Chapter 2: The Villain Vs. The Hero

WARNING:

In this chapter, the following is listed: Fight scenes and the mention of blood.

"There isn't an evil soul in your body, broccoli boy." I pulled him through the hallway, going to our lockers that were at the entrance of the school, "Besides, I don't think I can even get mad at you. You're too cute for that!"

"S-Shut up..." He mumbled, his face turning red.

"Never" We got to our lockers and started changing out our school shoes for our outdoor ones, "Now, before I go home, I'll help you find your notebook!" I looked over at Zuku, seeing his face twisted in sorrow as he stared at his locker.

I felt terrible for the guy after everything that he went through. Everyone knowing that he was quirkless must be hard on him. But, unfortunately, no one besides me even talks to him; instead, they bully him. It is sad to think that no one in this school gives a rat ass about the bullying situation.

I look up, seeing the two numbers on his head as they countdown. Maybe this is a sign that his dreams will come true. Finally getting the quirk he deserves and being able to be the number one hero.

Walking up to him, I wrap my arms around his waist. I want to be able to take this pain away from him. I want to be able to give him hope and the love he deserves. But, I guess only time will tell.

"Don't listen to him, Zuku..." I softly spoke, hoping that I didn't startle him, "He is just a jerk and blabs nonsense. What he said to you was not right; you don't deserve that- nobody does." His body shook against mine, making my heart break just a little.

"Do-" His voice cracked, "Do you think that I can become a hero?" For some reason, I knew that he was going to ask that. Then, turning him around, I could see his face. Tears spilled down his cheek, showing that he is at his breaking point.

"Izuku Midoriya," I whispered, grabbing onto his face with both my hands, "I know that you can become a hero. With or without a quirk, we may never know, but I do know that you got what it has to be one." Then, without any notice, he wrapped his arms around my waist and hugged me.

"Thank you..." He sobbed, nuzzling his head at the crook of my neck, "You are the first person to say that to me."

"I doubt it." I chuckled, hugging him tighter, "If you didn't know already, you are my number one hero in my book."

"That means a lot to me..." He lets go, fully standing up while tears are still falling down his face, "You are my number one hero too, (Y/N)."

"Again, I doubt that," I place my hands on his face again, wiping away the tears, "Now stop crying. You look cuter when you don't."

"Are you calling me ugly?" He laughs, pushing my hands off his face to now wipe his tears off.

"No," I turn around, walking a couple of steps before looking back at him, "You are just an ugly crier. That is different from what you stated."

"Hey!" He tried to keep his smile from showing, but it utterly failed.

"Anyways~" I cooed, "Let's go find your notebook. It's probably swimming with the fishes by now."

It didn't take long to find his notebook. All we had to do is to figure out which side of the building our classroom was at when Bakugo threw it out the window. We stopped right below the open window, looking around for the damaged notebook. But to our luck, it landed in a pool which it was chilling with coy fish. Or rather, three coy fish were trying to eat it.

"I guess you mean that my notebook was going to start being fish food."

"I didn't mean it like that!" I defended myself, puffing out my cheeks, "Well, it could be worse, but we shouldn't dwell on that."

"You're right." He stuck his hand into the pool of water, making the little fishes swim away before picking up the burnt, soggy notebook.

"Let me fix that for you." Zuku handed it to me, feeling the soggy papers plopping into my hand.

"Eww..." I scrunched up my nose, "Clockwork Enabled- Reverse" As the sheets began to form back into their original state, I felt my body weaken. It was like having my life energy getting sucked out of me. I waited a couple more seconds before disabling my quirk, seeing an almost new notebook.

"That's so cool!" Zuku yelped out, grabbing the notebook in my hand. He kept flipping through the pages, checking each one to make sure that my reverse was complete.

"Yeah, I guess it is." I mumbled, looking down at the ground, "That alone takes up most of my energy. It wasn't until recently that I figured out how to do that."

