A&H 2.

A little. Um... Idk type of chapter so tell how I did 😂

"How can you do this to me?" She asked perplexed. Her eyes stuck on the papers present in the file.

"I can do what ever I want. The company belongs to me. I choose who and how I give it to" Shahid Osmani said with his cigar tilting between his lips. His thick fingers adorned with a silver ring took a hold of it as he blew the smoke out in her direction as if mocking her.

"This company belongs to me. If not whole then at least distribute it equally. I deserve it!." She yelled by the end. It was not hidden who ran the company after Shahid, but him being the bastard he was never gave her credit or appreciated her.

"Don't talk back at me young lady. I'm the owner. I make the decisions" he said in a stern voice making her roll her eyes at him. Her eyes looked like two black fireballs that could burn the whole Osmani empire of let loose.

"No you can't. I worked my ass off for the betterment of your company. I risked my mental health for you. My studies, everything. All that useless son of yours has ever done is drink till he's passed out" she yelled making him stand up banging his hand on the table making her momentarily flinch. Her anger was replaced with fear of her father as he strode towards her. Before she knew it her head whipped to the other side, a stinging pain shot up through her soft cheek making her eyes water. He had slapped her hard. His rough, manly and heavy hand had landed harshly on her cheek shutting her off for a while. But this wasn't the first time.

"HOLD THAT SPEECH. YOU DESERVE NOTHING BUT TO WORK UNDER US AS A SLAVE. HE'S MY SON AND MY WEALTH BELONGS TO HIM. NOT TO THE DAUGHTER OF A WHORE!!" He yelled, he felt triumph seeing her teary eyes and red cheek. The frustration and rage of what her mother did years ago was yet again taken out on her.

She stayed silent. Letting the painful words sink in. Her mother had ruined her life just for the sake of hers. She had ran away with her lover after two years of giving birth to her, turning her father into a psychotic mess taking every penny with her and now here she was paying the debt her mother took.

"No it fucking don't. If he's your son then whether you like it or not I'm your daughter and I have equal right as him." She started of as a whisper but soon turned into a powerful voice that boomed in the walls of his study shocking him almost.

"Keep the tongue in control. Sign the papers or you don't get what little you're getting" he said gripping her hair tightly. She winced but didn't say anything.

"Shove it up his ass. I don't want a single penny. If all I have to do is work like a slave is rather work for someone else". She said pushing his hand away. Tears shined in her eyes and she let them. Thinking maybe they will win her case for her but they only added fuel to the flame.

"No one will hire you. I'll make sure no one will" Shahid Osmani threatened. His voice strong and deep as he let out yet another puff of smoke.

"Try all you want. I'm your backbone. Zuhaib's alcoholic ass can't do shit" she said throwing the file at his feet. She didn't want anything but his love. She would easily give this up for him if only he'd treat her like he treated Zuhaib.

He was her half brother from her father's mistress. Her father had an issue with her mother running away with someone else but didn't mind fucking other bitches behind her back or even infront of her. His torture was what made her run away, and her decision to leave everything of his behind included her in it as well. They both cared about themselves, no one looked in the room where a two year old Huda cried for her mother's embrace, her warmth in the stormy dark night. No one even noticed her till she turned eight and desired to have her father's attention like her brother Zuhaib had but the only thing she got was a reality check as to whose daughter she was and what her value in his life was.

"Get out of my sight, before I do something you'll regret" Shahid's voice brought her out of her thoughts, she looked at him who now sat proudly on his chair making her chuckle at his attempt.

"Empty threats are all you can do. You do as much as you want to but remember one thing you'll need me and that's a prophecy. This gang, this company belongs to me, solely me" she said slamming her hand on her on his desk making his eyes turn furious but before he could even try anything Huda was out of the door and the house.

"Hm.. alright. Your proposition seems fine. I'll check the contract on my own, my assistant will contact you to let you know of my final decision" she sat in her lavish office. The setting sun casted a halo of oranges and violets in her cabin making it look exquisite. The whole city could be seen from the floor to ceiling window. She hung up the phone and was getting back to work but was interupted by her assistant.

"Ma'am. Mr Khan is here to meet you" hazel told her. It took her a while to realize who she was talking about.

"Ohh dear God" she thought sighing her headache was already on peak since the encounter with her father a week back and now this man was here to make it worse.

"Let him wait. Tell him I'm busy" she said leaning back in her chair. Hazel scurried out closing the door behind her.

"Sir she'll be free in a while. You can meet her then. Till then you can take a seat in the waiting room" she told Aaban in a professional tone, her eyes assessed his features intently with hazy eyes.

"Are you done feasting your eyes" He smirked looking her reddening face making her turn even more red. She excused herself and ran off to her desk turning her back to him. She wasn't the one to be blamed though.

