Leoshy || Tea Party ||

A/n : I saw some kind of short strip comic a long time ago about the girl where Leo had tea party with, was older and she was having a tea party with Leo, who looked guilty as he raised his cup and held out his smallest finger, in which made the girl cried and said, " You're late, Mr Turtle." I freaking love it and this plot goes the comic's owner. But of course, I'll be using Fluttershy instead.

Description :

Fluttershy was -- 12? She didn't really remembered how old she was when she met a mutant turtle armed with swords accidentally ended up in her room while she was playing with her stuff toys. They had quite a short tea party before he had to leave; but he had promised to come back. So she waited.

For 3 years.

" I'll come back to visit, " he had said, perching on the window, head turned around to look at Fluttershy, " and I'll bring some tea -- I promise, little butterfly. " he smirked as the nickname he had given to Fluttershy rolled off his tongue.

Then he disappeared, leaving the young pink haired girl waving her hands into the night with a big grin on her face; the promise he had made sinked inside her.

> 3 Years later <

Fluttershy was on top of the roof of her aunt and uncle's apartment, where she had been staying for the summer break just like she did about 3 years ago. The roof had a small garden, plus with a bench and a small round table where she put a pot, a few cups of teacups and a plate of biscuits; not really an ideal evening tea when it was night already.

She sipped in her tea, enjoying the quiet and calm night, the wind in her hair and her eyes glued to the starry sky. Yet something inside her felt rather empty and she knew why.

She had waited.

For the blue masked turtle to come.

It was rather heartbreaking, when she was 12 years old, spending her summer with her aunt and uncle and waited by the window every night for the turtle to come back but he never did. And when it was time for her to leave, returning back to Canterlot, she had cried, being young she was back there.

She sighed and looked down, biting her lips. A sudden cold air rushed through her, making she shivered. Fluttershy hugged herself, regretting not to wear any jacket. She wondered why she was still waiting for the turtle even now; almost every night since she came back, she would drank tea on top of the roof instead of in her room, hoping the turtle would notice easily.

She supposed it was because of her fondness in animal that made her hopelessly waited or maybe because how patient and gentle the turtle treated her back there.

She remembered how the turtle froze when she said to put up his pinky finger when drinking the tea; in which he had replied by saying he had only three fingers and not basically having a pinky finger yet he put up the smallest finger of his to replace the missing pinky finger. Fluttershy laughed softly at the memory.

There was a sudden thud sound and Fluttershy looked up instantly. Time suddenly seemed to froze as a figure stood on the same roof top where Fluttershy was.

The turtle looked no different from the years since she had seen him; blue mask, though looked a little dirtier, armed with swords, maybe even had grown taller a bit and the sheepish smile he carved on his face as he hesitated to come closer.

" Mr.Turtle... " Fluttershy breathed the nickname she had given to the mutant in front of him.

She stood up, legs trembling and hands over her mouth in disbelief; a miracle just happened. She watched the turtle slowly walked closer, in one hand of his was a pack of teabag. Fluttershy slowly sat back and silently gestured him to take the empty sit on the available chair in front of her. She poured tea inside an empty cup with a slightly trembling hands as he sat down.

It was rather awkward, as he put the teabags on the table and took the the tea. Fluttershy took her teacup and held it up, pinky finger out. His blue eyes never left Fluttershy and he softly smiled as he put up his smallest finger up.

That was when Fluttershy started to cry.

" You're late, Mr. Turtle."

The blue masked turtle put down his cup and went over Fluttershy, wrapping his large hands over her body as she had her forehead leaning against his chest and cried.

" I am know," his voice had always sounded the same; gentle and soft, " I am so sorry."

Fluttershy poured everything she felt there; her sadness when she thought she would never see the turtle again, her worth patients of waiting and her happiness of seeing him again at last. After what felt like hours, which was minutes, Fluttershy stopped crying and wiped her tears, smiling slightly and leaned backward.

" I..." she hiccupped, " I never knew your name."

" Leonardo," the blue masked turtle said, " my name is Leonardo. You can call me Leo, Fluttershy."

" How did you know my name?" Fluttershy tilted her head.

Leo gently chuckled, " Remembering my promise to you back there made me searched for you everywhere, asking people sometimes, which kinda risking my existence. " he nervously rubbed the back of his neck as he looked away.

" You went through all of that just to meet me?"

" A promise is a promise, " Leo winked, " besides, you already know my existence -- I gotta make sure you've kept it as a secret, right?" he tapped Fluttershy's nose, making her giggled.

" I have never told anyone about you." Fluttershy assured him.

" That's good, " he took the girl's hands in his, " now that you're older, I guess we're too old to play tea party." he awkwardly said.

" Not really, " Fluttershy laughed, " but if you don't want to, what do you want to do now?"

" How about introducing you to my brothers first?"

" All right."

Leo gently tightened his grip around Fluttershy's hands, " Then let's go...little butterfly. "
