A/N: In honor of Halloween I wanted to write a short oneshot of everyone's favorite kitty Shiori! Enjoy!

I've got a secret to tell you nyah, do you promise you won't tell anybody? Good. I think there's a monster living in my house nyah.

     It all started a few days ago, exactly one week from Halloween.

     Bro bro was nowhere to be seen, he left to go candy shopping without me, which majorly sucks nyah.

     I was taking my afternoon cat nap when I heard faint music coming from the bathroom.

     I couldn't make out what type it was, but it was very upbeat. If there is a monster in my house maybe it's a pop-music loving one nyah.

     I knocked on the door to ask if there was anyone in there and all I heard was a scream, it was so loud and scary nyah! So I ran away and hid under my covers till bro bro came back. I told him about the monster but he said it was just my imagination.

     So the next day I went back to the bathroom door and stood at it, brave as can be nyah.

     I shouted for the monster to come out but all I heard was a growl. So I left and hid again...I try to be a big girl but I'm a bit of a scaredy-cat hehe...

     Bro bro still didn't believe me, so I knew I needed proof. And maybe a little bit of help nyah.

     "Of course I'll help Shiori! We can be detective buddies!"

     "Thank you Eita, I knew I could count on you."

     The beachcomber and I planned out a scheme to catch the bathroom monster. We got cameras and bug nets to snatch it up nyah!

     So the next day when the music started to play again, Eita and I grabbed our things and pounded on the door. The monster growled in response and then locked the door from the inside! We couldn't get in now!

     I sat on my pink bedsheets in distress, Eita patting my back.

     "It's okay Shi, I'm sure Hiroshi will believe us if we show him the locked door!" He smiled optimistically.

     "You're right nyah! We've got the proof we need!"

     When bro bro came home from spray painting the city Eita and I led him to the bathroom. He raised an eyebrow at me and jiggled the handle, it opened immediately.

     "W-what?! It was locked earlier! The monster must've escaped!" I groaned.

     "Sibby I promise you, there is no bathroom monster. It's just the house creaking." He ruffled my hair.

     "I heard it too Hiro! There's something in there!" Eita tried to explain.

     "There is no monster you two, go find something else to do alright? There's no need to spend your time worrying."

     So with bro bro's suggestion Eita and I spent our time moping for the next few days until it hit Halloween night. That way, we could catch the monster off guard! They probably think we gave up...but no, master detective Shi and mew's assistant Eita never falter nyah!

     I adjusted my cat ears and black onesie in my bedroom mirror. I was all ready to do some monster hunting!

     Eita soon knocked on the door and sat atop my bed as I fastened a little bell collar to my neck.

     "You're going as a cat? Don't you do that all the time?"

     "You're going as a dog. You don't even like dogs that much nyah." I spat back at her playfully.

    "I'm going as a dog because I assumed you'd be a cat as usual, I wanted us to match." He stuck out his tongue at me.

     "Alright then! I'm ready, let's go get the monster!" I jabbed my finger in the air.

     The two of us neared the bathroom, the same music was playing again...it was definitely pop this time.

     Before the monster could even realize we were there Eita flung open the door while I snapped a photo!

    The monster hissed at the sudden flash. I lowered my camera to get a good look at the scary beast...but all ai saw was... a women wearing a lot of makeup? She had a sparkly dress and bright blue hair. She was a stranger but looked all too familiar nyah...

     "Bro bro! You're the bathroom monster?" I asked.

     "Shiori this was supposed to be a surprise!" He groaned.

     "You're a drag queen!" Eita clapped excitedly.

     "Yup, this is my Halloween costume. I've always admired drag so I wanted to try it out."

     "Why did you lock yourself in the bathroom everyday this week?" Eita questioned.

     "Because I wanted to try out some makeup looks to find one I liked the best. It was going to be a surprise until this little one started snooping." He glared at me for a moment before poking me in the ribs.

     "Ack- stop it nyah!" I giggled.

      "You kids ready to go trick or treating?" My big brother asked.

     "Yes!" Eita and I shouted.

     "Alright then, candy here we come!"
