Ep 11: Regaining trust

I was sitting next to a hospital bed holding Elizabeth's motionless hand, she had been in a coma for two weeks, and I have been beating myself up for it.

I believed it was my fault for Elizabeth getting hurt, if I saw that feather coming, I could of push her out of the way, and she would still be able to do something, and not be here. I squeeze her hand once, wishing that she would open her eyes, and tell him everything was okay, but I knew it might take a little longer.

I suddenly realized that it was possible...that I might have feelings for Elizabeth... I was just in panic of seeing her in a hospital bed.

I felt a soft hand land on my shoulder and when I turn to see who it was, I saw Crystal giving me a small smile. "How she doing?" she asked.

As she sat down next to him. I put my face into my hands. "It's all my fault." I whispered.

"James is not your fault, no one shall it coming, but we do know something we are getting stronger, Elizabeth and Zen almost activated their soul charge. Skidemon said it was the next track of getting our digimon to reach the ultimate level." She informed me.

I nodded knowing this was true. I notice out of the corner of my eye, the door creaking open and a blue dragon digimon with pink flowers in her hands entered the room.

I of course knew it was Crystal's digimon Glaciamon. Glaciamon put the flowers on a bed stand and sat on her tamer's lap. "She seems so peaceful" Glaciamon whispered finally after some awkward silence.

No one said anything else until Crystal finally notice something.

"Where is Phemon and Miragemon?" she asked looking around the room.

Glaciamon grinned. "I think I know" she giggled and hop out of her tamer's lap and cross the room to a closet door.

"What's behind door number one?" she asked loudly and quickly through the door open to show the bird and rat digimon cuddling with one another.

The dragon digimon coughed and the cuddling digimon finally notice they were caught, they both seem to jump away from each other like they were zap with bolts of electricity. "I was just smelling her" Phemon muttered looking away from the rat digimon blushing.

Miragemon nodded. "Yeah and I saw something on his beak, so I offer to clean it for him" she said quickly blushing as well.

"Sure and the only way you could do this, was cuddling with one another, and if you think anyone is buying you hating each other anymore, you both are sadly mistaken, everyone knows" The dragon digimon snickered.

The rat seem baffled but almost said something back but decided just to take Phemon's wing in her paw.

Just then a knock was heard at the door, and this cause Crystal to push all the digimon into the closet slamming the door behind them.

"Come in" she said like nothing happen

Zen came in with the three new tamers who we found in the digital world. Riley, Jacob and Marie. "Hey Crystal ready to go?" He asked.

I look at both of them.

"Where you five going?" I asked.

Crystal grinned. "We offer to show them around town, were going to meet up with Cody at the mall later, want to come with?" she asked just now getting up from her seat. I shake my head, I wanted to stay with Elizabeth until she awoke.

Crystal gave me another small smile, a squeeze on the shoulder and left with the others. The room got quit until Phemon and Miragemon started to play around, by pushing each other. I could practically hear the ticking from the cloak, and then suddenly I felt a buzz, at first I thought it was my cell phone, but when I reached for my pocket I remembered my phone turn to my digivice. I looked at my watch and saw the map pop up and show five black dots at the park.

The bird and rat digimon stopped playing around and I turn to face both of them concern.

"James what is it?" the bird digimon finally asked flying over to me.

"I think it's a digimon attack, I wish the digivice could also have the feature in what they are, but it likes us to find out the tough way, let me try to call the others." I suggested

One by one James tried to call Cody, Crystal and Zen but it was all the same, they wouldn't pick up. I knew Elizabeth wound't be of help, and Miragemon wouldn't be able to digivolve without her, even with the digivoulation override, Elizabeth had to be functional and by that awake. I turn to Phemon.

"Looks like we have to go solo" I finally told Phemon, dreading that Phemon might digivovle into the evil vulture digimon again.

I considered in calling Skidemon or my mother, but I remembered what my mother said

"If you even think of calling me when i am at work again. I will hunt you down, now have a great day" she said all of this with a smile.

