Heh... I called that man my father... however we had no blood ties... I was but a stranger he took in and claimed as his son... no good parent would treat their child like this...

The day I looked up from hearing that voice... that sweet, sweet voice... it was like I was looking directly at the sun... there she stood... as bright as the sun... a little girl around my age with purple hair and eyes to match... smiling brightly...

???: How terrible... the Master has gone too far...

(Y/N):.......

My mouth being dry from the weeks of not being fed or hydrated. Instantly a look of realization appeared on her face as she brought up a cup to my mouth.

???: I probably shouldn't be doing this, but I just can't stand by while the Master does this to you...

(Y/N):.....

???: Oh!! I know how about I introduce myself to you!! My name is Mizuki!!

(Y/N):....

Mizuki:.... No response... sigh~... I should've expected this...

(Y/N):....

Mizuki: Though I guess you don't really have to introduce yourself after all we all know who you are, Young Master!

(Y/N): L-l-l...

Mizuki: Ahh~ you're trying to speak!!

(Y/N): L-leave... m-me a-alone!!

She then pushed her index finger against my lip effectively preventing me from speaking any further.

Mizuki: No!!

She shouted out softly... her soft voice echoing in the hallow room. Her actions were pretty confusing.. I didn't get it what did she want?

Why... why won't she just leave... ?

Mizuki: I'm not gonna leave!! Not before I give you some food!! Now say ahhh~!!

She said as she got the bowl of rice she brought along with her and with chopsticks in hand she grabbed a small portion of rice and brought it to my face.

(Y/N): W-why.... why are you doing this...?

I said not trusting her intentions... all my life I've been treated like this... so why is she treating me differently...

Mizuki: Because!! How could I just stand by when someone is in need of help~!

For the first time in my life... I've experienced kindness... and it changed me... a single tear fell from my eye as I opened my mouth.

(Y/N): A-ahhhh....

And with that a bound was formed.... from then on whenever she could she would come visit me and feed me just like she did that night long ago.

Then... the day came when I told her my deepest desire...

(Y/N): I want to leave from this place...

Mizuki: U-uwah?! W-where did that come from?!

(Y/N):.... I-I want to be free... like in the books that you've read to me...

Mizuki: (Y/N)... you know as well as I do... that's not possible...

Mizuki: I'm not sure why the Master wants you for but... he will never let you go...

Seeing my expression... she decided to try and cheer me up.

Looking up I nodded and gave her a small smile.

Her cheeks then turned a red scarlet color as she began to stutter.

Mizuki: Uwahhh~ P-p-please (Y/N), I didn't do much!!

(Y/N): You did more then you think.... Mizuki...

Mizuki: Yes, (Y/N)~!?

(Y/N): One day... when I'm strong enough... I'm going to leave... no matter what Father says... and when I do...

Mizuki: Hmm...?

(Y/N): I'm going to take you with me.. that way we can be together forever!!

Mizuki: U-u-u-uwah?!?!? D-d-d-don't say stuff like that, (Y/N)!!! It's embarrassing...

She said blushing as she turned away from me... she then began to twirl her hair around her finger as she said one last thing.

Mizuki: B-but... that also sounds nice... I would love to leave with you one day... (Y/N)....

(Y/N): Mhmm... it's a promise then!!

I said holding out my pinkie towards her as she smiled.

Mizuki: Mhmm a pinkie promise!!

With that said and done we both locked pinkies with each other... little did I know that was a promise I could never keep.... after that day... we decided to run... run from all this... but... I couldn't prepare for what happened next...

Ran far away from all of this...

Trying to live free...

We ran as fast as we could to get away...

But sadly... all did not end as we hoped it would...

Four of the strongest fighter my father had serving under him were on all trail... and when they caught up to us it was over in an instant. All I remember from that horrible day... was fire burning all around me and four figures walking towards me... as I laid on my back defeated... not knowing what happened to Mizuki.

????: Did you really thing you could escape, Young Master...?

Said a voice as his hand made its way towards me dragging me back to hell.

<Current Time>
-Location: Noble Realm-

The scene changed from that of what I was reminiscing to the burning Noble Realm I now found myself in...  the scene here brought back those unpleasant memories.

(Y/N): Mizuki....

Sorry... I can't think about something like this right now! I have to find that idiot and keep him safe!

I thought to myself as I ran through the capital of the Clover Kingdom watching the mayhem and destruction that was caused by an unknown attack.

(Y/N): Dammit Asta where the hell are you?

Focused on finding that shrimp I continued to sprint through the burning section of the Noble realm. I then noticed a group of our attackers, I quickly unsheathes my sword and charged up one of my attacks.

(Y/N): Gravity Magic: Gravity Blade Raging Tiger!

I went in my usually pose for this attack and swung my balde towards them causing a heavy amount of Gravity go towards them. My attack crushed their bodies against a building until there was nothing left to crush. I then quickly sheathed my blade and looked around only to notice more of these attackers gathering around me.

(Y/N): What the hell are these things... they have the shape of a human but... they're undead... this must be someone's magic attack... dammit Asta why did you have to go running off like that you idiot...

