☆Chapter 13☆

Once the morning arrived, the trio met up at Josuke's house, since he was the only one of them who still owned a radio.  "Come to think about it, it's weird that there's a new radio show in this day and age." Josuke commented as he flipped through the channels.

As he found the station, the three teens sat and listened.

"Moshi Moshi! And welcome to the first episode of DYWKS, a new radio show!" The hostess exclaimed through the radio.  She sounded young, like she was around high school age.  As she babbled about the premise of the show, Josuke looked at the two others.  "Uh, are you sure this is the right station? I mean, what would two adult men be doing being interviewed on a gossip radio show?" He asked before getting his answer.

"Now then, for my first guests, I have fencing star, Jean-Pierre Polnareff and his husband, Muhammad Avdol." She stated with a round of fake applause, most likely coming from a sound machine.

That was correct, Polnareff did do fencing after the defeat of DIO, but Josuke didn't think he was famous for it. "Guess it was only in France or something." He thought as he listened to the interview.

"Well, I don't mean to brag, but I must say my fencing skills are second to none. Let's just say, I had a very good teacher when I was growing up." Polnareff replied as soon as the applause machine died down. "Oh, the rush of when a match becomes intense, how close one can get to being beaten only to make a comeback at the last second. Fencing is all about speed and precision, which I have both of."

"Oh really? Well, you didn't show much of the latter when we met." Avdol joked. Of course, he was referring to the time they dueled back in Hong Kong, but he didn't want to go into too much detail. The hostess would probably look at them like they were crazy if they mentioned an immortal vampire controlling his future husband to kill the entire group. "We met when Polnareff was taking a short trip to Egypt, I'm a fortune teller myself and specialize in Tarot cards."

"Wow, that's very interesting Mr. Avdol. Do you think you could read my future one day? That is unless you're not going to stay in Morioh for very long." The hostess asked.

"I suppose if there is time, I could set up a little stand for anyone to come and have their fortunes told. But there are some circumstances even I can't predict." Avdol replied.

"Ooooh, very mysterious, like a real-life oracle."

As the hostess spoke, something seemed odd to the pompadoured teen. He couldn't put his finger on it but something was off. His suspicion was confirmed after the ad break. "Righty then! I know what you guys want, the meat and potatoes of this show... That being hot juicy goss!"

"Oh, well we listened to the interview, maybe we should just shut off the radio." Okuyasu stated as he reached for the dial. However, just as he was about to turn it off, the hostess said something shocking, at least to the trio.

"Did you know? Famous Mangaka, Rohan Kishibe, lives right here in Morioh, in fact, he grew up here! But you probably knew that. But did you know he wears thongs? Specifically, Versace brand, gotta stay classy am I right? But he shouldn't care about being classy when he's beefing with teenagers, his main target is Egyptian comic artist, Boingo. Kinda cringe right? After this commercial break, we'll discuss the supernatural things happening in this town." She stated.

As the show went on break, the teens just looked at eachother. "What the? How does she know about that? She wasn't even there when Rohan said that." Koichi asked. "I dunno, you don't think this is an enemy stand user, do you?" The pompadoured teen said. "Who knows, maybe we could investigate."

"Well, I dunno, I mean she doesn't really seem like the evil type. Aside from outing Rohan for wearing thongs, I dunno how she would find that out unless some of his flaming thongs came out when I crashed that truck into his place." Okuyasu remarked.

"So far it's only Rohan, but what if she ends up giving away our location to Chiharu? Or she exposes what our stands are capable of to someone else who's still out there and wanting to get back at Dad or Jotaro for taking out DIO. I mean we were attacked by Giorno at first, so who knows who else is still out there who wants revenge?"

"Like that guy with the souped-up car who got chained up in the middle of nowhere? I mean someone must have untied him at some point." Koichi remarked. "Well, we should still investigate."

First things first, find out who exactly the hostess was, they figured she must be a stand user to find out something that personal. But it seemed like the three weren't the only ones out looking for the radio hostess, Rohan appeared to have heard the entire show from the hotel he was staying at until his house was repaired. "Grr, so she doxed me, huh?"

