Midday showdown and a new friend

My friends and I were walking through the desert. It had been a day from the events of the collesium. And sense then we have been attacked by a Birdramon.

Zen was able to prove himself the warrior of courage. So he know had his necklace as well. Which made me the only one without one.

The sun was beating down on my friends and I. A few Hawkmon flew overhead waiting for one of us to keel over and die.

"It is so hot." Wormon cried on Elizabeth's shoulder. The bug Digimon whip off a small drop of sweat on his forehead. "Where was that town that you guys were talking about yesterday?" he asked angrily looking over at me for answers.

I sighed for the fifth compliant of the day and looked down at my digivice, trying to figure out this stupid map. "Guys the digivice does say that were not that far off from the town and the eighth tamer so we should be prepared." I inform my friends.

Ever sense yesterday we got a signal from the eighth tamer's digivice. So we decided to track it down.

Phemon folded his winged arms. "No matter what that tamer throws at us we will be prepared, I mean come on we have two ultimate level Digimon on our side, while the eighth tamer only has one." He pointed out causing a few of us to smile.

Crystal sighed sadly. "I mean I do realize all of that Phemon but come on, we had some problems with that Birdramon yesterday."

Glaciamon nodded. "And besides, three of us have still have not reach ultimate level and until then we are still in a chance of getting killed off." The dragon Digimon said sadly looking down at her claws.

Cody blinked. "If that is true about the power of having these titles then are Digimon should be stronger than before." He said angrily

Stripemon turn around in Cody's arms so he could look up at him. "Cody that isn't even close to it at all. It seems like the first time you prove worthy to a crest. It only give your Digimon an energy boost once." He explained the best he could.

Zen looked down at his necklace. He rub the emblem that hang at the end of the string. "I was coming up with the same hypothesis. It all make sense with the first time with the boost of energy. It weird but it's all I got about these weird thing. But I still feel like these things have more power still inside of them, waiting for the right time to be unlock." He pointed out.

Reymon looked up at his tamer. "So you believe these things have something else, in store for all of us?" he asked tilting his head to the side in confusion.

Zen nodded. "It's just a thought. I might be wrong after all, but who knows." He whispered.

Elizabeth now looked down at her necklace. "I hope you guys don't think I am weird but I can almost feel that there is something inside of them. Like it wasn't me to activate it. It's like a heartbeat.

Miragemon nodded. "I can sense it as well, I mean I know I am not wearing the item but I still feel it's powers going through my veins. "It's kind of creepy but somewhat familiar at the same time, like I felt these powers once before." She said as she look at Elizabeth's necklace.

I sighed as we passed a sign that read. "Welcome to Lost Widow, the town is only a couple of steps away." I was thrilled that we were going to be able to get out of this stupid desert but at the same time.

I was starting to think it was a joke that I was chosen by the crest of love. I will never be able to prove myself. I thought.

I will never be able to get Phemon to reach the ultimate level, or even get to the mega level. It is going to be all my fault, and Phemon is never going to be king. How can I help him? When I can't even do something that seems easy to everyone else?

Phemon seem to notice my sadness, the Phoenix look at me with concern. "Ah James, buddy are you feeling okay?" he asked.

I was still deep in thought. I am not only going to fail my Digimon but all my friends as well. The Digimon sovereigns will take over the Digital world. Digimon who didn't meet Azulongmon standards would be killed off. Then the dragon knight wouldn't even stop there. He would go to Earth and kill of everyone I cared and love. It's all because I can't make the crest of love to activate its true powers. I thought.

I started to see black water surrounding me. Maybe I should just leave. I should just let the water take me, like it did before. My friends don't need me, they could win the fight without me.

My friends could start to me being surrounded by black mucky water. My body started to become data. I was slowly started to fade away.

Miragemon snarled. "I had enough of this kid!" she shouted slapping me across the face.

I shake my head and the water seem to fade away. I slowly rub the spot where the rat Digimon had slap me. "What happen?" I asked looking around at my friends. Who all seem to be relieved that I was still there standing in front of them.

Elizabeth look at me with sadness. "James you were almost pulled into the dark ocean again. You have to keep calm." She said as she rub his shoulder.

Crystal nodded. "Keeping calm is the best thing we can do. We are here for you James. Please don't leave us."

"Excuse me but I am sorry to ruin, your little friend talk here but I have been waiting for the five of you to arrive here, for about five days. So I am kind of annoyed about all of this." Said a voice behind us.

My friends and I turn around to see the cloak tamer standing behind us. Egaramon standing by their side.

The eagle Digimon had a look of determination, and a look that kind of said that she was ready to fight any of us, at any moment.

Cody bared his teeth at the unknown tamer. "Fancy seeing you here in the same desert, what you miss us fighting you so much, or do you want to look at your handy work, of turning us half Digimon? " He growled.

