07 ; Imitation Establishes Indecipherable Pother

Please try to ignore any grammar mistakes, I really rushed through this episode.

Odessa examined the accessible sewer with critical attention and furrowed brows, mouth slightly parted as she crossed her arms across her chest. She scoffed softly as her chocolate-shaded eyes flickered between both Sam and Dean with evident ambivalence. Tentative, Odessa inhaled sharply as she glimpsed downward at the sewer, the rusted metal shrouded with scattered leaves. Smacking her stained lips, she merely shook her head defiantly  as she looked at both brothers. "No, definitely not," She said, ignoring the heavy sighs from Sam and Dean. "There's no way I'm going down in there."

The young Guardian was aware she was boldly resisting their tolerance and innocent lives were currently at stake, but Odessa was unreasonably obstinate. Sam groaned as his fingers raked through his shaggy hair, eyes rolling as he shifted from foot to foot. Dean mumbled a string of incoherent curse words as he tightly closed his eyes, rubbing the space between his eyebrows. "Odessa," He breathed, "We don't have time for this. We need to look down there."

Internally, Odessa knew Dean was right, not that she'd express her wrongdoing aloud, she continued to appear unmoved by his efforts. Exasperated, Sam crouched to the floor, lifting the metal with ease and placed off to the side. Dean opened his mouth to retaliate his irritation, but was halted when Odessa held up her index finger. "Sorry, sweetheart," She conveyed, raising her brow. "But these heels cost more than both your outfits combined." Bewildered, Dean openly expressed his annoyance as he motioned to her ebony heels.

"Why are you wearing heels, anyway?" Odessa shrugged nonchalantly as she lifted her right foot, gazing adoringly at the straps that encircled her ankle. Truthfully, Odessa hadn't wanted to stain her satin stilettos, and she didn't necessarily want to trudge in inches of human bacteria.

Sharply, she responded as she glanced upwards at him, "There's nothing a Guardian can't do in heels." Although Odessa hadn't desired to enter the sewers, she wasn't going to allow innocent people to die merely because her satin heels were limited edition.

Arms sluggishly returning to her hips, Odessa firmly closed her eyes before re-opening them, peering down at the gaping entrance. Murmuring her profanities, she nodded apprehensively, ignoring the gratified expressions from Sam and Dean. Crouching, she solidly gripped the ladder that was encrusted in the concrete walls, carefully placing each foot on the metal ridges.

Upon releasing her grasp on the corrupted metal, Odessa craned her neck in both directions, grimacing in distaste at her surroundings. "I bet this runs right by Zach's house, too," Sam said, turning to face Odessa. "The shapeshifter could be using the sewer system to get around." Dean ambled to the opposite of where Odessa stood, expressing his sickened facial appearance.

"I think you're right," Dean stated, squatting as he fished for his pocketknife. "Look at this." Odessa furrowed her brows as she swiftly evaded the puddles of unidentified liquids. Coming to a halt as her knees came into contact with Sam's back, she scrunched her nose in indisputable revulsion. Raising her palm to conceal her mouth, uncertain if she was going gag or not, Odessa groaned softly. "What the hell is that?" She questioned as Dean gathered the slime from the floor with his knife.

"You know, I just had a sick thought. When the shapeshifter changes shape, maybe it sheds." Odessa shut her eyes as Dean tossed the glob of slime back on the gravel. "That is sick." Sam commented. Unsure if she could refrain her gags any longer, Odessa stepped away.

"Okay, I need to puke now."

Sam ambled from his position besides Dean and Odessa to answer his ringing phone, and found the opportunity to gaze intently at the eldest brother's rugged movements. He loaded the magazine with ease and seemed unaware of Odessa's roaming eyes. She descried his clean-cut features; such as his chiseled jawline that appeared more defined when clenched, his faint freckles scattered across his skin, glistening eyes in the shade of bright verdant.

Dean hastily glimpsed to his side, pausing his swift movements when he perceived Odessa's ambulatory eyes. He chuckled tensely as he gently placed both guns where he grabbed them. Breathlessly, Dean couldn't refrain himself from questioning her wandering movements. "What?" He asked, mentally cursing himself for his scratchy tone.

Odessa half-shrugged, reaching forward and grasping the grip of her semiautomatic handgun which now contained silver bullets. "Nothing," She said simply, tucking the loose strands of hair behind her ear. "Just admiring." As she stepped away from the trunk, she caught pieces of Sam's conversation.

