Reuben watched Gabriel make the announcement at Magnus and Ellegaard's wedding party. He was going to do a speech to wish them good luck in the future. Magnus had proposed to Ellie shortly after Ender became Emily again. Now she was a flower girl in a little red dress next to her father. It seemed like nothing could go wrong now! Ellegaard looked dazzling in her bride's dress, Axel had become best man, and Olivia was bridesmaid along with Petra and Jess. Even the Sky City royal family came for a visit. Well, it wasn't Sky City anymore. Reuben had suggested to Isa that they call it Earth City. "Alright, now we have up next with a little surprise, Reuben Faldara!" Gabriel waved Reuben onto the stage. He had shifted into his human form to give the speech.

"Hey, can everyone hear me? Good, because I don't want anybody thinking I said "Get stuck" instead of "Good luck"!" Reuben joked, and a bit of laughter swept through the crowd. "Now I want to share something with you. Love is used in two ways. Number one is the false way. People often just get together for the fun of it, just for the experience of having a partner, and they often then throw it away just like that and never think twice, like it was just a game to play. When people do that, they're abusing the emotions that come with love, such as joy, comfort, bliss, pain, passionate anger, and other experiences that will pull you closer to the one you care about. When they're abused, it drives you further apart. Number two is the true way. When we say 'true love', does that necessarily mean the kind that you are crazy about? No, it means that you are sure of your feelings for a person, and you are willing to go forward with it to the end, instead of just stopping halfway through and saying "Well I've had enough, bye see you later and that was fun!" like that. When we use true love instead of false love, we will be much happier and half of the sadness in the world will be gone out of our lives. Love will allow you to see it's beauty if you are going to use it right. Which is why I'm congratulating Magnus and Ellegaard for using love the right way, and I'm hoping that they will enjoy the romantic road they are taking and that they will never stray. Thank you." Reuben got off the stage, but not before he set his eyes on someone. She had dark shoulder-length hair, misty grey eyes, a white maiden's dress down to her feet, and a yellow and red necklace. She gave him a small wave and mouthed "Hi!". She was one of the prettiest girls Reuben had ever seen. Ellegaard was crying tears of joy at the speech, and everyone else was clapping and cheering. "Reuben, that was beautiful!" Olivia complemented. "Yeah, did you seriously make that all up yourself?" Axel congratulated. "Mom, Dad, who's that girl over there?" Reuben pointed at the dark-haired girl. "Actually, I've never seen her before. Perhaps she's with Isa?" Lukas suggested. Reuben couldn't help feeling strange when he saw the girl.

"So, Benedict, are you enjoying this?" Milo asked the girl. She nodded in response. She had recently been able to shapeshift from chicken to person. Why? They had no idea, but Benedict was determined to enjoy her chance at having fingers and whatnot. She was moved by that boy's speech. His name was... Reuben or something like that? Anyway, he was kinda cute with that speech of his. But she didn't really have any interest in boys. "Now, up next, Benedict Skydrome!" Gabriel was trying not to laugh at her name. In Sky City, Benedict was a boy and girl's name, but on the ground it was different. Lukas is just lucky that he didn't know in Sky City Lukas is a girl's name! Benedict got up on stage and began.

Benedict continued her song, and Reuben was completely star-struck by her voice. It was beautiful alright, just perfect. She could hit every note without trouble that she sounded like she was going over the top, but she actually wasn't putting in that much effort. It was just one of her talents. When you were the mother of so many mobs, it was nice to sing to them before Isa slayed them for resources. Benedict could also summon magic spawn eggs. But to be honest it upset her that her kids had to be killed like that. She wanted the chance at being a mom for more then five minutes. But then again she was a bit young, even in chicken years. Magnus and Ellegaard danced with everyone else to Benedict's wonderful voice. Reuben felt a small few tugs at his chest. He liked this girl. He wanted to get to know her better. He wanted to be her friend, maybe something more...

Crash!

A boy around Reuben and Benedict's age came falling through the sky and slammed into the stage. Benedict stopped singing and everyone stared at the arrival. Jess helped him up. "Are you alright?!" she asked. The boy grabbed her shoulders. "Jess we need your help fast! We don't have much time he's real!" the boy almost passed out with panic. "Whoa, hey, what's wrong?" Lukas asked slowly. The boy looked at them with a frightened expression.

"It's me, Winslow! And Cassie's in danger!"
