*Above Lake Matsu, Sam POV*

Me and Weiss are still sitting in the cargo bay, watching the view outside the window, that's until we pass the cliff and see a series of landmasses floating in the bright blue, partly cloudy sky, with black Dust crystals jutting out from the bottom of the rock formations. I'm stunned by the display, and so is Weiss. She stands up and heads towards the cockpit with me in tow

Weiss: "Where are we?" Pilot shakes his head

Pilot: "Nowhere good. Passing by some of Lake Matsu's floating islands. The gravity Dust that forms in these things is giving us a little turbulence. Nothing I can't handle, but the islands sometimes hide some nasty Grimm. I'm just betting on our friends in distress keeping them preoccupied"

Sam: "That's not exactly good to hear..." I then noticed a burning Mistralian ship coming our way "Incoming!"

The airship comes barreling from their right, narrowly hitting their cargo ship and forcing the pilot to pull upward to avoid it. The doomed craft proceeds to collide into one of the floating islands

Sam: "That must be one of the airships that was in trouble, and that means..." I trailed off, as we looked to the side. Pilot turns the radio back on to listen

???: "By the gods, we've lost Percy! Help!" a female pilot screams

We look to see another Mistralian airship, being pursued and attacked by... Lancer, is suddenly hooked from multiple directions by their extendable stingers, which leaves them trapped and unable to move in mid-air

???: "We're hooked! We're hooked! Everyone, abandon ship!"

After Lancers destroy that ship, they turned their attention to us

Sam: "Oh for fuck sake..."

Pilot: "Lancers. It had to be freaking Lancers. Alright, listen up-" he turns around to see me and Weiss jumping down the cargo bay "What are you two doing?!"

Weiss: "What we should've done in the first place. You're carrying Dust, right?" Weiss takes out her Myrtenaster while I get Bakuzan out of its sheet.

Pilot: "Officially, no. Actually, yes" Weiss opens up one of the containers in the cargo hold to find loads of Dust vials within, and uses them to load up her rapier on Dust.

Sam: "When we give you a sign, open up the cargo door!"

Pilot: "You'd better make it quick then!"

The ship starts to make some evasive maneuvers when the Lancers get closer and start firing off their stingers. The pilot manages to evade them, but they are only getting closer. Weiss then creates a black glyph to keep herself while I get some vines around my legs, keeping me steady. After that we ready our weapons

Sam: "Do it!"

The pilot opens up the cargo doors and Weiss creates an ice shard, firing it to take out one of the Lancers. One Lancer fires off its stinger straight at them, but I cut it off with Bakuzan. Weiss then switches to her fire Dust and fires off several fire balls, taking out a few more Grimm

Pilot: "Haha! Hold on!"

The airship makes a sharp turn near a large land mass, with the Lancers following close by. Weiss Weiss creates a set of smaller glyphs and fires off a few ice shards to take out four more Lancers. Meanwhile I shot thorny vines at Grimm, tying their wings and making them fall to the lake.

Sam: "Weiss, create an ice glyph!" She nods, after that I shoot a vine through it and it turns into a massive ice lance, impaling two Lancers "(Y/N) and Ruby have their Fire Rose, we have Ice Vines" I smile at her, and she returns the gesture. That's until we feel the ship shaking

Weiss: "*gaps* What was that?"

Pilot: "We're hooked!" I ran back up, and cut the two stinger right near the ceiling, freeing the ship "Thanks kid!" I nod and get back down to Weiss

Weiss: "Can you find a pair of islands we can fit between?!"

Pilot: "Kid, you are reading my mind!"

The ship then makes a sharp turn and heads towards two large land masses that are close together. Weiss nods to me as I nod back. She fires off a few fireballs. Weiss' shot hit the sides of the land masses, causing pieces of stone to fall off. The ship narrowly avoids them, but the Grimm aren't so lucky as they all crash into the falling debris and go tumbling down into the water.

Pilot: "Haha, alright!"

Weiss smiles and sighs in relief, while I sit down and give her a thumbs up. Our victory was however cut short as we heard more buzzing getting closer. And then... a Queen Lancer appear behind our ship

Sam/Weiss: "Queen Lancer!/It's a Queen Lancer!"

Pilot: "What?"

Sam: "That explosion must've woken it up!"

Weiss fires off some ice shards, while I send out a few vine lines. The combined attack knocks the Queen Lancer back a bit, but doesn't stop it from resuming its attack. It then counterattacks by firing off some bone shards from the sides of its head. I get in front of Weiss and spin my sword around to deflect the attack. However, some of the bone shards hit the ship's left wing and one of its thrusters, damaging it

Pilot: "Get that thing off of us. My ship can't take much more of that!"

Weiss looks back to the crates in the cargo hold and gets an idea. We get behind the crates and Weiss conjures up a few more glyphs behind them. The crates start to float into the air and then, using some wind Dust, Weiss blows all the crates out of the airship and towards the Queen Lancer, resulting in a massive Dust explosion. Just when we think it's over, the Queen Lancer emerges from the explosion, virtually unscathed. Weiss gasps

Sam: "Crap..."

Pilot: "I can see the shoreline! Gods, we're not gonna make it!

Sam: "Weiss! Summon something!"

She gets a determined expression on her face. Twirling her rapier and herself around a few times, she stabs her sword into the floor and creates a summoning glyph in front of her. A moment later, her Armas Gigas armor takes form and stands ready to fight.

Sam: "Pull up! Now!"

The ship speeds up to later turn upside down as Weiss summon jumps out. It drops down towards Queen Lancer as Weiss kneels down to concentrate. The ship does a full loop and now we're heading towards where they fight as Arma Gigas was attacking the Grimm with a combo of attacks from different angles. Queen Lancer later fires her stinger at us, but Weiss' summon deflects it, unfortunately it hits the ship's left wing. Armas Gigas makes several more combo attacks on the Grimm, and it finally ends with a cross slash through its body, killing the monster. The Armas Gigas disappear along with the Grimm. Me and Weiss heard a ring of alarm as the ship started falling down towards the shoreline. She creates some glyphs, trying to slow down the ship, but with little effect. Just before the crash I hug Weiss, protecting her from the eventual damage and then all I hear is a high pitched sound.

