"Why would anyone want us to come somewhere without our Pokémon?" Dawn asked, her voice unnoticeably hoarse.

"I don't know," Ash replied, worry evident on his face.

"This has the spicy taste of Team Rocket," Cilan exclaimed.

Iris groaned. "Cilan!" she yelled. "YOU'RE WORRYING ABOUT FOOD AT A TIME LIKE THIS?"

"Actually, I'm hungry, too," Ash said apologetically.

Bonnie ran ahead and stood in front of everyone as if she was a short blonde barrier. "I miss Dedenne!"

"I bet this is nothing," Serena said. "We always defeat Team Rocket, anyway, so it won't be a problem.

"Yeah, but that's our Pokémon," Ash pointed out.

Iris groaned. "Can we just go in?!"

Bonnie grunted. "Fine, but I don't like this."

"Bonnie, you realize that this is probably some kind of Pokémon center or something. They just want to have a special inspection of our Pokémon," Clemont said to his little sister. A device on the blonde Trainer's back picked up the small girl and carried her along.

The ominous house that they were headed to had lights that shined through the windows strangely. The eerie colors freaked Ash and the others out.

"I want to get this over with!" May yelled. "I miss Munchlax and Skitty and Combusken!"

"I'm sure it'll be for just a few days," Brock said reassuringly. "Tops."

N walked behind everyone else, not joining into their conversations. 'What do they need us for?' he wondered.