Stripemon shake his head. "Cody you were already were half human, half Digimon, the only thing they did was show your Digimon side that was dormant inside of you." He explained while rolling his green eyes.

"Anyways your still unwanted, so why in the hell are you here anyway?' Zen asked angrily holding up his wrist at the same time as the rest of us.

The cloak tamer held up their hands in defense. "I wanted to explain everything but before I do that I wanted to show you. Who I really am." They explain while they grab the hood and slip it down.

I shake my head in disbelief. "It can't belief this." I whispered as I looked over at the eighth tamer.

Crystal rubbed her eyes, Her face the same ghostly white. "I thought you moved." She said with a shaky voice.

Zen cough as he started at the now reviled tamer. "It can't be you, what did that tamer did to you?" he asked in amazement

Cody blinked. "James didn't you used to have a crush on her?" he asked looking at the girl standing in front of us.

Elizabeth raised an eyebrow at this. "Who is she, I never meet her before?" she asked angrily looking over at me.

The eighth tamer standing before us was a fourteen year old girl. She had a black ponytail, she was Korean, she had glasses covering her brown eyes. The girl was wearing a silver jacket with pink outlines on the edges. She wore a silver skirt. "Hello guys, long time no see." She smiled sadly. "Nice to meet you my Names is Jiwon Chang. If you didn't know Elizabeth Dare." She inform her.

Phemon blinked. "So you're the unknown tamer?" he asked dumbly. "Why would you attack us?" he continuing asking questions while he scratch the back of his head.

Jiwon sighed and rubbed the back of her neck. "I am the eighth tamer." She started while she raised her hand to show an orb of electricity. "Why I attack you guys, well you see my Guardian wanted to see if you guys were truly the digidestineds." She explained.

Glaciamon coughed. "Well instead of attacking someone why didn't you just come up and ask us?" she asked angrily.

Jiwon rubbed her arm. "I had to test you guys, my Guardian wanted to see your fighting capabilities." She inform the dragon digimon.

Reymon snarled at her. "Yeah but you didn't have to change are digidestineds into digimon themselves?" he asked as he levitated in front of Zen. The fox digimon challenge her.

Jiwon was about to answer him but Egaramon stood in front of her. Her pink scurf seem to glow with the sunlight touching it. "We had no choice, and Jiwon can fix that right now. Can't you Jiwon?" She said looking over at her tamer.

Jiwon nodded pulling out a red baggie. She drawled out some blue dust into her palm of her hand.

Stripemon barred his fangs. "Cody I don't trust this!" he yelled jumping in front of him. "Memory digivoulation activate!" he shouted.

Cody digivice reacted to the command. A bright light shot out of the Cody's digivice hitting the in training level digimon. "Stripemon digivovle to...Panthemon!" He growled.

Panthemon snarled raising his claws in front of him. So he could defend us if he needed to. "Why should we trust that dust would work on them?" he asked with bitterness.

Jiwon shake her head. "I would never hurt my old friends, I promise you this won't hurt any of you." She exclaimed.

Miragemon brought out her sword raising it out in front of her. "You should prove it." She snarled. "Or your pony tail is not going to be their anymore, when I am finish with it." She growled.

Jiwon closed her eyes, and silver light seem to surround her until she became a humanoid eagle. Her wings spread across her back. "Do you believe me now?" she asked angrily. "My Guardian did the same to me, he activated my Digimon DNA because it causes your abilities and your digimon powers to increase." She exclaimed.

I looked around at my friends. I started to like how we were showing our digimon side. But I did miss my human self. "I believe you.' I said.

Crystal nodded. "Know that I know that you're a tamer, I am sorry for thinking you were evil and all." She chuckled.

Zen coughed. "I agree with Crystal, if you wanted us dead, you would have done way before not waiting until later." He pointed out.

Cody sighed. "We have to trust her, I mean. Yeah she did do a lot of bad things to us, but I trust Jiwon.' He said with a smile looking over at her.

Elizabeth shrugged. "If James trust you, I guess I can too." She said flatly looking away from this new tamer.

Jiwon nodded. "Okay this will only take a few seconds, I promise." She instructed as she threw the blue dust around my friends and I.

Phemon turn to Jiwon with a look of anger across his face. "I swear if you try to double cross us I will make sure, you won't see another day." He snarled cracking his winged hands.

Egaramon pointed a winged hand. "Why don't you close your beak and watch." She suggested.

The blue dust faded away from my friends and I, and all of us were back to normal.

Crystal started to jump up and down. "Yes! Yes I am don't have scales anymore!" she yelled happily running towards Jiwon and hugging her. "Thank you so much!"

Glaciamon blink. "I can't believe that work." She mumbled rubbing her chin.