Odessa nudged Dean's side, motioning for him close the trunk. She  trudged alongside Sam, resting beside him as she inhales slowly. "Sam, that's exactly what Dean and I are talking about," She stated, tone soft and gentle. "You lie to your friends because if they knew the real you, they wouldn't understand and would freak." Sam appeared soothed by Odessa's ability to soothe those to ease in a state of composure.

"It's just," Dean said, before pausing. "It'd be easier if—"

"If I were like you guys." Sam murmured, his tone distinctly somber.

Settling her palm on his shoulder, her facial expression is plastered with sympathy. "Sam, we're just not like other people, whether we like it or not," Pivoting to face Dean, she extended her hand outward, fingers curling around the grip of Sam's gun as Dean placed it on her palm. "But, we save people and it's pretty badass." Sam chuckled as the corners of his lips twitch upward.

"Come on, " She said, "We've got a son of a bitch to kill."

Odessa trudged ahead of Sam and Dean, relatively startling the duo, and shined the flashlight in all sorts of directions. The three returned to the sewers, much to Odessa's dismay, and remained in a complacent silence as they roamed through the variety of ominous tunnels. She chose to ignore the foul stench and puddles of mysterious liquids, coming to the conclusion she wasn't going to assist killing the shapeshifter if she were complaining of the stains on her satin heels.

"I think we're close to its lair." Dean declared, shattering the tranquility.

The young warrior, with her handgun aimed forward, came to a complete halt, flashing her flashlight in all directions in front of her. "What makes you say that?" She questioned, lowering her gun to her side.

"'Cause there's another puke-inducing pile next to your face." Disgust and horror is plastered on her face as she instantaneously reacted, swiftly stepping back.

Odessa released a low, mournful groan as her back came into contact with the damp walls, flashing the light on the pile skin and an other unidentified substance. She clutched her forearm and fiddled with the golden bracelet enwrapped around her skin. Dean directed his flashlight somewhere in front of where Odessa stood. "It looks like it's lived here for awhile." Scrunching her nose in displeasure, Odessa shook her head softly. The whole process of the shapeshifter's ability to change its appearance was sickening. "Who knows how many murders he's gotten away with." Sam said with a soft tone.

"Dean!" Sam suddenly shouted, and Odessa hastily pivoted to face the two, gasping as Dean is violently tossed to the rusted pipes connected to the walls, his head coming into contact with a distinct 'bang'. Odessa raised her weapon in the air, wasting no time to press down on the trigger. The shapeshifter barely dodged the bullet as he dashed away. When he could no longer perceive the creature, Sam assisted Dean to his feet, to which Dean shouted for him to chase him.

Odessa grasped Dean's shoulders, rapidly examining his face for any serious injuries. Nodding, mainly to herself, she sprinted in the direction where Sam had went and chose to ignore the splatters of sewage water splashing against her exposed skin. She climbed the rusted ladder and unintentionally bumped into Sam's back. Her chest heaved upwards and downwards as she searched in all directions. "All right, let's split up." Sam announced.

Odessa swiftly nodded and stepped forward to begin her search, but was gripped by Dean and pulled back beside him. She gazed at the eldest brother questioningly as she attempted to retract her arm back to her side. "Where are you going? You're coming with me." He asked, his grip unloosening around her wrist. She raised a brow, scoffing quietly.

"I'm going to go help find the shifter," She declared slowly, as if she were speaking with a young child. "I don't need you babysitting me." Odessa said as used her strength to yank herself out of Dean's grip. She rolled her eyes and huffed, resembling a child who hadn't gotten their way. Stomping off in the opposite direction, Odessa transitioned from a steady jog to a full-sprint, shocking those who stood by as she aimed her gun at those who appeared suspicious.

Turning around a corner, Odessa held her head high as the trashcan shifted loudly in another position. Raising her arms, Odessa was prepared to press the trigger. Slowing her pace, the Guardian focused her hearing to the simplest of sounds. She furrowed her brows as the rhythm of heavy breathing filled her ears. She sighed in relief as she lowered her hands to her side when noticing it'd been Dean. "You scared me," She said, smile demolishing as she noticed Dean hadn't slowed her pace and remained with his blank expression. "Dean, what the hell is—" She began but was stopped as 'Dean' slammed a pipe against her forehead and she was welcomed with darkness.