After the episode between the Captains of the Crimson Lion and the Silver Eagles a knight of the Clover Kingdom came to warm us that someone was attacking the Capital. After collecting ourselves we quickly made plans to go out and defend our kingdom, but Asta being the stubborn headed idiot he is, rushed out before we could say anything... now that leads us here while the other are off to defend the capital I've been sent out to check near the outer edges of the Noble realm. Just like we suspected it's only the Noble realm being attacked meanwhile the common realm is safe for the time being, but still what is it that the enemies are after...?

???: EEEEEEEIIIIIIII!!!!

My head shot up as I heard the scream of a girl?! I quickly headed towards the direction of the scream and saw a littler red haired girl about to be attacked by these undead creatures.

(Y/N): No... damnit I got to hurry!!!

I said as I rushed to help her avoiding and dodging anything that would come my way. When I finally made it to her I quickly picked her up bridal style and jumped back before the undead could get to her.

(Y/N): Oi little girl!! Are you alright?

???: H-huh... h-hai... t-thank you...

(Y/N): Heh don't thank me yet... we still have a lot of enemies to worry about...

I said looking up only to notice an entire mob of these undead creatures... they just keep gathering up with no end.... whoever is doing this must use a lot of magic to control all theses bodies at once... or could their be multiple people controlling them... no... it's one. This spell is not as complex... it's a simple spell... they attack on their own will... ahh this is too much thinking... I was then snapped out of my thoughts when I felt tears go through my shirt. I then looked down back to the little girl only to see her crying against my chest...

???: M-m-mister... I-I'm scared... I-I-I want to go home with my big sister!!!

As she said those words I couldn't help but feel sad for the young girl.. at times like this I don't really have time to be thinking do I? No I don't! I then put on a bright smile and brought her to my level and made eye contact.

(Y/N): It's alright!! I'm a Magic Knight!! And I promise you that I will return you to your family safe and sound!!

The young girl then began to blush as she stared at me, not wasting anymore time I set her down and kneeled before her and motioned her to get on my back.

(Y/N): Oi little girl no matter what don't let go of me!

???: Mhmm!!

She nodded her head a yes and climbed onto my back. Feeling the new weight on my back I stood up gripping my katana. My Grimoire then flew in front of my as I started to unsheathe my blade, spun it around my hand and then proceeded to stab it into the ground.

(Y/N): Gravity Magic: Gravity Blade Increase x100!!

The surrounding area then proceeded to collapse... the mob of the undead creatures then started to drop to the floor one by one until they were all on their faces. The ground beneath them then started to crack as their bodies began to be crushed by the large amount of gravity falling on them until they were smeared to the ground.

(Y/N): Whoa... better ease up a bit don't want to make another big hole.

Letting my magic attack go we were now standing alone... the little girl on my back then decided to look up to see if everything was alright.

???: Wow?! Onii-chan you're pretty strong?!

(Y/N): Onii-chan...?! And of course a Magic Knight has to be strong to protect the Clover Kingdom!!

???: Onii-chan... can you help me find my family?

(Y/N): Of course! We just have to-...

????: Ara, ara, ara, ara?!?

I was cut of by a new voice... upon hearing it my body froze... not only was this unexpected but whoever this was... their magic power was insane.

T-this voice... I-it can't be...?!

????: What do we have here...? Hmmmmm....? Ara, ara, ara Young Master is that you?!?!? Ara, ara, ara it is you!!!! It's been years how have you been?

Young Master..?!

I quickly turned around to face the sound of the new voice and saw a face I had hoped I would never have to see again. No matter how hard I try to get away from it... my past, it just keeps following. As soon as I turned around the new voice spoke from behind me. His magical presence proving to be overwhelming for the littler girl seeing how she had a look of discomfort on her face.

???: O-onii-chan...

????: Ara, ara, ara... oi little girl... stop being a burden to our Young Master and just die...

Reacting quickly I turned around and came face to face with him. So it really is you... I would have hoped never to see you again, yet here we are.

In a desperate attempt to stop his on coming attack I shouted with all my lungs had to offer and shouted at him.

(Y/N): Noel stop it this instant!!

Just before he could do anything to the little girl he stopped his palm from going any further as it stopped directly in front of my face causing a large pressure of wind to be produced by it.

Noel: Ara, ara, ara, Young Master... you seem to have soften over the years you've been gone...

As soon as he finished his sentence he disappeared from in front of me and then reappeared on a building in front of us.

(Y/N): Noel... it is you... what are you doing here?! Don't tell me... you.. no all of you are behind this?!

Noel: Ara, ara, ara?! Young Master, I'm offended!! We aren't directly the cause of this~!

(Y/N): Directly..?! What do you mean!?

Noel: Ahhh Young Master~! We are but the sideshow today~!! Mhmm the group behind this has a very interesting leader... Big Bro just couldn't say no~~!

My body froze stiff at the mention of... him. It seems ever after all these years that I have been freed of his grasp... the fear is still there.

???: O-Onii-chan...?

Noel: Ara...? Is that fear I see? Young Master?

(Y/N): I-is he here...

Noel: Ara~?