The mangaka was a loner, purposely and meticulously avoiding interviews and public appearances so he can be a mystery to the public, and to not be able to be accountable for any problematic opinions he has. So, to have his privacy invaded by some highschooler to ruin that for him was not going to end well.

"Well, she's most likely at the radio station, so I can stalk her and jump her with Heaven's Door to make sure she never says anything about me again." He thought as he made his way to the station.

Meanwhile, at the station, the hostess had just finished her broadcast. Her name was Kimiko Oshiberi. A second-year student, she was short for a seventeen-year-old. Her pastel pink hair was at most shoulder length but was tied in twin tails.

She stood from her desk and walked up to a man. That man was her father, Shinji Oshiberi, a retired radio host who worked behind the scenes now. He was able to get Kimiko her own show due to his status. "Hmm, yes Kimiko?"

"Papa, I'm going home now, I finished my broadcast." She stated simply, fidgeting with her coat sleeves. "Ah, alright. Do you need me to walk you home or-?"

"No, papa, I remember where our house is." She smiled as she gathered her belongings to go home. "If you say so, just be careful, okay?" Her father asked before getting a nod in response.  But before she left, she decided to go to the breakroom and get some tea.

The mangaka artist was on his way over when he noticed a man exit. "Well, it can't be him, since the host sounded like a young girl. Hmm, perhaps she's still inside there? It'll be a quick job, just in and out. I'll make sure she never tries a dirty trick like that again! And this time there won't be two stand users trying to make a clone of me or punch me around to stop me." Rohan growled as he snuck in. "Mr. Parkour can climb around just fine, so I can too."

Kimiko was enjoying her tea when she noticed a familiar face entering, and he was looking furious. "Oh! Mr. Rohan Kishibe? What are you doing here? Do you have a visitor's pass to come in here?" She squeaked.

"Oh, I don't need one, not when you invaded my own privacy!" Rohan snapped. "Just how the hell were you able to get all that information when we never even met?! And I hardly even do interviews so you would never find out what brand of thongs I wear here! Not that I would want anyone to find that out because who would be interested in the fancy clothes I wear?"

"Uh, I just thought it was hot gossip that the public would be interested in, I mean other than that you have some really petty beef with Boingo. Although that not really is much of a secret considering your scowl at that last interview you had."

"How do you know about that anyway, I never mentioned anything with that comic artist-"

"Excuse me, is there a problem?" A voice asked. "Huh?"

It was a security guard who thought something was happening, possibly from the fact that Rohan was screaming at Kimiko in a private location. "Oh, uh, nothing's wrong I-"

"Please show me your pass, if you don't have one I'll have to escort you off the premises..." The guard stated. Rohan, not wanting to face public scrutiny, used heaven's door on the guard and wrote inside of him that he hadn't seen Rohan today. "You may have gotten lucky but I will find you and Oh I will get my vengeance." He sneered at Kimiko before making his escape.

Kimiko, a bit scared now since a guy who wanted revenge on her turned a guy into a book, looked through her bag. She had her pepper spray and other self-defense items, so she was prepared. "Okay, I think I can go home now. The show is over for today, and I need to finish that assignment for school." She said to herself as she finished her tea.

Unfortunately, his vengeance came sooner than Kimiko would have liked. He literally waited for her outside to yoink her into an alley. Before she could grab any of her defense tools, Rohan opened her with Heaven's Door. The worst part is, she couldn't even scream for help. Her throat was tightening from the anxiety and fear, she just tried to run but she couldn't.

That was, however, until a certain voice shouted from the distance. "Rohan what are you doing?" That person was Josuke.

"Oh great, you've arrived." Rohan grumbled, he was in no mood to see the one responsible for burning down his house and earlier beating him to a pulp to the point where Pink Dark Boy had to go on hiatus while he was recovering in the hospital. "Just how did you find me here?"

"I could tell it was you even ten miles away, we were just looking for this gossip reporter, but I guess you beat us to it." Josuke grunted, summoning Crazy Diamond in case things got ugly. "And you used Heaven's Door on her?"

"Well, I decided to look into her memories and see how SHE likes having all of her personal information leaked!" Rohan snapped. "Let's see now, bullied extensively for her autism to the point where she had to drop out, gained her stand from an arrow shot that allows her to look into the lives of whoever she uses her glasses on."

