Chapter 1- /Raimon JR. High/

Sofia's POV

~4 years later

"Well, School means hell." I thought as I rubbed my left eye.

I played too many games with Yuukoku last night and I didn't really get that much sleep. Lucky Yuukoku, his classes don't start yet which sucks on my side.

I don't study at Occult JR. High anymore cause my best friend's dad told me to look after him, even though he's a guy.

And now I'm going to study at Raimon JR. High as a 2nd year student, I mean why is he enrolled in a public school anyway? He has great grades and big income.

This is bullsh*t.

If I didn't accepted this mission, I'd still be in Occult, still in my major club, dance club and even in my soccer club. I was so close at getting my Loyalty Award too. Studied at Occult from Kinder up until Highschool. It was even my home school for 3 years but I guess I really don't have a choice.

Also, I'm curious why the soccer club stopped for 40 years. But I know the issue's connected to my uncle.

I'm done doing my morning rituals, no pun intended.

I am not going to wear that simple Raimon uniform. I'm gonna wear my Occult uniform with Pride and maybe a little disrespect to Raimon. My mom and dad are still sleeping and I don't want to disturb them, they're probably tired from their last work shift.

I arrived at my new school and-

Holy crap! It's too frickin' bright unlike Occult JR. High's dark hallways. Oh God, my eyes!

I notice that everyone's looking at me. Is this the first time they've seen a girl not wearing they're uniform? Or are they looking at my black shoes? Or is it that my shoes are kinda noisy? Why am I thinking about these peasant students?

I went to the Chairman's Office to drop my high graded flies from my previous school. I knocked and opened the door slowly.

I saw an auburn haired girl wearing a Raimon uniform, but it's different to other's because of the dark pink color.

Psh! There's nothing special about it. Why is she sitting in the chairman's chair while using a laptop? I entered the room to see it clearly and I can already tell that she's the Chairman's daughter.

"Excuse me, Where's Mr. Raimon?" I asked her.

"He's busy, what do you need from him?" She replied, looking at her laptop.

Excuse me? What the f*ck? Okay. That's just straight up rude.

"So, you're Raimon Natsumi?" I asked.

As she heard her name, she looked at me suspiciously? Now, I'm getting the respect and attention someone needs when you need to entertain a new student. Jesus, She's worse than the last School President of Occult.

"Yes. Why do you know my name?" She asked, folding her laptop.

"I'm Supana Sofia, Ms. Raimon." I said as I walked inside of the room, placing down my flies to the desk.

Jesus, Well, if I'm not welcome and she doesn't want me to come inside. I'm just gonna welcome myself.

"Just Natsumi, No formalities" She said as she picked a folder to open it.

She scanned my information. Her eyes widening but changing it quickly. It is because of my Middle name or cause I'm from Occult High?

"You have such high grades and lots of awards credited to you. Why did you leave and enroll here?"

I have a mission given by Gouenji's Dad because him and Enji are not in good terms. Since Enji's Mom died and his dad decided to leave the I.S.O. and become a normal doctor. He also wants me to convince his son to go to a medical school.

"It's confidential and it's none of your business."

"Interesting." Natsumi replied but someone opened the door that interrupted us.

Thank God it's Mr. Raimon and the familiar guy with platinum blonde hair.

"Sofi?"

"Enji?"

"So you know each other?" Natsumi asked.
I nodded as Gouenji said Yes. We heard the bell rang as the students went to their classrooms. Mr. Raimon told us that we should go to our classroom. Enji and I are classmates, while Natsumi goes to her own classroom.

We left the office to go to our classroom. While we were walking, we had this awkward silence but Natsumi broke the silent.

"When did you know each other?"

"We were actually Best friends since we were young"

She nodded. Nice, end of conversation.

Natsumi told us where our room was before entering the room. Neither I or Gouenji don't want to speak or do anything to notice each other. As we reach our classroom, The sensei wrote our names first before calling us and letting us enter the classroom. He instructed us to introduce ourselves. God, I hate this.