(Y/N): Damnit!! Enough with the games, Noel!!! Is he here?!

Noel: Ara~ Ara~ Ara~ Young Master... I see you still fear, Big Bro~! But let me give you some relief~ He's not here sadly. He had other business to attend too... that's why they sent me!! But I never expected to see you in a place like this Young Master~? Last I checked I heard you were going on a rampage near the border of the Diamond Kingdom.

(Y/N):....

???: O-Onii-chan...?

Noel: Oi... brat don't you dare call him that...

(Y/N): Noel... leave this place... and never come back.

Noel: Ara... well I can't do that!! Sorry Young Master, but Big Bro's orders still surpass yours~! Hmmm~~?

Next thing I knew was that Noel was now standing in front of me examining something.

Noel: Ara...? Is that...? Are you a Magic Knight...? Ara... Ara.... Ara.... Big Bro might not be happy about this...

I took a deep breath, look up and glared at him. I then fiercely and shouted out the words I have kept in for so long!

(Y/N): Back then... what happened was my mistake.. and I'll never forgive myself for it. You're right... I did fear you... all of you, but...

With a new found resolve I then glared at him and gripped the hilt of my katana tightly.

(Y/N): I no longer fear any of you! I now have the strength to fight back against anyone who dares to threaten those I care for and if any of you come near this kingdom or my friends then...

Noel: Ara... be careful what you say, Young Master...

He said in a dark tone as he began to glare at me with eyes of pure hatred. I then taking up all the courage I had in my body, pointed my sword towards him and shouted out with everything I had.

(Y/N): I will not hesitate to cut you all down!!!

Noel... he didn't say a word... however his whole attitude changed. The air around him was now giving off an ominous vibe... I said what I said and don't regret it at all. His head then shot up and showed a wicked smile on his face.

Noel: Ara, ara, ara Young Master... I'm going to have to remind you, that you can never escape us.

Disappearing from the building he was standing on... he was ready to attack... considering my current circumstance with the little girl on my back, I can't go all out.

(Y/N): Oi... Little girl what's your name?

???: U-uwah... m-my name is L-Luca...

(Y/N): Luca-chan huh? Well my name is (Y/N), listen... this is gonna be a difficult battle... I'm gonna need you to hold on tight and don't move at all ok.

Luca: O-okay, Onii-chan...

(Y/N): I promise you... even if it cost me my life I will deliver you to your family, without fail!

Luca: Onii-chan... thank you...

Turning my attention away from Luca, I quickly jumped into the air avoiding an oncoming attack from Noel. His hands were now engulfed in a fierce wind cutting everything that it would come into contact with. He went on a relentless attack as I held my sword reverse grip style with the blade pointing out blocking each of his attacks until we eventually clashed. Not wanting to put Luca in any danger I pushed him back, it was now my turn to be on the offensive. Not wasting a moment or chance I charged towards him and began to go on a relentless attack against him. Swing after swing, strike after strike I wouldn't give him a chance to breathe or recover, however he seemed to be blocking all of my attack with ease. Seeing as this wasn't going anywhere I spun my katana around in my hand to the point where the blade side was now pointing out and prepared for an attack.

(Y/N): Gravity Magic: Gravity Blade Great Impact!!

With my katana now being weighed down with an intense force of gravity, I brung down my blade on Noel as he brought up his hand to guard against my attack.

-BBBBBBOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMM-

The clash of my katana hitting against his hands that were cover with his magic caused a small shock wave to be created. I seemed to have been getting the upper hand that was until a tornado formed around him knocking my katana out of my hands.

Noel: Ara... I actually felt that attack... you seemed to have gotten stronger, Young Master..

He said as he gripped his fist and the wind around his hands then formed out to appear like claws. He then grew a sadistic smile and charged towed as me again. Seeing as my katana landed some ways away from me, I prepared myself for hand to hand combat against Noel.

Supporting my arms and my legs with my own magic so they would have a lot of weight behind each attack I charged towards Noel. Seeing as I was heading towards him, his arm shot towards my direction and just before it could connect with my face, I swerved to the left and brought up my leg to connect my knee against his chest.

Noel: K-KAAAHHH?!

A bit of spit came out from his mouth as he was launched back due to my magic putting some extra force in my attacks. He eventually crashed against a building causing him to fly through the wall. Taking this chance I quickly dashed towards my katana and picked it up preparing myself for his return.

Luca: Wow... Onii-chan you're super, super strong!!

(Y/N): Heh I appreciate it, Luca, but sadly that's not enough to take him down...

Luca: H-huh...

(Y/N): It'll take a lot more then that to take down an Elemental...

Luca: Onii-chan... do you know him...?

(Y/N):... Maybe in a past life. One that I have long choose to forget, but now it's my duty to protect you and everyone else of this kingdom.

I said looking down slightly losing my focus for a second... it was hard considering... what he and the others have done. Luca seemed to have taken notice of this and decided to try to cheer me up.

Luca:... You can do it, Onii-chan! I believe in you!

Snapping out of it I gave a smirk and reached behind me and gave her hair a nice pat, pat. Not noticing it this seemed to have caused her to blush which in result she snuggled against my back to hide it.