*3rd POV*

We can see Weiss crawling from the destroyed airship. She coughs a little

Weiss: "Sam... where are you?" she tries to call out. However, a pair of footsteps stop in front of her and she looks up to see one man with a rifle and another with a short blade "Please, help" The two men smirk

Man#1: "Well, what do you think?" they look back

???: "I think..." a female voice begins until Raven Branwen steps up into view. "We just hit the jackpot"

Weiss becomes very scared at that point and then Raven kicks her in the face, knocking her out

Raven: "Take the girl and her weapon. We're heading back to camp"

Sam: "Weiss..." Raven walks further into the debris to find him lying on the ground and kneels next to him... "You... You're Yang's mom..." she smirks before standing up

Raven: "And you're a Kiryuin. We're really lucky today" She kicks him in the face, knocking him out too "Take this one as well. We can get a good price for both of them"

Following her orders, bandits picks both Weiss and Sam and grab their weapons while Raven creates a portal for the group to pass through back to their camp

*(Y/N) POV, Mistral*

After our return Mako asked me to help Alice in the kitchen while he get to the living room. I notices she was staring at Oscar

(Y/N): "Hey, Wolfie. Someone caught your eye?" Alice blushes

Alice: "What?! No! I..." she stutter while I chuckle

(Y/N): "Want me to hook you up with Oscar?"

Alice: "No! I mean... can you?"

(Y/N): "Later, okay?" she nodded then I hear a commotion from the living room and I made my way there

Nora: "Did he age backwards?"

Jaune: "He's possessed!"

Ren: "Or reincarnated!"

Mako: "Or this is the real Ozpin controlling a robot Ozpin back in Beacon!"

Ruby: "Oh, isn't it weird?!" I enter the room to see whole Team RNJR + Mako huddled around Oscar, eager for answers as to how Oz was still alive

Oscar: "It is very weird, yes"

(Y/N): "It's even more weird when you surround a stranger kid with those weird looks on your faces" Then Qrow walks out of the kitchen with a cup

Qrow: "Matchstick is right. This is very overwhelming for everyone" Team RNJR + Mako step back and chuckle a little in embarrassment. Oscar then looks to Qrow

Oscar: "Thanks" We all take our seats, I sit with Mako on a couch to the left of the armchair Oscar is sitting

(Y/N): "I hope that's not booze, Big Bird"

Qrow: "Relax matchstick, even I can take a concept of moderation when it's needed" Qrow sits on my right as Ruby and Nora take a seat on the couch to Oscar's right. Oscar then shares a brief look with Ruby, who giggles, causing Oscar to blush as I growl

Oscar: "Ah, sorry! It's just I've never really met Huntsmen and Huntresses before"

(Y/N): "Oi! Kid! Are you hitting on on my girlfriend?" he gets scared as I look at him angry

Oscar: "N-no of course not! Well I-I mean" I smile at him

(Y/N): "I know. She is so beautiful no one can keep an eye from her" Ruby blushes

Ruby: "Cookie, stop. You're making me blush"

Nora: "Couples..."

(Y/N): "Besides I'm joking. It would be weird if Ruby would be willing to technically date our old headmaster" Oscar scraps his head

Oscar: "Heh, yeah, that would be kinda weird..." I lean in and whisper to him

(Y/N): "Besides, a certain Wolfy is interested in you kiddo. Don't break her heart or I will break your spine" Oscar gulps

Me and Oscar look at Alice doing dishes in the kitchen. She notices us as I wink and Oscar blush. Alice blush too and turns away

Qrow: "Not to break up the whole 'getting-to-know-you' and the 'wing-man' game, but we need to have a talk. Mind showing us your little parlor trick, kid?"

Oscar: "*groan* Yeah, okay. Just so you know, I'll still be here"

While mostly everyone else looks on in slight confusion, Oscar then lowers his head and closes his eyes. Suddenly, a green and white aura shines from his body for a moment, Oscar opens up his eyes, which are now glowing, and he smiles. When he speaks, they all hear a voice of Ozpin overlapping with a bunch of other voices, including Oscar's

Ozpin: "It is so very good to see you again, students" we all look at each other confused

Jaune: "Wait, what just happened?"

Ren: "Professor Ozpin?"

Ozpin: "Correct. And though I may be the one speaking, Oscar is still present mentally. He's merely handed over the control, so to speak. I'm afraid this all must be very perplexing"

Nora: "And alarming, and bizarre, and just really kind of hard to believe overall" Ozpin chuckles

Ozpin: "It's good to see you children still have your sense of humor" he frowns "I know you've all been through tremendous hardship already. I'm sorry"

Ruby: "I mean, it's not your fault"

(Y/N): "It kinda is" they look at me shocked "Oz, you told me I'm Fall's Guardian, you told me about nearly everything except for Relics and that you reincarnate. I now know why Combat Schools are a thing. You used students to guard Relics. I mean, why not just get trained Huntsman to guard it? Why us?"

Ruby: "(Y/N), that's enough"

(Y/N): "But... I believe it was for the best. If Salem would get her hands on Relics, it could mean the end of our world. I still doesn't make it clear why but-" Ruby cut me off

Ruby: "(Y/N), please"

Ozpin: "No, Miss Rose, (Y/N) is right. It's all my fault. I told you and Mr. (L/N) once that I've made more mistakes than any man, woman, and child on this planet, and I wasn't exaggerating. I'm... cursed. For thousands of years, I've walked the surface of Remnant, living, dying, and reincarnating in the body of a like-minded soul. The Professor Ozpin you all met was not my first form and clearly wasn't my last. It's... an extraordinarily strenuous process on everyone involved" Qrow heads back to the kitchen to grab something from it

Jaune: "So who, what, are you?"

Ozpin: "I am the combination of countless men who've spent their lives trying to protect the people of Remnant" Qrow returns with a cup of tea "With every rebirth, my soul is eventually merged with another and I am changed, but my memories stay with me. This curse was bestowed upon me by the gods because I failed to stop Salem in the past. But we must stop her now"

Mako: "And you have some kind of plan to accomplish this, right?"

Ozpin: "Indeed, Mr Mankanshoku. We start... by ensuring the safety of the Relic of Knowledge"

*Sam POV, Branwen Tribe camp*

I sit with my arms tied and my back against the cage. I look at Weiss, still unconscious. I then hear her groan, as she slowly opens her eyes

Sam: "Hey, sleeping beauty. I'm glad you're alright"

Weiss: "Sam?"

Sam: "The one and only"

Weiss: "You're okay!"

Sam: "Except that I have my hands tied and my sword is gone, yeah. I'm okay"

Weiss then looks around and notices the bandits from earlier that took them, sitting by some crates with a fire. One of them is drinking while keeping my sword with him, while the other notices Weiss waking up.