Josuke wasn't going to hear another word of it, especially since Kimiko didn't even reveal that incriminating information, was he really that embarrassed about everyone finding out that he wears thongs? He immediately launched Crazy Diamond at the mangaka artist, bashing him away from Kimiko. "Just leave her alone, will ya?"

"But she's getting what she-" Rohan would have continued but Josuke stood his ground, about to send Crazy Diamond towards him again. This caused the mangaka to scurry off, so as to not get his ass beat again. Kimiko returned back to normal but didn't move. "Hey are you okay?" Okuyasu asked, only to get no reply. "Uh... She's alive, right? I didn't think Rohan killed her."

"I think she's just overstimulated, Jotaro got like this once during our trip to Egypt, though I'm not certain if this is the same thing." Josuke explained. "Besides, she's fidgeting with her sleeves right now. How could she be dead if she's moving."

"Um, what do we do? It's not like we could leave her here, Rohan might try to get her again." Koichi asked. "We don't even know where she lives, so it's not like we can take her home."

"Maybe we can try telepathically talking to her? Or maybe wait until she calms down." Josuke said before trying option A. In her head, there were multiple conversations going on at once due to her anxiety and stress, most likely talking to herself to calm down. So it's not like he could talk to her without overwhelming her more. "Well, uh, guess it's plan b."

Once Kimiko became verbal again, she sat up before bursting out into tears. "Huh? Why are you crying?"

"B-Because of what Rohan said! I didn't even say anything that bad about him... He broke into the radio station and tried to deal with me there." She spoke between sobs, embarrassed. "Hey, it's going to be okay.  How about we take you home? Y'know, so Rohan doesn't try that shit again." The pompadoured teen suggested to her calmly.

"U-uh... But what's going to happen if he knows where I live? I didn't mean to make him upset, I just heard all that gossip about him and since it's my job to report on that sort of stuff for my show, I just I... I.. I don't know." Kimiko mumbled, tugging at her sleeves the more she continued to think about what Rohan had done to her earlier.

"Damn, that bitchless bastard traumatized her to kingdom come." Okuyasu thought as he watched her start to have another meltdown. "Hey... Hey, we're not going to hurt you. And we're not gonna let him do anything to you either." He tried to reassure her.

"You... You promise?"

"You know it, Rohan's got beef with Oku and I too, so we're all on the same boat really." Josuke assured her. "Hey, so uh, where do you live?"

Feeling like she could trust the taller teens, Kimiko led the way to the Oshiberi household. "Papa? I'm back..." She mumbled. "I guess he's gone out to get dinner. Um, can you stay with me? At least until he comes back, I just don't feel safe alone."

"That's what we're here for." Josuke assured her. "So, that radio show. You were interviewing a married couple earlier today?"

"Oh, Jean-Pierre Polnareff and Mohammad Avdol? Yes I interviewed them. I was told that I should have guests on my radio show, and they were the only people who agreed on such short notice." Kimiko explained before pausing. "Oh, wait, I should make you tea, right? I never had people come over so I'm not really sure, but uh... That's what people do when they host people, right?" She continued before going to the kitchen to make them tea.

"Hey you don't have to, you went through a lot today." Josuke said. "I insist, especially since you helped me." The girl stated as she got out a step stool to reach the teabags. "Um... You're fine with black tea? Sorry, I didn't have time to prepare and get other varieties." She asked before getting some mugs out. They had little paintings of sanrio characters on them, and were roughly 12 fl ounces.

"Anyway, why do you ask?"

"Oh, well, I know them, personally, so, I just wanted to know why you chose them." Josuke said before an awkward silence filled the room. The only thing breaking the silence was the sound of Kimiko's phone. Whipping it out, she exposed her phone, a light pink flip phone with about 15 charms dangling from it; it was almost like a weapon. She answered it. "Moshi moshi! Hi Papa, why are you calling me?"

"I'm just making sure you got home safe, also, please lock the doors, I won't be home until tomorrow. I got asked to get drinks with someone-"

"Oh, you're on a date! Well, okay, uh, is it okay, if I have friends over for the night?" She asked. "Sure, just make sure you go to bed before 12 am. Okay, love you." He said. "Love you too." Kimiko said before hanging up. "Oh wait, I should have asked if you wanted to stay the night. Um... Do you want to...?"

