Seamus and his mum ended up having a shouting match in the hallway. She agreed to at least to let him stay for the funeral. She did make it very clear that he was to not associate with Cortney and her family.  It has been a week since Dumbledore's funeral, Harry made his way to Dumbledore's office. It felt lonely and instead of homey and welcoming. Harry was in deep thought when a voice spoke.

" Potter," He turned to see Professor McGonagall, she had a sad face, but eyes of hope. " In light of the situation if you should ever need someone to talk to." Harry walked past her. " You know Professor Dumbledore, you meant a great deal to him," The two stood in the room stared at each other before Harry walked out. He went to the Astronomy Tower, Fawkes was perched on his arm. Harry walked over to the stop where Dumbledore fell. He whispered something to Fawkes and he took off. His giant red and gold wings spread through the sky as he flew out of sight. Fawkes deserved to be set free in Harry's opinion. Minutes later Hermione, Ron and Cortney found him. Hermione and stood next Harry as Ron sat down on the steps.

" Do you think he would have done it ? Draco? " Cortney asked.

" No, he was lowering your wand," Harry said. " In the end it was Snape. it always was Snape". Harry took out the locket and handed it to Hermione. The day before he discovered it was fake from the note inside it. " It's fake. Open it". She opened it and pulled out the note.

" To the Dark Lord, I know I will be long dead before you read this, but I want you to know it was I who discovered your secret. I have stolen the real Horcrux and intends to destroy it as soon as I can. I face death in hope that when you meet your match you will be mortal once more R.A.B ' R.A.B ? " Hermione read and asked.

" Dunno," Harry said looking at Ron. " But whoever they are they have the real Horcrux. Which means it was all a waist. All of it". He turned to look at Ron who gave him a small smile.

" Ron's okay with it you know. You and Ginny," Cortney said as she rubbed her tummy. She threw up that morning. She has been for the past few mornings.

" If I were you and he's around I'd keep the snogging down to a minimum," Hermione advised, Harry breathed a laugh. 

" I'm not coming back Hermione, Cortney. I've got to finish whatever it is Dumbledore started," Harry said. " And I don't know where that will lead me, but I'll let the both of you and Ron know where I am. When I can".

" I've always admired your courage. But sometimes you can be really thick. You don't really think you'll be able to find all these Horcruxes by yourself ? " Hermione asked. Harry remained silent. " You need us Harry".

" I've already discussed it with Seamus,Ron and Hermione, I'm becoming a Death Eater. You need a inside scoop," Cortney told Harry. He looked at her like she was insane.

" That's too dangerous," Harry protested.

" Like Hermione said, you need us Harry," Cortney said. All of a sudden Fawkes flew back into view before disappearing once again. The four of them watched Fawkes flew away, and out of sight. This time he didn't return.

Cortney was on her way to the hospital wing with Hermione.

" Do you think you have some sort of bug ? " Hermione asked.

" Possibly," Cortney answered. 

" Cortney, you don't have to do this, become one of them," Hermione said.

" No, I have to do this," Cortney said. " You can't tell anyone else and You-Know-Who's side can't find out".

" So you are going to be like a spy ? " Hermione asked.

" Yes," Cortney answered. They entered the hospital wing. Madame Pomfrey took car of her.

" Ms. Lestrange," Madame Pomfrey said looking at her.

" Yes, Madame Pomfrey," Cortney said sitting on a bed, Hermione right by her.

" I have important news for you, stay seated," Madame Pomfrey advised. Cortney looked at Hermione concerned. 

" What is the news ? " Cortney asked.

" You are pregnant," Madame Pomfrey revealed. Cortney's face went stone-cold straight. Hermione sat next to Cortney and rubbed her back.

" Who's the father ? " Hermione asked.

" Mr. Finnigan," Madame Pomfrey answered. " I can get rid of it for you right now".

" No," Cortney said. " I'll keep the baby".

" We're in the middle of a war," Madame Pomfrey said.

" I know," Cortney said. " It's a chance I am willing to take". Madame Pomfrey nodded and walked away.

" Are you really going to keep the baby ? " Hermione asked.

" Yes," Cortney asked. " Death Eater's Headquarters are held at the Malfoy Manor, I will more of a reason to stay there and get information. Besides it's Seamus's too," Cortney explained.

" You are determined to be on the inside scoop," Hermione said.

" Well being best friends with Pansy, we know a lot of gossip," Cortney laughed. Hermione let out light laugh. " Besides that's what makes me Slytherin, my determination".

" Are you going to break the news to him ? " Hermione asked.

" What choice do I have ? " Cortney questioned. They stood up to leave.

" You should go find him, before you two basically never see each other again," Hermione advised. Cortney nodded. After a good 45 minutes, Cortney finally found Seamus at the Quidditch field. He was under the stands, the spot where he found out she was a animagus.

" Hey," Cortney greeted as she approached him.

" Hey," Seamus greeted back. " I heard you were looking for me".

" Yes I was," Cortney answered. " I know you aren't supposed to associating with me".

" That's why we are under the Quidditch stands," Seamus answered. " What do you need to tell me ? "

" You might want to sit down for this," Cortney advised. Seamus looked at her oddly and did as she said. Cortney sat down next to him. " Remember that one night  like a week or so ago".

" Yeah," Seamus said smiling and blushing a bit.

" Well I haven't been feeling so good those couple of weeks," Cortney informed him. She looked at him and he looked concern. 

" Do you have a bug ? " Seamus asked concerned.

" More like a bun," Cortney said looking away. 

" Is it mine ? " Seamus asked immediately knowing what she was trying to say.

" Yes," Cortney breathed not wanting to look at him. He grabbed her face and turned it so she would look at him.

" I am not going to leave," Seamus confirmed. She looked at him in the eyes and entered his mind.

" You're scared, but happy," Cortney breathed.

" Stop doing that ! " Seamus exclaimed. " I'd appreciate if you weren't inside my head".

" Sorry," Cortney apologized.

" I'm guessing you won't be coming back to Hogwarts," Seamus sighed.

" You got it," Cortney sighed. 

" If I am not there for my child's birth. Then if it is a boy I want it to have the name Dean somewhere in there," Seamus announced.

" And if it's a girl ? " Cortney asked.

" Dana," Seamus answered. He put his hand on her stomach. " I might not be there when you are born or first few months, but I will be there for the rest of your life". Cortney kissed his cheek.

" She's going to be growing up with Death Eaters for her first few months, and there is nothing I can do about it," Cortney cried.

" Cortney, you doing something totally stupid, but I can't stop you," Seamus pointed out. " Our child will be okay". The two of them got out of from under the stands, and went to go sit in the stands. They looked at the sun together for one last time.
