Dear John, my parents are in two different religions and churches communities. At the moment, I am trying to figure out what to believe in spiritually. I really want to go to my dads church but my mother would be heart broken if I did. My dad is open minded about what I wish to do. I'm too scared to hurt peoples feelings and high expectations of me. What should I do ?

Perhaps you could try attending each of the churches for a week to see which religion you want to pursue. First think of your own personal beliefs and then think of your family. You should make your decision on what religion speaks to you, not what your parents will think. I once thought of joining a Martian cult and I only thought of what I wanted to do, not what Paul, George, and Ringo were saying. They were calling me bonkers the whole time.

Just keep your interests and values in mind. It's good to make your family happy, but think of yourself first.