Cody rubbed his now human ears. "You know I miss my tiger ears." He mumbled rubbing them sadly.

Panthemon smirked. "Hey looks like tiger ears isn't bad after all. You used to hate them and now you want them back." He teased patted him on his shoulder.

Cody rolled his eyes. "Okay I might have liked the ears okay, I mean I couldn't be the only one who liked their Digimon side of themselves." He said looking around at the rest of us.

Elizabeth nodded. "He is right, I mean I used to feel like a freak, with the angel wings I had on my back and on my forehead, but soon I realize I loved to fly. I mean it was completely awesome and now I feel like a part of myself has been taken away from me." She said sadly looking down at the sand under her shoes.

Miragemon gave her tamer a sad look. "Hey I mean I could give you a lift every once in a while." She said trying to make her feel better.

I nodded. "I mean you don't know how good you have it until you lose it." I mumbled sadly.

Jiwon looked at us with a smile. "Well if you all feel that way, it's good to now because you can activate your Digimon DNA freely now. You can go back and forth between human or Digimon. I also want to ask you guys a question." She said looking at us closely as she took off her glasses and went on to clean them with a napkin that she pulled out of her pocket.

Zen seem to be excited to hear this news. "That's wonderful news but what do you want to ask us Jiwon?" he asked with a bit of anger from the past.

Jiwon sighed looking at each of us as she put her glasses back over her eyes. "I wanted to ask if I can join your team against the Digimon sovereigns. I mean I do have the element of electricity, I do also have my necklace that shows I am the warrior of reliability as well." She inform us as she held up a necklace that was around her neck. The emblem that hang at the bottom of the necklace was a cross.

My friends and I blinked. I was about to answer yes, why wouldn't we allow you in the group.

When Reymon from all people levitated in front of all of us, snarling still.

"Why should we?" he asked. "I mean think of all the trouble you caused us. You almost killed off my friend Phemon all because of what happen to James, I mean his tamer was being controlled by the dark ocean but still you made Egaramon still try to kill him. So give me a reason we should trust you?" he asked waiting for Jiwon to respond.

Jiwon nodded. "I know what I done in the past was stupid-"she started but was quickly interrupted

"You can say that again. I don't know how all the tamers are buying your good now act. But I need to know that you won't backstab us in the back." Miragemon snarled pointing her sword at Jiwon and Egaramon.

Egaramon pointed a winged finger at Jiwon. "I know my tamer has done some stupid things but she had no choice. Her Guardian told her to do so. I mean why won't you trust her? The crest that picked her after all is the crest of reliability." She said angrily at the Digimon surrounding them.

Glaciamon laughed. "Well looks like it made one huge mistake because, Jiwon is anything but reliable." She said putting a gand on her hip.

Jiwon bit her lip. "You don't think I know that. You don't think I believe that the crest made a mistake. My whole life I was told to kill certain Digimon because of what my Guardian told me to do. He told me it was the way to get revenge for the death of my mother and father. I never knew my father. He died when i was a baby, and my mother died not that long afterword" She cried.

Phemon walked up to her and patted her on the shoulder. "I believe you" he said to her. "Don't cry, and you guys leave her alone! Come on she has a Digimon who is a legend like us. We do have to unite all of us again if we want any chance of beating the Digimon sovereigns." He pointed out angrily.

I nodded. "I think Phemon is right, if you want Jiwon and Egaramon to stay raise your hand because were voting to see if she can stay or not" I instructed.

One by one all of my friends raised their hands, along with Phemon and Wormon.

The other four Digimon shake their head in shame at their tamer.

Glaciamon looked at Crystal angrily. "I can't believe you would do something like this." She said barring her fangs at her.

I clapped my hands. "I don't want to hear anything more debating. Jiwon you are part of the team. Can you please lead us to the town?" I asked.

Jiwon wipe her tears and nodded. Egaramon and her took the lead and lead us through the desert.

"Here we are!" Jiwon said as she walked into what look like a town pulled out of an old western movie.

Digimon in all kinds of cowboy and cowgirl costumes walk around us laughing or talking and having fun.

I smiled. "This looks like a nice place to stay for a while." I said looking around at my friends to see what they said. My friends nodded, except for Glaciamon, Reymon, Panthemon and Miragemon who were still not talking to no one.

Phemon coughed. "Well why don't we try to find a place to eat? " He suggested pointing to a building that read Dinner in big blue letters.

"I think Phemon is right, I think we might all be hungry and that's why no one wants to talk right now." Crystal exclaimed walking over to the dinner with the rest of us following behind her.

When we walked into the dinner, we were greeted with a cry of delight from two digimon at a table with pie in front of them.

Elizabeth jump up in the air causing her angel wings to appear out of nowhere. "Wow so I guess being terrified can also be another way for our digimon side to pop out." Elizabeth laughed putting a hand to her forehead.

