Id been looking around for a while now. I didn't know where the sudden sound came from. I stood up and walked to the wall of ice that Maddy always placed to help protect everyone. I peered through the ice and saw a strange figure outside with some type of bundle. I then heard crying, like a baby's cry when it's in need of something like food or warmth.

"Guys! Get up!" i yelled at them all.

"What is it!?" Bailey asked.

"Is it a monster?" Maddy asked.

"Or maybe hunters?" Asked Danielle.

"Is it landon?" Emily asked.

"Its a baby." i said to them.

"A baby?" everyone but Alaric asked.

Danielle melted the ice and sure enough, there was a small baby in a bundle of blankets. It's face was pale as snow and it's lips were icy blue. I quickly grabbed the child and came back into the cave, holding the child close to try to warm it up. Bailey and Alaric made a fire, Danielle and Maddy went back to sleep and so did Emily. Me, Alaric, and Bailey were left awake with the baby. It look so fragile and small.

"Who would leave such a young child out in the cold?" Alaric asked.

"Someone who doesn't care about it." Bailey told him.

"Never the less, I'll take care of it. I'm the one who saw it in the first place, its my responsibility now." i told them.

"You don't know if its a boy or girl, let alone it's name." Bailey said.

"Then we'll find out when we give it a bath." i told them.

"We? What do you mean when you say 'we'?" Alaric asked.

"I'll be its mother. You boys don't have to help raise, be glad neither are my boyfriend." i told them.

[Btw, i have a bf irl so that little dialogue piece Luna said isn't meant to be mean or anything to my bf.]

We decided that i would be the child's mother and that everyone would help out. In the morning, we would tell the girls about what me and the boys were talking about. If it was a boy, Bailey would teach it how to fight. If it was a girl, i would teach it how to defend its self from predators.

It turned out that the baby was a girl and a werewolf. I had named her Dawn. Maddy and Danielle seemed to like to play with her and do did Emily and Bailey. Alaric didn't really like to, though.

"Luna, how old do you think Dawn is?" Maddy asked me.

"Probably around a year old." i replied.

"She could be. How did you come up with the name 'Dawn' anyways?"

"I found her as I was waking up at dawn. It makes sense." i said.

"That does make sense. Anyways, what are you gonna do later?"

"I don't know, maybe play with Dawn or something." i told her.

"I could babysit Dawn for you and you can go hunting with Bailey." Maddy offered.

"No, that's OK. I would rather hang out with Dawn than to go hunting." i told her.

"Luna, you need to go hunting." Emily told me.

"She's right." Alaric said.

After everyone telling me to go hunting, i gave in and went out to kill an animal. I soon had found a buck and doe with their fawn but i couldn't bring myself to hurt the fawn. I shifted into my wolf and just watched the deer. The buck kept a look out as the doe and fawn ate grass. The deer soon left. Shifting back into my human form, i started to think about my parents and how they had protected me. Celestia wasn't there for my whole life, my parents have been dead for a few months, and now hunters are hunting me and my friends down. Did i miss anything? I don't think i did.

A howl was sounded from the cave and i could smell smoke. I used my vampire speed to get to the cave as fast as i could but i was to late. The cave was engulfed in flames. I could hear Dawn crying and Maddy screaming for Danielle to stop the fire. Bailey, Emily, and Alaric were trying to put out the fire with water. Without thinking, i charged into the cave full of flames. I found Maddy and Dawn in a corner under a shield of ice that was melting away and Danielle was trying to stop the fire. I told danielle to get out and she did. I went over to Maddy and Dawn and right as i did, i rock fell onto Maddy's head. I grabbed her and dawn and got out of the cave. Once i emerged outside, Bailey grabbed Maddy from me and Emily was tending to some burns on Danielle's arms. Alaric came over to me and took Dawn, bringing her to everyone else.

"How did the fire start?" i asked.

"Excuse me?" asked Emily.

"How did that fire in the cave start!" i yelled.

"It was my fault. I was showing Dawn some fire tricks and i did one that went out of control." Danielle said, panicking.

Emily slapped Danielle across the face. No one did anything. Emily started to scold Danielle while the boys took care of Dawn and Maddy, who was unconscious.

"We need to put this fire out." i muttered.

"Luna, its destroyed." Alaric said.

"My family is destroyed, my life os destroyed. That cave isn't destroyed!" i yelled at him. I could feels tears forming in my eyes and i tried to blink them away.

"Alaric, let her think." Bailey told him.

Emily was yelling at Danielle, Maddy was unconscious, alaric and Bailey are trying to wake up maddy. I started pacing back and forth and had started pulling my own hair in frustration. I didn't know what to do...