Just then the wind started to pick up causing all types of derby and corpse of those undead minions to be launched up into the air.

Luca: Kyaaa!!! O-onii-chan?!

(Y/N): Luca! Hold on tightly!!

Luca: H-hai!!

Just then a tornado rose from the house that Noel was suppose to be in, destroying it completely. There in the center of the house was Noel... his eyes had a glint of red in them as his murderous intent could be felt.

Noel: You... you bastard!! Wind Magic: Rising Tmepest!!

The pressure that he was giving off only increased as multiple tornados then began to form all around him, I flipped my sword around in my hand it was now in reverse blade style. He then once again shot his hand forward causing the tornados that he created to come towards us. The force was strong enough to knock us up into the air causing Luca to hold on tighter.

Luca: O-o-onii-chan... I-I'm scared!!

Her cries could barely be heard as her tears started to stain my shirt, however I heard her words loud and clear. I took a deep breath and concentrated...

(Y/N): Mana Zone: Zero Gravity!

A small black sphere formed in the palm of my hand as it began to stir up a lot of pressure. It then began to seemingly absorb something in the surrounding area.

Noel: Ara...? What is that..? You know something as advanced as Mana Zone?! Big deal what are you going to do against my rising tempest!!

(Y/N): For fifth-teen years... I have endured torture from my father... and him. I couldn't do anything about it, but now it's different... I've met so many people and experienced so much... and even have someone I look up to now. I've even grown stronger then before, I won't let you or the other elementals take anything away from me anymore!!

I then closed my fist crushing the black orb... as I did that the tornados suddenly disappeared. I then slowly began to descend as many chunks of debris began to float. Then Noel began to float in air and was shocked.

Noel: WHAT?! How could this have happened?!

(Y/N): It took me a while to master this technique... but with it I can create a small space where I can manipulate gravity at my will. So I took away all gravity and with no gravity...

Noel: No wind... y-you... y-you... YOU BASTARD!!?! I WILL KILL YOU!!!

A sinister green aura then began to surround him as I deactivated this spell causing everything that was floating to come crashing down to the ground. Noel using his magic stayed floating in the air.

(Y/N): Sadly I can't use it for long... but that's not all I got!!

Noel: Wind Magic: Rushing Wind Current!!!

He vanished from my sight as I then prepared myself for my next attack...

If I don't attack now I'll come to regret it late-...

I was cut off from my thoughts from an attack from Noel as he seemingly appeared out of nowhere. His attack managed to make me cough out a bit of blood.

(Y/N): GG-GAHHHH?!

Luca: K-kyaaa?!

His elbow connected with my chest causing an impact strong enough to cause me to be launched back, however not wanting Luca to get hurt before I could crash into anything I recovered.

(Y/N): -Cough- L-Luca are you alright?!

Luca: I-I'm alright...

(Y/N): I'm glad. Alright, damn... that hurt?!

I said as I placed a hand on my chest and looked up to look around for Noel, but he was nowhere to be seen. Just then a felt an attack incoming and just barely avoided it, I felt blood dropping from the newly opened wound on my cheek.

(Y/N): Dammit... I can't see him at all...

I then began to sense that Noel was about to began another barrage of attacks.

(Y/N): Luca!!

Grabbing her off from my back I then enveloped her into a hug shielding her from the ongoing attack. Just then I began to feel multiple attacks all around my body. This barrage of attacks caused multiple burst of wind to pick up all around us until eventually he finished his attack and reappeared on top of a building.

Noel: Ara, ara, ara, ara, ara..... HEHEHEHAHAHA HOW DOES THAT FEEL YOUNG MASTER?! DON'T WORRY I WON'T KILL YOU, BUT I CAN'T MAKE ANY PROMISES ABOUT THAT GIRL?! ARA ARA ARA!!!!

Letting go of Luca I slowly rose up and stood in front of her, blood was dripping from the many wounds I received from that attack.

(Y/N): Heh... is that all you got, Noel...?

This seems to have ticked him off... he then began to charge up his magic. The same dark aura surrounded him as he began to laugh like a maniac.

Noel: ARA, ARA, ARA I'll MAKE SURE THAT THIS ATTACK WON'T KILL YOU!!!!

His grimoire then opened up in front of him... heh.. this was my chance... I quickly gripped my katana... and held out my hand in front of Luca.

Luca: O-onii-chan... you got hurt because of me... you did it to protect me... I'm so sorry...

(Y/N): Heh.. don't worry about it... after all I made a promise! Now Luca stay here... I can't hold back any longer.. it's now or never... promise me you'll be brave.

Luca: Onii-chan... I-I'm scared... but I'll be brave!

(Y/N): Thank you... I promise you he won't touch you...

I then dashed towards him at an insane speed disappearing from his point of view. He looked around trying to find, but did not succeed.

Noel: SO YOU STILL HAD SOME FIGHT?! HUH, YOUNG MASTER?! FINE THEN IF YOU WON'T SHOW YOURSELF I'LL JUST KILL THIS BRAT!!

He then held out his hand with his palm facing Luca as he charged up his magic spell.

Noel: WIND MAGIC: SKY PIL-...?!