But who could blame my mother she had a tough job and she wasn't allowed to be on her phone. Miragemon kiss the bird digimon on the cheek.

"Be careful, bird brain" she whispered in the bird's ear.

Miragemon sat beside Elizabeth. I look down at her for a second more, and I touch her beautiful black hair, her pink strikes in her hair has started to fade. I brush my hand across her forehead. I wish I could see her beautiful brown eyes looking into mine, to hear her sweat voice like silk.

But sadly none of this happen, Elizabeth eyes were still closed and she sat there motionless. James Phemon left the room and just as the door closes Elizabeth's eyes shot open her eyes glowing a dark red.

Phemon and I were walking through the city. It was really crowded. Their is still no sign of a digimon but my digivice did say their was a digimon in the area.

Phemon was sitting on my shoulder looking around the area. "James I'm bored." He mumbled. "Maybe with it being so calm, the digimon is not really that big of a deal."

I shake my head. "Who knows Phemon. That thing could possibly digivovle if we don't take action right away."

Phemon sighed. "Your right..."He mumbled.

Just then a girl walked past us. She look about to be sixteen years old. She had black shiny shoulder length hair with a braid that goes across her hair. She had forest green eyes, oval shaped glassed pushed to the edge of her noise and she was wearing a blue looking school uniform. With a red ribbon tied around her neck.

In the girl's arm was something that look like a stuff animal. It had white fur, light blue eyes. And tiny yellow wings on its back.

Phemon eyebrow raised. "You know that thing almost looks like a digimon I have seen before." He mumbled

James walked over to the girl. "Hey excuse me can I ask you a question?"

The girl raised an eyebrow. "What?" She asked.

I pointed at the stuff animal in her arms. "Is that a digimon? "

The girl's eyes grew wide. "Huh?..." She seem flabbergasted.

The creature in her arms smiled and look up at her. "You see Cassie I told you that their was a digimon nearby."

The girl who happen to be Cassie sighed and nodded. "Yes this is my digimon Cupimon" She gestured for the holy digimon.

The small digimon waved at Phemon and I. "It's nice to meet you."

I nodded at the creature. "Same here. Hi my name is James, and this is my digimon partner Phemon."

Phemon waved at the two of them.

Cassie smiled. "Wow when I traveled here from Japan I never expected to run into another digidestined so quickly. " She laughed.

I raised an eyebrow. "Their's more digidestineds in Japan?" I asked.

Cassie nodded. "Well all over the world actually." She informed me.

My eyes grew wide. "That is a lot of other tamers."

Caisse nodded. "I am part of group. My friend Skylar was busy this summer, so she allowed me to get her ticket to come to Florida. So far I have already went to Disney world!" She said happily.

I smiled. "Disney is such a fun place."

Cassie nodded. "So where is your group of friends. Are you part of a group as well?" She asked.

I sighed and explained everything to her. She listen to everything I talked about with my adventure. I practically started from how I came into the digital world, to the point of forcing Blazemon to digivolve...

When I was finshed Cassie sighed. "You see James... people make mistakes. But it's better to learn from them." She smiled as she rubbed Cupimon on top of her head. "Yes you made a huge mistake, one of my friends named Tai made a similar mistake but he learned from it. Maybe you will do the same." She grinned.

I rubbed my arm. "Yeah...but I'm a little scared now." I whispered.

Phemon look at me with cocern. "James?..."

Cassie raised an eyebrow. "Why are you scared?" She asked.

I gritted my teeth. "I'm scared that if I try to digivolve Blazemon in the future that he will become Velgemon again."

Cassie put a hand on my shoulder. "A wise digimon once told my friends that their is no incorrect path for digivoulation."

I sighed. "I guess your right...but I can't believe that one cloak girl trying to condemn me with losing Phemon..." I muttered.

Cassie shakes her head. "Hey you do realize she has the same digivice as you right?" She asked.

I nodded. "So?"

