FIFTEEN. i'm going down
MOON'S PARTY was a success... until it wasn't.
The police had been called and apparently Hawk was gonna kick Demetri's ass when school started back.
Which was today.
Just another school year and Rory still couldn't drive herself around. But, it was just another school year.
Rory stood by her locker, pulling textbooks out. She hadn't said much since the party, but she didn't bother to tell anyone how she felt either.
She didn't want pity in feeling the way she did and she wasn't going to prove Tory's point.
Rory held high praise for her father and disappointing him was the last thing she wanted to do.
"Excuse me? I'm new to this school. Can you help me find Miss. Santion's class?"
Rory turned and smiled, "I sadly cannot because I've never had her or seen her in my either life."
Robby smiled, "You seem to be feeling better."
"I'm okay. I promise."
Robby gave the girl a small smile and placed a gentle kiss onto her lips.
"I'll see you later, yeah?" Robby asked.
Rory nodded, giving him a smile as her made his was around to find Miss. Santion's class.
Soon, the bell rang and classes soon began, but Rory really had to go... to the bathroom.
Rory ventured the halls, the bathroom pass in her hands. She was on her way back to class, stumbling as she did so.
Her vision seemed to blur every now and then as she continued down the halls.
"Rory!"
She looked up and squinted, "Tory?"
The blonde made her way towards her, stopping her feet and grabbing the girl by the hem of her shirt.
She quickly slammed Rory into the lockers and Rory shut her eyes from the pain.
"You set me up. You knew that Miguel and Sam were kissing in that backyard, didn't you?"
"What— I... I don't know what you're talking about?"
Tory, once again, pulled Rory by her shirt and slammed the girl into the lockers.
"Don't bullshit me, Brewer." Tory seethed, "You and your best friend from that shitty dojo knew how to spite me. All because I made fun of you? That's low, Brewer."
Rory finally mustered up enough strength to push Tory off of her.
Tory removed the spiked bracelet from her wrist and moved it into her hands.
Without a word, Tory swung, hitting Rory in her face, literally slashing the girl's skin.
Rory stumbled back, holding her face in her hands and removing it slowly with shaking hands.
Blood sat upon her fingertips and she finally looked up at Tory.
"Tory..." Rory slurred, "I... I don't know what you're... talking about."
The commotion was loud enough for people to start peaking out of the classrooms and forming a circle around the two.
Belle pushed her way towards the front of the crowd with Robby and Sam following behind.
"Aurora!"
She turned at the sound of her name and when she wasn't focused on Tory, the girl made her way towards her, kneeing her in her stomach and slamming her roughly into the locker.
"You're dead to me, Brewer."
Tory finally let go of Rory's shirt and the brunette fell to the ground, her eyes shut, and limped over.
Sam stepped forward, declaring the she was the one that she was after and not Rory and a fight broke out between them.
Belly, as much as she tried, moved towards Rory, who sat down on the ground. She held Rory's chin within her hand and moved the girls head to have to girl look directly at her.
But Rory's eyes remained shut, she didn't move, and her chest was slowly rising up and down.
"Shit." Belly turned, "Robby!"
He slid down next to the girls, Belly telling him to pick Rory up from the ground and move her towards a safer spot as she called her parents.
He gently as Rory down on one of the vacant couches and returned to the fight to see if he could break it up, but instead, it turned into a full on war.
LAYLA BREWER sat in her office as she picked some of the photos that would be finalized from her photoshoot.
Her phone rang from beside her and she picked it up, furrowing her brows as Belle's name flashed across the screen.
"Hello?" Layla spoke.
Belle's voice was rushed and soon it was silent. She could hear Belle swearing and shouting at Robby to stop running.
"Belle?"
Layla stood to her feet, grabbing her keys from the nearby table and slipping a random pair of shoes on.
"Belle, sweetheart, I need you to talk to me." Layla softly spoke.
"Holy shit! Holy shit!" Belle cried on the phone, "Mom! There— There was a fight at school! And Rory was— I don't know! She was slammed into the lockers! And— And she passed out! She won't wake up! And there's this—"
"Belle—"
"Mom, please... just come to the school! They're taking Miguel and Rory in the ambulance."
Layla rushed out of her office. Jack turning at the sound of Layla's feet hitting the ground.
"Layla?"
"They're taking Aurora to the hospital!"
Jack jumped from the couch, picking up his slides from the door and he and Layla rushed out with Belle still on the phone.
They soon arrived at the hospital, rushing inside and finding Belle sitting outside of Aurora's room.
She tried her best to explain what had happened but she was crying.
Aurora laid in the hospital bed, she looked peaceful. She had stitches on her cheek.
She wasn't the only one in the hospital. Sam was there for her own stitches on her arm and Miguel had been kicked from the railing of the the staircase of the school by Robby who had fled from the fight.
"I assume you're Aurora's parents."
Layla and Jack turned. The doctor have them a soft smile and continued.
"From what you're other daughter has told me, Aurora had already been having dizzy spells and blurred vision?"
"She said it had stopped."
"Well, that might've contributed to her concussion."
"Concussion?" Jack questioned.
"Has she had any head trauma prior to this?" The doctor asked.
"She said she hit her head on a table at the mall—"
"When was that?" Layla asked.
"She had a small contusion from repeatedly hitting the same spot on her head." The doctor explained, "It would've been nothing more than a bruise if she didn't continue to hit near or on the same spot on different occasions. From what you're daughter explained to us is that a girl a school had a weapon of sorts, which explains the stitches and was slammed into lockers with extreme force."
"How long do you think she'll... be this way?" Layla asked.
The doctor sighed, "24 hours... maybe a little longer but it's probably best to keep her here for a couple of days in case she might have some deteriorating symptoms. But, she should be fine."
Layla and Jack thanked the doctor as she left, looking over at Rory one more time.
How the hell did they end up here?