"It's still cool!" Putting his book bag onto the floor, Zuku quickly stuffed the notebook inside, "I wish that I had something useful like your quirk." Propping his book bag on his shoulder, I felt his gaze on me.

"It's not always rainbows and sunshine." Again, I felt my body become numb, but this time it felt like multiple knives stabbing into me, "There is a drawback to using this quirk." I cringed, feeling my body glitch out for a second. Finally, the sound of my bag dropping down onto the floor reached my ears.

It must not glitch with me, so I'm guessing this isn't the worst of it.

"I didn't know that your body can glitch out like that?" He hummed, "I thought it was only your hands and arms that can do that."

"No-" I glitched again, hearing my voice go robotic, "If I use my quirk too much, my whole entire body does this."

"Interesting..." I looked up, seeing his green eyes stare at me in amazement, "So that is one of your drawbacks?" I nodded before picking up my bookbag again, slinging it onto my shoulders.

"That's one of them, but it is the most common. I can control it, but the more I use my quirk, the harder it is." I smiled, grabbing Zuku's hand before leaving the school grounds, "I plan to use my glitch to my advantage. To summon it on command but means that I have to learn how to control it first. That means that I have to learn and teach my body not to glitch when it wants to."

"That's pretty smart!" He started swinging our hands back and forth between us, "Now that I think of it, I don't know much about your quirk."

"Time Manipulation," I state, shrugging. So we kept on walking down the street, but I let Zuku take the lead- since I didn't know where we were going.

"That makes sense..." He mumbled, putting his thinking cap on, "If you can reverse objects, doesn't that mean that you could go back in time?" I stopped, trying to think of where I have heard that before. I felt like I had seen it happen, but it wasn't in a movie or show.

"Honestly, I think that has happened before..." I mumbled, trying to think hard on when it did. I quickly put my hands on my head as my brain started pulsating at just the thought.

"(Y/N)?" He quickly went in front of me, his eyes trying to scan mine.

"Don't worry..." I state, gritting through my teeth, "It's just a massive headache."

"Come on," He wrapped his arms around my shoulder, guiding me in a particular direction, "There is a small tunnel over here. It should be dark enough so your headache won't bother you so much." I nodded as he led the way.

After what felt like an eternity, we finally made it to the so-called tunnel. It was an underpass of a bridge that cars traveled above. I sighed, feeling my headache go down just by a little bit.

"Here," I looked over at Zuku, who held out a bottle of pills and a bottle of Torrent soda that was half empty, "I drank this earlier, so I hope you don't mind that." Then, taking the pill bottle and the soda bottle, I took a closer look.

"Thank you for the headache medicine and the soda..." I mumbled before opening the bottle and placing three pills in my mouth.

"W-Wait," I twisted the soda cap and drank the rest of the liquid, "You're not supposed to take three..."

"Does it look like I care?" I sighed, giving the pill bottle back to Zuku, "My headache was going to cut my brain in two." Then, closing my eyes and rubbing my temples, I started to feel a little relieved as the pain slowly started to fade.

"Hey, don't-" He cut himself off before becoming a stuttering mess.

"What is it, Zuku?" I open my eyes, seeing that he wasn't looking at me, but behind me?

"A-A Vill-"

"Now, which one of you kids will make a perfect stencil for me to hide in?" A creepy voice echoed behind me, making my nerves shoot through the roof. Then, turning around carefully, I caught a glimpse of the villain.

From what it looked like, it had a makeshift gooey green body. It looked fluid enough to fit through any small hole. It is probably so it can easily take control of a host inside their body. It didn't take a genius to figure that one out due to his comment about us being a 'stencil for him to hide in.' Of course, one of the entrance places they would take would be the mouth- since it is the easiest place for him to enter through into our body.

The rest of their body flew out of the sewer cap, finally landing on the ground close to where I sat. Then, covering my mouth with my arm, I stood up as I slowly tried to back away. I heard Zuku stand up as well, trying to grab onto his open bookbag in the process.

