One day after a long day working as one of the new Avengers, Bucky Barnes returns home to his pregnant husband to see him crying while looking in the mirror. The sight breaks his heart. All of the love and compassion that he held for this man, to only see him crying like this. He thought the worse, thinking that he may have miscarried. Bucky has lost so much in his life that he wouldn't know what to do if he lost his unborn children.

"Jonathan, babe, what's wrong?" Bucky asked his husband.

"Hi Honey. I have a question for you. How can you love me when I'm so fat?" Jonathan choked out in between sobs.

"You're not fat, its only because of our eight children that your carrying. There's nothing wrong with them is there?" Bucky asked worriedly. Praying to god that nothing was wrong with the kids. As he walked up behind him and wrapped his arms around his swollen abdomen and was kissing the back of his neck. That always seemed to calm Jonathan down.

"Nothings wrong Hun. It's just I'm-" Bucky cut Jonathan off with a sweet and gentle kiss. The two men's mouths moulded together as if they were made for each other. They put all of the love and compassion in the world into the kiss. When they separated for air, their smiles were brighter than the sun. Bucky kissed away Jonathan's tears because now they were tears of joy. Jonathan was in his loving husband's arms, protected from the world around them. The world they would bring their sons and daughters into in two short months.