Bandit: "Well, well, well, look who's awake" he smirks saying it

Weiss: "Wha... what's going on? Where are we?" she asks me

Sam: "*sigh* We've been captured by bandits and taken hostage at their camp"

???: "You know..."

We turn to the source to see a woman exiting a nearby tent, carrying Weiss' weapon in her hand. The female is a young woman with tan-colored skin, short brown hair and icy blue eyes. She has a tattoo of a bird rising from flowers on her left arm. She is wearing a brown vest over a torn white shirt, with a collar that appears to spike up behind her neck. She has on maroon-colored pants with the right side rolled up to her thigh. She is also wearing dark brown knee guards that go down to her brown boots

???: "I never thought I'd see a Schnee in this camp. Not saying anything about Kiryuin"

Bandit: "Vernal?" the duo of bandits stand at attention

The woman now known as Vernal walks over to the cage, holding Myrtenaster in her hand. Weiss and I stand up, while Vernal captor admires her weapon

Weiss: "What do you want?"

Vernal: "Straight to the point. I like it. We don't normally deal in trafficking people, not really worth our time. But, once we realized we had a Schnee and a Kiryuin, that changed" she points Weiss rapier at us

Weiss: "You're going to ransom me back to my father, is that it?"

Vernal: "It's a shame you're a Schnee. You'd probably do quite well around here. And your boyfriend here" she looks at me "We could find an use for a guy like you"

Weiss: "I would never sink to your level"

Sam: "I just wonder what use you would find for me? Attacking and destroying villages? Killing innocent people?" Vernal frowns

Vernal: "Just keep quiet you two and cooperate and you'll be back in your mansions before you know it" she turns to leave but Weiss stops her

Weiss: "What's going to make this complicated is when my sister finds out I didn't make it to Mistral. You know my sister, don't you? Winter Schnee? Special Operative of the Atlas Military? She's in Mistral now, and when she hears I'm missing, it won't take her long to find us - and you" this only makes the two bandits nearby to start laughing, leaving Weiss confused "What's so funny?" Vernal turns around, laughing a bit

Vernal: "Oh, I don't know if it's more funny or sad, but you're clearly out of the loop. Your sister isn't in Mistral anymore. No Atlas personnel are in Mistral anymore. General Ironwood closed the borders and recalled all his little troops and tin cans. No one is coming to rescue you two"

Sam: "Maybe no one from Atlas personnel, but I know one Atlesian who will come for us" Vernal loses her smile a bit

Vernal: "And that would be?"

Sam: "Oh you know, a scythe wielding, club burning living torch. My leader, (Y/N) (L/N)" Bandits laugh again " I wouldn't laugh if I were you"

Vernal: "Haha. I highly doubt one measly kid can do anything to us" Now it's my time to laugh, leaving everyone confused "What's so damn funny?" I get the tear out of my eye

Sam: "Heh.. You mean, your leader didn't tell you? Have you ever heard about Guardians?"

Weiss: "Who?"

Vernal: "And what does it have to do with him?"

Sam: "Oh my, this is even better. When he learns that we're here he'll come for us, and for you" I point at her "And when he does, your tribe will be nothing more than ashes and cinders. After all... He is Fall's Guardian"

Vernal: "What?! You're lying!"

Sam: "Oh, so she told you about them? Too bad. Just imagine what someone with such a power can do to your little pack. If you are still in doubt, ask your leader about Albert (L/N). She should know about him" I smirk at her

Vernal just glares at me for a moment before she leaves, while the other two bandits just glance at each other in worry. I and Weiss retreat to the other side of the cage, with our backs to the bandits to have a more private conversation.

Weiss: "What was that back there?"

Sam: "A distraction for what I hope can buy us some time while we plan our escape. If you like this place, you can stay"

Weiss: "No, not that. What do you mean that (Y/N) is a Guardian? I thought Guardians are just a legend"

Sam: "Well, it's not. (Y/N) told me this before my departure to Atlas"

Weiss: "If Guardians are real, then... Maidens from the Story of the Seasons are too..."

Sam: "That's still to see. Now, let's think how to get out of here" she nods and we starting to plan

*(Y/N) POV, back in Mistral*

Nora: "This is perfect! We were stuck at a dead end after visiting the school, but now, we can just take little cute boy Ozpin to Lionheart and have him set things straight!" she jumps in joy

Ozpin: "Please don't call me that"

Qrow: "We're not sure that's the best idea right not" Nora groans and goes to sit next to Ruby

Ren: "Bit I thought the headmasters all took their orders from you"

Ozpin: "That was the intention. Four lieutenants I can trust, especially during times of reincarnation. But Qrow told me about your earlier meeting with Leonardo. He isn't just behaving irrationally, he's disobeying specific instructions I had left him" he stands up and walks toward a painting of Mistral on the wall "Something's wrong. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but I don't want to rule out any possibilities, either. No one outside of this room knows that I've paired with Oscar, and I think it may be best to keep it that way"

Qrow: "Play things close to the chest until we get a better hand"

(Y/N): "*sigh* As much as I still have some unanswered questions, Oz and Qrow are right. Lionheart was behaving weird when we first met him. When I asked him about Spring's Guardian's powers, he said he doesn't remember" I turn to Ozpin "Oz, what would happen if the Guardian doesn't not have a male offspring? Where would their power go? Also, why didn't you tell me you know about Spring's Guardian?"

Ozpin: "It's the very same reason we kept Maidens out of the public view. I didn't tell you because I assumed I told you enough for one day. As to his powers, Spring's Guardian can control flora. And if he didn't have a son, his power would go to a person having a similar semblance..."

(Y/N): "You don't tell me-"

Ozpin: "Although I had a suspicion, it later became clear when I saw your fight against Mrs. Bubblegum and Mr. Gold-Dust during Vytal Festival. The current Spring Maiden Guardian is... Samuel Kiryuin" we all gasp in shock"

Mako: "Sam is a Guardian? Like (Y/N)?"

Jaune: "But Sam can only control vines and bushes!"

Qrow: "Didn't you hear? Spring's Guardian can control flora and that kid match the description"

Ozpin: "Speaking of Mr. Kiryuin, where is he?"