However before he could finish saying his spell I now appeared in front of him, with my katana in reverse blade style with the blade pointing away from my thumb. I then swung my blade towards him causing a large amount of gravity to be pushed towards him interrupting his spell.

(Y/N): First Step!

I then disappeared as he stood there strongly shielding himself from the force of gravity that came his way. Noel was giving everything not to be pushed back by my attack, using this as an advantage I then reappeared behind him and continued the same action sending another wave of gravity towards him.

(Y/N): Second Step!

I then continued this same action to the left of him and the the right of him. Then to finish it off I then appeared above him and increased the amount of gravity above him crushing him down at all angles.

(Y/N): Fifth Step! Gravity Magic: Five Way Gravitational Seal!

(Imagine this happening)

Finishing my seal I looked at him as he struggled to escape it with all angle of him being pushed in by huge amount of gravity. Sheathing my blade I took a deep breath.

(Y/N): Damn... that took a lot more effort then I thought..

Luca: Onii-chan!!

I heard the voice of the young girl behind me, she was running towards my direction seeing as the current threat was at bay. She eventually stopped in front of me and gave a bright smile.

Luca: That was amazing!!

(Y/N): It's just something temporary... though when I run out of mana he the gravity returns to normal releasing him from my seal.

Luca: So d-did you win?

(Y/N): Not yet...

I turned to glare at him as he continued to struggle. I then prepared for my next attack pointing my katana towards him with the blade pointing away from my thumb, I put my other free hand on the bottom of the hilt. A purple aura then surrounded my blade as I charged up my next spell.

Luca: Onii-chan...

(Y/N): Sorry Luca... but we can't have him running around freely...

Luca: Mhm...

(Y/N): Turn away kiddo... I'll help you find your family afterwards. Now, Noel! Gravity Magic: Gravity Blade Met-...

The aura around my blade intensified as I said those words that was until Noel erupted in a green aura once again.

(Y/N): My spell...

Noel: Wind Magic: Horuss Armor...

(Y/N): So you're serious now huh... damnit...

Blood continued to drip from my wounds as Noel flew up after freeing himself from my spell. Looks like he truly intends to kill me now.

Noel: Kill... I must kill you... you've pissed me off for that last time, Young Master!! I don't care what Big Brother says about you... I WILL KILL YOU WITH MY OWN HANDS!!!!

Faster then he ever was before he dashed towards me, in a last minuet effort I stood in front of Luca in an attempt to protect her. As his hand was inching closer and closer towards my face something happened.

(Y/N): What?!

Sensing something I instantly looked down ignoring Noel as a black looking substance appeared below my feet. Instantly swallowing both Luca and I just before Noel could do anything to the two of us.

Noel: DAMMIT!!!! THESE BASTARDS!!! NEXT TIME (Y/N)! NEXT TIME WE MEET I WILL KILL YOU!!!!

With that, what I assumed was spatial magic, it closed off before he could say anything else. Relief filled my body as I landed on the ground with Luca landing on top of me.

(Y/N): Ooooooofff?!

Luca: Ahhh Onii-chan?! I'm so sorry are you okay?!

(Y/N): Yeah... yeah I'm good...

???: Where are we?

Looking up I noticed multiple magic knights were with us as well...? What the hack just happened to all of us...?

???: It would appear that we're at least a few hundred kilometers away from the capital.

I then heard one of the magic knights from the Blue Rose speak up...

Oh great it's Sol...

I couldn't help but think that as she began to rub her head in confusion and frustration with both of her hands.

Sol: They got us! Damn it!

The leader of the Blue Rose, Charlotte spoke up in the cool calm manner that she usually speaks in.

Charlotte: They managed to infiltrate the Royal Capital. I figured they must've had a rather skilled spatial magic user, but to think they were able to send us all this far.

Sandler: Curses!!!!

(Y/N): Oiiii shut up, Sandler...

I said nonchalantly as I laid there with the young girl still sitting on me. Their attention finally fell upon me as I gave them a blank stare.

(Y/N): Yo.

Sol: Tch! So they got you too huh, (Y/N) just what I would expect from a man like you, especially a man from the Black Bulls.

She said as she stuck her tongue out at me as I returned the gesture.

(Y/N): Ahh well if it's expected of me then what does that mean for all of you higher magic knights? Hahahaha that means you're below me or even worse!

Luca: O-onii-chan...

(Y/N): Ahh Sorry Luca...

She then proceeded to get off of me as I slowly got up and revived glares from the many magic knights here.

Sol: Grrrrrr!!! Don't you dare compare yourself to my Nee-san!!! She can take you and your captain on!! Right Nee-san?!

Charlotte: Call me Captain...

(Y/N): Man what a pain in the ass...

Acting like a little kid she then turned away from me and puffed her cheeks slightly annoyed.

Sol: Hmph... a-are you hurt..?

She whispered the last part under her breath... I was barely able to hear what she said at all so I asked her to speak up.

(Y/N): What was that..?

Sol: Nothing!! Hmph... men are so useless... anyways who's the kid?

(Y/N): Oh this is Luca.

Luca: H-hello...

