POV Hiccup

“Marc, behave!” I see how he just grabbed Merida’s crossbow.  His eyes were shining from excitement. “This is pro! RIGHT?” He turned it around in the air and looked up every corner. “Hands off!” Merida grasped her crossbow back. “Nice friends you have,” she murmured.

“Help a bro out!” I told Marc and then he helped me to drag Ma’ inside the diner. “So how’s work?” I asked from him. “Nice but customer’s run out after seeing the news. Those people didn’t even pay!” He sounded extremely bothered. “Yeah, too bad,” I patted his shoulder.

“Stop chit chatting you two!” Merida snapped. “Yes, we kind of need some help,” Punzie was moving restlessly. “Oh, yeah!” I turned my head back to Marc and I saw him confused. “So you have your own harem now? NICE!” He smirked and I shook my head. “No, could you lend me a hand? A guy got hurt and is still laying near the road. Two of us stayed with him,” he chuckled. “Hell yea I will!”

He ran to his kitchen and in a blink of an eye he returned. He had his belt around him. It was no ordinary belt, it was his special made knife belt. He is the cook and super good with his knives and does hell good food. However he just keeps this diner few miles away from the city even though he got a job offers from high end restaurants. “Let’s go Hic!”

Just when we stepped outside we heard Punzie squealing, “Oh! You’re awake Ma’!” A loud throat sound was now filling the diner and I turned around with Marc. Just then Punzie started to scream. Ma’ was sitting on the table with her eyes blank looking, snapping her jaw. She fell to ground and was crawling towards Punzie who was frozen to her spot.

Just when I reached my back pocket with my spray can to light things up I saw how Marc run forward waving his knives. Looking excited, laughing. He sliced Ma’ so many times that she was now unrecognisable. “Ma’! Gothel!” Punzie was sobbing while holding her hands in front of her mouth. Marc just pierced Ma's head. “How did that happen!” Merida stared at the corpse.

I went to it. “We may find a cause if we examine her,” I lifted Ma’s hand. “Let go, I will do it!” Punzie snapped and kneeled next to her. “She looks just fine except..” She pointed at the cuts in her skin. “Well, doh! Sorry! Just saved your ass,” Marc rolled eyes. “Yeah,” Punzie whispered and unwrapped Ma’s hand. She gasped.

“What?” Merida asked quickly and soon we saw how she was pointing at Ma’s hand. It had a bite mark that was looking really nasty. In the middle it was black but white was spreading from its edges. “Marc? Do you still have our humvees on the back yard?” He laughed, “Yeah I do! Here are your keys mister!” He went to drawer and took a set of keys from there. He threw them to me and I watched the keychain of a black dragon. Toothless was licking my hand.

POV Jack

“Drag him!” Words sounding from faraway. The scent of bitter smoke that stings my nose and I feel sick. My head is beating like a heart except it hurts like hell. “We are still too close!” I am starting to feel pressure on my shoulders, something pinching me. Dizziness makes it hard to open my eyes. Slowly I open them and see how a platinum haired woman is leaning over me, her hands are beneath my left arm and there is other girl who does the same to my right arm. Their faces are turned away from me, to the direction where they’re dragging me. I watch straight ahead and see how flames are licking the sky. There is an SUV in full flames.

“We need to get him to safety!” The platinum haired girl sounds desperate and she trips in the mud where they’re pulling me. I touch my head and something warm and sticky gets into it. Vivid red blood is what I see when I take my hand in front of my face.

“Ouch!” I moan when they dragged me over a tree’s root. Immediately they turned around. “Jack!” Now I remember, she is Elsa and that is Alexa. We were in a car, I glance at it. Yup, the car is on fire. They dropped me to ground. “Walk mister!” Elsa snapped at me but her voice had a trace of being worried. I saw how she carefully watched as I stood up. My legs almost gave in but then I was feeling better. For a small moment I felt Elsa’s hands giving me support. “I’m alright,” I whispered.

I watched around me. “Where are the others?” I gasped, “Don’t tell me that?” I stared at the burning car. “No! They’re alright! They went to look for help!” Alexa said cheerfully. I sighed from relief and then we all fell down when a loud BANG made our ears ring. The car had just exploded. The road was filling with those monsters that slowly came towards us. Grunting and moaning. “We seriously need to leave,” I said with my eyes wide when over ten of those things had their attention on us.

“To woods!” Alexa yelled and we run. “Aah!” Elsa screamed, she wasn’t that fast runner. I fell down when I quickly stopped my movement. She had one of those undead blocking her way and she couldn’t go back either. She was cutting head off from the one standing in front of her. I tried to yell her about the things that were coming behind of her. She couldn’t hear since there were still explosions coming from the car, some small ones and then bigger.

“Elsa!” I yell and I realize that I need to go to her. Quickly I took a branch from ground which I used to beat them down. Those two undead things were laying beneath me as I pushed them against the ground. The branch I used to keep them down by pushing it against their throats as hard as I could. “Cut their heads off!” I hissed to Elsa as those things tried to get up. Now she woke up from her daze and killed those things.

“Huh! This thing is handy!” I watched the branch closer. It actually was more like a staff since it was long and almost straight. Its other was shaped like a G. “Finders keepers!” I smiled and Elsa rolled her eyes and pulled me from my collar. “Let’s go annoyance!”

