There was something about Jake Stone that drew you to him. You had no idea on how it happened, but it did and your life changed for the better. You were lounging in the Annex one day when Jake ran up to you.

"What ya up to darlin'?" He asked.

"Nothing much. Just thinking Jake." You replied.

"About what?" You. Is what you wanted to say but would never confess to such thoughts.

"Just about the Library and everything in general."

"It's a lot to take in, but it's worth it."

"Yeah. I just wish that I could tell people how cool my job is and all the fun we have here." You said and saw Jake looking at you with a smile creeping up his face. You looked in to his eyes and were immediately drawn to them. There was something in them that you couldn't place. A large crash interrupted you as you jumped back, not realizing how close you had gotten, and looked at the perpetrators. Cassandra and Ezekiel. You glared at the two and so did Jake.

"You two would make a cute couple." Cassandra said.

"Just kiss here already Stone!" Ezekiel yelled as he ran off pulling Cass with him. The two of you stood in silence as the whole situation sunk in.

"Um I'm going to check the clippings book, see if anything's popped up." You said as you made your way to the book. You left a flustered Jake in the midst and he realized that he fell in love with you even more just then. The way your (e/c) orbs sparkled to the way you (h/l) (h/c) hair framed your face and lastly your personality. You were smart, determined, and courageous; Jake was mesmerized by your every move. He snapped out of his trance and made his way to the clippings book as well. You saw him approach the rest of the group as he finally caught up.

"Anything new?" Jake asked.

"Yeah," You replied. "But you're not going to like it Jake."

"What is it?"

"It's in your hometown. There's been reports of a warlock destroying the town." You said and Jake ran to the back door. "Wait up Jake!"

"I need to get there now!" Jake yelled.

"Stone, calm down. We need to know what the hell we're doing before we get there." Baird interjected.

"No we don't! Let's go!" Flynn said.

"Flynn Carson stop right there!" Baird yelled at Flynn.

"Oh someone's in trouble..." Cassandra said in the background.

"Jacob Stone that includes your ass too!" You yelled at him as he was almost to the back door.

"What's the plan." He grumbled. From there all of you had figured out, with the help of Jenkins, on how to take down the warlock. It was actually pretty simple in the end. All you had to do was lure him into an enchanted room, and Jenkins took care of the rest. Once that was taken care of, Jake ran off and you followed him. He went to the local bar and was greeted with a familiar, yet unfamiliar sight. The bar and people didn't change, he did and that's what scared him. He was greeted by old friends and was quickly answering questions and it seemed like he was having a good time. So you went to the bar and got a couple shots of tequila and then switched over to beer. You thought that you made progress with Jake today by helping him, but it only seemed as if you had pushed him away. Not that any of you did much in the first place. Jake got lost in the stories from his old drinking buddies as they began to question him.

"So find anyone at where ya work now?" One of his friends asked.

"No." Jake replied a little to quickly.

"So there is a girl! What's her name, and what's she like?"

"Her name is (Y/n) and she's one of the most wonderful people in the world. She's got (h/l) (h/c) hair, enchanting (e/c) eyes, and the biggest heart in the world." Jake fawned over you. You didn't hear it as you were out of ear shot and was more intrigued by your beer. Suddenly you felt a hand on your shoulder and turned around to see a very drunk man smiling at me.

"What's a pretty little lady like you doing all by herself?" The man asked.

"None of your business." You said and his hand went from your shoulder to your ass. Before you could say anything to him you heard someone yell from across the bar.

"Get your filthy hands off her now!" Jake nearly screamed.

"What was that?" The drunkard questioned as Jake's fist met his face. The two continued to fight until the police came in and arrested the two. You followed and bailed Jake out and brought him back to the library. Not a single word was said between the two of you since you were too pissed at him. It was nice that he did that, but you could've taken care of it yourself.

"(Y/n)-" Jake began to say when you pushed him though the nearest door, which so happened to be a broom closet.

"Now you listen to me Jacob Stone. That will be the last time that I will bail you out of jail for something as stupid as a bar fight! I could have dealt with the drunk myself if I needed to. I didn't need you to try and be Prince Charming!"

"He was assaulting you!"

"Who said it was assault? Who said that I didn't like getting attention from a man, especially one who actually showed interest in me?"

"I'm going to have to change that Darlin'" Jake nearly growled as his eyes turned black and he slammed his lips against yours passionately. Your hands instantly wrapped around his neck and tangled in his hair. While his went to your back and pulled you flush against him. The two of you separated for air and looked lovingly at each other.

"I love you Jake."

"Love ya too (Y/n)" He said as he kissed you once again, but this time gently and full of pure love.