"You are a smart girl, aren't you?" He chuckled, gliding closer towards us, "Already knowing about where I will be entering you from..."

"Maybe, but it is mostly because you stink of shit," I sneered, trying to think of a way to get out of this situation since my quirk won't be able to be in effect soon, "Also, that sounds way~ too perverted..."

"No matter, just don't struggle." He leaped, quickly gaining speed on us. My eyes widen, already knowing what was going to happen next.

"(Y/N)!" Before I could respond, I felt two hands shove me forcefully out of the way. Then, feeling my body jerk hard from the impact, I felt my body fly through the air. But that didn't last long as my body hit the ground, making me roll over a couple of times before stopping.

"Oh well, that isn't what I planned," the goo villain whined, "But that doesn't matter. At least, I caught one of the two brats." I felt my heart stop beating, realizing the meaning in his words.

"IZUKU!" I cried, trying to force myself off the ground, "Let go of him, you slimy bastard!" My body and brain ached, screaming at me to stay down.

Damn, I must have used up most of my energy today.

"C-Clockwork Enabled-" I stuttered, feeling more pain consume my body, "Fuck!" At this moment in time, it was hard for me to concentrate. I could feel my quirk flickering on and off, trying to battle if they should enable it or not.

I looked up, seeing a horrible sight that I never want to see again.

Zuku was struggling, trying to escape that horrid villain that wrapped around him. Tears ran down his cheeks as his hands tried to claw at the goo- the goo that was wrapped around his mouth and nose. That monster was suffocating him to fucking death.

As I shakily pushed myself off the ground, but now, all I could feel now was numbness. I started taking my step forward, my body glitching uncontrollably. It was like a light switch flipped off, not having any control over how my body was now reacting- on how my body was now feeling.

In the dark, I could see a faint hue of green that came from my direction. It twinkled with tiny cracks in the glow. I have never seen that happen before, but it just because I was pushing myself mentally at this point.

A metal plate hit the ceiling, stopping all of us in our tracks. I turned around, seeing a figure emerge itself from the sewer below- where the goo villain appeared from. My eyes widened, giving me a little bit of relief, knowing that I had some backup.

"Have no fear- you're safe," The figure's deep voice said, standing up straight- letting me see who the hero was, "Now that I am here!"

"All Might..." I whispered in disbelief. It is him- the number one hero.

There wasn't any room to talk before the goo villain attacked- goo shooting right by us. I let go of the hold of my glitch, feeling the goo fly right through me. This is my chance to save Zuku!

My feet took off, running towards the direction of the villain.

"Young lady! Get away!" All Might yelled. I turned my head towards the hero, making direct eye contact.

"I'll be fine!" Then, turning my head around, I finally had a clear view of the boy. My body kept glitching as the goo kept coming, so it was useless to attack.

When I got close enough, I jumped- reaching out to Zuku. I had to get this moment right, or I would go right past him. At the last second, I suppressed my glitch, grabbing onto his body before re-releasing it. Thus, allowing my glitch to pass through Zuku, making him glitch as well, as we phased through the villain.

"TEXAS MASH!" Twisting my body towards the ground, we both skidded out of the tunnel on the floor. With a gust of wind that came from the tunnel, it pushed our hair behind us. As we finally came to a stop, I groaned in pain. There was no doubt that my blazer was ripped, showing my white tank top underneath it.

"Clockwork Resume," I sucked in a breath, feeling a burning pain erupt from my back. However, I didn't feel as tired as I usually do- probably due to adrenaline. Rolling over, I placed Zuku onto his back on the ground. From the looks of it, he is still breathing. Double-checking, I felt his neck for a pulse as I leaned my cheek towards his mouth- eyes looking at his chest. Sure enough, he had a strong pulse, and his chest was rising up and down.

