There's a new arrival in Beauvais Heights. Dr Una told us all about her. Her name is Prue Pepper and she's a piece of work, as well as being the up-coming boss of the TV station: Channel One, the One and Only One. Apparently she arrived at the offices of Channel One, the One and Only One, with great flourish and fanfare. Dr Una said she got her information from her sister Dr Ina, so I guess our info is a bit second hand, but it's pretty accurate. If Dr Ina is to be believed, then Prue is a super confident, tough, pushy and glamorous business woman, with an eye for the men. Apparently she flung open the door of the station office, and said:

     I'm here to makeover this television station and no-one's going to stand in my way,'

then demanded to see the general manager. Not wanting to cross someone as fierce and important-looking as Prue, the girl on reception let her right in, so the GM had no choice. She was fired for it afterwards. Most women don't like Prue.

Guess where she's living ;in a house slap-bang next door to Col Sidney. Of course Col being the real-estate entrepreneur and ladie's man that he is, saw to it that she lived next door to him, so he could add her to his harem list. In fact we believe that he's put her at the top of this list. Most people know he has a queue a kilometre long waiting for him to call  them. Some would even settle for a text. We've heard it said that Delfine wanted to be included, but she's permanently at the end of the line.

We hear that Prue Pepper lost no time in knocking on Col's door, luring him in to her place with a bottle of super-expensive Champagne and a low cut dress. She probably grabbed him by the neck tie, the way they do in movies. How obvious can you be, but doesn't seem like she's the quiet type. Col lost no time either in accepting the invitation and it was only when his youngest daughter Sunni knocked on Prue's door to ask when he was going to come home and put her to bed and Col was in the middle of leaning in to kiss Prue, that the evening drew to a close.

Prue doesn't like children and was really bummed that Sunni interrupted what was promising to be a great evening. Prue gritted her teeth, smiled one of her famous fake smiles and told Sunni to go back home and Daddy would be along soon. She lowered her voice and muttered;

   'and maybe he'll smother you, you spoilt little brat.' Prue was further angered when Col followed Sunni back to his house and didn't bother to return; not even ring or text.

We also got some more info by eavesdropping on Rubi-Redd and Leanne's conversations at Delfine's. You have to be really careful when doing this Stace tells me, as Rubi is almost paranoid about people listening to her and Leanne, and they're always gossiping. Stace usually has to pretend to be concentrating hard on her work.

Anyway, while Prue was drinking champagne with Col, to celebrate her new home, she let out a few secrets. She intended to fire quite a lot of the useless people at Channel One and she wanted to put real meaning into the slogan Channel One, the One and Only One.

She was prepared to shout, kick backsides and get people to do some actual work. She'd be the new broom and rattle cages and she didn't care if staff didn't like it. Dr Una told us that the expression 'new broom' means someone really shaking things up and generally being a bully. Thank goodness it's not us working at Channel One. It's bad enough dealing with Marisa and Delfine.

Prue wants to be the face of 'All Day, Ev'ry Day' so Kate Blake, you'd better watch your back. (All Day, Ev'ry Day is hosted by Kate at the moment). Prue says that Kate's too plain.

Prue likes to be seen driving around in her sports car, blonde hair flying and sunnies on. She often pulls into a coffee shop and sits for ages outside sipping her coffee. Maybe she's the one not working, but is making a lot of noise about others not pulling their weight. Dr Una says she delegates a lot of work to her PA, Paolo. Geez, he must be a glutton for punishment.

Rubi told Leanne that Prue is between mid and late thirties, but she's trying to pass herself off as 29. We bet she'll most likely claim to be 29 for the next ten years.