Odessa is awakened by the muffled mumbles of unknown voices and distinct pounding expanding throughout her skull. Eyelids fluttering leisurely, Odessa released a hushed groan as she scrunched her nose. Glancing down at her surroundings, the onyx-haired Guardian hadn't failed to notice the droplets of blood staining her cream-colored attire. She could only assume the blotches originated from where the pain blossomed. Raising her hand to clutch her scalp, she was restrained from the spiral ropes tightened around her wrists.

Delivering another reserved groan, Odessa sighed heavily as she observed her darkened surroundings. The reciprocated sound of beads of foul, stagnant water colliding with the damp floor created an ominous sensation and she only anticipated the incoming attack. However, no one emerged from the shadows and Odessa focused her attention to the suppressed voices. With the faint ringing remaining in her ears, she found it quite difficult to use her enhanced hearing.

Shuffling her restrained wrists, she was subdued by the questioning voices from the distance. "Essie," She'd never been referred as 'Essie' before, yet the familiarity of the man's tone was far too reassuring for her to protest. "Is that you?" Sam questioned, voice echoing as the sound waves bounced off the walls. She responded instantaneously and a ghostly smile erupted as she heard the deep chuckling from the eldest brother.

"It's good to hear your voice, Essie." The nickname rolled off Dean's tongue seamlessly and Odessa hadn't minded the contemporary title anymore. She attempted to wiggle her wrists from the constraints and was only resulted with stinging sensations. Sighing heavily, Odessa firmly closed her eyes, trying to restrain her obvious frustration. "Is it gone," She breathes, chest heaving from her efforts. "I can't escape if he's here." She says, signalling her bracelet to slither into its true form.

Dean is the first to question her cryptic words. "What," He inquired, craning his neck the farthest he could manage. "How?" Odessa remained silent as the snake slithered, encircling her forearm and down to her fingers, untangling the ropes. The corners of her lips twitched upwards as the spirals dangled from her fingertips minutes after her commands. Wiggling herself from the loose embrace, Odessa tossed the ropes to the side, standing upright on her heels.

She glanced at her tarnished attire with an evident frown; her once cream-shaded dress was tainted with smudges of soil and her blood. The fabric was torn and dangling from the seams and her shoes were in a far worse condition. Huffing loose strands of hair from her face, she trudged off to Sam's side and began to unravel his knots. He furrowed his brows as she concentrated on the ropes. Tossing the spirals to side, she smirked at his questioning gaze. She ambled to Dean's direction. "Guardians are given a weapon to symbolize them in battle," Odessa explained as she crouched to eye-level with the eldest brother. "Mine just happens to be a whip." She stated with a wink, causing Dean reveal his threatening smile.

As Dean is freed, Odessa halted and displayed the unraveling snake as the golden metal slithered around her forearm. The snake's minuscule tongue reflected the seeping moonlight as it silently hissed. Sam and Dean gazed intently at the bracelet and she retreated the bracelet around her wrist. "Come on," She said, "We can discuss your kink fetishes later."

After the trio's separation that included the law enforcement, Odessa reunited with Dean as she traveled throughout the night to return to the Impala. She was more than relieved to embrace Dean as they came to a halt near the rear of the car.

Currently trudging alongside the eldest brother, Odessa was displeased as Dean disobeyed Sam's demands and claimed he'd return to the sewers where he'd search for the shapeshifter. Much to her dismay, Odessa apprehensively agreed to accompany him. She hadn't known why she chose to comply with Dean's reckless decision, and though she knew her conclusion to defy Sam's desires, she didn't regret her choices. As they walked through the serene tunnels of the sewer, Odessa flashed her flashlight over the bundles of lit candles that aligned with one another.

She grimaced as she noticed another pile of skin settled near a heap of chains and possessions from those he's imitated from the past. As she observes the dusted items, Odessa's attention is brought to source of shuffling in the distance. Aiming her handgun, Odessa is swift to crouch under the large pipe and yank the tarpaulin from the body. Her eyes widened as she noticed it'd been Rebecca who was tied. Odessa listens intently to Rebecca explain how she was taken as she unties her.

As Rebecca is untied, Odessa shouted for Dean to assist her in guiding the blonde out of the tunnels.

Soon enough they reached Rebecca's home and Odessa hastily dashed into the home and shouted for the shapeshifter, hoping to gather its attention from Sam to her. 'Dean' released Sam's neck and Odessa didn't hesitate to shoot the monster. It goes flying back to the wall and she sighed in relief as 'Dean's' body no longer squirms.

Her arms return to her sides and she exhaled sharply. "Oh, fuck," Odessa muttered, "I need a drink."