He passed out.

"That was pretty ballzy for a junior high student to do." I turn my head towards the voice, now knowing that it belonged to All Might. I shrugged before standing up, looking down at my friend.

"I-I had to save him," I clenched my fist together tightly before looking back at him, "I did what I thought was right. He has a life ahead of him. He has time while I do not." I walk past the hero to grab my stuff and Zuku's. I have no idea why I said that; I didn't talk to anyone about it until now.

How I didn't have that much time to live in the everyday reality- that I would die before anyone else in my life did.

"What do you mean-"

"Here," I cut him off, throwing the empty bottle that I finished earlier, "That should be enough room for the slimeball to fit in." Then, picking the rest of our stuff, I walked back to Zuku, the numbness now filling my body once again.

Plopping our stuff onto the ground, I went to look for that specific notebook of his.

"What's your name, young citizen?" I didn't reply until I finally pulled out the notebook.

"(Y/N) (L/N)" I flipped through the book before landing on a page where a sketch of his hero costume is. I pulled out a pen and offered both the notebook and the pen to him.

"And who is this young man?" He took the pen and notebook, raising his eyebrow.

"This here is Izuku Midoriya- he is my senior, but we are in the same grade." I patted his messy green hair, hoping that he will wake up soon, "That is his hero analysis journal. He would likely appreciate it if you would sign it for him. He is a big fan of yours." I smiled, thinking of the many times he would talk about the hero.

He turned over to the next page before scribbling down something.

"If you don't mind me asking," He cleared his voice, "What did you mean about you not having time?" He handed me back the notebook and pen, which I gladly accepted back.

"Well... My quirk is Time Manipulation." I started, looking down at the notebook, "I can see every living thing's time- either life or quirk span. But that is only the beginning of it."

I looked up at him, seeing that he was visually nervous, but I kept going.

"While everything stops ticking, my own does not. Meaning that the more I use my quirk, the less time I get when time continues."

"So, how old are you?"

"12 when time is going as normal, but I'm 14."

"I see," He crosses his arms across his chest, "So, you're older than what you are." I nodded.

"No one knows about that, and they wouldn't understand," I look up on top of his head, seeing three sets of numbers.

One was green, probably his life span.

The other was yellow- which shocked me, but I didn't show- was his quirk.

The last one was probably of how long his quirk lasted for in transformation - which showed red.

"However, I bet you out of all people would know that," I smirked, placing my palm to my cheek, "You only have 5 minutes left until you detransform." He admittedly sweatdropped, making me smile at my assumption.

"How did you-"

"I told you, did I?" I giggled, "I can see time itself in a person. You have three, to be exact."

"Don't tell anyone this, Young (L/N),"

I smiled before pretending to zip my lips shut and throwing away the key.

"I have no idea what you're talking about," I smirked, before looking at the green-haired boy, "We should wake him up now..."

"I got it" He leaned forward before aggressively tapping his face. I sweatdropped, thinking that isn't how you wake up a person.

His green eyes opened just a little bit before groaning.

"We thought we lost you there!" He smiled, keeping his hand out.

"AHHH!" Zuku yelled, trying to back away from him, but he ended up backing up into me. He wrapped his arms around my waist, still shocked at the moment. All Might blinked in confusion before standing up straight.

"Well, it looks like you're moving around all right. Sorry about that back there" His gaze shifted towards mine before going back to Zuku, "I didn't mean to get you guys caught up in my justice thing. Usually, I pay more attention to keeping bystanders safe, but it turns out this city's sewer system is pretty difficult to navigate."

Zuku shook against me as I tried not to laugh. I'm glad he is okay- though All Might could have done a better job waking him up.

"But, you were a big help!" All Might held out the bottle I gave him, showing the goo villain inside of it, "Thanks to you two, I captured him safely!"

Zuku let go of me quickly and glanced around everywhere, looking for something.

