We find Spider-man as Chicago as he is stuck onto the wall od the building while looking at the veiw. He stare at the veiw in peace when Hawkgirl fly over then ask him.

Hawkgirl: You good?

Spider-man: Oh yeah I'm good. Boy it sure is warm together.

Hawkgirl: Yeah it sure is.

Spider-man: So is there any problem?

Hawkgirl: No I just......I heard what happen at New York and about this Green Goblin.

Spider-man: Guess batman told you huh?

Hawkgirl: Yeah.

Spider-man: Well I'm okay now. Although still hurt but I'm good.

Hawkgirl: If you say so.

Spider-man: So what does it feel like having wings?

Hawkgirl: Pretty normal to me. (Smirk) Jealous that you don't have wings?

Spider-man: Who needs wings when you have webs.

Hawkgirl: (light giggle) True.

Spider-man: Say, wanna have a race? Bet you can't catch up with me.

Hawkgirl: (smirk) You dare to challenge me to a race?

Spider-man: Oh yeah I am.

He then leaps off the building and then Web swings through the city. Hawkgirl smirks then flies after him. And soon flies up next to him.

Hawkgirl: So where do we have our finishing line?

Spider-man: Um at the other side of the city. First one to get there wins.

Hawkgirl: (smirk) You're on.

She then flies ahead while Spider-man swings harder. Although Hawkgirl is faster she has to avoid the tall buildings and build boards while Spider-man just parkour them throw as he go through gasps and small spaces.

After navigation through the city he made it at the other side first then soon after Hawkgirl flies over and lands on hee feet.

Hawkgirl: You are good at getting through small obstacles easy.

Spider-man: Thanks to all the training.

Hawkgirl smirks a bit then Spider-man sat down follow by Hawkgirl as they sat down and they chatted.

Hawkgirl: Hey, you ever think about joining the Justice League?

Spider-man: (bit surprise) What? Me?

Hawkgirl: (smile) I mean you did save us from that hunter villain, not to mention saving Batman twice which is......a surprise for a young hero like you. You got any idea how surprising it is for a young hero to save Batman twice? Even Plastic Man is impress.

Spider-man: Has Batman been capture often?

Hawkgirl: It's rare and most times either us or his bat family would rescue him, not a young new hero like you or your team.

Spider-man: Huh...Well as for joining not too sure. It would be awesome but I don't want my team to be left out.

Hawkgirl: Maybe but who knows. You're already be talked about by other hero's within the community and some would suggest that you will become a member of the Justice League. Heck, you can still lead your team while as a member.

Spider-man: Maybe, but I have a lot to learn in order to be a great hero.

Hawkgirl: (smile) I understand.

Then Hawkgirl take his hand while he turn to her as Hawkgirl smiles a bit and stare at him.

Hawkgirl: (smile) You really are incredible when you first rescue us from Kraven. I bet one day you'll do the same ans this time you'll show the world who you are.

Spider-man: Thanks.

Hawkgirl smile then pull him over and hug him. Her wings cover Y/n as the two embrace each other then they look at each other with their heads getting close when they were interrupt by Flash speeding in.

Flash: There you are! I've been looking for you Hawkgirl.

They turnnto Flash which he notice him thus he wave.

Flash: (smile) Oh what's up Spider-man. Nice seeing you. Did I.....interrupt something?

Spider-man: (blush) Oh no no we were just chatting.

Hawkgirl: Yeah. So why are you here Flash?

Flash: The watch tower has detected something approaching Earth. It looks like a small fleet. Here, take a look.

He pulls out the data pad and when they looo at it they see a few dots heading towards Earth.

Spider-man: Are they friendly?

Flash: Unknown but Batman has some ideas. Hm, looks like the first fleet arrive on Earth's orbit.

Then the screen shows the ships coming into orbit. Hawkgirl had a surprise expression on her face which Spider-man notice so he ask.

Spider-man: You okay?

Hawkgirl: I know that fleet.

Suddenly the ground beneath them begins to shake ans they look up to see a shuttle above them and soon begins landing. Citizens watch the ship land with a few taking some pictures as the ship soon lands in front of them.

Flash ams Spider-man were ready for a possible invasion when Hawkgirl tells them.

Hawkgirl: Stand down you two. They are not here to harm us.

They were confuse but watch as the shuttle doors came down and to thwie surprise humanoid warriors that have wings like Hawkgirl came out.

They walk out then stood at attention. Then they walk as what looks like their leader came out. He step out of the shuttle then walks down the ramp then stood in front of them.

Flash: Looks like he's their leader.