Ruby: "(Y/N) said he went to Atlas to get Weiss out" I nod

(Y/N): "Me and my team planned to meet up here in order to start an investigation. He should be here soon, as well as Ryze. I just hope he will come here with Yang"

Ozpin: "I see. In that case we will start and when Mr. Kiryuin and Mr. Matoi get here, I will tell them everything" he turns to us "Now, we have two steps ahead of us. With that in mind, the first is enlisting the aid of more Huntsmen"

Ren: "But the Mistral council-"

Qrow: "Doesn't own every Huntsman in the Kingdom, and I've been here enough times to know where we can find some more"

(Y/N): "Well... I lived nearby for seven years. I've met some Huntsman and Huntresses here who doesn't take a damn about politicians that do nothing, but sit around and fart in the stool" Ruby snickers

Ruby: "Pff. Fart" I smile at her

Ozpin: "So long as they're trustworthy"

Qrow: "You can trust them to put up a good fight. I'll throw together a list tonight" he puts his leg on the coffee table, only for it to have one of its legs brake off as the whole thing fall to the ground

Nora: "Good luck with that"

Mako: "You have to pay for that, Qrow"

Ozpin: "Mr. Mankanshoku, did you tell your sister about our mission?"

Mako: "No. She may been in Signal and now she attends Sanctum, but it's still too dangerous for her"

Ozpin: "Good. While I saw a great potential in her while she was in Signal, she is still just a child. It is for her own protection that she remains unaware about our mission. Now then, back on topic. After recruiting more Huntsmen to our side, we can move on to step two

Nora: "What's step two?" she stands up. Ozpin then grabs his cane before turning back to them"

Ozpin: "Getting your group into fighting shape" we look at each other in confusion

Ruby: "But, uh, we already know how to fight" Ozpin aims his cane at Ruby

Ozpin: "You can only fight so long as you have Crescent Rose, but you're still lacking in hand-to-hand combat, Miss Rose. You need to improve your hand-to-hand combat skills to truly improve as a Huntress"

(Y/N): "'Lacking' is a wrong word. Ruby has no idea about hand-to-hand..."

Ruby: "Hey!" she yells, offended, while Ozpin points his cane to Jaune

Ozpin: "Mr. Arc, I'm glad to hear you've improved with your swordsmanship and upgraded your weapon. However, I am a little disappointed to hear that you've yet to unlock your semblance. The four of you all have much to learn if you are to improve and be more prepared for the battles that lie ahead. And though Oscar can give me temporary control, he'll need to strengthen his body and his aura. He'll inherit my muscle memory in time, but practice will expedite the process"

Ruby: "What about (Y/N) and Mako?"

Ozpin: "Mr. Mankanshoku is still getting used to his new eye. As for you, Mr. (L/N). I heard from Qrow that you successfully activated Fall's Guardian's powers" I nod "You will need to focus on mastering it now. From what I know, Albert had a notebook with everything he-" Mako cut him off

Mako: "You mean this?" He shows us a notebook with 'For (Y/N)' on it "It came with my prosthetic eye"

Ozpin: "This is a pleasant surprise I must say. (Y/N), I suggest reading this entire notebook before trying anything"

(Y/N): "Will do Oz"

Ruby: "But if Qrow's out looking for Huntsmen, then who's going to teach us?"

Ozpin suddenly jumps into the air with his cane, spinning counterclockwise into a barrel roll before landing onto the seat of the armchair, twirling his cane with style and a smirk, making members of Team RNJR surprised

Ozpin: "Well, I believe I was the headmaster of Beacon Academy. And we have here two of the most skilled students from Beacon" he points his cane to me and Mako "And while Mr. Mankanshoku can't help you given his situation, (Y/N) is more than capable of helping you" they look at me, while I just smirk and crack my knuckles "We have approximately one month before classes resume at Haven. If Salem were to plan an attack, it would make sense that it would occur prior to students' return. It's not much time, but it's better than nothing. Just don't expect me to go easy on you"

(Y/N): "Or me. Right, Jaune?" Jaune gulps

Ruby: "Cookie... are you..."

(Y/N): "Not even being my girlfriend will save you, Petals. I will work you to the bone if needed"

Nora: "Oh come on. I'm sure (Y/N) is not that bad. Right? Guys?" she looks at scared Jaune

Jaune: "It's that bad Nora..."

Just then his eyes glow green for a moment, a sign of him switching control back to Oscar. Oscar has a hard time keeping his balance on the armchair and quickly falls backwards, taking the chair with him and landing hard on the floor.

Oscar: "*groan* You've gotta be kidding me" he mutters as everyone looks at him. Some with worry, some with confusion while I just shake my head and walk to him, helping him up

(Y/N): "Careful Oscar, you have a lot to learn" I get him up while Mako get the armchair back up

Oscar: "Thanks"

(Y/N): "Don't sweat it. You'll need all the help you can get. Fighting terrorists, criminals and dark monsters isn't easy, y'know?" he gulps "Welcome to the team"

*Sam POV, Branwen Tribe's camp*

Sam: "And then we will just ran in random direction, away from this place"

As bandits passed out from the booze they drunk, me and Weiss were going over the plan to escape

Sam: "Ready, Snowflake?" she nods and opens her hands to create a small summon glyph. Soon a small version of Arma Gigas stands on her hands, with a weapon ready to strike. She stares at it for a while before smirking and nodding

*Ryze POV, next day*

Me, Yang and this shady guy from the gas station are moving down a dirt path. She drives her motorcycle while I fly behind her with this guy, holding him by his clothes as he hangs down

Shady Guy: "Do I really have to be carried like this? It's so stupid"

Ryze: "If you want, I can hold you by one of your ankles and drag your face across the dirt while I fly"

Shady Guy: "No thanks. I'm good"

Ryze: "Then shut the fuck up unless it's to tell us where to go next" Yang glances behind

Yang: "Speaking of which, how much further, pal?" The shady guy takes a quick look around

Shady Guy: "This should be good. Pull up to a stop up ahead" he points ahead of us. A second later, Yang pulls over and stops her bike while I drop the guy on the ground and land. "You two wait here. I'll scout ahead and make sure the coast is clear" Yang pulls her shades down a it and shakes her head as I walk next to her

Ryze: "You know it's a trap, right?"