"She will possibly in the future decide to join your team. Because possibly her digimon is a legend too. It's better to forgive then to hate. I should now because I'm the bearer of forgiveness." She informed me with a smile.

"Bearer of forgiveness?" I asked.

Cassie nodded. "You see my friends and I went to the Digital world when we were younger. We each were given a crest that corresponded with our good trait. With that crest we were given the tittle of bearer of that crest." She explained.

Cassie and I were now walking down the busy streets together. Still talking to one another.

"I guess I will eventually forgive them." I mummbled.

"That's the spirit."She cheered.

We continue walking until we stop at a bridge. "The view from here is really nice." She whispered. Under the bridge was the lake. We both stared down at the blue water.

"It is." I whispered.

Cassie was about reply to me but stops when a loud splash was heard. A reptilian looking creature jumped out of the water.

Cassie screamed at the sight of the slimy creature.

Cupimon flew from her tamer's arms to fight the water like digimon.

" Angel ring!" A small ring of light formed around the holy creature head and it threw it with its tiny arm at the aquatic digimon.

The slimy creature was launched back into the water.

"Let's get out of here!" Cassie suggested.

"That sounds like a good idea." I said.

Cupimon flew back into Cassie ' s arms and the two of us started to run.

"Shouldn't we be fighting that thing?" Phemon asked. "It could wreck havoc on the town"

I shrugged. "It's small, how much damage can he cause." I muttered.

"Oh he can cause some pretty decent damage idiot."

Caisse and I come to a halt when we saw a Pegasus like digimon in front of us.

"Another digimon." Phemon growled.

The Pegasus digimon snickered and cried out. "Overgrowth" Vines shot out from the side of her body and went straight into the ground. Suddenly the vines erupted from the Earth and lashed out at us.

"This is bad!" Cassie cries out.

I nodded and held out my wrist. "The best thing we can do is take them on." I suggested.

Cassie nods and pulls out a rectangular digivice from her pocket.

"Digivice!" I shouted. A beep was heard from my digivice. The five elements zoomed out of my digivice and I touched the element of fire.

"Fire charge!" I called out. My hand was covered in fire.

I slammed my hand over my digivice. Then fire shot out of my digivice hitting my digimon partner Phemon.

"Phemon fire charge digivovle too...Blazemon!" He chirped loudly.

Cassie holds out her digivice. "Go Cupimon!" She shouts.

Cupimon nods. "Aye!"

Cupimon is surronded in a white space. Blue tiles appear above the small creature and starts surrounding her. "Cupimon digivolve too..." The blue tiles incase the small creature. The orb turns yellow and flies up into the air. A bright light covers the sphere and a foot breaks apart the sphere. A figure made of 0 and 1"s appeared. A golden ring of data went around the figure until a Swan like digimon covered in amour appeared. "Swanmon!" She called our. Ok

"Flaming devastation!" Blazemon was in cased in fire. The Phoenix digimon flew towards the Pegasus digimon.

Ariomon side step out of the way but in the path of Swanmon.

"Down tornado!" Swanmon started to flap her wings foward as feathers flew at the Pegasus digimon.

Ariomon was hit by the attack and skidded backward.

From the bushes the reptile digimon from ealier appeared.

"Muck blast!" Muddy water fired from his mouth.

"Don't give up!" Cassie shouted.

Swanmon nodded and flew towards the reptile digimon.

"White wing flapping!" Swanmon wings glew white and she started to slash with them at the reptile digimon.

Ariomon snarled and flew behind the Swan digimon. "Hooves of fury!" She screamed.

The Pegasus digimon started to attack the swan digimon on the back with her hooves.

Swanmon screamed out in pain from the attack.

"Cry of a phoenix!" Blazemon called out. A shot of energy was fired at Ariomon sending the Pegasus digimon slamming up against a tree.

The two bird digimon landed on the ground.

"Stand down." Swanmon said to the two of them.

"Or we will finsh you right here." Blazemon growled.

"Hey James."