"I mean, I'm cool with it. Keicho's probably busy so I'll just sneak back into the house early morning before he realizes I wasn't in the house all night." Okuyasu replied.

"Uh, I think my mom might have some issues with me staying with someone I just met. I mean, I'm sure Jotaro and Dad can convince her I'll be safe. I mean I love her but she's scary if you get her mad." Josuke added. "You got a phone? I just need to send her a voice message over the phone."

Koichi would have to call his folks immediately afterwards, thankfully he didn't need to convince his mom about spending the night over at Kimiko's as Josuke did with Tomoko. "Dang, sounds like your mom doesn't really trust you when it comes to being alone." Kimiko noticed.

"Yeah, apparently I'm not responsible enough just because I happen to spend more time gaming than doing homework. But can you blame me? So much of that stuff is so boring! I'm not gonna be a math teacher when I graduate so why do I need to learn long division?" Josuke declared. "So, since we're all spending the night, do we have like pillow fights and stuff?"

Making a pillow fort sounded fun, but Kimiko didn't want to get in trouble for putting clean pillows on the ground. "How about I brew your teas and then we can all watch a film. I've got a couple with me and uh, I guess there's some old toys Papa kept around even when I was getting too old for them. It's mostly dolls and stuff, but I've got some Legos."

"Whoa you have Legos? That's cool. I'm not allowed to have any in my house because Police might try to eat them. Oh, Police is my dog by the way." Koichi stated. "Yeah, I don't have any sets though, just some assorted blocks." Kimiko explained. "Oh, well, it would still be cool to play with them."

Kimiko gave Josuke her phone to use to call his mom before going to get her box of legos as well as her collection of movies. But her collection was... Odd to say the least. For someone who's all cutesy she enjoyed a lot of horror movies.

"So, for movies I have some classics, Tetsuo: The Iron Man, Ringu, Godzilla-"

"How about we watch Godzilla? I mean, it's a classic." Josuke said, not wanting to admit that he'd be scared if he watched the other films. "You don't have to lie. If you're scared of horror movies, you can just say it. I think I have something else-"

"What? How did you know that?" The pompadoured teen asked. "Oh, well, um... Rohan said it." Kimiko stated. "Huh?"

"Well... I have this ability, upon which I dubbed "Do You Want To Know A Secret" Like The Beatles song. It can see people's deepest secrets. I know anyone and everyone's secrets, even yours."

"Wait, any secrets...?" Josuke asked, a bit concerned. "Oh, don't worry, I won't out you for content. I may be a gossip reporter, but I wouldn't dare do that."

"Oh, that's a relief. I think Rohan would want to know about that too, since he just assumed you would spill every little detail about his life to the entire listening public. That guy really needs to learn to chill." The pompadour haired teen remarked. "Chill about a lot of things really."

"Well maybe Rohan's still bitter about the fire you set."

"Hey! He was the one who left that magnifying glass out in the sun where it would intensify on that wooden table and then it just grew. I figured it was karma for him trying to out me as trans and then tossing Mikitaka around that roughly."

Koichi couldn't believe that Josuke unintentionally caused Rohan's house to burn down. "Is that why I saw Okuyasu driving a firetruck earlier? I don't even know how he managed to steal it without anyone chasing him down." He asked.

"Oh yeah, I just sensed somehow that Jojo here needed help involving a fire, so I snuck into the fire station and hotwired the biggest truck they had." Okuyasu explained. "But boy did Keicho demand what I was thinking when he found out what I did. At least the station never found out what I did. I did use The Hand a couple times to erase space in front of the truck to get there faster. I guess I overshot and ended up crashing into the house that last time."

Kimiko just giggled as she heard the entire story of Rohan's house burning, she could just imagine an entire truck just crashing into the house as soon as it caught ablaze. "Well, I guess Rohan got his karma."

As they four of them were talking, Kimiko flapped her hands a little before stopping. "Oh? What was that?" Okuyasu asked. "Uh, nothing...? I'm not supposed to do it, that's all I'm going to say..." Kimiko stated, looking away. "I think it's called stimming. Kimiko, you can stim if you want, we're not going to judge you." Josuke commented

"You... you won't?" She asked. "Of course not. Why would we?" Koichi asked. "Well... Because of what happened before I moved here..." The girl said, looking away. "Oh... Do you want to talk about it?"