"Don't worry. I got it!" I handed the notebook out to him, the pages where All Might signed his name in front of him, "I got him to sign it when you passed out." I smiled, thanking the gods that he survived. Honestly, I wouldn't know what to do without him. Sure, I say the same thing about Amaya, but this is different. This is someone who I choose to be around, and I guess it's the same for him.

Zuku stood up before bowing up and down to All Might. It was a funny sight to see- him mumbling thank you's over and over again. He was getting to the point that I was scared that he would throw his back out. But, he's too young for that- must protect broccoli child!

"Woah, steady there, tiger!" I laughed, forcefully putting my hands on his shoulders as he tried to bow down again.

"Okay! I need to take this guy to the police so that they can take care of him. Stay out of trouble!" All Might patted his pants pocket where the soda bottle was kept. Not going to lie- it was somewhat scary that the villain's color-matched his jeans.

"No promises!" I yelled back, taking my hands off of Zuku before waving.

"See you around!"

"Wait, already?"

"Heroes are constantly fighting time as well as enemies." All Might looked in my direction as he said that. I looked up at his time again, now seeing that time is trickling down for him.

I signed, tapping my watch and putting up three fingers in the air. He nodded before turning around to stretch. To my guess, he is planning on jumping through the sky to get to the station quicker.

"Come on, Zuku. We should probably stand back." Taking a couple of steps back, I frowned.

Why isn't he standing back? Did he not hear me?

"Well then!" He states, just about to jump, "I'm taking off! I'm counting on your continuous support!" Before I knew it, All Might took off...

Along with Zuku.

"IZUKU!" I yelled, looking up into the sky, "Damn it! You're just as bad as that pomeranian guy!"

I swear the next time I see him, I'm going to punch him!

"What should I do now?" I sighed, unbuttoning my blazer, "I guess for starters I should check on it" Taking off my blazer, I turned it around- not liking what I saw.

There were patches of torn fabric in the area that I fell on.

"Amaya is going to kill me," I whined before tying up my blazer around my waist, "I might as well buy some eggs and more sowing string. I hope that I can patch this up~" Grabbing my phone, I went to go check where the closest shopping district was.

"Tatooin Shopping District, huh?" I frowned, knowing that it was quite a bit of way, but I think I need the exercise, "Well, I might as well train my quirk more since I still have some energy left."

After enabling my quirk, I picked up my book bag and began to run.

~*~ Time Skip 17:13 ~*~

"C-Clockwork Resume," I panted out, feeling my lungs aching for air, "Damn, I should start running more..." Looking around, the shopping district was as packed as ever- filled with people at every store opening.

After taking a quick hiatus, I decided to buy myself something to eat and drink before doing the rest of my shopping.

That wasn't until I heard explosions coming from the middle of the market.

"Another attack?" I questioned out loud, thinking that it had to be some luck to be in another one.

It didn't take long for the fire to spread across the district.

I ended up being pushed back behind the line with the rest of the civilians. It has been ten minutes, and all the heroes on the scene could only do so much. They were grabbing people out of the fire while others tried to contain it. This isn't good.

Sadly, I wasn't able to see what was happening since I was so short. I wanted to see the action, to see which villain it was this time.

I can rub this one in Zuku's face when I see him!

"Clockwork Enabled." I felt my body start to glitch as I activated my quirk again- because I have been pushing my limits. I walk through the crowd, hearing people whisper around to each other. Not that I paid any attention, I have some terrific fight that I want to see.

Getting up to the front, I took a look around my surroundings. In this view, I was able to see the destruction that it was causing. Buildings were ablaze, while some of the heroes did their best to contain the situation. But, I stopped- staring in disbelief at the villain that was attacking.

It was that same damn slimy ball from earlier.

I know that I didn't have enough energy to pause everything. Knowing that I did that earlier would make me pass out. That doesn't mean that I can't freeze someone.