I turned around to see standing on the bridge behind us was my brother and his friend Amanda. The two of them look completely fine.

My eyes grew wide at the sight of my brother. At first I was looking at the worst. I thought Azulongmon would kill both of them.

"Jeffrey..." I held out my arms for a hug.

But Jeffrey slowly walked over to me. And when he stood right in front of me he gritted his teeth and he punch me across my face.

I fell backwards onto the ground hard.

Cassie gasp in surprise. "What's going on l?" She asked in a confused manner.

Amanda walked over to her laughing her little rich girl laugh. "Oh you got involved in something that you shouldn't have deary. If you hand over your digivice now. We will allow you and your digimon to go free. If not we will kill her."

Cassie shake her. "Never!" She yelled.

Amanda snickeres. "Fine your choice."

"Jeffrey why are you doing this?" I asked

Jeffrey growled. "Because Azulongmon told us the truth! You aren't trying to save the digital world! Your trying to destroy it!" He screamed angrily.

My eyes grew wide. That wasn't true, Azulongmon must have brainwashed them both.

Amanda and Jeffrey held up their wrist to show digivices.

My eyes grew wide. It couldn't be possible they were digidestined. And if they have those digivices, that means their digimon are legends!

"Digivice!" They shouted in unison. Two elements appeared above their digivice. Amanda clicked the element of water, while my brother touch the element of life.

Their hands were encased in their respectful element.

"Water charge!" Amanda called out.

"Life charge!" Jeffrey screamed.

The two of them slammed their hand over their digivice. Then the two of them pointed their digivices at the two fallen digimon. The elements struck them and cause digivoulation to start.

"Huitzomon water charge digivovle too... Apallamon!" He screeched.

"Ariomon life charge digivovle too... Pegamon!" She whinnied

The two new champion digimon faced off with Cassie ' s and my digimon.

"They could digivolve as well?" Blazemon asked in confusion.

I shake my head. I couldn't believe I was going to have to fight my broher. But if this was the only way to snap him out of this. I guess I have no other choice.

"Go Blazemon!"

Blazemon flew towards the Pegasus digimon.

"Flaming devastation!"

Blazemon was encased in fire once more.

"Poison grasp!" Pegamon called out. The lilies on her body open up and fired out purple lights of rope. The lights wrapped around the phoenix digimon and threw him into the woods.

"Blazemon!" I screamed.

I ran into the woods after my fallen digimon.

Jeffrey follows after me.

I turned around on my heels and punch my brother on the nose. "Leave Blazemon alone!" I yelled.

My brother nose started to have blood trickling out of it. He wipe some blood away. Then he snarled. "Never you lied to me, and I won't stop until he's dead!"

Jeffrey tackled me to the ground and we started to trade punches with one another.

Pegamon flew towards Blazemon with narrowed eyes. "The legends rule is over! Long live the sovereigns!" She cried. "Flower reduction!"her lilies open up again but yellow light shot out of them.

"I will never back down to the likes of you!" Blazemon screeched. "Flaming devastation!"

(Cassie ' s P.O.V.)

I stared at the rich girl in front of me. She had her arms crossed over her chest. "So why did you decided to help those fools?" She asked

I growled. "James is not a fool. I trust him. I can tell he is telling the truth." I bawled my fist.

I could see that Swanmon was still attacking the rich girl's digimon still.

"Dew of the north!" Tiny water droplets were fired at Swanmon but she avoided the attack quickly.

Swanmon flew in front of the dragon seahorse digimon and shouted. "White wing flapping!"

I turn my attention back to the rich girl who look almost furious with me. I didn't care, I was glad that I was pissing her off. It gave me the upper hand.

"You don't know what your talking about you idiot!" She screamed.

"Wow" I whispered as I hold my hand over my heart. "For a second there you almost hurt my feelings." I rolled my eyes.

Amanda barred her teeth. "You don't know that your fighting against the sovereigns."

I bawled my fist. "I used to trust the sovereigns because they helped my friends out before. But from listening to James about what they have done. I could tell their trying to take over the digital world. You are in the wrong, you rich brat!"