"Yes, if that's okay with you..."

-flashback-

It was three months ago in Tokyo. Kimiko's hair was different then it is now, mostly that it reached the middle of her back. She was sitting in the back of the classroom during the lunch break. She was cleared by her therapist to go to public school, which she was excited about. Wanting to make friends, she noticed a group of girls sitting together. One of the girls looked up, she was the leader of the friend group.

"Oh? Who's this?"

"Um... Hi, uh, I'm Kimiko, I don't know if you know but I sit over there and thought maybe we could be friends?" Kimiko stated awkwardly. The girl looked at her friend group before smirking a little. "Alright, but before you can officially join our group, you need to meet with us after school on the roof." The leader girl stated. Kimiko, unknowing of her smirk, stimmed a bit before going back to her seat.

Later that day, she arrived at the rooftop. She looked around as she waited, admiring the nets they had to put up for safety reasons/suicide prevention. Though she was snapped back into reality when she saw the group of girls. They had scissors and bottle of what looked like juice. "Hi, uh, why do you have scissors?" Kimiko asked before getting her answer.

Immediately the girls pinned her against the railing, snipping her hair until it was only shoulder length, it was a choppy job, uneven in some places. "H-hey!! Stop that!" She screamed, only to be met with juice being poured all over her. It was ice cold and overstimulated Kimiko.

"Why would we be friends with you? You're so weird." The leader of the girls sneered. "You're gonna learn your place here and if you do anything out of line, you'll lose something worse than your hair!"

Kimiko became nonverbal, slapping away the girls in anger. She could only scream and yell as she clawed at the leader of the gang. "Oh god! What is she, a cat?! This stupid bitch nearly clawed my eyes out!" The girl screamed, pushing her off. The tussle continued until Kimiko tumbled backwards onto the safety net.

The conflict got the attention of a janitor who stayed behind, realizing that Kimiko was about to fall off the building. By this point the girls didn't want to get in any trouble, so they made their way back down. Kimiko just screamed and sniffled as they left, whatever was left of her long hair was tangled up in the net and hurt her if she tried to pull away.

She couldn't believe why they would do this to her. She just wanted to be friendly with them and then they nearly pushed her off the building. She reached her arm up, biting it down hard.

At this point it was two hours since Kimiko was supposed to come home, since no one checked on her as she was tangled. This was concerning to her father so, thinking it was perfectly reasonable, called the school. "Hey, I was wondering if Kimiko was staying after school? She hasn't come home yet."

"Kimiko? Oh, I think she went to the roof, I overheard her talking to Kanon Sachiko earlier about meeting on the roof, so maybe they're still there. I'll go investigate and get back to you." A member of staff responded before hanging up. And before he knew it, Shinji got a call back. "Mr. Oshiberi you need to come to the school now, Kimiko is stuck in the suicide prevention net and won't calm down-"

"I'll be there asap." He started before rushing out of the house and towards the school. Running down the halls to the stairwell that led to the rooftop, he was met with a heart wrenching sight. His daughter, his only child, was stuck in a net, a foot of her hair missing, and she was covered in ants that were attracted to the juice she was covered with, which wasn't helping her overstimulation. Not to mention the bite mark she had on her arm.

"We'll have cut the knots; can you please calm her down?" A member of staff asked, which Shinji was more than willing to do. "How could anyone do this to my baby...?" He thought as he carefully held Kimiko, not caring about the ants. Once Kimiko was freed from the nets, she clung to him. "Papa..." was all she uttered, shivering in terror.

"Oh Kimiko... It's okay, I have you now." He shushed, keeping her close to his chest. He never let go, even when she was finally out. "Who did this to you? I will make sure they don't get away with this."

Kimiko didn't respond, she was still unable to speak from the shock, but Shinji had a feeling this was related to the Kanon girl she was meeting with earlier. "You won't have to go back to school, not after what happened." He assured to her; it broke his heart seeing his daughter this distraught just from her first day at a public school.

