Tokyo Ghetto

Naoto was driving on a Glasgow that he stole from the Britannians. He was shooting at the oncoming Britannains and used a slash harken on an oncoming VTOL. The VTOL crashed down landing. After that Naoto moved to another location so he can catch up with his teammates. Then he had to deal with more oncoming Knightmares. After that was dealt with, he entered a ruined building hopefully that no one would find him. 

Naoto: If I could use this tactic, my route would be much easier.

Naoto then found himself outside. It seems that this tactic works since he hasn't been attacked yet. He then found the rest of his resistance group calling out to him

Tamaki: NAOTO!

Naoto: Almost there

Spartan-100 or known as Ethan was riding his Oracle trying to do some early reconnaissance on Area 11. Especially in Tokyo Ghetto. If any Britannian discovered him, they would immediately put to death. Despite how extremely lethal Ethan is. 

Oracle: Ethan, there seems to be one Resistance fighter successfully regrouping to his comrades. You have done well to aid them

Ethan: Thank you Oracle, let just hope...........

As Naoto drives his Glasgow to his group, three Britannian Knightmares came in front of him. Causing Naoto to panic.

Naoto: GET OUT OF MY WAY!

Naoto began to shoot all a sudden out of nowhere they just suddenly got destroyed causing Naoto to be confused, but that didn't matter since he was home free, In a long distance, there was another Knightmare who was on Naoto's tail. He fired a rocket launcher. The Rocket fire launched into the building and causing Naoto to be stuck on the other side, not only that one landed onto his Knightmare damaging his Glasgow.

Ohgi: NO! NAOTO!

Oracle then drove into where Naoto's Knightmare. Ethan quickly got off his Guardian and then rushed over to the debris area where Naoto was hit. He was able to quickly removed most of the debris and punched out the cockpit area. He found Naoto lying unconscious with him internal bleeding.

Ethan: I need to take him into Grix. He will receive better treatment, but first, I must destroy the Knightmare so that the Britannains think he is dead.

Ethan then put him inside his Knightmare. He placed him on his second seat and closed the door. He then fired his Kinectic rifle at the debris causing it to explode. Knowing that he is thought to be dead.

Ohgi was kneeling down in sadness seeing his best friend is killed in action. Ohgi tears up as it flowed out of his face. 

Ohgi: Naoto!

All they can hear is the silence after that, assuming Naoto is dead, they all mourned. 

Ohgi: We might as well tell this to Kallen and Ms. Kozuki!

Kozuki Residence

Ohgi was at the front door as Ms. Kozuki answered the door.

Ms. Kozuki: Ohgi its wonderful to see you and where's Naoto?

Ohgi sighed 

Ohgi: Ms. Kozuki, get Kallen in here, I'm afraid we need to talk

As Kallen sat down next to her mother, Ohgi then began to explain what happened at the battle. THen he told him about the part where Naoto got crushed and died from Britannian forces.

Ohgi: I'm sorry......Naoto is dead. A Britannian Knightmare used a rocket launcher, and debris fell on him causing to explode.

Ms. Kozuki: no......my baby boy! no...NOOO!!

Ms. Kozuki began to break down into tears as she covered her tears. 

Kallen: NAOTO! Kallen screamed as she began to cry

Kallen and her mother comforted each other as they mourned thier lost son and brother.

Jefferson Hospital

Naoto was taken to a hospital where he was treated with his wounds. The surgeons were able to repair his organs and such, but it turns out he is under in a coma after that. The doctors went to Ethan as he waited

Ethan: So....how is it?

Doctor: He is fine, but he is in a coma. 

Ethan: Dammit!

Doctor: So we have suggestions to preserved him. We can either keep him here, or we can preserve him in a cryogenic pod. Which one do you want to choose?

Ethan: Well that is up to my General since he is running this situation. I'll give him a call

After calling the General, he then told the doctor is to preserve him in a cryogenic pod where he will be taken care of, and check on his vital status. 

Ethan: Sleep well Naoto. You don't need to worry anymore

Time skip

Planet Grix, Cryogenic Pod Building

Ethan was in a building along with other American doctors. The place he went into was a cryogenic facility. Some might contain dead bodies, and some are empty. One in particular read...."Kozuki".....

???: Lieutenant Ethan, he is ready to come out

Ethan: Very good

The body was released from the pod as it made a hissing sound. A young man who had red hair, fell off the pod as Ethan grabbed him from his front. The red hair man woke up from his sleep and said to him

Naoto: Huh.......where am I? am I in the ghettos?

Ethan: No, you were taken here to cryogenics center to keep your body perceived. You were in a coma for a year. It is now the year 2017 on Earth.

Naoto: Who are you?

Ethan: My name is Lieutenant Ethan of the UNSC military.......I'm glad to see you are alive and well.....Good Morning........Naoto!

Naoto: What.........where am I.....where is Kallen....where is my mother!

Doctor: You are in Washington City, Lieutenant Ethan found you when you were stuck in the debris back when you were fighting against the Britannians. He got you out of there and took you back to our planet. We will explain everything later, for now, the nurses will give you some food, hot beverages, and some clothes to wear at the moment. Lieutenant Ethan will tell you everything.

Naoto complied as he allowed the Nurses to escort him to a patient room. As he was given food, some clothes to wear, and a nice hot drink, Ethan entered the room sitting next to him.

Ethan: How you feel man?

Naoto: I'm good...so you're the one who saved me?

Ethan nodded

Naoto: I just want to say thank you for saving my hideout there.

Ethan: I'm just a soldier who is trying to save Japan from being under the oppression of Britannia, but you don't have to worry anymore, Japan is now an independent nation.

Naoto: What?!

Ethan turned on the television to show Naoto what he is talking about. It showed an American news lady speaking.

American Newslady: As you can see here, the people are celebrating in the streets of Tokyo after the independence from Britannia. 

As Naoto watched in silence, he was smiling as tears come out of his eyes. He was just relieved that Japan is finally free. Then he turned to Ethan and asked him.

Naoto: What about my mom and Kallen!

Ethan: Well your mom went through depression and went through the refrain drug

Naoto: Oh geez!

Ethan: Don't worry, she is fine now. She is back home, and Kallen is safe too. In fact, after you presumed death, she joined the resistance group.

Ethan then explained what happened after he thought to have died. He explained the Shinjuku Massacre, the Saitama Massacre, the death of Clovis, The Black Knights, Zero, also explained how the Revolutionary Frontier helped out Japan and the Black Knights thus getting independence from Britannia. Naoto was shocked and happy at the same time seeing that his people aided the Japanese. Not only that he also told them that there was a much bigger threat to humanity, he told them about the 30-year Human-Covenant war that was still an ongoing thing, and the UN is trying to help form the UFN trying to unite humanity in the case of Covenant surprise attack.

Naoto: Well today I found out aliens exist, and to discover they are a bunch of religious fanatics believing humans are evil and heretics!.....well.....when can I return back to Japan?

Ethan: Not for a little while. you must remain quarantine here until you are set to go back to Japan.

Naoto: Very well.....I shall be patient!

Ethan: Good man, you deserve some rest!

Naoto smiled and chuckled. Ethan then said his goodbyes and allows Naoto to be alone for a while he switches the channel to see what current events is going on Earth, Grix, and updates on the Human-Covenant war.
