesterday...

Arnav(shockingly): Here...? Yesterday...?

Khushi: I didn't go to buy channa...

She lifted her eyelash hesitatingly. Arnav folded his hands smiling at her.

Khushi: Actually, I want to know what happened in LA's life. I forgot everything when I saw Simran in the car...

Arnav: So you started running behind her?

Khushi nodded yes slowly, making face.

Arnav: Ok tell me her story.

Khushi told him what she heard about La except the SUBMITTING HERSELF sequence.

Khushi: I can't believe she could do that Arnavji. How could she cheat on me? Do you know how close we were? I hadn't hid anything from her but she hid the biggest truth of her life. I can't understand what she thought of me. Is understanding, loyalty, love everything just words? Don't they have values? How could she disappoint me like that?

She cried. Arnav touched her shoulder blinking his eyes.

Khushi: Do you know how many times I asked her, seeing her gloomy? She didn't even open her mouth when our dad asked her acceptance. How cunning she was?

She sobbed, closing her face.

Arnav: Khushi relax... there is no use of crying about what we can't change. Lavanya is dead. You can get nothing getting upset on her.

Khushi looked at him with teary eyes. Arnav wiped her cheek gently.

Arnav: Lavanya's chapter is over. Please don't say anything to uncle and aunty. They will break down. Just forget it.

He tried to cup her face. Shrugging his hands off, she shouted crying.

Khushi: Of course, she is dead... but I'm still alive... what about me and my feelings?

Arnav cupped her face forcefully and pulled close to him.

Arnav: You are alive just for ME... I'm here for you and your feelings damn it...

He shouted, gritting his teeth. Khushi stunned at his outburst. Arnav left her face sensing that they were in public. He stood facing the sea, taking fresh air to cool his heated up mind. Khushi took a few seconds to make up herself. His yell echoed in her mind.

"You are alive just for me"

She smiled unbelievably, looking at his back...

Forgotten Task

Arnav and Khushi got backto the room without any conversation, after Arnav's outburst. They didn't talkdoesn't mean nothing was running in their mind. Khushi badly wanted to meet herparents. She wanted to lie down on her mother's lap and say everything aboutLavanya whereas Arnav wanted to say the biggest truth of his life to Khushithat she is the one who he loved at first sight and about Lavanya's pregnancy.