My friends and I all smiled as two familiar Palmon ran towards us. The two of them holding hands. Both of them were wearing a pink dress with a huge white box in the middle of their chest. One of them was holding what looked like a necklace.

"The Palmon sisters. "Cody said happily waving at them.

Panthemon looked happy as well forgetting he was angry with us about allowing Jiwon to join the group. "Nice to see you gals again." He said waving towards them. Then he looked grim. "We are all still sorry about your brother dying though." He said sadly.

The Palmon sister shake their heads. "It's okay, we both know that our brother is in our hearts." One of the Palmon's said happily smiling at us. "We also join the rebellion against the sovereigns." The other one yelled throwing her fist in the air like she was punching Azulongmon across his face.

Miragemon laughed and look at the left Palmon's clutch fist. "What do you have there?" she asked pointing to the left Palmon clutching the unknown item in her left hand.

Palmon blinked and realized that Miragemon spoke to her. "Oh sorry, here it is. We found this necklace when you guys defeated Flymon, around the house.' She inform the rat digimon. Palmon held out a necklace. It was black string at the end of it was an emblem that looked like a crown. It seem to glow a dark red when it got close to me.

Sora seem to appear out of it causing people to jump, at the sudden appearance of the old digidestined. She smiled as she reached down to the Palmon hand. "Can you please give it to me, so I can give to him?" she asked nicely.

Palmon nodded. "Sure thing bearer of love." She mumbled in shock handing Sora the necklace.

Sora walked over to me with a smile. "James please protect the crest of love, this crest keeps the darkness back. James don't let the darkness take over your heart. You don't know how strong your love powers the team. Do you think you can handle the title?" she asked with a smile.

I nodded slowly. "Yes I am." I said almost dumbly but I was able to fix myself halfway through.

Sora nodded and tied the necklace around my neck. "You are now the warrior of love." She inform me patting me on the shoulder. Suddenly Sora started to disappear in light red data. "Please save the digital world." She whispered as she completely disappeared.

Phemon blinked and then looked up at me. "I knew you would gain the title." He said happily patting me on the back.

I smiled and nodded I looked down at my necklace with hatred. It couldn't be. I thought. This was all a joke. The crest of love was doing this to me because it knew all the pain, I went through in my life. It wanted to make fun of me. Now all of my friends are smiling at me.

Oh wow! Now Glaciamon and Reymon are talking to Jiwon! Phemon will never be able to Digivolve beyond the champion level. I don't know how to love. I guess Elizabeth and I are fake love. I guess. She probably feels sorry for me.

A star like creature with a cowboy hat entered the dinner. "Hey Palmon Sisters looks like we have new town arrivals why don't you two make them something nice, please" he asked with a voice of kindness.

A Palmon nodded. "Sure thing boss, these are acutely some of our friends." One of them cried, then grab her sister hand. Both of them ran into the kitchen to start a meal.

Starmon smiled at us. "Nice to meet you, you must be the digidestineds I have been hearing about." He said with a smile.

Crystal smiled and waved. "Hi my name is Crystal Johnson, and this is my digimon Glaciamon." She inform him as she pointed out the blue dragon who was now by her side. All anger was gone from her.

Glaciamon smiled putting a resurging hand on her tamer's shoulder which told Crystal, that she forgave her. "Nice to meet you Starmon.' She chuckled

Zen waved before he said anything. "Yeah we are really thankful for you allowing us to eat here." He said happily scathing the back of his neck. "Oh and this is my digimon Reymon." He inform the digimon grabbing Reymon's paw.

Reymon grin up at Zen. "Yep this is my tamer, we have been going through the harsh desert for days." He said sadly.

Panthemon put his paw on Cody's arm. "And this is my tamer Cody Heart Jackson and I am his awesome digimon Panthemon." He chuckled smiling up at Cody.

Miragemon and Elizabeth seem to speak at the same time. "This is my digimon Mirage-"Elizabeth started but stooped when she noticed Miragemon was speaking

"This is my tamer Elizab-"Miragemon started but stopped so Elizabeth would be able to introduce them but they both seem to chuckle at their mistake.

"I am Elizabeth and this is my Digimon." Elizabeth said happily gesturing toward the smiling rat digimon.

Jiwon was next and she waved at him shyly. "I don't know the Palmon sisters but I just join the group. My name is Jiwon Chang. And this is my digimon Egaramon." She introduced herself and the eagle digimon who smiled warmly up at her.

Phemon gesture to me. I now had my hands covering the side of my head. "This is my tamer James, and I am his digimon, the handsome Phemon." He chuckled wiping his winged arm back to fix his feathers that stick up on the top of his head.

