3rd Pov

"Huh, Seo Yoon, what are you doing here?" Lena said taking Y/n's attention.

"I-I was curious to see how things were going. Just trying to see if I can find out anything." Seo Yoon said and glanced over to Y/n before returning back to Lena.

"Situation? It's a mess, I mean diving into random coordinates. Who knew we'd end up on a suicide mission like this?" Lena laments her situation."If I'm going back alive, I probably switch jobs...."

"Aw, I'm sure we'll make it alive." Seo Yoon said with a smile.

Lena then turns to Chloe who is in the middle of something chanting something. Lena then asks her interrupting her focus. Chloe is livid about it and they argue until an alarm rang alerting all present in the command room.

"Bridge! What's going on?!" Hilde shouted in a hologram.

Y/n Pov

'Omicron, sense everything around me.' I thought without hesitation.

"Understood....Sensing....Complete.Multiple types of C.Os and Replacers detected."

Then, I heard Hilde shout something that made me think.

"It's impossible to calculate dive coordinates quickly!" Hilde shouted.

'Quickly?' I thought.' Was there such a way?'

'Is it possible Bishop used the power of Qliphoth Factor just by touching Mina?' I thought but quickly dismissed it because to Qliphoth Factor seems volatile just by using it.

'That means-' I thought before getting interrupted by Hilde shouting.

"Robot, secure perimeter and don't let even one Replacer get in! We'll provide support!" Hilde shouted to me and I nodded.

I then teleport outside and see Knight along with multiple C.Os and Replacer Troop.

She then sensed me and looked at me wide-eyed before getting serious.

"All forces....Capture the treasure and crush the enemy....CHARGE!!!" Knight yelled before many enemies followed her orders."And capture the treasure!!"

I summoned my sword and told Omicron to change something.

'Omicron, change the sword attribute from space to Cosmic.' I thought before getting into stance.

"Understood. Changing attribute completed."

The sword glowed and then turned to light yellow. I inhaled my breath and dashed towards them.

"Die!" Random Replacer said before I slashed him."Gagh!"

Another one came and I slashed them.

'Come' I thought before dashing to them again.

Timeskip by Y/n annihilates the entire army of Replacers.

I stand on solid ground and surrounding me is a pile of Replacer and among other things well, Commander Hilde and Shi Yoon kill the one that got past.

Knight ran to who knows where and I heard Soyoung's voice.

"Hello, test, test. Lil bro, you alive?"

I was shocked because I thought she would stay on Normalside but...I shrugged it because it was not unusual for her to do something like this.

I answer her and she appears in hologram."Yes, sis. I'm still alive."

"Good to know, then! How about everyone else?" Soyoung said.

"Haha, we're still fine." Shi Yoon answered in a jovial manner."Lovely voice you have there."

"Haha, thanks for the compliment," Soyoung replied heartily.

"Interest in her, Shi Yoon?" I said taking his attention."I could set up if you want."

"Er, Pardon?" Shi Yoon said in confusion.

"Haha, that's a nice joke, Lil' bro.Hahahaha." Soyoung said emotionlessly.

I then feel chill and reply.

"Haha, no way, I don't think I'm ready yet to see her get married!" I said that and the feeling was gone instantly.

"Thank you! But I have a question to ask. Have you seen Ms. Seo?" Soyoung said making me feel suspicious.

"No," I answered instantly. I can feel the connection is forming but the motivation is still unknown to me. So, I just leave it there.

"Come to think of it, I haven't either." Shi Yoon answered. Then, the comms hang up.

I then swing my sword at my left hand killing another C.Os

"Time to meet Commander." I said."Sis can handle herself but if what I think is true...."

"Let's hope she can withstand me," I said before destroying even more of C.Os and Replacers.

3rd Pov

"Honestly, I'm impressed. I've brought considerable forces yet to think 'he' destroyed most of them. Truly impressive." Knight said facing Hilde and Shi Yoon. "Allow me to convey my respect."

"Okay, Don Quixote. Let me tell you your opponent is us, not him right now." Hilde snarkily remarks.

"Provoking me? That won't diminish my gratitude considering you also destroy a category 3 type C.Os with a punch." Knight said.