This man was a female magnet that made even the goody two shoes to also take a second look who was she then. Aaban turned his attention towards the door where the name of the vice president of the company was written in cursive silver letter. He didn't think twice before pushing the door open harshly.

"Aaban Khan waits for no one" He entered inside to find her leaning back in her seat with her eyes closed. Her coat hanging on the stand on the right side of her desk while she was left in her sleeveless beige tank top. Her earrings almost touched her shoulder blades, her collarbones greeted his hungry eyes as they travelled down to her chest but the journey was stopped by the clearing of a throat. His eyes travelled back up to her eyes that were now looking at him. The raised eyebrow made him feel like he was a deer caught in headlights.

"Well.... What do we have here? The great Aaban Khan in my office." She said turning her chair to the left so that her side was facing him. She gestured for him to take a seat and he obliged.

"Cut the crap. Why is your father pestering on doing the rukhsati early?" He said in a clipped tone making her shake her head at him.

"One strong coffee for me...... Yeah that'll be all" she ordered hazel through the intercom. She paused in between and looked at Aaban if he wanted something but just when he was about to tell what he wanted she ended the call. He inhaled deeply trying not to choke her death but refrained from doing so.

"I'm pretty sure it's your desperate self that wants this wedding done" he said looking at her who stayed rooted unfazed.

"And since you know everything what the reason of my desperation?" She asked leaning on her elbow that was placed on the armrest of her chair looking at him expectantly.

"It's not hidden that your father so this close to disowning you. What else could it be? You need money to survive and since you know you have a rich guy locked." He said nonchalantly making her shudder inwardly. Money. It's one thing people need to survive but also the same thing that makes them fall from grace. In this world people need money to survive but when it's a girl involved, she's always marked a gold digger. Why because according to people marrying a rich man is an easier way to make a fortune. Alas! It not what the world thinks. Like all five different fingers, all the girls in this world are not the same. Some are their own rich men, they can own the world on their own while some prefer to have a rich man. Personal opinions.

"So you admit your locked to me" she smirked making him scoff at her statement.

"You wish. You're not getting a single penny nor me."

"Remind me when I asked for you? I'd rather take the money" she said winking at him making him burn in rage. Her pure denial was another one of the reasons why he hated her. He never had an effect of her like he had on other girls.

They would fall at their knees for him to just order them around knowing well they're being played but this was no girl she was woman who knew her worth and wasn't ready to act like a pawn when she could be the queen.

"Like mother like daughter. She married your father for money and so did you. Maybe if you'll suck har-" he kept on saying rubbish but when it got put of hand she pulled out her gun and stood up, towering over his sitting figure. The golden gun glinted in the orange hues of the sunset.

She pointed the gun right at his forehead while breathing heavily. He smirked seeing he had hit a nerve.

"Why the princess wasn't taught how to please a man to make money?" He mocked making an innocent face, her expression hardened and she shot. Not him but the vase behind him making it shatter in air but he didn't even flinch, instead kept on staring at her amused.

She can't kill him because of the contract. If he goes down the gang goes under his father's name as compensation, the contract was messed up but did she have a choice but to tolerate this pathetic excuse of a man.

"Loosing your calm princess" he mocked seeing the gun still pointed at his head. He leaned back in his seat placing his right ankle on his left leg and elbow on the armrest of the chair with his thumb supporting his chin and forefinger placed on his lips making a fake attempt to stop the smirk from deepening.

Before she could say something the door was knocked. Her eyes went to the door while his were stuck on the golden sphere resting on her chest hanging in a thin golden chair that clashed against her tan skin. The door opened and hazel entered. Her eyes went wide witnessing the shattered crystal everywhere and a gun in her bosses hand. She gulped audible, her face paled as she hurried towards the table.

"Your coffee ma'am" hazel muttered keeping her eyes low and left after placing the white cup on the table.

"You scared the poor girl" he said looking at the closed door.

"Leave" she said not looking at him. Her anxiety was on its peak. The mere mention of her mother made her blood boil and coming from a man like him made it even more worse.

"Uh uh.. this anger of yours only add more to my flame. The leash is in my hand, one wrong move and I'll turn this whole fantasy of yours upside down" he said leaning forward and taking her coffee.

"You have no superiority over me. Understood? You can't do shit" she said pushing the cup away from his lips making the hot coffee to spill over him and on the floor along with the shattering cup.

Aaban furiously stood up taking a half of her neck in a chocking grip. He brought her face closer to her, her hand clawed at his hand as her oxygen supply was getting cutoff but she didn't let her unease she to satisfy him.

"You-" he was cutoff by her office door being thrown open by a furious Shahid.........