Starmon smiled. "Nice to meet you all, and I am glad that you are all here to save the digital world. The sovereigns have been causing so much pain in this world. They even killed my wife when she joined the rebellion. I vowed that one day I would get revenge." He snarled clenching his fist. "So you can come here anytime, if you need a place to escape or need something to eat. Free of charge of course." He chuckle patting Jiwon on her back.

Wormon's eyes glazed with tears. "Did you just say free!" he cried running towards the menu. "I want everything!" he shouted after he looked over the menu once.

Crystal face palm as the others started to burst out in laughter. "Wormon just get one thing please, I mean come on! He won't let us get that much food." She shouting throwing her arms about in embarrassment.

Starmon laughed. "It doesn't matter how much you guys order. You all are welcome to even use my dinner as a home base if you wanted." He inform us.

Wormon grinned up at Crystal. "So what were you saying?" he asked with a pleasant smile.

Crystal sweat drop. "Pig out." She mumbled

The others sat down, they started to read from menus. Only I stood where I was moments before. Phemon was looking up at me with concern.

Look at them. I thought. Their all laughing at you. They don't care about you, they're all going to be able to allow their digimon to reach the ultimate level while Phemon will be stuck forever as a champion level digimon. I just want to show them how much pain I feel right now. I started to clench my fists. My hands started to glow with fire, but quickly started to change to a dark flame, that was the same dark energy from the mall when I force Phemon to Digivolve to his evil ultimate stage.

Phemon pat a winged hand on my shoulder but I tamer didn't seem to notice. "James are you okay?" he asked

I bared my teeth. I want them all dead! The crest of love is a joke. The digital world deserves to die. I don't even care about Phemon! I hope he dies first. He is annoying! I deserve a better partner. Who knows how to fight.

I felt a tear fall from the corner of my eye.

Elizabeth looked up when she heard Phemon say my name again. Elizabeth turned around to look at me to see if I wanted to split a strawberry ice cream. She look scared when she notice I was surrounded by dark fire. She jump up from her seat causing the others to look over at me as well.

I was about to throw a dark blast of fire at Elizabeth. My anger was raising. When a voice was heard behind me.

"Hey birdy is your tamer retarded or something? He doesn't know how to talk or how to control the darkness inside of him." The voice laughed.

Phemon turned around to see a digimon whose name was Deputymon. He looked like a gun humanoid, he held two guns in his red gloved hand, a brown cowboy hat on top of his head. Phemon growled at him. "Leave me tamer alone you jackass!" he shouted pushing the digimon away from me.

Elizabeth was able to get to me wrapping her arms around me.

I blinked, I suddenly realizing what was going on. The anger was leaving me. "Oh my Elizabeth, I could have..._' I started to say but I stopped when I noticed Phemon fighting with an unknown digimon.

Deputymon crossed his arms. "What did you say to me, bird brain?" he asked angrily.

Phemon snarled. "I said leave my tamer alone, or do you want to make something of it?" Phemon asked. "Because you won't hurt James. James cares too much about everyone in the group." Phemon pushed Deputymon once more causing him to fall to the ground and land on his butt.

Deputymon growled. "You know what I always knew the sovereigns were right about you legends. I will give them a favor by killing you off, and sending them your head." He snarled. "Follow me if you're brave to have a fight with the best gun shooter in this town." He said angrily.

Phemon noticed Miragemon steeping forward along with the other four digimon trailing behind her. He put up his winged hand and looked over at Deputymon with a look of twisted anger. "Fine let's go, I can handle you any day." He snarled.

I started to shake my head. "No Phemon don't, it's not worth it." I started to mumbled.

Phemon smiled up at me. "I can handle him James, and besides I know you would do the same for me." He said holding up a thumbs up as he followed after Deputymon outside.

Crystal and Glaciamon looked grim. "I hope Phemon will be able to take care of himself alone." Crystal whispered putting a hand over her necklace as she was about to walk after Phemon but Glaciamon stopped her.

"We can't step out, this is a one on one battle, only a digimon and if it that digimon has a tamer can be out there." She inform her.

Jiwon and Egaramon looked over at me. "Are you going after him James?" she asked folding her arms, and raising her eyebrow.

Egaramon nodded. "He did protect you after all." She said coldly

I felt a pain deep in my heart as I stepped outside from the dinner. Starmon tried to stop me but I didn't want Phemon to get hurt.

I even wanted Phemon to die... I remembered when I thought that. Now it hit me straight in the heart when Phemon said. "I know you would do the same for me." I cringed. Phemon deserved a better tamer then me.

Phemon got into fighting position standing exactly fifty spaces away from Deputymon who was holding his guns out in front of him.

Deputymon shouted over to him. "You better Digivolve or this is going to be quick." He chuckled loading some ammo in his guns.

Phemon turn his head to me. "James!" he shouted looking at me with a smile when he notice my look of worry. Phemon gave me a comforting smile and gave me a nod.