Yang: "Yep" she said popping the 'p' as I shrug

Ryze: "I will take out my blades then"

Yang takes off her shades, her sleeves, and her coattails and puts them on her bike before doing some stretches. I put my jacket there too and rolled my shoulder a bit, before grabbing both of my blades. However, someone tried to shoot me, but I got my blades to block it. We then turn around to see the shady guy return, along with a bunch of other bandits, surrounding us, and each carrying either swords, rifles, or barehanded

Shady Guy: "Man, I can't believe you two actually fell for it; having me bring you here"

Yang: "Is this everyone?" the shady guy chuckles

Shady Guy: "Yes, little lady. This is it. Well, unless you count the whole rest of the camp back that way"

Yang: "That way?" she points at the same direction, confusing the bandits

Shady Guy: "Yes, that way"

Yang: "Good to know, thanks"

Shady Guy: "Now then, to pay me back for this tooth. We're gonna take your bike. And you're gonna take your lumps"

Shady Guy claps his fist a bit as they step closer. Yang looks at her left hand before flexing it down, activating her left gauntlet. This makes the bandits seem a little more hesitant, before shady guy pulls out his pistol

Shady Guy: "You may have gotten the jump on me last time, but-" Yang activates the gun mechanism in her right arm, stopping him "But I wouldn't-" this time I get both of my blades out of the case with a shling, shutting him again

Ryze: "You know, we mostly had a peaceful journey, so stretching out our legs would be a good idea. Just don't go down easily, will ya?"

Shady Guy: "Okay... Get them!"

Yang calmly walks forward as one bandit comes at her. He throws a right punch, only for Yang to easily deflect it, throwing a left punch to his stomach, followed by a low sweep kick to his feet, knocking him into the air. She finishes him off with a hard, downward punch to the ground. One bandit comes in from behind with a short blade, but I come in and deflect the blade before spinning around, and hitting the guy with the dull side of my blades. Then I took the flight as two bandits tried to shoot me down, but I'm too fast for them. Making my way to them, evading their shots. Two quick slashes to the torso and they get out of the balance. I start to flew back and forth, slashing at them quickly

'I owe (L/N) a beer for coming with this technique' I smile to myself mentally while continuing my quick attack'

Meanwhile, Yang sees a pair of bandits, a male and a female, with blades coming at her from the front. She gets low and swings her legs around to knock them back and then flips into the air above them. She makes a downward kick on the female bandit, and then makes a right uppercut to her skull, sending her flying. She then blocks a sword strike from the male bandit, and then makes a few punches to his chest and face before getting knocked down by a left hook. I see one more bandit coming at me with a blade drawn. I turn my blades into an assault rifle. A quick round to the torso made him stumble, while I flew to him, hit him in the stomach with a stock of my rifle and later swung it at his neck, knocking him out.

Yang avoids a shot fired by the shady guy and growls a bit. He fires off his pistol again, only for the weapon to jam up, making him worry. Yang backhands one bandit coming at her from behind and then fires off her weapons to shoot her over to him. He takes a swing at her with the blade on his pistol when she gets close, but she fires off her left gauntlet at the ground to propel her over him in a twirl. She lands behind him and throws a hard, right haymaker at him sending him flying into another bandit that just managed to get back up. She easy up her trembling left hand as I get my blades back to their case. She then starts to walk to her motorcycle as I get my jacket back on. Then the shady guy gets up on his knee

Shady Guy: "Who the Hell are you two? It doesn't matter. When Raven finds out what you did, you're dead" he smiles

Yang: "*sigh* Possibly. But I doubt it I am her daughter after all" I chuckled

Ryze: "If I were you I'd worry what Raven would do to you when she finds out you attacked her daughter" and I chuckle a little more

Shady Man: "I'm dead" and he pass out

*(Y/N) POV, Mistral*

The next morning after Ozpin told us the plan, we went outside. Currently Oscar and Ruby spar as I read the notebook, keeping one eye on the fight

(Y/N): "Too obvious!" Ruby groans as she tries to round kick Oscar. I think I annoy her by pointing out every mistake she made.

Oscar tries an uppercut, but Ruby gets out of the way and later blocks two hooks from Oscar. She later tries to deliver a punch of her own, only for Oscar to duck, making her lose balance

(Y/N): "Bad stance!"

Ruby: "Shut up!" she then tries to swipe Oscar, but he jumps over her leg. They continue to spar as I, Jaune and Nora observe them while Ren meditates nearby. Mako and Alice went to do some grocery shopping for the dinner

Jaune: "Man, Oz wasn't kidding. Oscar is picking up this stuff fast"

(Y/N): "Yup, kid is starting to show skill"

We then hear a sound of a punch landing. We look up to see Ruby recoils from said punch. Oscar not expecting the hit to land backs away slightly shocked as Ruby's anger grew

Oscar: "Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry!"

(Y/N): "Duck next time Petals!"

This seems to trip the point of Ruby's anger. She rush to strike Oscar once more, with more speed and cruelty as Oscar dodges each punch while apologizing

Ruby: "Aren't you supposed to be rooting for me here?!"

(Y/N): "I always root for the underdogs. Besides I only point out your mistakes"

Ruby: "Why didn't you point out Oscar's mistakes?!"

Before I could respond Ruby finally landed a hit, sending Oscar to the ground with a large thud and a grunt. Ruby seemed too happy about this, as she starts jumping happily with her hands in the air

Ruby: "Ha, yes! I did it!"

(Y/N): "Petals, you just knocked out a farm boy without any combat experience" she then stops cheering for herself and turns to Oscar with concern

Ruby: "Oscar?" After probably saying something to Ozpin, Oscar sits up as his eyes flash for a moment, signaling Ozpin is now in control

Ozpin: "Not bad, Miss Rose. But like Mr. (L/N) said, Oscar doesn't have the years of training that you do. Or I do" Ozpin engages his Aura and stands up, making Ruby lose all the confidence

Ruby: "Oh, ha, well, maybe we should uh, take a break"

(Y/N): "200 Lien on Ozpin, Nora?"

Nora: "Oh, you are on!" Ruby turns to me

Ruby: "You're now betting against me?!"

Ozpin wastes no time, rushing Ruby head on, throwing blow after blow at her. Ruby can't do anything except to go for the defense. She tries the best to block, but Ozpin lands another blow to the face, sending Ruby back. Ozpin then closes the gap between them, rushing Ruby and sending a kick to the side of her head, knocking her to the ground. Cannot accept her defeat, Ruby rushes at Ozpin with a lunge, only for him to duck under it and deliver a headbutt, knocking her to the ground once more, this time for good

Nora: "Ouch"

(Y/N): "*ekhm*" Nora grunts and reluctantly hands me 200 Lien "Pleasure doing business with you"

Ozpin: "The next time you want to throw a left cross, remember to push off with the appropriate foot. And as always, do be aware of any openings"

Ruby: "Got it" she gets up, giving me a pout as I walk over to her.

(Y/N): "You're improving, Petals. But you still have a long way before you" I say while I brush off the dust from her hair and clothes "Here you go. Good as new" then I kiss her head, while she giggles in the meanwhile. Then we hear a gasp as Oscar falls to his knees, panting heavily. We make our way to him

Ruby: "Oh hey, are you okay?"