Tightening my fists together, I forced myself to run in. I know it's illegal to use your quirk without a license, but if it meant that this would end quicker, I should do it. I was hoping that I was able to give them enough time to be able to get this bastard locked up.

"HEY, YOU KIDS! STOP!" Hearing that voice, the slime villain turned my way. His eyes widen, recognizing me from earlier.

"It's you!" He attacked, sending his slime towards me, "That little brat that took my last stencil!"

"You know it didn't work the last time, right!" I smirked, continuing to let my body glitch out, "SO WHY EVEN BOTHER?!" His attack phased right through me as I kept running. My eyes looked around, trying to find anything for me to use. However, my eyes landed on familiar red orbs- the ones that I would see every day at school.

"Stay back!" The villain yelled in desperation, "Or I'll snap his neck!" His red eyes widen, now struggling more than ever in fear.

"That won't happen!" I bent my knees and jumped as high as I could before shifting my body to roundhouse kick his eyes, "I'm not letting you take another one of my friends!"

"KACCHAN! (Y/N)!" My eyes widened, hearing Zuku's voice. I took a peek at him, seeing him starting to take his book bag out off his shoulder.

That's why that hero said kids instead of kid? It looks like Zuku had the same idea as me.

Changing my body position midair, I put my legs together to hit the spot somewhere where I can connect the closest to Bakugo without hurting him. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to dwell on the factor as I felt my body phase through the villain.

I reached out my hand, focusing on controlling my glitch in my arm, trying to feel something else. Then, as I thought my arm connected to something, I let go of my control- now focusing on transferring my glitch.

If I can do it for Zuku, I can do it with Bakugo too.

As I felt my feet touch the ground, I shifted my body with my back facing the floor. I opened my eyes, which I didn't know I closed, to see those red eyes staring at me in amazement. Unfortunately, it didn't last long as I felt my back hit the ground again as we skid across the land.

"DETROIT SMASH!" The winds picked up, more brutal than the last time it happened. Surprisingly, it slowed our speed, making both of us stop.

The winds died down before the sky started to darken. The clouds twirling in a circle before the rain poured down on us.

"He changed the weather," I breathe out, my body finally relaxing on the ground. Then, I felt a shift on top of me, making me release my hold on Bakugo before he prompted himself onto his hands.

"Hey, Katsu," I said, feeling that it was the right moment for me to use a nickname that I always wanted to use. But, it has been so long since I've used it. So, I would sometimes catch myself starting to say it.

"You okay?" I raised an eyebrow, wondering if it was the pomeranian I know.

"I should be asking you that." But, instead, I chuckled, "You were the one who was captured by that slime ball. Nice work; I knew you wouldn't back down without a fight." He pushed himself off of me, getting onto his feet. Then, having the same idea, I did too before Bakugo put his hand out for me to grab. I took it without thinking, and he pulled me up off the ground.

"Tsk, idiot! Why did you do that?!" Instead of answering him, I wrapped my arms around his waist and hugged him. Although a draft of coldness and numbness drown my body, I was happy that he was okay.

Before I could pull away, he wrapped me in a hug too.

"I didn't want to lose another person in my life," I finally answered, snuggling closer into his clothes, "Even if you're a pain in the ass, I still think you're important to me."

"Whatever," We let go of each other, sharing in each other's gazes before his eyes landed on his hand, "What the hell?! Your bleeding!"

"I am?" I asked, looking down at his hand. Sure enough, traces of red blood was smeared onto his hand.

"Idiot," He looked back up at me, "Turn around." Not wanting to argue with him, I turned around.

"Your entire back of your tank top is ripped. I guess it didn't do too much, so put on your blazer." I unwrapped my blazer from my waist before looking at it more. It seemed like it was in worse condition than when it was earlier.

"About that..." I mumbled, turning around to show him my blazer.

"What the hell did you do to it?!"