She shook her head, she wanted to stay in the public school, she hoped to finally meet a new friend. "I'll talk to your principal about what happened, surely they will do something about a girl being bullied until she almost died."

Kimiko just nodded, staying by her father as they left the school. "Are you able to speak now?" Shinji softly asked once they got back home.

"Y... Yes... These girls said they wanted to be my friend... Papa, why did they do this to me?"

"I... I don't know. You didn't deserve to be treated this way, you were always so kind and willing to help out."

"But they said I was weird."

"Well, they don't know what they're talking about. They just say that because they don't appreciate your talents." Shinji stated as he patted her head. "Now then, how about you get cleaned up and I'll make your favorite meal for dinner, Katsudon."

Kimiko smiled a little at the thought of her favorite meal. "Okay papa." She said as she went to shower. Though as he cooked he received an email from the principal. Apparently he was going to need to talk with them in person tomorrow. However, the meeting went a different direction.

"You're suspending Kimiko?!"

"Mr. Oshiberi please, calm yourself." The principle. "No! Why the hell is my daughter being suspended for defending herself?"

"There wasn't any proof that happened- "

"Oh is the foot of hair missing from her head not proof enough?" Shinji asked, starting to get pissed off. "She almost gouged someone's eye out, we can't have someone like that in our school."

"Well she wouldn't have needed to do that if those girls didn't nearly kill her! You should be suspending Kimiko's harassers."

"That's no excuse for Kimiko to do what she did. She'll issue an apology and-"

"Oh so now she's the one who has to apologize to the ones who traumatized her? That does it, I'm pulling her out of this school. I'll find another place which will meet my daughter's needs." Shinji growled. "You really have no shame for thinking Kimiko is the one to apologize when she's the victim."

The principal didn't have time to respond as Shinji hung up, he sighed at how frustrated he was at the staff. "It's clear she won't be safe if those girls keep attending... We might need to move, but I'm not sure where we can go."

A newspaper was on the table, one page was on how housing was at its cheapest in Morioh. "I don't think I've heard of this town before. If it's small and out of the way, Kimiko might be able to fit in there."

But now he had to break the news to Kimiko. He wanted her to be happy, but he also doesn't want something like that to happen again. So, knocking on her door. "Kimiko, we need to talk about something."

He entered once given the okay. "What is it Papa?" Kimiko asked. "Well, unfortunately... We're going to have to move. I know you really want to keep going to public school but, it would be best if maybe you didn't-"

"I'm sorry..." Kimiko apologized, "I'm sorry I couldn't be born normal..." She continued. "Hey, don't say that. You were born normal. You're just different and people don't see that as acceptable."

"But if I was normal, this wouldn't have happened..." She said, sighing. "... That wasn't your fault Kimiko, it was that girl, whatever her name is." Shinji stated, petting her head a bit. "Besides, being in a small town might be better for the both of us. I mean, I could finally get a good night's sleep." He joked a little, trying to lighten the mood. This seemed to work, as Kimiko had a little smile on her face.

-end of flashback-

"So, that's pretty much what happened. I mean, I still don't go to school in person but my papa was able to let me take classes from home." Kimiko said. The younger teens looked at her in shock. "You were almost pushed off a building!?" Josuke exclaimed, shocked.

"It was scary, I thought I was going to die that day." Kimiko mumbled. "I never had to worry about that again at least, but sometimes I still worry that someone might try that again. But I really want to go to school in person and make friends."

The trio felt bad for her, they didn't know how one person could go through all that torment and still live. "Well, we'll stick by you." Josuke promised. "No one's ever gonna bother you again."

"Yeah! We're your friends now, since we're all stand users here." Okuyasu added.

"And something like those girls did would be considered a crime, so you won't have to worry about a near death experience either." Koichi finished. "So, uh. We're friends?"

Kimiko finally smiled, knowing she now had a supper system if she ever goes back to a public school. "Aw thanks guys, how about a movie now?"

After the film, Okuyasu went home since he had to make sure to be home before Keichio noticed he wasn't there. "Alright, now I have to set up the guest room." Kimiko said before going.