Alexa shot those things with her shotgun. Bam,bam, bam. One by one heads exploded. Who is she? Her aim is perfect. “Hey! I hear something!” We watched towards the road from between the trees. Light beam was coming behind of a curve from the road. “Car!” Alexa yelled and ran. She wasn’t fast enough so I ran in front of her.

I slided down a small hill leading to the road and right in the middle of the road. Gladly the humvee stop before hitting me. “Are you crazy!” Elsa yelled after me and the cars doors opened. It was Hiccup, “Dude! Not cool!” He exhaled and another humvee came next to it. “Oh! Marc drove in!” Hiccup smiled and we saw how a guy stepped out.

“Hey! I heard in the radio that there is safe zone in next city. Want to come?” Marc was excited but Hiccup shook his head. “I want to visit my bunker, there is lots of useful stuff,” he looked at us. “You can choose your humvee ride! This one-,” he patted the roof of his car, “ - goes to the city in here.”

Merida yelled from the car, “I stay in Hiccup’s car. He said that he has bolts!” Punzie yelled from the back also, “And a nice renovated kitchen!” We all watched her surprised. I saw how Alexa went o Marc’s car, “I need to get away from the city, “ she smiled.

My attention was on Elsa. She was looking at the ground. “What you choose?” I asked her and she looked at me with nervous eyes. “Can’t I go alone?” I shook my head to her and she sighed. “Well, arming up sounds like a plan,” she said and went inside to Hiccup’s car. “Bye!” I waved my hand to Marc and Alexa who speeded off to the direction where they just came. We were heading back to town after I had sat on the seat. Hiccup took us on smaller roads to avoid the cars that blocked the streets.

POV Hiccup

“What is that?” I glanced to rear mirror and saw reflection of Jack holding a stick. “Found a staff,” he responded simply. “He is REALLY fond of it,” Elsa murmured and I saw Jack smiling. “Umm.. Where is that lady?” Elsa looked behind of her but only saw Toothless sleeping on the trunk space.

“She turned to one of those things,” Merida whispered. “I think that the bites cause it,” I told them. “So don’t let them bite or even scratch you.” Everyone nodded to me and the car went silent. The radio had stop working a while back.

A familiar sign passes us. “Hey! We are here!” I yell in excitement. My city, my hoods. “So, don’t freak out when we’re at my home. It is in certain area and the house is kind of unique,” my shoulder’s drop. “Haha! Yeah! Some rickety piece of house!” Merida mocked me. Oh if she would just know.

I drove to my street and to a garage. “Whoa! You live here?” Jack gasped as we had driven inside of a sky builder. “Yup, I do,” I said while I opened the car door. “This is scary,” Punzie whispered when three thugs surrounded us. “Take it easy,” I told them and they backed off.

“Who were they?” Elsa asked. “They’re my dad’s guards. This place is safe for now but I hate it here,” I pushed a remote control’s button and soon elevator came down. We all stepped in and I squeezed my helmet in my hands. I hate it here. Toothless is growling restlessly next to me and I pat its head. Everyone else seems also nervous but not as much as I am.

POV Jack

Bling. The elevator doors open to highest floor. “So you had power in here still?” I walk inside the apartment. “Own generator,” Hiccup sounds unhappy. Punzie goes to a table filled with pictures. “Umm..Hiccup?” She whispers. “Yeah?” Hiccup is facing her and has just moved a painting aside. He has revealed a secret looking number plate which he is pressing. He is putting a code in it. “You are not from mafia, are you?”

We all are now watching at the pictures. They’re all wearing black and holding guns. On the table is some sort of torturing set. Needles, wax sticks and lighters plus many knives, all stained in blood. Hiccup is not looking at us. “Well, my dad is sort of the boss in here,” we stared at the weird guy in misbelieve. “Don’t worry, I am no part of it, “  he turned around smiling. “I want to be a police officer!” He laughed and pressed the final button. A beep came out from it and the wall moved. “The bunker!” Hiccup spread his arms in the air and walked in.

We went inside right after him. Merida squealed which made me glance at Elsa quickly. She was looking at me with almost similar surprise in her look. Merida was already going through Hiccup’s collection of bolts and packing them up. Punzie found a similar looking knife belt that I noticed Marc having. Then she ran to kitchen and took a frying pan, “This makes everything go down!” She said happily.

“I will choose a flame thrower, how about you Jack?” Hiccup smiled to me. “I will be fine with this!” I raised my staff sideways to air and made few moves with it like I had done many times with my Japanese style sword lessons. Elsa was just standing in the corner. “What will you take?” She startled when I got to her. “I don’t know. Perhaps nothing?” I shook my head to tell her that nothing is not the right answer.

I saw a weapon closet, perhaps there are guns. I opened the closet and there truly was a wide range of weapons. I took a silver weapon out and take it to Elsa. “This might be ok for you?” I gave it to her and she tried it out. A nod of approval was all that I managed to get out from her when we heard a yell at the door.

“Hiccup Haddock!” a girl came inside looking furious. “How dare you to show up!” She was hissing. “Who is that? I whispered to Hiccup before the woman reached us. “My ex, Astrid,” he sounded terrified and we all backed up against the wall when Astrid came to us giving threats to cut his fingers off one by one and other nasty stuff. Even the dog was hidden almost behind of us and whining.
