I threw a party for him to celebrate his arrival here years ago. (That's what they call it here ~ arrival). He didn't like it very much and said some guru words. I think it might have been something about how he didn't want a party celebrating him when there were so many other people who arrived on that day. So we didn't have a party and he settled for cake.

This year I'm going to do something different. He says he doesn't want a party, so I will do the next best thing, something he will approve of. Me, Tom, and Roy will serenade him! He can't turn that down because we're so talented. We will knock his socks off with our extreme talent.