Everything went well during the night, no one tried breaking in and no one attacked Kimiko. However, something happened in the morning. As Kimiko got up and got ready for the day, she noticed something in the bathroom. A green crown looking headband. "Huh? What's this doing in here? Did papa return from his date early?" She thought. She sighed, picking it up. "Guess papa's date left it here."

But something about this crown was oddly familiar, but she couldn't figure out why. That was until she greeted her father. "Oh, good morning Kimiko." Shinji said. "Morning papa-" She said before looking at him. Do You Want To Know A Secret was on so she could see everything cause she wanted to know who her dad had over. Who it was that shocked her. "Shinji Oshiberi, age 31, top secret: Had sex with Rohan Kishibe." She thought as she read it.

"Kimiko? Are you okay? Oh, by the way, are your friends still here? I want to know if they want breakfast or something before they go. Can you ask them?" Her father asked. "Uh, sure, uh... I'll go ask." She said awkwardly before entering the guest room. Both Koichi and Josuke were still asleep so it wouldn't be fair to wake them up to vent. With her built up emotions, she needed to let it out. She looked at her arm. She knew she should do that, it was a self destructive response but she needed to. Rolling up her sleeves, Kimiko bit hard into her arm, tears falling.

However, Josuke woke up and saw that Kimiko was in the room, and more importantly, that she was bleeding. "H-Hey, what's wrong?" He asked, startled that the first thing he saw in the morning was his new friend hurting herself. "Rohan fucked my papa...!"

"He what!? Oh boy when I get my hands on him I'll-" But before Josuke could finish his sentence, he realized he needed to bandage up Kimiko right this minute. He quickly got some tissues and wrapped them up into a makeshift bandage to absorb the blood then used crazy diamond to heal it. "We should tell your dad about what happened earlier."

"B-but what if Papa doesn't believe me? He loves Rohan probably; he would think I'm chasing his new boyfriend away." Kimiko mumbled, tugging at her sleeves from all the stress she was under.

"Hey... Hey... With how he was quick to defend you back at your old school, he's gotta put you first above everyone else." Josuke assured her, "we can vouch on your behalf. Besides, he probably used Heaven's Door to have his way with Mr. Oshiberi."

Kimiko slowly calmed, but still felt tense at the thought of bringing up that painful memory with her father. "Okay... But as long as you're there with me. Wait, I only found out because I used my stand to find out who he was dating... He would get suspicious if I told him I could read his mind, what if he disowns me? What if he thinks of me like a freak? What if... What if..."

By this point Koichi woke up, getting up to comfort the stressed-out girl. "You have his headband; we can say we recognized it. Don't worry, things are going to work out, he'll believe you. That's what a good dad does, put the needs of his kids before his own."

"Well... if you say so... Oh, also papa told me to ask if you guys wanted breakfast." She said since she remembered her main task. "Oh, no thanks, not really feeling hungry right now." Koichi said. Josuke also declined before they went to confront Kimiko's dad.

Shinji looked up at the teens and smiled at them. "Oh, good morning." He said. "Hey, Mr. Oshiberi, uh, we found something in your bathroom, did you happen to have Rohan here last night? He left his headband here." Josuke asked, placing the crownlike headband on the counter.

"Huh? Oh, well, um, yes, in a way. I guess I should give it back to him." The adult stated a blush forming on his face. "Well, there's something you should know about him. He attacked your daughter." The pompadoured teen stated. Shinji paused. "Are you serious?"

"Yeah, I saw it with my own eyes."

Hearing this, the adult started to look concerned and looked at Kimiko. "Is this true? Why didn't you tell me yesterday?" Her father asked. "It's true... I didn't tell you because I didn't want to ruin your date..." Kimiko admitted. "Kimiko, your safety is important to me, you need to tell me when things like that happen." Shinji said, petting her head a bit. "Still going to return this and give Rohan a piece of my mind."

Kimiko just stood there as her head was patted. "He's going to have to make a formal apology for this, if I had known sooner, I would have never agreed to go out with him." Shinji told her. "After that, we should go and do something together, just the two of us."

"R-really?" She asked.

"You deserve it after everything you went through yesterday. How about we try out some of the local eateries? Or perhaps just walk around this small town?"

"Yeah, I'd like that." Kimiko smiled, hugging him. "I love you, Papa."

"I love you too, Kimiko."