"I blame that slime monster." I scoff, turning my gaze away from him, "You aren't the only one that I saved from that monster, you know. Zuku pushed me out of the way before that bastard trapped me. Then, using the same move as I did with you, I got him out of his grip. Ended up landing on my back and ripped my blazer."

"So that is why you weren't wearing it?"

"Precisely," I looked back at Bakugo, "I came here to the shopping district to grab some eggs and some sowing string to piece it back together. But, unfortunately, it looks like that isn't happening."

"Ah, Young (L/N) and Young Bakugo!" We turn our heads over towards All Might, who was walking up to us, "You guys alright?"

"Just some scratches."

"Yeah, right! Your back is bleeding!"

"I'll be fine. A little pain-" I glitched, hearing my voice go robotic, "doesn't stop me."

"Come on, Glitchy." Bakugo grabbed my wrist, dragging me away, "Let's go get you patched up."

It is weird seeing this side of Bakugo, his caring attitude. I'm not going to point it out since it would probably lead to him getting defensive. But, it reminded me a little bit of when I first met him.

Even though he still had an image to keep up, he showed a little bit of his soft side. He was screaming at anyone who would try to pick on me, claiming that picking on younger kids was damn to hell.

It wasn't until I saw him bullying Zuku that things changed between us. He didn't like that I was protecting 'Deku'- Saying that anyone who is friends with him is also another 'useless extra.' The look on his face when I turned around and asked Zuku to be my friend was priceless.

Since then, he ignored me and pretended that he hated me. But I knew better than anyone. That wasn't the case. It was just his ego was too big for him to admit that even though I was Zuku's friend, that I wasn't useless. It was apparent how he acted towards me once in a while. For example, he would carelessly help me with a problem in math class but then call me an idiot for not knowing how to do it.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of my attitudes came from him. I know that my swearing started when I met him, so it would be expected for his hot-headedness to rub off as well.

"Hey, Katsu?"

"Yeah?"

"Are we still friends?" I questioned, "Even after everything we put each other through?" He stopped in his tracks, making me bump into his back.

"Are you still going to be friends with Deku?"

"Yes."

"Then no" He continued walking, gripping onto my wrist tighter.

"Come on~" I whined, "I know you guys don't get along, but I don't see the reason why that determines our friendship."

"You don't get it."

"I know I don't," I said, trying to walk a little bit faster since his pace quickened, "You know this Katsu- I know you do. If it would make you feel better, whenever we aren't around him, my attention will be fully on you."

"What about if he is there?"

"I'm not going to ignore you nor him- if that is what you are thinking. I'll try to balance it off. When you need me, just tell me. I'll come over to you to talk. If Zuku does, I'll go over to him for a bit."

"Fine."

"So, does this mean that we can get ice cream after this?" We stopped again, now by the group of EMTs who are checking up on victims.

"How in the hell did you get that conclusion?!" He barked.

"I just wanted to get some ice cream with one of my good friends- since you are determined to continue our relationship." He turned his head and scoffed at my comment, letting go of my wrist.

"Get yourself checked out."

"Then ice cream?"

"Tsk, whatever."

~*~

I hope you enjoyed the second chapter of this book. I couldn't help but publish this out earlier than planned because I am writing chapters like crazy.

At this moment, I have finished Chapter 5 and starting on Chapter 6 of this book. However, I am still planning on updating every week, so I'm just writing ahead when my schedule gets busy.

Each chapter that I am writing is 5,000 to 6,000 words, making each one at least 25 to 30 pages long. It is the first time in a book that I am writing this much, so let me know if there are any mistakes in any of the writing!

After chapter 10 is out, I will be publishing an outline of the chapters to know where the book takes place in each season and an episode of MHA/BMHA in the series. So it would be a separate chapter before the first chapter that I published last week.

Anyways, I hope you guys are having a good day, and remember...

KEEP READING AND STAY SAFE, YOU LOVELY READERS!

Word Count: 5,730
