Once we reached the the area Sundrop had pointed us towards we were surprised to not find a base but a group of dragons instead. At first we thought it was a scouting party seeing as they were all Skywings minus the fact that there was one Mudwing with them. We swerved to avoid them until my mother noticed that the Mudwing was part of the group that had invited my mother to join the Talons Of Peace. We landed cautiously eyeing the Skywings incase it was a trick.

They explained that they tended to stay in groups of dragons from there own tribes and in said tribes area so they didn't get caught and that the way things worked was like this, a group of dragons goes out and trys to recruit trustworthy dragons, than pointed them in the direction of Stonemover who would use an item he had created using his animus powers to see if they really were trustworthy, and if they were he would send them to Sundrop, Sundrop would than send a message using the animals to whatever group of dragons they had out in the mountains that day, then that group of dragons would go and get a dragon from the group that recruited the dragon so they could confirm that it was the same dragon, then they would send the animal back to Sundrop so Sundrop could send them to the location of the group of dragons, then lastly that group of dragons would take them to the one of the actual Talons Of Peace base. I was very excited.

I might get to meet the dragonets of destiny and mabye even convince the Talons of peace of what Moon said!

After a bit of debate they decided that they would go to one of two Talons Of Peace bases there was one near the coast of the Dimond Spray Delta and also one that on the map they showed us would be on the tip of the wing if the continent was a dragon in the end we decided to head for the one on the tip of the wing since even though they would have to pass through Skywing territory if they were seen they could just play it off as them bringing in an Icewing they had captured and that the hybrids with them were aloud to be alive because Queen Scarlett had thought they may be useful spys during the War Of The Sandwing Succession, since they could use them to spy on the Nightwings and the Icewings.

This was actually true in a way not with the Skywings but once the Nightwings had figured out my mother had their lost powers she held a position in war planning with them. The Nightwings may not be active allies of any of the three sisters, but they had their own plan for the war and that was to use it to get the Rainforest from the Rainwings, who were also mostly inactive in the war.

Most dragons thought of Rainwings as lazy and weak, since as far as anyone knew they had no natural weapons, No fire like the Nightwings, Skywings, Sandwings, or Mudwings, no Frost breath or serrated claws like the Icewings, no poisonous tail barb like the Sandwings, no underwear breathing and powerful tails like Seawings, nothing. Though me, mother, and father knew better as before I was hatched they lived in the Rainforest and knew many Rainwings and also knew about there weapons, the Rainwings could shoot a venom from there fangs that could burn any living thing, and they could also use there color changing scales to disguise themselves as other dragons as well as turn completely invisible.

Mother said that the Nightwings knew about the Rainwings venom, but knew very little about the most they've figured out is that, it dosen't work on anything thats not part of something living. Both me and Magma had agreed that them trying to steal the Rainforest from the Rainwings was stupid considering the Rainwings would more than likely be happy to share the Rainforest even mabye they would be willing to help the Nightwings build their own village so they wouldn't have to share one. Sadly no matter how much my mother tried to bring this up to the Nightwings they would insist it wasn't true and the Rainwings would not be willing to share because thats not how the dragon mind works.

Ha like they would know, me and mother are the ones who can see in those minds.

The Nightwings didn't actually know that I had their lost powers as well, there was another dragonet with them to they lived in the Rainforest their name was Moonwatcher. She was very shy but really nice and liked scrolls, something they had in common. We had met when I was scanning the Rainforest looking for a dragon named Jambou. I had caught on to Moons thoughts and realized she was listening too. Moon was surprised and a bit scared at first but eventually they got into a normal conversation talking about things they liked.

Once I brought up scrolls Moon latched onto the topic, saying because she lived in the Rainforest she never got to read much since even if she knew any Rainwings according to her mother there was barely any of them who could actually read. I eventually got Moon to agree and Moon helped guide me to the cave she lived in using her thoughts. Before leaving the cave I lived in with my mom and dad I left a note on a thin piece of tree bark we used as paper, telling them where I was going. The last thing I did before leaving was grab a gew scrolls I thought Moon might like asking her questions every once and awhile about topics she enjoyed.

After about an hour and a half of wandering the Rainforest, and explaining my surroundings to Moon I found the cave she was in.
"Hi! Are you Permafrost?" She squealed happily.
I smiled and said, "yep thats me bet you weren't expecting a Hybrid were you?"
She giggled than answered me saying, "No I wasn't but I don't mind I don't get to meet any dragons usually the only other dragon I know besides you is my mom." She had a curious look on her face than asked, "what are you a hybrid of I see the black, orange, red, yellow, white, and blue scales, and you have the really big wings that the Skywings have, and the spikes on your head and tail, plus the serrated claws that all belong to the Icewings. Oh! What abilities do you have? Do you have fire or Frost breath? O~! I have so many questions!"

"Three Moons slow down thats alot of questions." I said while giggling. Once I calmed down I answered her questions. "I'm an Icewing, Nightwing, Skywing hybrid my mothers name is Magma she is a Skywing, and Nightwing hybrid and my dad Frost is an Icewing, and to answer your other question I have both Frost breath and Fire."

Moon than spiraled into more questions about how my body worked like how I used Fire and Frost breath separately or if I could use them at the same time, and also how my body temperature worked since even if they weren't born in the cold climates the tribe usually lived in Icewings were naturally cold, whilst Nightwings had a normal body temperature, and even though they weren't naturally warm like Sandwings, the Skywings usually did have a bit of a higher body temperature than normal.

Normal dragons would probably find this many questions annoying but I actually enjoyed the constant stream of questions because like Moon I had rarely ever met other dragons. So I gladly answered her as much as I could. Eventually when our conversation came back to scrolls I took out the scrolls I had brought for Moon, which to my delight resulted in a happy squeal from the young dragonet. Me and Moon curled up next to eachother and for the next few hours I helped her get a bit better at reading.

Another few hours later a surprised looking female Nightwing came into the cave. I looked over at Moon and saw besides from a bit of nervous she didn't look scared. Because of that I assumed it was her mother and greeted her by saying, "Hi you must be Moons mom Secretkeeper I'm Permafrost I also have the Nightwings lost powers."
This reasonably surprised her the most.
"And how do I know your not lying to my face." Secretkeeper siad bluntly.
"Fair enough, Moon can confirm it for you though thats how I found her we talked through our thoughts." I answered Secretkeeper calmly.
At the confirmation that was Moon nodding her head to tell Secretkeeper I wasn't lying she seemed to relax. After that Secretkeeper agreed to let me train Moon and help her with her mind reading.
Right away I asked Moon, "how many full moons were you hatched under?"
This seemed to surprise Moon a bit but she answered two.
"Thought so, so you can see the future to right?" I asked.
Moon gasped and asked how I knew and I answered her simply with, "My mother was hatched under two full moons as well, I hatched on the most recent Brightest Night and my Powers are much stonger than my mothers."
Moon again gasped loudly and said, "You think thats why the tribe lost their powers because they moved to the volcano where the moons light couldn't reach!"
She cut me off again before I could answer her as she said something I couldn't believe.
"Do you think your the lost Skywing of the prophecy? I heard the egg got smashed the Queen wouldn't stop talking about it for at least 2 years thats how she convinced most Skywings that the prophecy was fake. But if your right here even if your a hybrid you have Skywing blood in you! And you were born on the brightest night!"