"What kind of talk is this?" Hilde questions Knight.

"I was never designed for ambushes or assassination. If there is one thing my source taught me. The ecstasy of battle." Knight said happily closing her eyes as if remembering something happy. "And I am indulging such things right now. Nevertheless, the mission comes first. So, I must reluctantly seek help."

"Help?" Hilde and Shi Yoon said confusedly.

"My Queen...Please leave the fire, blood, and iron to me." Knight said. "Instead, please carry out the king's bidding."

"Your plea has been heard....Please leave that matter to me." A voice said before sweeping by in the form of the violet ball leaving a devastating attack making Hilde and Shi Yoon avoid it.

The ALT Squad who are nearby then look at what happened and they flinch remembering something. Sobin just sits down and apologizes and Eujin yells at her and looks around to find Seo Yoon who is not there and Xiao Lin who looks solemn.

Mina who is on the ship tries to make Bishop move but she stays still holding a box of vial of Y/n's blood. A couple of Replacer's troops appear and destroy the door to the interrogation room before being destroyed by Xiao Lin.

"Hurry, Y/n already destroyed most of them but they keep coming back more!" Xiao Lin shouted.

"You..." Mina said.

"Run first and Question later!" Xiao shouted."You can use the escape pod to link with outside teams once we get there."

"Isn't it more dangerous outside?" Mina questioned while still holding Bishop's hand running outside.

"Under normal circumstances, maybe but...someone beyond our weight class arrived. I don't know if Y/n can beat her or not." Xiao Lin said shocking Mina.

"You save me? Last time I checked, we aren't at friendliest terms." Mina questions her.

"Like I said, I always pay my debts." Xiao Lin said sadly.

"I know you're not the one who saved Cap but I can tell you're important to him." Xiao Lin said referring to Y/n. "I'm...just trying to pay back."

"......" Mina and Bishop said nothing.

"The hangar is straight ahead." Xiao Lin said and the hallway to said hangar was full of Replacer troops. Bishop looked and found it was way less than before. This shocked her.

'The troop should be more but what happened?' Bishop thought.

"How are we going to push through? There's quite a lot of them." Mina said.

"Don't worry about that. I'll distract them." Xiao Lin said reassuring Mina.

"Really, but there are a lot of them...." Mina trailed off seeing the troops who were trying to find them.

"You worry too much, I'll buy enough time for you to get away even if I have to bite their ankle off." Xiao Lin said in determination.

"Wow, that was an awesome line just now! Pretty badass!" Soyoung appears along with Yumi.

"What?! What are you guys doing here?!" Xiao Lin said shocked along with Mina.

"Haha, we followed traces when we found the interrogation room to be empty," Soyoung replied heartily despite the situation.

"Lieutenant Kang! Why do we have to protect this scumbag? She is the mastermind of that notorious organization!" Yumi shouted defiantly.

"But she's a suspect. As police, we have a duty to protect the suspect in custody, Major." Soyoung said calmly.

"Me? Why! I won't have any part of this!" Yumi denied strongly but Soyoung beats her to it.

"It doesn't matter what you think, rules are rules," Soyoung said silencing her. "Now, let's take a deep breath...and focus on taking out the hostile forces first."

"Since you're more of a muscle-I mean melee-oriented fighter, you'd pair well with her," Soyoung said pointing to Xiao Lin.

"What are you going to do then?" Xiao Lin questions Soyoung who smiles brightly.

"I will cheer at the sideline. You are not Lil bro, but I'll try my best! Good luck, team!" Soyoung said cheerfully.

"How did Y/n still stay sane dealing with her?" Mina questioned herself."Never mind."

Xiao Lin and Yumi then take out the hostile Replacer Officer in the hangar. The hangar then was clean of them.

"Good job, Major," Soyoung said.

"W-what are you saying?! Less talking, more running!" Yumi said embarrassedly.

"Haha, let's get going then," Soyoung said to everyone but she noticed Xiao Lin was not saying anything causing her to ask. "What's wrong?"

"Everyone, get down!" Xiao Lin shouted and pushed Soyoung and Yumi down.

Meanwhile, Y/n is destroying endless waves of C.Os.