(Y/N): No need to be shy kiddo, Sol isn't a bad person.

Sol: E-ehh?!

Luca: Okay, Onii-chan.

(Y/N): Anyways she was separated from her family so I was trying to help her find her way back, but we came into contact with an enemy.

Sol: And you couldn't beat him... useless.

I was about to say something back at her that was until the captain of the Silver Eagles acknowledged my presence.

Nozel: So it's the Criminal... Hmph..

Again I was about to say something in response to the braided jerk that was until Mimosa ran up to me with concern written all over her face.

Mimosa: (Y/N)-kun?! Are you alright you're bleeding from all over you body?!

(Y/N): M-Mimosa?! What are you doing here?

I said walking towards her, she merely shook her head a no and focused on all the cuts I had around my body.

Mimosa: It doesn't matter why I'm here! You're hurt!! Please let me heal you!

She was about to start healing me until one of Silva's siblings spoke in a condescending tone like he usually does.

???: So even the Criminal who is said to rival a captain has his moments of weakness huh?! Hehehe as expected!

(Y/N): Shut it, Solid. And I'm fine Mimosa just took a bit of a beating.

Mimosa: L-let me heal you right away.

(Y/N): No time we have to get back to the kingdom.

Mimosa: B-but you're bleeding too much!!

(Y/N):That doesn't matter right now... how many people in the kingdom are being backed into a corner and yet here were are... how many lives have already been thrown away just because of these people who think they can do what they want to our kingdom... I won't stand for that!!

Mimosa: (Y-Y/N)-kun...

I looked at her determined to get back into the fight as soon as we got back to our kingdom, however this in turn caused her face tone to turn into a deep crimson color to which she covered her face with her hands and turned away from me.

Mimosa: H-h-he's so manly!!

(Y/N): Huh...?

I tried to hear what she said but it came out all muffled because of her hands. Solid then decided to speak up again.

Solid: Hehe in the state your in?! Filth like you couldn't even stand against th-...

Nozel: Solid...

Nozel cut his brother off shocking him in the process. Solid then turned to his older brother and looked at him timidly as Nozel  glared at him.

Nozel: Shut your mouth.

Solid: N-nii-sama... h-hai...

Nozel then turned his attention towards me and glared at me at first, but then his glare soften as I felt something I never felt from him before.

Nozel: The state that your in... it could only mean one thing, that our enemy is much stronger then we have anticipated.

(Y/N): Yeah... much stronger then we could have thought...

Normally whenever we spoke to each other we would talk down to one another, but this time he spoke to me on equal terms. Not as a criminal or a peasant, but that of a Magic Knight that have a sworn duty to protect our kingdom.

Nozel: I see.

Nebra: (Y/- I-I mean Criminal!! Just what type of enemy did you face?

Another annoying one... I sighed as I looked towards her which she backed away slightly from my glance.

(Y/N): Nebra... Hell if I know... he was wearing a robe...

I decided to lie... there was no reason for them to know about my past... I'll deal with it whenever I can.

(Y/N): But what I do know... is that they are strong and are planning something big. This isn't some random attack they are attacking with a goal in mind.

Nebra: This is rather concerning... you seem to have taken quite of bit of damage which is very sad considering your status. I expected more from you... are you able to walk?

She asked...? Weird normally when she talks to everyone else she talks down on them... but she actually sounds worried about me... nah it could be.

(Y/N): Yeah I can. Though I don't think it'd be a good idea for me to lose anymore blood.

Mimosa: That's why you should let me heal you!

(Y/N): B-but!

Nozel: Criminal.

I was cut off as Nozel spoke up.

(Y/N): What is it...?

Nozel: Get healed while we decide to do something about our current circumstances right now.

(Y/N): This is no time for that!! To get out of here faster we all have to work together!

Nozel: You're no good to anyone if you cannot fight anymore once we get back to the Clover Kingdom.

(Y/N): True... fine. But I still think we should all work together.

Sandler: And what would you propose criminal?

(Y/N): Do you always have to be so condescending... anyways.. we need to combine our magic and fast... I have a bad feeling...

Nozel: He's right. Weather we like it or not we all have to work together in order to keep peace in the Clover Kingdom.

(Y/N): So we can get along... color me surprised..

Nozel: Hmph.. only since the situation required it.

(Y/N): Heh... ain't that the truth. Though I appreciate it, once we win let me invite you to a drink?

Nozel: Hmph. I have high standards on what I drink so it better be worth my time, Criminal.

(Y/N): Great cause I have something I want to discuss with you.

Nozel: Very well.  Now everyone let's get to work! For the Clover Kingdom.

All of Them: YEAHHH!!!!

Taking this chance I finally sat down and gave out a sigh. Looks like I'm starting to get a bit dizzy from all the blood loss.. man are these cuts deep.

(Y/N): Mimosa..

Mimosa: H-huh...

(Y/N): Looks like I'm going to have to be a burden on you again, but please take good care of me, Mimosa!

I said giving her a bright smile.

Mimosa: U-Uwah?!

Her face blew up into a fiery crimson as she backed away slightly. She then stepped forward once again to come heal me, but she wouldn't make eye contact with me.