A beep was heard from Amanda's watch. Then a voice was heard.

"Amanda do what I taught you and Jeffrey. Activate the soul charge!"

I felt confused. I knew that they had the ability to use the elemental charge. But what's the soul charge?

Amanda smirked and held up her digivice. "Digivice!" Her digivice beep twice and a stop sign appeared on the screen.

My eyes grew wide. Was she going to digivolve her digimon?

"Soul charge! Let it go!" Her body erupted in purple data and she started to scream loudly. Amanda slammed her hand over her digivice and the data sink into her watch.

"Soul charge reached. Digivoulation activated." The mechanical women's voice spoke loudly. Soon purple data and music fired from Amanda's digivice.

Apallamon soul charge digivovle to..." The dragon's top of his body started to peel away revealing a human teen, he had long brown hair that past his powerful shoulder, he had a beard on his chin and under his noes he had a mustache. He had powerful muscle that made him look like an athletic person. He raised his right arm and a triton appeared, his sea horse tail was still left behind, and suddenly he yelled. "Tritonmon" He slowly lowered his triton to the ground causing a small earthquake to form.

I gritted my teeth. "An ultimate level digimon."

Swanmon flew into the air. "Cassie I think it would be best, if I digivovle as well." She called down to me.

(Cassie ' s digivice appeared in front of a black space. Her digivice turns pure silver with pink buttons. Digivoulation runs across the screen)

The crest of forgiveness falls from the air and falls towards Swanmon. "Swanmon ultra digivovle too..." The crest of forgiveness passes through the swam until a new digital figure appeared. The figure was really small. It look fairy like. Small rings started to change the data into pink and white fur. "Luminamon!" A golden ring appeared behind the fairy digimon.

Luminamon flew towards Tritonmon with a determined expression on her face. "Lightning feel!" Lightning shot out of the fairy digimon hands.

Tritonmon was hit by the attack. He snarled and threw his triton at the fairy digimon.

Luminamon was hit by the triton. She was sent tumbling backwards.

I bawled my fist. "You got this Luminamon!"

(James' P.O.V.)

I punch my brother straight in the chin causing him to be knocked off of me.

"Why are you fighting your own family!?" I growled at him wiping some blood off of my face.

Jeffrey barred his teeth as his body started to become yellow data. "I don't need to answer to you." He snarled.

My eyes grew wide at the sight of this. It happen before with Elizabeth and Zen. It was supposably called the soul charge which activates ultimate digivoulation.

My brother was now completely yellow data. He started to scream loudly in pain. "Digivice!" He yelled. "Soul charge! Not afraid!"

Yellow data and music fired from his digivice and hit Pegamon.

Pegamon soul charge Digivolve too..." she giggled. She flew down to the ground and started to change her shape, and finally stopped when a women's silhouette appeared in the light of the yellow data, a dress started to form around her, it's was made from vines and flowers of all kinds, small Pegasus wings grew out of her back. Finally a crown made from vines and thorns grew around her head. Hazel hair rush past her simple shoulders, and with a soft giggle the light disappeared and this beautiful women shouted. "Gaeamon" she laughed this last part out like her own name was a joke.

Blazemon flew backwards at the sight of the ultimate level digimon.

"James I think we have a problem!" He called out to me.

I barred my teeth. I didn't know my brother could already activate the ultimate digivoulation.

Gaeamon smirked and spread her wings on her back. She flew towards Blazemon and put her hands together as a daisy formed around it. "Flower charge!" She screamed. A green beam of energy shot out of her flower hitting Blazemon in the chest.

Blazemon flew backwards in pain. He barred his Beek and screech. "Cry of a phoenix!" The blast of screeching ernrgy shot towards the flying flower girl.

Gaeamon dodges the attack with a smirk. "That's the best you go tough guy?" She asked.

Blazemon started to yell out in anger. Fire already starting to cover his body. The fire that surronded his body seem to be growing at an alarming rate. "Flaming devastation!"