I nodded as I raised my digivice. "Digivice!" I shouted.

Seven elements soar out of the digivice. Fire, Ice, Darkness, Wind, Light, Water, and Electricity. I touched the sphere of fire and watched as fire engulf my hand. It pulse with energy before I yelled. "Fire charge!" I slam my hand over my digivice. And watched with the same worry as fire roared from my digivice and hit Phemon, causing the digivoulation process to activate.

"Phemon fire Digivolve to...Blazemon!" He chirped loudly

Blazemon sneered down at Deputymon as he was high above him in the air. "Are you ready to apologize or are you going to fight?" the champion level Phoenix asked angrily.

Deputymon laughed as he raised his guns in the air and fired a couple of rounds.

Blazemon dodge them as he open his beak in anger. "Fine I wound't forgive you anyways, no one will hurt my friend James! Without going through me" he snarled. "Cry of a phoenix!" he cried out. He started to screech in high frequencies causing Deputymon to cover the side of his head.

I didn't even covered my ears. I watched in terror as my digimon fought for me. "Blazemon stop." I whispered tears started to form in my eyes.

Deputymon seem to point his end of the gun barrel which was his body toward the screeching Phoenix. He laughed as he shouted. "Justice Blaster." He shouted he fired from his gun barrel. He launched a bullet which hit Blazemon directly in the chest.

Blazemon shouted out in pain. A few bits of red data, flew away from him but he still flew down towards Deputymon in anger. Fire started to surround the angry Phoenix. "This is for James!" he screamed "Flaming devastation" he roared. He became a huge fireball and slam his body causing Deputymon to slam back into an old house, causing it to fall apart and cave on top of him.

The people in the dinner cheered out in happiness.

Starmon threw his fist in the air. "I knew the legend of fire would be able to win" he shouted happily.

Panthemon and Cody gave each other high fives.

Zen smiled. "I knew Blazemon would be able to save James from the bitch!" he growled.

Reymon nodded. "I know my friend, he may be annoying but he is also very protective." He laughed levitating next to Zen.

I ran over to stand next to Blazemon.

I looked up at the majestic champion level digimon. "Thank you so much Blazemon, but I don't deserve to be your tamer." I cried looking down at the sand around me.

Blazemon tilted his head in confusion. "James you are my best friend." He started to say but was interrupted as Deputymon appeared out of the rubble.

"I am not done with you yet." He snarled. "If you like your tamer so much I wonder how much of a fight you would be after this!" he shouted.

He pointed his guns towards me and fired. I closed my eyes waiting for death to take me. I could hear my friends yelling my name but it all seem to go quiet all of sudden. I could still hear someone yelling but I knew, I was dead.

I was confused though. I thought would see a bright white light. But all I see was darkness. Maybe I don't deserve to go to Heaven. I thought. I deserve to go to Hell. I cried in my mind.

But again I was wondering why death felt so soft. I tried to open my eyes and realized Blazemon was protecting me.

He took the bullets for me, red data was flying away from him like crazy. The bird had blood covering his back. He was painting in pain. The screams I heard now was mostly was Miragemon crying as she was being held back.

I shake my head. I looked up at Blazemon's pain eyes. "No Blazemon, why?" I cried slowly hugging the champion level digimon who was having a hard time breathing.

Blazemon sighed. "James you know why. You would do the same for me and besides I love you. You're like a brother to me. I will never stop protecting you and if I die to protecting you. Then I know I did my duty as your digimon." He said as he flew away from me.

I watched in terror as Blazemon soar towards Deputymon. I cried out Blazemon's name like millions of times but the bird digimon didn't listen to me.

He couldn't Digivolve because of me. This was all my fault. Just because I couldn't activate the stupid crest of love. I felt tears streaming across my face. It's all my fault, Blazemon is going to die. The sovereigns will win. The digital world and Earth will be taken over and it's all my fault. I thought as I continued to cry.

I only watch in sadness as my friends continue to yell encouragement for me. The Palmon sisters as well waved their plant like arms back and forth and Starmon was hopping up and down along with some other digimon I didn't even know.

I could even swore I saw an old man looking digimon but it wasn't time for a side look stare.

I quickly look back to the fight with Blazemon and Deputymon. The cowboy digimon shot a couple of bullets that missed and snarled as he had to reload his gun.

I held my emblem in shaking hands. I want Phemon to win. I thought. I would protect him, I don't want him to die. I thought. Under my shaking hands the necklace started to glow a dark red, my body starting to become red data.

Blazemon took the time to fly high in the air. Data seem to be pouring out of his wounds like a river but he still seem ready to continue fighting to protect me. Blazemon let out a battle cry as he started to be covered in fire. "Flaming devastation." Blazemon soar down from the air heading in the direction of Deputymon.