Spider-man: Yeah, I think so as well.

Hawkgirl: (salute) Sir.

???: Shayera, good to see you okay.

Flash: Wait? You know this guy?

Hawkgirl:.......Yes. he's the high ranking General of the Thanagarian military. Katar Hol....my husband.

Spider-man: (surprise) Your husband?

Hawkman: Or you can call me Hawkman. Shayera has told us about your planet and we have came here for important business.

Spider-man: Ans what would that be?

Hawkman: Sorry but you are too young to know what is going on.

Flash: Now hang on here you got no idea what he's-

Hawkgirl: It's okay.

Hawkman: Shall we?

Hawkgirl nodes and then they climb into the shuttle with their guards following inside while Flash and Spider-man watch them leave to speak with the government.

Flash: You got any idea what just happen.

Spider-man: I'm just as confuse as you are man.

(Later)

Back at New York we see Y/n ans his team gather at the TV of a news where Hawkman talks about their never lasting war and Earth is being target by their enemy and they have come here to defend them. He also explains that Hawkgirl was there spy to gather information about Earth so they can be prepare for theie arrival so they can make peace.

Petra: So Hawkgirl was a spy this whole time?

Gwen: I didn't see that coming.

Ava: So what are our thoughts? Think we should trust them?

Cindy: I'm not too sure. I mean they did sent Hawkgirl as a spy and feed them info about our planet.

Petra: But on the other hand they did warn us about a threat coming and be willing to set up a defence. Right Uncle Ben?

They all tuen to Ben as he stare at the TV then he says.

Ben: It depends on if their goal is something for the great of good. If I know anything about war, there are no good or evil in war. There is only the middle.

Petra: Right.

Then Mary Jane walks in then tells them.

Mary: Hey, have you all seen-

But she then see them watching the news which she says.

Mary: Oh, never mind then guess you all are already watching it now.

Y/n: You have your thoughts about this?

Mary: Well I'm a bit....suspicious. Not sure what but something about them isn't right.

Gwen: Well only one way to find out.

Mary: Yeah. Well I gonna go, see you all.

She leaves and once she's gone they continue watching the news while Y/n is a bit conflicted by this. Soon night came and we see Y/n on the balcony looking out of the veiw when his spidy senses kick in and he turn to see Hawkgirl now wearing a tradition Thanagarian armor.

Y/n: You look cool.

Hawkgirl: Thanks. So, I guess you saw the news.

Y/n: Yeah. You are a spy?

Hawkgirl: I know it sounds wrong but we did have a choice.  We have been fighting the Gordanians for years and your planet was about target. All we want is to protect your world so it will not fall.

Y/n: What about the league? What did they think?

Hawkgirl: They were mix but I convince them and they are willing to help make a generator that can protect your planet.

Y/n: Well if the League is helping out, I guess we are fine.

Hawkgirl: Yeah. Hey, i came here to apologise for not telling you I'm a spy.

Y/n: It's okay. I'm glad you are doing this just to protect us. Even if you have to lie.

Hawkgirl: (smirk) Please, Batman lie more than me.

Y/n: Is that true?

Hawkgirl: That's what Nightwing told me.

Y/n: (smirk) And how do you know he's telling the truth?

Hawkgirl: (smirk) Good point.

The two laugh a bit then Hawkgirl place her hand onto his shoulder then tells him.

Hawkgirl: (smile) Thanks for understanding. I promise as soon our battle comes to the end, we will leave.

Y/n: That includes you?

Hawkgirl:.....Yes. My job as a spy is done and.....no point of me staying here. Once the battle is over I'll go with them to continue our war.

Y/n: Okay. Well it's nice meeting you Hawkgirl.

Hawkgirl: (smile) Same to you, Spider-man.

She then hugs Y/n which he hugs back and after that she flies away. Y/n heads back inside while Hawkgirl flies off. She had a sad expression when she is stopped by Hawkman.

Hawkman: I see you have an attachment with that human?

Hawkgirl: He's a good friend.

Hawkman: Is that so? He's just a young human that isn't powerful. You know that because you mention him when he foolishly saved you.

Hawkgirl: He may not be as powerful but he has a strong will and has compassion.

Hawkman: Compassion doesn't belong in war. If he continues his way then he would easily die.

Hawkgirl turns away while Hawkman grab her chin ans turn it towards him. He was about to kiss her when she stops him and tells him.

Hawkgirl: We should focus on our mission.

Hawkgirl flies away while Hawkman watch her the turns to the Parkee Industries and has a jealous look them replies.

Hawkman: Of course, we have a job to do.
