"Kris wait!"

Kris turns towards the familiar voice of her friend Ralsei who was smiling like an idiot. "Kris! I made a cake for you and Susie! I really want you to try it! Hurry, Hurry!" Ralsei grabs Kris' hand but she doesn't move. Her eyes narrow down to the ground, her hand still held by Ralsei. Ralsei stops and looks back at Kris, who was looking at the ground intensely. She didn't want to leave just yet. Ralsei approached Kris, her hand still in his. "Kris? Is everything okay?" Kris nods and hugs Ralsei immediately. Ralsei yelps in surprise as Kris' hands grip on to him. Ralsei felt his cheeks instantly flush, he had never been this close to Kris before, apart from the occasional hugs that she would give him. But this felt different. Very different. Ralsei looks at Kris. He had always wondered what Kris' eyes looked like since she never showed them.

"Ralsei, you're warm. And it's cold."

Ralsei smiles. "The fur really comes in handy sometimes haha!" Kris looks at Ralsei smiling, her hand on his cheek. "I didn't just mean just physically. You're so sweet to everyone." The wind still blowing, making the dark world have a different aura about it.
Ralsei looked down, looking very flustered. He had seen her eyes for the first time. He never would've thought they would be red. But they were beautiful and Ralsei couldn't possibly lie about that. Ralsei looked around. It didn't normally have wind around Ralsei's castle but it was certainly evident today. "Maybe we should go inside, Kris. It seems certainly cold right now." Kris nods and follows Ralsei inside the castle.

Now the castle isn't that easy to navigate, especially when you've only been in it a couple of times. Ralsei had walked into one of the twisted hallways without Kris looking, so she had looked and looked. Where did Ralsei go? They check hallway after hallway. Nothing. Kris curses under her breath, her eyes glaring at the walls as if it was their fault that she was in that situation. "Ralsei?" Kris says in her quiet voice. No response.

Ralsei is behind Kris, smiling ear to ear. Nearly....there. He holds onto Kris' sides, causing her to yelp in surprise. "Boo!" Ralsei says, smiling. Kris looks at Ralsei, still shocked and gave him a look that evidently meant that it wasn't funny. "Aw, Kris. You have to admit that I did a good job scaring you." Kris sighs and smiles, she couldn't help but agree with him simply because he was cute saying that. His cuteness would be the death of her.
