The Summer is eternal
Our Heaven is in rot
No zephyr will bring slight relief
Where Hell hath got us caught.

What once was sanctuary
With ocean's breeze to cool
Now blazes a deadly desert's heat
Sands sparkling like jewels.

Our environment is fickle
Given to angry turns
And our Eden shall be nevermore
If we refuse to learn.