Deputymon raised his gun even before Blazemon started to soar down. "Looks like you lose birdy." He laughed as he fired bullets at the flaming bird. It hit Blazemon straight in the chest. Blood gush through his open wound.

The fire which surrounded Blazemon disappeared. The huge bird started to fall part in data like a puzzle piece. Blazemon started to fall to the ground. His blue eyes seem to look dead.

I started to cry. Tears feel from my the corners of my face. Memories of Phemon and I started to appear in my head.

"Hi James" the bird said in an excited little boy's voice.

My eyes open wide, not believing what I was seeing a talking bird, I must be dreaming. I froze. "You talked" I whispered. It nodded.

"Im your digimon, Shuinemon" he cheered and flew into my open arms.

Phemon flew above my friend's heads, he was singing Fireworks by Katy Perry. Phemon grin above the tamers.

My friends and I were covering our eyes from his terrible singing.

I bit my lip drawling blood. I didn't want this friendship to end. I ran forward to help the falling Blazemon. "No Blazemon! I love you!" I screamed tears flying from the corner of my eyes.

I suddenly started to yell out in pain as I became red data. I raised my wrist. "Digivice!" I screamed. My digivice beep twice. A stop sign appearing on the screen. "Soul charge, Phoenix!" I roared out in pain. A few seconds went by with nothing happening but suddenly the stop sign was replaced by the image of the crest of love blazing on the screen. Music and red data seem to rocket out of my digivice hitting the falling Blazemon.

The red data seem to surround Blazemon. He body becoming complete data. Fire surrounded the sphere of red data now. "Blazemon soul charge Digivolve too..." Blazemon called from the sphere of data. Suddenly a silhouette of a humanoid appeared. The fire and red data seem to disappear just enough for a humanoid Phoenix to fly out of it. Blazemon was flying high. His face seem to look similar to Phemon. A black cowboy hat sat on top of his head, a few feathers sticking out from the hat. The humanoid wore a red cowboy jacket, black jeans and black cowboy's boots. The digimon wings were now on his back. His arms were now more human looking but still had feathers surrounding them. The fire disappeared along with the data when the digivoulation was over with. "Stymphamon!" he shouted in a country accent.

I shake my head as I turn back to normal and notice Stymphamon flying near me. He was now smiling down at me.

He tilted his cowboy hat in greeting. "I told you not to worry." He laughed down at me.

I felt tears streaming down my face, and I slowly smiled. " I helped you Digivolved." I cried. "I thought you were going to die." I whispered sadly.

Stymphamon kept the same grin on his face. 'You have to try harder if you want to give rid of me." He chuckled. "Your power is coursing through my veins. I mean I felt it before but I never believed it would be this strong." He inform me. "Now if you excuse me I have some unfinished business to take care of." He snarled facing toward the Deputymon who seem to be tip toing away.

I barred my teeth. "Get him Stymphamon show him the power of the legends!" I shouted.

Stymphamon pulled out two guns from his holster, he put one in each hand and flew in the direction of Deputymon. "So you ready to apologize?" he asked angrily. "Flame pistol!" he roared firing bullets that were on fire. Deputymon was hit directly.

Deputymon looked shocked when he saw yellow data slowly flying away from him. "I will not lose to a wannabe cowboy like you." He snarled. Firing bullets back at him.

Stymphamon shake his head. "Fine you made your choice." He growled. "Burning Mirage." He shouted. He spread out his wings out on his back and held up his winged arms in the air. Suddenly a huge flaming phoenix soar out of his body. Flying into Deputymon straight in the gut.

Deputymon was thrown back into the sand and rocks. He tried to catch himself so he could get back up and kill this digimon. He got up slowly as he stopped rolling around in the sand. "You will not win!" he roared holding up his barrel and crying out. "Justice Barrel!" He fired out from each gun he owned but Stymphamon dodge each bullet like it was the easiest thing to do.

The music that accompany Stymphamon digivoulation suddenly stopped which caused me to smile because I knew what happen next.

Stymphamon and I started to speak in perfect unison even though we were a couple of yards away from each other. "This town is big enough for the two of us." He chuckled as Stymphamon started to be surrounded by fire and red data. "Destruction by fire!" he yelled. The blast was like a solar flare it caused Deputymon to suddenly burst into yellow data not even giving him time to yelp or curse out.

The yellow data flew into my digivice when it was all over. I looked up at Stymphamon who was smiling at me.

I gave him a thumbs up and suddenly the cowboy digimon was surrounded by fire and red data. And a familiar small bird flew towards me.

I caught the bird digimon in my arms. He was Shuinemon his in training form. I smiled at the beaming digimon.

"That was awesome." He chuckled. 'I always knew one day I would be able to Digivolve to this level but I didn't know it was going to be today." He chuckled with delight.