Mimosa:I-I don't think you're a burden, (Y/N)-kun... in fact I think it's the opposite. Back at the dungeon you saved me a great many times.

(Y/N): Nah... after all I couldn't even protect you to the end. I had to rely on Asta...

Mimosa: That's not true!!

She semi shouted making eye contact with me as she used her magic to start treating my injuries. This seemed to have caught some of the attention of the others which instantly made her realize that she had a sudden outburst. This caused us both to turn slightly red as she continued her spell.

Mimosa: Plant Magic: Princess-Healing Magic Robe!

As she said those words a multitude of plants, flowers and vines grew around her forming a dress and a pair of wings on her back made of the same material as the dress was.

Mimosa/ (Y/N): U-umm I-.. oh you can go first! N-no you go first... oh...

I was at a lost for words... that weird feeling I had when talking to her came back and I didn't really know what to say at this point.

Mimosa: U-umm... (Y/N)-kun...

(Y/N): Y-yeah...?

Mimosa: I... I'm glad you were there in the dungeon... you not only saved my life... but you also risked yours to protect Yuno-san, Klaus-san, and I. So don't think you're a burden to anyone.

Luca: Mhm Onii-chan!! You saved me! And that means something to me!

Luca said cutting in on our conversation, their words... as little as they may mean to someone else they meant the world to me.

(Y/N): Thank you Luca... Mimosa, but I'm not the great person you guys see me as...

I said slightly looking down losing myself in thought. It all just came down and hit me like a brick... he was here... one of the Elementals.

Noel... why now... why after all this time... what are they planning... especially with this terrorist group that attacked the Clover Kingdom...? Does that mean... he's going to eventually show up... I don't think I can face him... I couldn't protect Mizuki... how could I possibly protec-...

I felt a pair of hands touch my own which caused me to snap out of my thoughts. I looked up to see both Luca and Mimosa grabbing onto each of my hands. Mimosa on the left and Luca on the right.

Luca: Ohii-chan... I don't know why you're saying such sad things about yourself... but I know you're a hero! After all you saved my life!

(Y/N): Luca...

Mimosa then took a deep breathe as her cheeks turned a red tint of crimson. She then looked at me with a new found look of determination and confidences, her grip slightly tighten on my hand.

Mimosa: Mhm, you're right (Y/N)-kun, you're not the person I think you are. You're the person I know you are. The kind loving person who would help anyone in need. That's who you are.

(Y/N): Mimosa.... heh... I don't know why I was so worried now...

I then using both of my hands punched myself in the face on both cheeks shocking Mimosa, Luca and whoever else was listening on this conversation.

Mimosa: (Y/N)-kun?! What are you doing?!

Luca: Onii-chan?! Are you okay??

Sol: That idiot?!

Nebra:.......?!

Klaus: (Y/N) what are you doing to yourself?! You're suppose to be healing?!

(Y/N): Sorry... I just had to strike the fear outside of me... I'm all good now!

I said giving a bright smile.

I may not have been able to have saved you Mizuki... but now... I have grown stronger... I have friends I can trust... and most of all people I want to protect. So I can't lose face, not anymore!

Seeing as Mimosa finished up my healing I got up and went to see how Nozel was doing with our way back to the Clover Kingdom.

Nozel: It's ready, Criminal.

Looking at this masterpiece that was created by the multiple people here I gave a slight smirk.

(Y/N): Looks like you guys can work together. All right let's go!!

Getting on the creation that Nozel and the others have created we were quickly flying through the air making quite the distance in such a short amount of time.

(Y/N): ~Whistle~ Not bad you guys! I didn't expect it to be this fast. We should be able to make it to the Clover Kingdom in no time!

Nozel: Well that was the plan.

I felt a grip on my hand and turned to see that it was Luca looking slightly scared. I smiled slightly as I held her hand trying to calm her down.

(Y/N): It's alright kiddo. We'll be home before you know it.

Luca: Mhm... O-onii-chan you still have a lot of blood on you.

(Y/N): Yeah, I did bleed quite a bit now that I think about it. It'll dry with this air.

Nebra then looked away slightly as she passed me something. It looked like a handkerchief...?

(Y/N): Huh...? What's that for Nebra?

Nebra: Don't be stupid just take it and wipe off your blood.

(Y/N): But if I did that it would stain your handkerchief.

Nebra: Forget about it. A Royal like me doesn't need it anyway.

(Y/N): Ya know if you didn't treat Noelle the way you do, you'd be alright in my book. Thanks though!

As I said this her cheeks flared as she quickly snapped back and glared at me while shouting.

Nebra: B-Baka!!!!

She then held out her wand about to use a magic spell, that was until Mimosa cut in potentially saving me from being knocked off of this thing.

Mimosa: Nebra-sama I don't think that would be a good idea...

Nebra: Tch, Mimosa you'll never get anywhere in life if you keep showing compassion for that idiot.

She said as she huffed and looked away from us. I guess Noelle and Nebra are family after all huh.... they certainly do act the same.

Mimosa: Here (Y/N)-chan let me help you clean up.