"Good morning, I'm Supana Sofia from Occult Jr. High" I said using English. Few of the students understood it but most of them were looking at me weirdly.

"Ne, Supana - san. Can you introduce yourself by using Nihongo"

"It's not my fault if they're stupid enough to not understand English" I said in Nihongo with a smirked to my face.

It's not my fault if they're sh!t stupid heads. Of course, most of them were offended by what I just said and a few of them were actually laughing. I used my psychics ability, telepathy to read their minds. Most of it are: 'This girl is rude!', 'What's with her attitude? She's just a transferred here", 'Wow, what a b!tch', 'What's with her uniform and shoes? An exchange student?'

A b!tch? I'll take that as a compliment. Also, It's still not winter. Why is there snowflakes here? My thoughts got interrupted as Gouenji introduced himself with a cold attitude. He changed. A lot. Sensei assigned us to where we'd sit, he asked for assistance from a boy named Endou Mamoru. He raised his hand and stood to greet us.

"Hi! I'm Endou Mamoru! I hope we have a good year!" The boy said cheerfully with a grin, he was wearing an orange bandana across his brown hair. Gouenji and I just ignored him and sat in our seats. We start our class about basic Math Lesson.

We finished the half day class and we're about to take our lunch.

As soon as I finished fixing my things, Gouenji grabbed my wrist and dragged me out of the building. Jesus, I had to run in my 3 1/2 inch high heel school shoes. I got used to the international education system ok. We stopped at the shady tree and sat down.

Damn it, I didn't get my bento. He started eating by himself, that's rude. I raised my left eyebrow, showing my irritation but he gave me a dead panned face.

"What do you want from me?"

"Shouldn't I be the one to ask that question, Sofia." Gouenji cut me off. I rolled my eyes as he continue eating his bento. Seriously, this guy is a jerk.

"Well, I want to experience what's it's like to study in a public school. " I said while looking away. Sh!t, wrong response. Gouenji smirked at my response.

"Sofi, I know you so much. Last year, when I visited your house with Yuukoku. You'l were bragging about your loyalty award. And you hate public schools."

I lose.

I was about to defend myself but I stopped when I heard his words.

"Is it because of my dad or Reiji?"

I f*cked it all up.

I sighed before I speak. "Can I answer both?"

He chuckled teasingly as I slowly looked down, trying to smile. He pat my head gently and said. "If you need help, just tell me. I'm your best friend okay?"

I smiled as I heard his words. I feel fine. For now.

Thankfully, He shared his bento with me and after class he will treated me with some chocolate mochi and frappe, asking for forgiveness for dragging me.

Classes are finally over. Gouenji somehow didn't join a club but I'm going try to audition for the Dance club. Gouenji accompanied me to get a form for the dance club but suddenly Endou Mamoru appeared in front of us.

"Hey! Would you like to join the Soccer club?"

Both of us shrugged and continued to walk but he blocked us.

"Please. We still doesn't have enough players. We only have 9 players! We have a practice match with Teikoku Gakkuen in three days. You need to win the game with Teikoku and if you don't the soccer club will be disbanded. "

I widen my eyes as I heard about the team. Sh!t, Teikoku will go to this school? Why? Because of Enji? Or is my uncle trying to trap me with his games? F*ck. I need answers.

"We refused. F*ck off." I said as I grabbed Enji's wrist and dragged him from this stupid scene.

But one thing is for sure.

He cannot see this side of me.

"That's for today. " I said as they picked up their water bottles and towel. I sat on the bench to catch my breath. My two bestfriends approached me with a concerned look.

"Yo, Are you alright? You're spacing out this week?"

I told them that I'm fine but they kept asking me about the issue. They left me, laughing because hey teasing about that but I gave them a dead panned look.

Jesus, I hope I didn't see that photo frame in commander's table at his office. It's been haunting me for the last week. my dreams, thoughts, sights. I can concentrate on academics and the training.

I want to ask him about her.

But I can't.