My friends ran toward us. All of them were smiling. "That was awesome!' Panthemon and Cody both cheered in unison.

Elizabeth hugged me. "I knew you would be able to save him." She cried.

Zen looked over at Miragemon who still had a few tears falling form her cheek. "I can't believe you were crying." He teased the rat digimon with a friendly smirk.

Reymon nodded. 'I didn't even knew she could cry." He laughed along with his tamer.

Miragemon snarled holding up her sword. "Be quiet or you both are going to die." She snarled. Getting close to the both of them, still holding the sword threateningly.

Egaramon gave James' a thumbs up. "Good job now we have four ultimate level digimon on this team." She pointed out happily.

Jiwon nodded. "Yep but know we only have to wait for Crystal and Zen to activate their soul charges." She chuckled gesturing for the two of them.

Crystal grinned. "That is going to be a piece of cake, I bet I will be the next one to activate their soul charge." She said happily. "We should have a contest Zen." She chuckled patting her best friend on the back.

Zen nodded. "We should!" he chuckled. Reymon grin along with his tamer.

Wormon hop out of the dinner with barbeque sauce on his face. "What did I miss?" he asked dumbly. Looking around at the tamers.

"Before you tell him anything, I think I have some news that may be worth to you all." A voice said loudly to catch all of our attention.

My friends and I looked over to see an old looking man digimon. He was wearing a blue lab coat with red outlines on it. He had wrinkles all over his skin, he was short and had a white pony tail. 'My name is Gennai." He introduce himself. "I have some news for you all. You may believe there is only eight tamers but you're sadly mistaken." He said sadly looking at the sand.

We all blinked. "Wait theirs only eight legends." Miragemon said in shock. "I thought there was only eight crest and elements as well." She pointed out not believing him at all.

Gennai shake his head. 'The ninth tamer is a girl and she has the crest of justice, and the element of night. She is being stalk by a digimon sovereign. If you want to save her and a legend. You only have to ask your new friend here, where you should go next." He said walking away from them without another word.

I held up my hand. "Wait! You got to tell us more! Do you know anything more about us or the secrets beyond our digimon digivoulation?' I asked almost screaming.

We all look at Jiwon who seem to be just as confused as us. "I have no idea where we should go." She mumbled looking down at her shoes.

(Azulongmon castle dungeons, Amanda 's P.O.V.)

I sat in the corner of my cell with my head in my lap. I was crying nonstop ever sense I was thrown in here.

I would cry myself to sleep every once in a while but it was always the same Huitzomon was being held captive and I was down here in a cell. I had failed the digital world.

"Don't worry, Huitzomon I will save you." I cried loudly covering my face in my lap once more.

(Azulongmon's throne room, Azulongmon's P.O.V.)

I sat in my golden throne looking at Huitzomon who was in the middle of a gigantic orb of water. The water digimon would stir in his long sleep but would not awake until his tamer's touch would awake him from his forced sleep.

I grinned everything was going according to plan. The legends will never be able to come back because I would kill each and every one of them. I didn't care what my boss thought of it. The teenagers were a pain and needed to be stopped now, not later. I thought to myself.

A Patamon flew in the window and stopped in midair in front of me to salute. "Sir I was flying over the desert zone and notice another digimon has reached the ultimate level." He inform me with a non-shaky tone like most of my troops would be doing at this instant.

I looked over at the three minor legends with a smirk, we were already expecting this news. "Well who was it, Glaciamon or Reymon?' I asked chuckling.

The Patamon now was frighten. "Ah it was Phemon sir," he said in a shaky tone." He inform me flying away behind a pillar to hide from the wrath that was begging to show itself on my face.

I roared out in anger. "I was not expecting for his tamer to bring forth the crest of love this quickly I thought his heart was covered in the dark ocean." I roared out almost wanting the Patamon who brought me the news to turn into data right there and then.

Okenusmon chuckled. "I told you we should have gotten after them before they got stronger, and look now, Phemon your rival by the way has just reached another level closer to his past life, what are you going to do when he returns?" he asked playfully.

I barred my fangs at him. "Quiet!" I roared. "I want to know where they are heading next, I want to see them perish and I want to see it now!" I roared once more and the room to shake almost like an earthquake.

James- gosh this episode has been dramatic don't you think Phemon?

Phemon- you bet, now with Jiwon on our side we have another legend, crest and an element

James- yeah but don't forget we stumbled in the desert zone where we are later attacked by a digimon name Deputymon.

Phemon- yeah he may have been a problem and almost killed me, but he was no problem when you were able to activate your soul charge and I was able to Digivolve into Stymphamon my ultimate level!

James- Yep I was acutely scared but with the fight won we find out that the team is still not complete. we all thought yeah no duh, Amanda and Jeffrey are being held captive but come to find out there is another tamer!