She said as she grabbed the handkerchief and began to wipe the blood off of me. I was about to protest that was until she said it was fine and that she would be happy to do it.

(Y/N): Geez, Mimosa do you have to baby me...

Mimosa: Sorry (Y/N)-chan but you were just healed. Besides all I did was first aid, if you continue to push yourself then your wounds will open up again.

(Y/N): Heh please I feel fine!!

Mimosa: You lost a lot of blood... how can you still say that you're fine.

She said with a tone of concern in her voice. She does have a point, but I can't afford to be out of the battle right now. I was about to answer her back that was until I felt strong magic coming from multiple people in the Clover Kingdom.

Nozel: Enough with the idle chit chat. We're here so focus.

Nozel ordered as we flew in the direction of the Noble Realm. Where all the strong presences could be felt.

(Y/N): Over there I see them!!

Nozel: Right!

We saw multiple people in white robes about to attack what looked like Asta, Noelle and Leo who were currently knocked down on the floor. Just as the enemy launched their attack Nozel blocked it using his own magic.

-SWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOSSSSSSHHHHH-

Using his Mercury Magic he managed to block what looked like air drills from hitting the finishing blow on our allies. I stood up preparing to launch myself straight into battle.

???: Ooh, what's this magic?! I've never seen anything like this before!!

Said one of the hooded figures while one of them that was standing on the roof of a building looked shocked to see us in the air.

Noelle: E-everyone?!

???: The Magic Knights...?!

???: Tch...

Sandler then hopped off of our combined magic ride and faced off against the enemy standing on the roof.

Sandler: How dare you send us that far away?

???: Impossible... they managed to return from that distance so quickly?!

Sandler: We really didn't want to, but we all worked together to get back. I suppose you could call it a super compound magic.

The rest of us then jumped off and landed in front of the enemy ready to fight against them to protect our kingdom.

Harmon: Hohoho joining forces once in a while isn't so bad.

Sol: Well I guess men aren't completely useless.

Charlotte: I'll acknowledge their abilities. Nothing more.

Solid: Keh... I'm never working with them again.

Nebra: We really don't play well with others.

(Y/N): Really and here I thought we were all getting along just fine?

Nozel: But our nine Magic Knights squads exists solely to protect the peace of the Clover Kingdom!

(Y/N): Heh couldn't have said it better myself...

I then looked towards Noelle and Asta to see if they were alright, but then I saw the body next to Noelle it was...

Fuegoleon.

My vision darkened as I saw him in that state... he was missing an arm and was completely unresponsive. Mimosa seeing this immediately rushed to his side.

Mimosa: Noelle-san!!

Noelle: Mimosa, please take care of Captain Fuegoleon!

Mimosa: N-no... how could something like this have happen to someone like Captain Fuegoleon..?!

Mimosa then began to use her healing magic on him in an attempt to save his life. I then looked to see Asta and Leo were in bad shape too... I then directed my glare to our enemies as Klaus went to go check on Asta.

These bastard have taken it to far this time!

The man on the roof then used spatial magic to jump down and join his allies telling them it was time to retreat.

???: It'll cost us if we keep fighting. Let's retreat.

Nozel: Don't be in such a hurry. Mercury Magic: Rain of Silver!

(Y/N): As if I would let you escape that easily!! Gravity Magic: Gravity Blade Raging Tiger!'

We both of our grimoires glowing we both used a magic attack. A rain shower of Mercury then began to fall on the enemy as I swung my blade reverse style towards them unleashing a huge amount of gravity towards them.

???: Gel Magic: Sticky Salamander!!

Said the young girl with black hair and glasses causing a giant purple looking salamander to appear out of nowhere.

Nozel: My magic will just pierce through magic like that!

???: And then~~~!

She then brought out a huge syringe...? It was filled with a strange liquid. She then injected it into the salamander causing it to turn a dark pink color.

???: Dark Magic Item: Special Properties Plus Alpha... absorbed!!

The salamander just began to absorb the Mercury of the attack that Nozel sent towards them shocking him.

(Y/N): Heh that won't stop my attack!!!

It's hand then shot forward through my attack and absorbed it?!

(Y/N): D-did that thing just absorb gravity?!

It then reached out towards Asta?! It managed to grab him and dragged him towards the enemy!

???: What do you plan to do with him?

???: It's a secret~~! Hehehe~!

Then one of the robbed member spoke up while closing his grimoire.

???: Remember this, Magic Knights! We are the Eye of the Midnight Sun... the ones who will destroy the Clover Kingdom!

As the salamander began to collapse the spatial magic user opened up a portal beneath them dragging them down to an unknown location. Not wanting them to escape I dashed towards them.

(Y/N): I won't let you get away with Asta!!!

Just before they managed to disappear I managed to make it in time and vanished with them. The last thing I could hear were two shouts!

Noelle: ASTA!!!

Mimosa: (Y/N)!!!!

After that the portal faded, after falling for a bit I eventually landed on my feet I looked up to see that they were all glaring at me.

(Y/N): Heh, as if I would allow you to take our comrade so easily!!

I said as a tint of red glared on my eyes as I now faced down all of them preparing for a fight to take back Asta!
