Chapter 7

Yuuri Katsuki POV

"Stupid Katsudon! Stop being so stubborn!" Yurio yelled at me. In case you're wondering what's going on, Victor and Yurio think I should go to therapy while I think that would be pointless.

"I already told you, I'm not spending a hundred dollars to talk to someone when I can just tell myself I'm fine," I said. "Plus I've been doing exactly what the doctor said I should for the past week so I don't need it."

"But Yuuri~ we just wanna help you," Victor said.

"I know and you guys are helping me that why I don't need it." Victor looked like he was about to respond but then stopped and thought for a moment.

"I guess you do kind of have a point." He replied putting his finger on his chin and smiling.

"You're on his side now! That's it, I give up, I'm going to Otabek's." Yurio huffed.

"Be back by-" Yurio cut me off.

"Ten o-clock I know, I know." He said waving me off and leaving.

"He better not get on that motorcycle, it scares the crap out of me when he does that, I trust Otabek but not driving a motorcycle with Yurio clinging to him, and they don't even wear helmets!" I ranted. Victor stopped my ranting by laughing a little.

"Why are you laughing?" I asked.

"It's just cute how worried you are about him." He said causing me to blush.

"Hey I have every right to be worried, plus I'm the only one he has looking after him now."

"Are you related somehow?  I'm not too sure how that would be possible."

"No no, we aren't related, Yurio and I met a few years ago when he was a freshman, I was just his choreographer for a while," I explained.

"Well, why does he live here now?"

"I don't really think that's my story to tell, it's kinda personal for him though so I wouldn't push him to talk about it," I said getting up to clean up a bit.

"Shouldn't Yurio clean his own mess?" Victor asked and I almost laughed at that.

"He's a teenage boy, they are well known for making messes with no intention to clean it up trust me I've tried," I said and Victor just nodded.

"So Yuuri~ do you have any family?" He asked.

"Ah no, not anymore."

"What happened to them?" Victor sure likes to dig into personal lives.

"They died in a plane crash about two years ago, they were coming to see me actually. It's kinda weird if I wasn't around they'd all probably still be alive." I said the somewhat lighthearted mood darkening a little.

"Yuuri~ don't say stuff like that, it wasn't your fault."

"It's fine Victor I've already accepted it," I replied going into Yurio's dungeon I mean bedroom to clean since he doesn't care if I'm in there. If Victor said something else I didn't hear it because we were in different rooms but I'm not too sure if I would have answered again anyway, family is a touchy subject for me.

Once I finished cleaning everything it was about nine o'clock and I thought about going to sleep but decided to wait for Yurio to make sure he got home on time, I might sound strict for someone who isn't actually his parent but I worry so that's why I have to set limits. Victor had already gone to bed so I just sat on the couch and scrolled through social media until the door finally opened revealing Otabek and an almost asleep Yurio in his arms.

"You guys were on the bike again weren't you?"

"Yes, sir," Otabek said in a monotone voice as always.

"Helmets?"

"No, sir." He answered again and I sighed.

"You know I hate that right?"

"You tell us that every time."

"Молчи, Katsudon," Yurio said tiredly snuggling into Otabeks chest which I found adorable but didn't say anything.

"Alright alright, go ahead and take him to bed, you're welcome to stay over as usual," I said and Otabek nodded carrying Yurio to his room. I sighed again and walking to my room and laid down, once Victor sensed my presence he wrapped his arms around my waist and wouldn't let go until I eventually fell asleep too.

-----------------

The next morning when I woke up I had to use all of my force to pry Victor off of me so I could get ready for work. Normally I wake Yurio up for school first but since Otabek was here I didn't have to worry about it, Otabek could wake Yurio up without a shield. It might seem irresponsible that I let them have sleepovers on school nights but it's not irresponsible if Otabek is the only reason Yurio will do his homework.

I got ready quickly and went to the kitchen to make breakfast and was greeted by Yurio and Otabek who were quietly chatting on the couch completely ready for school and were probably just waiting for food now. "You guys could've woken me up you know."

"No, it's fine we have time before school," Otabek said and I just nodded getting out the pancake mix.

Once I finished making breakfast I woke Victor up to eat and was about to leave for work before I was stopped.

"Yuuri~ forgetting something?" Victor called. I knew exactly what he was talking about but decided to play dumb.

"No, I don't think so," I replied.

"Sit down Katsudon and eat your breakfast." I sighed and sat down not feeling like arguing they win this round.