'Omicron, this is taking too long! Any suggestion?!' Y/n thought mentally to Omicron.

"Master, you should destroy Resonance Pulse Generator."

'Can you locate it?'

"Yes, showing map...complete."

'Now, let's get this done.' Y/n thought and slashed another C.Os destroying it.

At Soyoung , Xiao Lin , Mina and Yumi.

The ship hangar was attacked and Xiao Lin was holding down Soyoung's head.

"Ow, you don't have to press down that hard, you know?" Soyoung complained slightly but Xiao Lin did not heed it and command her.

"Listen closely, I'm going to try to hold them back as much as possible. You turn back where we came from and get out of here." Xiao Lin said seriously.

"You want us to go back now?" Mina questioned naively making Xiao Lin angry.

"Shut up! Do as I say!" Xiao Lin shouted. "I don't know how long I can last against her!"

"Your abilities are sharp as ever, my child." Replacer Queen appears making Xiao Lin shocked and attack her."Lin..."

"Aaah!" Xiao Lin shouted and shot her.

"Hmm, that stings a little..." RQ said nonchalantly. "Although, your abilities have grown considerably...you realize you can't harm me with this toy, aren't you?"

"Crud, why are you here...are you still chasing after us?" Xiao Lin said in a gloomy tone.

"You are the future of us Replacers," RQ replied. " Of course, we're still looking after you. But today, I'm here to see someone else."

"Someone else? Who?" Xiao Lin said confusedly.

"There she is. Long time no see, Officer Candidate Seo Yoon." RQ said shocking everyone present.

Seo Yoon appears with a sad face.

"Cap? Thank goodness, you're here too! I'll provide fire support. You can..." Xiao Lin said running to her.

"Lin! Watch out!" Soyoung shouted.

Xiao Lin then crouches because of pain because Seo Yoon decided to attack her.

"What's going on? Aren't you on the same team?" Mina asked Seo Yoon who stayed quiet.

"Yeah, I had the bad feeling this was the case. You're the one who leaked the Dive Coordinates to the Replacers, didn't you?" Soyoung said calmly. "If I'm correct, the one you're calling is..."

"Correct." Seo Yoon said nonchalantly."I've leaked the coordinates and colluded with Replacers."

"....No, it definitely doesn't come from grudges. You are not doing this for grudges. What are your reasons?" Soyoung said trying to deduce Seo Yoon's motives.

"I'm sick and tired of it all." Seo Yoon said confusing Soyoung.

"Sorry?" Soyoung question.

"I'm tired...and sick of saying slogans like "we are strong. Yoo Mina, I'm jealous of you, you know."

"What? What do you mean?" Mina naively asked.

"You see, I met Y/n first yet he seemed more taken to you than me...and that you also take down Shadow, Knight, and Bishop." Seo Yoon said nonchalantly.

"......" Mina said nothing to retort.

"But what about us?" Seo Yoon questions Mina."We were from the underground forever. I'm sick of this feeling. Sick of being weak."

"Ha, Y/n sure have it lucky, he was strong after all..." Seo Yoon said and Soyoung's hair covered her eyes. "We were going to take him as well and extract that factor out of him and become stronger-" Seo Yoon was interrupted by a gunshot and it grazed her cheeks.

"What the?" Seo Yoon said and wiped her cheeks and looked at her hand which is blood. Everybody present was shocked by the situation and the one who held the gun was Soyoung who looked very angry.

"Oh, to think that someone still wants to take something from him. I can't let this slide." Soyoung said in a very calm tone along with a pissed-off face. "Had you done enough to him?"

"L-lieutenant?" Yumi said nervously.

"Ha, to think you want to do this to him. I will not let you. As his former guardian, let me shoot your head in this instant." Soyoung said and started shooting at Seo Yoon who dodged and Replacer Queen who avoided the shot to the eye.

"Amusing, to think you would have this much skill for a mere police. Such a shame. Seo Yoon." Replacer Queen said to Seo Yoon."Attack her."

Seo Yoon hesitated before nodding and charged towards her with an enhanced speed and delivered a punch to her stomach.

"Guugh! I will not let you!" Soyoung said dropping the gun before punching Seo Yoon with all her might.