Blazemon slams into Gaeamon. Sending her flying back towards the other fight.

Jeffrey bawled his fists and ran after his digimon. "Gaeamon!" He called out.

I ran into other battle to see two other ultimate level digimon. One that look like a merman and the other a small fairy digimon.

Cassie had her fist bawled. "Go get him Luminamon!"

The fairy digimon nodded and fired small bolts of lightning at Tritonmon.

Tritonmon deflected the attack with a shield made of water.

I ran over to her and smiled.

"Want to switch.?" I asked.

Cassie eyes widen at my plan. "That's a good idea."

The two of us look towards are digimon. That are flying in front of us.

"Go get them!"

"Flaming devastation!" Fire covered Blazemon body and he started to fly towards Gaeamon.

Luminamon giggled and called out. "Lumina flash! Luminamon created a ring of gold data in her paws and threw it at Tritonmon.

Tritonmon raised his shield towards the ring of data.

And Gaeamon held up her flower cannon at Blazemon.

"Now!" Cassie and I shouted in unison .

Blazemon changed his direction towards Tritonmon. While Luminamon ring of golden data flew towards Gaeamon.

The two attacks were successful.

Gaeamon and Tritonmon were thrown backwards. The two of them glowed purple and yellow. Soon they were replaced with Huitzomon and Ariomon.

Jeffrey bawled his fist. "We're not done fighting yet!" He screamed.

Amanda nodded. "We're going to finsh you both right here-" She was cut off when someone jumped in front of her.

The someone was a teen boy. He look to be about fifteen. Next to him was a spider digimon.

" That's enough. We are finshed testing the power of your guys ability with ultimate digivoulation." He shouted at the two of them.

The boy had short spiky blonde hair, and silver eyes. He wore a black jacket with spike wrist bracelets, black jeans and black sneakers.

The boy turned to Cassie and I. "It's nice to meet you James. Your brother has told me a lot about you." He chuckled.

I barred my teeth. "Leave my brother alone!" I screamed.

He shake his head. "I'm sorry I can't do that. I'm their new trainer." He laughed. "Let's go guys"

a portal open up behind the three.

Amanda and Jeffrey nodded as they picked up their unconscious digimon. "Okay Dylan"

Dylan gave us a two finger salute as he jump in the portal with his spider digimon. Amanda was the next one to follow after him.

Jeffrey was about to jump in but I yelled.

"Stop! Please don't go! Your making a mistake!"

Jeffrey shake his head and jumped into the portal.

The portal closed.

After the battle was over. Phemon sat on my shoulder while Cassie held Cupimon close to her.

"Well that was unexpected." Cassie mumbled..

I nodded to agree with her. "Thanks for your help."

Cassie smiled. "Your welcome. Just call me anytime if you need it."

Just then I heard a beep from my digivice. I saw Crystal's face appear. "James we need your help Elizabeth is acting strange and she is attacking us" she yelled.

"I'm on my way!" I ran off with Phemon on my shoulder.

(Cassie P.o.v.)

I watched as the boy ran away.

"So what do you think?" Cupimon asked.

I smiled. "He has potential to be a very great leader."

I started to turn younger. Looking down at the pond. I appeared to be ten years old again. I was the same age I was when I first went to the Digital world.

A small yellow portal appeared in front of me and I jump through.

When I jumped through my friends were waiting there for me with their digimon.

Mimi turn to me. "Welcome back Cassie."

A girl with red hair raised an eyebrow. "So how did James do?" She asked.

"He did well. He will definitely lead his team well. We will do the right thing about giving them the power of our crest."

The girl nodded.

Sora turned to the girl. "Your next Skylar."

Skylar smiled. "I was planning to be next." She giggled.

End of episode 11

Glaciamon - Wow looks like James and Phemon had a run with another digidestined. And the two evil digidestined? Will we ever be able to bring Amanda and Jeffrey on the good side? And what happen with the old digidestined? What are they planning.