(Y/N): "You want some water Oscar?"

Oscar: "Yes please"

(Y/N): "Nora!" she threw me a bottle of water as I pass it to Oscar

Oscar: "Thanks" He drinks some water "How is this so exhausting?" I helped him up. Then Ren spokes

Ren: "Your body isn't used to this kind of training, not to mention generating a defensive Aura on your own. It takes intense concentration at first, but in time it will become second nature, allowing you to deflect attacks and gradually heal your wounds. After that, you can begin focusing on your Semblance, whatever that may be"

Oscar: "Semblance?" Nora gets near us

Nora: "You know! Like your very own superpower! Everybody's got one. It's just a matter of finding it and mastering it. Ruby moves super fast, Electricity makes me stronger, Ren can mask emotions, (Y/N) can generate and control fire, Mako can bend metal with his will and Jaune can... uhm...um"

(Y/N): "Look good in a dress? I think it's a good trait" I start to snicker, remembering the sight of Jaune in the dress "You know, Ryze recorded it all on his scroll"

Jaune: "Hey! New kid doesn't need to know about that! Besides... I can't do-" Ruby cuts him off

Ruby: "Jaune's like you!"

(Y/N): "He looks good in a dress?"

Ruby: "Quiet you!"

She grabs Oscar by the wrist and pulls him over to Jaune

Ruby: "He hasn't found his Semblance yet, but we all know he will. And you will, too. We all just have to try and help each other get stronger"

(Y/N): "I mean, sooner or later everyone get a superpower of his own"

Oscar: "(Y/N). What powers do your teammates have?"

(Y/N): "Well, Sam can control plants and Ryze can fly"

Oscar: "Fly?" I nod "I bet he was happy to get it. It'd be awesome to be able to fly"

(Y/N): "He thought it was useless. But back in Beacon we came with some techniques and now he is what I call a 'combat plane' of my team" I smile and then Ren spokes again

Ren: "A common philosophy is that a warrior's Semblance is a part of who they are. Some say your personality and character can define your Semblance while some claim that it is the other way around. Of course, there are still many who don't see a connection at all"

Nora: "It's hard to know when you know sometimes. Ren's Semblance was unlocked from intense stress"

Ruby: "And mine kicked in during training one day"

(Y/N): "I got mine during one of the colder days in Atlas. I was really cold and wanted to warm my hands. It was a really funny day in the kindergarten afterwards"

Ruby: "You didn't hurt any kids, do you?"

(Y/N): "Just one kid who was bullying a sheep Faunus girl. I think her name was Fiona or something along the lines. Don't worry, his hair grew back after a month" Ruby puts her hand to her forehead

Ruby: "*sigh* What am I gonna do with you?" Oscar turns to Nora

Oscar: "And what about you?"

Nora: "Oh. Struck by lightning. Didn't die. Craaaazy Thursday"

Jaune: "I just don't understand what's wrong with me. I train. I meditate" Oscar's eyes glows again, signaling Ozpin is now in control

Ozpin: "Don't worry, Mr. Arc. Your journey is far from over. And the same might be said for all of you. Unlocking your Semblance isn't the end. It can still grow and evolve as can be seen by (Y/N) development of his Guardian's traits. Providing you're willing to put in the work, who knows what could happen"

Ruby: "Then let's get back to it"

(Y/N): "How about this, Petals. If you land a hit on me in hand-to-hand, I will treat you with a dinner"

Ruby: "So, if I hit you, you and I will go on a date?" she blushes a little while I nod "Only two of us?" I nod again "And you will pay for everything I order, right?" I nod the third time "And what if I lose?"

(Y/N): "Then I will train you till the sunset" Ruby slumbers forward

Ruby: "What?! It's only eight in the morning!" she whines

(Y/N): "Then you better land that hit, okay?" She nods and we walk forward, ready to spar

*Ryze POV, Branwen Tribe camp*

Me and Yang walk into the bandit's camp with three bandits to our escort. Other bandits inside watch us with interest and join our group in heading to the center of camp, where a large red tent stands in front of us. The bandits spread out, forming a large circle around me and Yang. Some woman comes out to see what's up and stands near the tent

*Sam POV*

We heard the commotion in the camp, as our guards stop their card play in order to check what's going on. We took this as our chance to escape. Weiss again summons Arma Gigas while I create a small vine golem as they both start working at breaking the cage bars, getting us closer to freedom

*Ryze POV*

We get to our destination and wait for a while. Then a woman with raven black hair exits the tent. She was wearing a Grimm mask on her head

Yang: "Mom"

Ryze: "Raven" Raven removes her mask

Raven: "Yang. So, after all this time you finally decided to visit me. And I see you brought a boy with you. Just who is he?"

Ryze: "Name's Ryze Matoi. Yang's boyfriend"

Raven: "Is that so?" Yang's left hand starts to shake again and she holds it for a moment before speaking

Yang: "You know that I searched for you. I spent years looking for you"

Raven: "And you've found me. You were patient, determined, and strong enough to make your dream a reality. I suppose I can give your boyfriend a little credit for giving you some help on finding me. Well done, Yang, but did you have to be so rough with my men?" she smirks

Ryze: "Hah. I'd hardly call that one toothless idiot a man. Shrimp at the best. You should do a little sorting around your soldiers, Raven"

Yang: "We didn't want to fight. They started it"

Ryze: "And they did get their ass handed"

Raven: "Well, you certainly finished it" A silence occurs for a while "Right. Well, I'm sure this is all very overwhelming. But I must admit that you've proven yourself, both of you. So, any questions you have, I'll be happy to answer. You can stay with us tonight. I'll even have the cooks whip you two up something to eat as well. Considering your connection with my daughter, I'll let you stay too, Ryze"

Yang: "That's not why we're here"

Raven: "What was that?"

Yang: "I'm not here for you. Ruby and (Y/N) are somewhere in Mistral. They're with Qrow, and they're going to need our help. I just need you to take us to them"

Ryze: "I promised (L/N) we will be there. I won't stop until I make it"

Raven: "And why should I help you?"

Yang: "Because we're family" Raven scowls

Raven: "Family. Only coming around when they need something. I have to say, I'm disappointed. After all, you found me, didn't you? Why not take that drive and use it to find your little sister if she really means that much to you?" She turns to me "Or you, why not use your Semblance to reunite with your leader?"