Seo Yoon dodges the punch and punches her cheeks launching her to walls due to her enhanced strength.

"Gahk!" Soyoung cried in pain and blood flowed from her mouth.

"L-lieutenant!" Yumi shouted and went to her.

"Seo Yoon, what are you doing?!" Mina shouted to Seo Yoon who looked at her passively.

"Hah, didn't I say it, I want to become strong." Seo Yoon said without a care.

"As much as I want this to go on, have you done your mission, Bishop?" Replacer Queen said.

"What?" Mina said and looked at Bishop who had a sad look.

"The mission is accomplished, Queen. I've recovered the damaged structure of the Qliphoth Factor along with.....Ascension Factor or rather, Adaptation Factor." Bishop stated and Mina released her hand from Bishop's grasp."The incomplete Qliphoth Factor is sufficient to upgrade Immortal System Core."

"Good work, Bishop. Very good work because that was supposed to be Knight's job to be bait but...very excellent job." RQ praised Bishop.

"All this time....so, what Y/n...said was true...Damn it! Damn it all!" Mina shouted in anger.

"So you're Yoo Mina," RQ said taking Mina's attention.

"You know me?" Mina questioned confusedly.

"A man named Na Yubin told me about you. However, I have taken the pledge to not harm you. So, I will call this a day. Bishop, come, Seo Yoon has the codes for unlocking your restrain. We will release you when we get back." RQ said nonchalantly.

Bishop then walks towards them and when Bishop reaches them, she turns around.

"Mina, I..find it regrettable that it becomes like this," Bishop said.

"....Cut the crap already. if anything,...I guess he was right, even though, I just don't want to believe it." Mina said holding her tears.

".....i see. But your warmth, I...did not mind it." Bishop said with a sad look.

"......."

"But for that warmth, please check your personal email, I've sent you a present," Bishop said and turned to RQ.

"Done?" RQ questioned Bishop and she nodded."Now then, to another agenda, you police officer over there."

RQ said pointing to bruised Soyoung who looked at her defiantly."I'm gonna have you come with us for Y/n's compliance."

"What?!" Yumi reacts and stands in front of her and Mina along with Seo Yoon is shocked.

"Why, Sister?" Seo Yoon questioned RQ.

"She is Y/n's former guardian, and Replacer's Syndicate needs more of his factor and I have not promised anything to Y/n's wellbeing, and that includes his close ones," RQ said coldly.

Yumi who stood in front of her was shaking due to immense pressure and sweating as well.

"Like hell, I'll let you." Soyoung said angrily making Yumi look at her."Look at you taking something that isn't yours in the first place and what do you make of it? A grander vision with no assurance. You're also taking something he treasures most as well."

"I have no need to care for such a thing," RQ said and raised her hand which glows and shoots an energy projectile. Mina and Seo Yoon could only watch as the projectile makes its way."If you are there, he will comply with us."

Soyoung closed her eyes and thought.

'Sorry, Lil bro, I...can't protect you much in this messed up world. But..please don't lose hope in living....They want you to live even though it hurts so much.'

A flash of light appears and deflects the projectile which destroys the hangar wall. The light disappeared and Y/n was there with his sword in his right hand.

"......" Y/n made no word and looked behind him and found Soyoung bleeding. He walks towards her and raises his hand. His hand glows green and Soyoung's face is healed.

Nobody even said a word when appeared. Not even RQ dared to move.

Soyoung opens her eyes and sees Y/n's face.

"Lil bro..." Soyoung muttered weakly.

"It's fine, Sis. Just rest." Y/n said softly and Soyoung nodded and closed her eyes. "Now then..." Y/n said and a barrier surrounded Mina, Soyoung, Yumi, and Xiao Lin who were unconscious.

Immediately, a very heavy pressure hits the Replacer group who is sweating including RQ who is on guard.

"......Now, who the hell issued the order to hurt my sister?" Y/n said in an extremely deep voice calmly. However, beneath those tones, an uncontrollable anger is trying to destroy the restraint of reason.

A/N: Thank you for reading this story. As you've noticed, Y/n's abilities seem limited by Y/n's thoughts but there's a reason for this. A reason which i will show later on.
