"D...Dandelionpaw?"
Dandelionpaw was awoken by a stammer,"Starflame?"
The white warrior was bending over her. She vaidly recalled what had happened last night: After sprinting out of camp, she'd tried to outrun Ashwing. She'd tripped on a bramble and banged her head pretty hard.
"What happened last night? Why did you leave?"Starflame asked anxiously.
She flinched at the question,"It...it doesn't matter. Let's get back to camp."

Four moons passed. Rashpelt and Kiterose had taken on their warrior names, and it was the day of Dandelionpaw and her littermates' assessments. She'd been plotting with her starless friends for the seasons. Acornbelly had moved into the nursery, belly heavy with Tallpine's kits.
"Come on,"Bugfrost commanded,"We have to go,"
"Alright,"despite her nerve, Dandelionpaw couldn't suppress a bowl of excitment in her stomach.
I'll be a warrior today!
She skipped out of camp with Frostedpaw and Breezepaw. Her excitment was replaced by misery.
"We should be four,"Breezepaw voiced her sorrow out loud.
Though she found it hard to speak, her eyes must have given away her emotion, because Frostedpaw was staring into their depths when she nodded in agreement.
Ahead of them, Frostbitewhisper and Garlicwhisker were locked in a disscussion. Bugfrost was rolling his eyes in front of them.
"Okay,"Garlicwhisker suddenly stopped,"Frostedpaw, head towards Sunningrocks. Breezepaw, hunt near the twoleg place. Dandelionpaw, head for the the Thunderpath but do not go near it,"
"Okay,"she breathed.
Frostedpaw left first. Dandelionpaw nad Breezepaw hung back for a few moments, trying to gather their thoughts and te.
Just as she was about to set off, Frostedpaw appeared, gasping.
"What is it?"she asked, rushing to her side.
"RiverClan are trying to take Sunningrocks!"Frostedpaw declared.
"What?"Frostbitewhisper snarled,"Breezepaw, get help,"
Her brother nodded and sped off.
"Let's go,"Bugfrost meowed.
The five marched over to Sunningrocks, and encountered a large patrol. Bluetittail, Hawkpelt, Ravenpaw, Creamlaugh, Violetwillow, Sageberry, Bristlelight, Flowernose and Waterwind were on it.
"What do you think you're doing?" Garlicwhisker demmanded.
"Claiming what's rightfully ours,"the Clan deputy Violetwillow snarled, "Why not fight us for it?"
"Gladly,"Garlicwhisker sprang at the opposing deputy, and a battle urrupted.
Dandelionpaw found herself face-to-face with Ravenpaw. "Ooo! Zigzagkit!" he purred.
"My name is Dandelionpaw!" Dandelionpaw screeched, raking her claws down his shoulder. Blood steamed out of it, and he wailed a curse,"Oh, you mangy piece of fox-dung!"
"Fox-dung isn't stripy, you idiot!"as she was speaking, Ravenpaw raked a claw over her forehead, and over her eye. Blood poured into her vision. She was forced to fight half-blind and soaking. "I'll get you for that!"
Dandelionpaw ducked and swiftly clawed his underbelly. The black tom yowled and fled, leaving a trail of blood behind him. She gasped for breath. Just then, Breezepaw's patrol came over the rise, Lightstar in the lead.
Shortly after, she found herself fighting beside Starflame, matching her blow for blow. Once they'd driven off Sageberry and Creamlaugh, they were seperated in the flood of fighting cats. She thundered through them, desperately searching for her best friend. What if she's hurt? Or worse...dead?
No!
She was almost overpowered by Bristlelight when she spotted her, locked in battle with Bluetittail.
Her belly was exposed to anyone behind her, obviously trying to keep it out of her opponent's reach.
Then, she saw something else. Hawkpelt was about to lunge at her belly, and if he manadged it...no...I don't want to think about it...
She shouldered Bristlelight away and tried desperately to get to her.
She lept fowards. Another lept in front of her. A she-cat she sort of recognised. They raked their claws down her chest. Utter pain silenced her world and she was awake just long enough to see Rashpelt leap in front of Starflame.