Yang: "Because you're going to save us time. Ruby and (Y/N) were heading to Mistral, but there's no guarantee they've made it there. Looking for them in Anima could take ages. But, Dad told me how your Semblance works"

Raven: "Tai" she said under her breath

Yang: "You can bond to certain people. And when you do, you could create a portal that takes you straight to them. You've got one for Dad. One for me. And you've got one for Qrow. He promised me he'd watch out for Ruby before he left. And I trust him, just like I trust (Y/N). So, make a portal to the three of them, and we'll get out of your hair"

Raven: "You know, it takes real strength to march in here and demand such a favor of me. I've got to say, I'm impressed. It's very noble to want to help out your sister. But if she's with Qrow, then she's already a lost cause"

Yang: "What does that mean?"

Raven: "You don't want to get mixed up in all of that, Yang. Ozpin is not the man you think he is. And Qrow is a fool for trusting him. I would know, I trusted him once, too. As for little (L/N), his father had some doubts about Ozpin, but decided to trust him, which led to his death"

Yang: "I don't care what you think"

Raven: "Your choice is your own. All I'm suggesting is that instead of getting wrapped up in something too big for you, for any of us, that maybe you take a moment to wonder if you're already where you belong" She turns to me "And what about you? Do you trust Ozpin, Ryze? Why should you have to follow him into a battle that you can't win? A battle that was never yours to begin with?" me and Yang glance around

Yang: "You can spout off whatever nonsense you want, but nothing is going to keep me from getting to my sister" she narrows her eyes

Ryze: "To be honest, I don't trust Ozpin, and so do (Y/N). This man hid a lot of things from us. But, I do trust (Y/N)'s judgement. And if he thinks that teaming with Ozpin is what's for the best, I will follow him through the flame"

Raven: "Well, aren't you two stubborn"

Yang: "I get it from my mom"

Ryze: "And I'm a stubborn son of a bitch since my birth"

Raven: "Well, if that's how you two feel, then it sounds like we're done here. Escort Yang out of my camp, but take the other one and throw him in the cage"she begins to walk back inside

Yang: "Wait what?!" Raven turns around

Raven: "You've made your choice here. But I could use Ryze. If what the other boy said it's true, (Y/N) would do anything to rescue his teammates. And I could use a Fall's Guardian by my side. Sounds like a fair trade, wouldn't you say?" Bandits start to surround us

Ryze: "How do you even want to make (Y/N) join you?"

Raven: "I know what happened to his father. After he'd hear it, I'm sure he would join me without a second thought"

Ryze: "Okay. Your mom sucks" I whisper to Yang

Yang: "Didn't you hear us? "Raven stops and turns around "I said send us to Qrow, damn it!" her eyes turns red

Bandit: "That's enough! You watch your mouth in front of our leader!" he threatens us with a blade

Ryze: "You think we're scared of your little toothpick? Come and make us motherfucker!"

The bandit charges at me. I duck and Yang punches him in the face, sending him flying into a tent, making it fall to the ground and revealing... Ice Queen and Sam"

Weiss: "Yang?"

Sam: "Ryze?" we turn to them

Yang: "Weiss?"

Ryze: "Sam? What the fuck are you doing here?" bandits get confused

Weiss: "All right, well, subtlety is out"

Sam: "I agree"

Weiss uses her semblance to make her summon or something, I don't really know what it is, to grow to a massive size, breaking them out of the cage. Sam sends out some vines to take out the two bandits guarding them. He then runs for his sword

Sam: "I'll be taking this back" They get near us, as we stand back to back

Yang: "What is that?"

Ryze: "I have the same question. Since when do you know how to do that Ice Queen?"

Weiss: "Don't worry about it. What are you two doing here?"

Ryze: "Well, long story short, that's Yang's mom" I point to Raven

Yang: "And she can take us to Ruby and (Y/N)" Weiss looks at Raven, and then I think it hit her

Weiss: "Your mom kidnapped me?!" Yang looks at Raven

Yang: "You kidnapped her?!"

Ryze: "How the hell did you even get kidnapped, bro?"

Sam: "Long story" We get ready to charge the enemy, as they're getting closer. That's until a lightning strikes the ground between us and them

???: "Enough!"

Ryze: "Um, who are you?" Sam leans towards me

Sam: "Vernal, some kind of Raven's right hand" he whispers

Ryze: "Ohhh"

Raven: "If you people don't get it together, this place will be swarming with Grimm... Give the girl her weapon back" Vernal is surprised by this order, but compiles and tosses Myrtenaster back to Weiss, who catches it with a smile "The four of you. In my tent, now"

Yang: "Why?"

Raven: "If you're really going after your sister and (Y/N), then you need to know the truth" she turns around and enters her tent as bandits scatter around

Yang: "Sorry about-" Weiss cut her off by a big hug, surprising Yang

Weiss: "I missed you so much" she said almost in tears as Yang hugs back

Yang: "I missed you too" Me and Sam just observe them with a smile

Sam: "So..." I turn to him to see he opens his arms

Ryze: "*groan* Fine, come here" we bro hugged

Sam: "I missed you, Ryze"

Ryze: "Same, same. It's good to get a half of Team CRMS together"

Sam: "Yeah. I guess our other half is already in Mistral" we broke the hug

Ryze: "Heh. Yeah" then Weiss looked at me "Sup Ice Que-" she hugged me tightly "Hey, from where does it come from?"

Weiss: "Shut up you dolt! I was missing you too!" I hug back

Ryze: "I can't say I wasn't. It's good to see you too, Weiss" I looked over Weiss to see Yang and Sam facing each other

Yang: "Sam"

Sam: "Yang" and they hug too

Sam: "It's good to see you, Yangster. I like what you did to your new arm"

Yang: "Thanks. It's good to see you too, Vine Boy"

We all break the hugs and see Weiss' summon disappear

*(Y/N) POV, back in Mistral*

Ruby: "I did it! I did it, I did it, I did it!" She jumps happily as I wipe my face. She later points at me "And you, mister, owe me a date!" she states proudly with a gleeful grin

(Y/N): "Heh, fine. Go get ready" she nods, and walks inside "And Crescent Rose stays here!"

Ruby: "Only if Mortem stays too!" I smile and shake my head

(Y/N): "Okay!"

*Timeskip*

Me and Ruby walk alongside each other, our hands intervene as she slightly leans against me. It's now afternoon

(Y/N): "So, Petals, what do you wanna do first?"

Ruby: "How about we go see that weapons stand we saw before visiting Professor Lionheart? And after that we can go for dinner. It's getting late"

(Y/N): "There is a nice restaurant nearby. Perfect for a pretty lady like you, ma belle Rose" I gave her a wink saying this, as she giggles

'Heh, she and her adorable giggle'

Ruby: "Sweet talker"

(Y/N): "If saying the truth is a crime, then I'm guilty"

We share a quick kiss as we continue walking. Ruby snuggles herself closer to me while we walk. We spend our time walking from stall to stall, inspecting every weapon we found. That's until Ruby spotted something

Ruby: "Cookie, I think I found something for you"

(Y/N): "Huh?"

She drags me towards a stand with clothes. Then she gets a blue hooded cloak from the hanger

A/N Something like this, but it only reaches to (Y/N) knees

(Y/N): "Petals, I think cloaks are your thing. I'm more like a leather jacket or duster type of guy"

Ruby: "Try it on! I assure you, you will look good"

(Y/N): "The things I do for love... Okay, give it to me" I put it on over my leather jacket "Hmm. It's surprisingly comfy"

Ruby: "See! I told you! Now we are..." she put her hood on and mine too "The Hooded Couple" she said after covering herself in her cloak like a spy while I chuckle and she giggles

(Y/N): "Sure, it's not like I'll get stuck by it. Just like you to that Nevermore's feather back at the initiation"

Ruby: "It was a one time thing. And you look really good"

(Y/N): "So, you want me to buy it or-" she slams 200 Lien on the counter "From where did you get money?"

Ruby: "Well... remember about swear jar?" I nod "Then don't worry, I didn't make it. I get the money from your wallet" I pinch the bridge of my nose

(Y/N): "Ruby..."

Ruby: "Before you say anything. It was from yours and Nora's bet. I win you that money so it's also mine"

(Y/N): "... Okay" I get my arms in the air "I won't argue with your logic, Petals. Thanks for the present. I will get my emblem on it when we get back"

Ruby: "Your emblem? Do you even have one?"

(Y/N): "Yhm, see" I get now my hood out of the way and show Ruby my skull emblem

Ruby: "A skull?" I nod "That's cool!"

(Y/N): "If you want, I can give you one skull later. In exchange for a rose"

Ruby: "Deal"

We continue to walk around until the moon starts rising. We decided it's time for dinner. Us two get to the higher level of the city to the restaurant I mentioned before. Waiter led us to our table. I tipped the man to get us a table on a balcony overlooking the entire Mistral, as it lit up in the night. Later the same waiter gave us our menus. As we search for our meals I keep an eye on Ruby. Eventually she notices it and peeks up from her menu

Ruby: "Um... Cookie? Is there something on my face?"

(Y/N): "No"

Ruby: "Well then, what are you looking at, mister?"

(Y/N): "The girl I fell in love with, and that's she is still with me" Ruby blushed slightly

Ruby: "What do you mean 'still'?"

(Y/N): "After all what happened so far everyone changed... Jaune is still hurt after Pyrrha. Ren lashing out at Grimm who destroyed his home and possibly killed his parents. Later you have Salem, Relics and I'm still not sure about Lionheart. But... you're still Ruby Rose. The same quirky girl who is nerding out over weapons and wields a scythe twice the size of her. The same girl which I fell in love the very second I saw her"

Ruby: "(Y-Y/N)..." her blush gets bigger

(Y/N): "The same girl... Who is the reason why I can't give up. Because she for sure won't give up either. Petals, I'm happy you decided to stay with me. I swear I won't ever make you regret choosing me"

Ruby: "(Y-Y/N)... I would never regret choosing you. You're my Cookie. I love you the most"

(Y/N): "And I love you the most too, my Rose" we lean towards each other and share a quick kiss. Then the waiter came back to take our orders

Waiter: "Can I take your order?"

(Y/N): "Yes. I will have a medium rare steak and a salad. And a Coke for the drink"

Waiter: "And what for your lovely companion?"

(Y/N): "Petals? Have you decided?"

Ruby: "Hmm. I will have a chicken salad, please. And a water"

Waiter: "Okay. I will be back with your order shortly"

We talked about usual stuff until the waiter came back with our orders. After eating and me leaving a generous tip we went on our way. Walking around the city of Mistral enlighten by moon and lanterns, chatting about things from Beacon, about what can happen in the future for us.

Ruby: "Hey, Cookie?"

(Y/N): "Hmm?" she get on her tiptoes and kissed my cheek

Ruby: "I had a good time today. I really enjoy our dates"

(Y/N): "Heh. My plan worked" Ruby gets confused

Ruby: "Plan, what plan..." she gasps "You let me hit you in order to go on this date?" I nod "I can't believe you!"

(Y/N): "Hey, a little confidence boost is always good. Besides I know you wanted to go on a date too. Last time we went out somewhere alone, was after my and Sam's match during Vytal Festival"

Ruby: "Speaking of Sam, do you believe Ozpin, that he is a Guardian like you?"

(Y/N): "Who knows. Maybe he is, maybe he is not. That reminds me. Oscar had a small crush on you" Ruby giggles

Ruby: "He is cute, but he is two years younger than me. And I think Alice have a crush on him"

(Y/N): "Little Wolfie? Yeah. She is thirteen, he is fourteen. I wonder how I am supposed to hook them up?"

Ruby: "You what?!"

(Y/N): "Alice asked me to help, so I'll try to"

Ruby: "And you didn't let me in?! Cookie, I'm hurt" she fake cries

(Y/N): "Stop the fake cries Petals. I swear, you get this from me"

Ruby: "Yeah. Hey. It's getting late. Let's head back. We can snuuuuggle!"

(Y/N): "Not like we don't do this every night. Okay" I noticed that rose medallion I gave her on our first anniversary " I see you still wear that pedant I gave you"

Ruby: "Yes. Why would I take it off? It was a present from you on our first anniversary"

(Y/N): "You see, not every piece of Pyrrha's armor went to Jaune's weapons. He gave me a piece of her headpiece saying 'Pyrrha was also your friend' and I decided to reuse it

Ruby: "So..."

(Y/N): "The very rose medallion you wear right now was a piece of Pyrrha's armor. I thought that you also want something to remember her by" Ruby get some tears in her eyes and then hugs me

Ruby: "(Y/N), thank you"

(Y/N): "Don't say anything Ruby. I know you miss her just as much as I do. Now, let's get back to the house and snuggle like you wanted, okay?" Ruby gets the tears away and we walk back

Ruby: "I love you so much (Y/N)"

(Y/N): "I love you too Ruby. No matter what happens I always will"

We made our way back to the house late in night, as we sneaked our way to our room to not wake up anyone. After changing into pajamas we lie down and hug ourselves to sleep
