Did she just call me a nympho?

I have to keep talking to her. "Can you please stop trying to run away from me?" I begged speaking louder as I speed walked after her outside in the streets. I ungracefully slipped on the damp stone steps, thankfully she didn't see.

She continued to speed walk away from me but I'm not having her leave just like that. Not when there's so much she and her fiends are hiding. Not when miss brown eyes is suddenly interesting. We were meant to talk otherwise we wouldn't have met before in the 'underworld'. "What do you even want from me? What do any of you wolves want from me?" She snapped back at me over her shoulder and I found it utterly amusing. Her trying to be fierce is the same as a little kitten.

Incredibly adorable.

"Luna." I called humorously.

She found it mocking. "Stop calling me that." She sighed exasperated.

"It's your name is it not?" I asked not understanding yet still beaming.

"Yes but it scares me that you know it and we haven't been properly introduced." Posh little wench. "Plus you say my name in a tone as if you are talking to a child." I smiled knowing I tend to do that a lot and it frustrates Charles too.

Tis the inner dominant wolf it can't be helped. "I'm not meaning to." I whispered. She sped up past the houses now remaining silent as she's trying to infuriate me by ignoring me. What she doesn't realise is I could follow her all night if I really wanted to. I have nothing better to do. The stars are out, the streets are empty, if I wanted to throw her over my shoulder, bring her home and put a leash on her I would. I'd imagined she'd be very feisty and attack me or chew off the leash then strangle me with it. It would be incredibly provocative. I like wild girls. "Luna I realise I should have at least introduced myself before throwing out words like that."

"Yes I don't like being insulted by strangers." She analysed the two storey houses probably hoping someone will be up to call a guard on me. A witness to our banter and chase. There are none she only has the handsome Sam Nightly.

I chuckled but she didn't hear me. "We have met before." She kept walking. Fine then. "You never gave me the chance. You saw me and immediately you jumped away in terror and so I acted upon..." My sentence trailed off when she started running around the corner of the street. A warmth spread from my chest, it's excitement that's building up. She really thinks she can outrun me? Outrun a werewolf?

"Alright little moon." I kinked my neck to the left and licked my lips anxious to begin the hunt. I know from last time she is very fast so this chase is worth while and no aroma less women to spoil it. "Let's see what you've got." I ran to the street she disappeared in and followed her sweet scent of honey mixed with lavender. I wanted to get a birds eye view so she wouldn't sense me coming so I climbed the wall of the house nearest to me and from the top window where little children inside slept away and I leaped up grabbing a hold onto the roof tiling then effortlessly pulled myself up.

Okay fine I'll admit there was a little difficulty since the silver is still burning my insides.

Not caring about disturbing the sleeping humans in their homes I jumped from one roof to another until I spotted her beneath me.

She is very fast I'll admit although she could never beat me. The way she moves, leaps over obstacles and slides under carts without struggle is unreal. Like some fantasy heroine or a woman with superhuman qualities.

She's not a human at all.

My brother must know that, he must be able to see it that's why he's taken an interest. She suddenly changed direction surprising me and ran far away across an empty square, her sharp footsteps pounding on the stone to get to the houses on the opposite street and she disappeared in the darkness of another street. I leaped off the roof hands first and had to roll and tumble a bit before I stood up again and jumped from one wall to the next until I reached the top of another building and kept my eyes peeled like a hawk.

The streets became narrow and buildings were so closely built I could almost feel claustrophobic.

I heard light panting and a rapid heart beating from all the adrenaline and I knew she was just beneath my feet. Glancing down I can see she's not wearing the hat anymore to hide herself and she is shaking her hair out.

I quietly climbed on to the wooden shop sign attached from the building right by the door then I swung upside down on the sign immediately meeting her flushed face. She jumped back which caused me to grin in satisfaction and my grin broadened when she narrowed her eyes on me as if she wanted to kill me. There's something about frustrating this girl that I don't know it's just... Enticing.

"Are you going to kill me?" She asked bewildered. I would never do that to anybody who didn't deserve it. The idea just isn't appealing.

"You're too pretty to die so soon." She tilted her head to the side with a perplexed glare.

"Your flirting is just as bad as his." She commented. My smug expression fell but she didn't see because she bent over leaning her hands on her knees panting wildly. Why she mention him when we were just having so much fun?

"I am nothing like him." I declared ferociously.

"Perhaps not completely but what do I know?" She asked darkly. She's glaring at her feet avoiding my glare. Look at me street runner.

"He's a monster, I am just a humble wolf."

"He says after chasing her for miles." She mocked in a hushed tone. Then she gazed back up at me whatever kindness she has is kept hidden behind a menacing teasing expression. "Who are you?"

"Sam." I left it at that hoping that this will get her to calm down and trust me a little more. This is very hard considering that people do not really greet each other with first names but I feel that we've gone too far to bother with formalities. I already know the feel of her waist and her first name.

She pushed. "Samson? Samuel?" Samson. She noticed my irritated glare and pestered me further with ridiculous made up names Samil, Samar and Sammywammy.

"Does it matter?" I growled.

"No but I feel the need to pester you."

"If you get me mad you'll be running again."

"I see now you're not to going to hurt me." She replied then she smiled making something warm spread from my chest once more. Good she finally trusts me. "Does it not hurt having all the blood rush down into your head?"

"Now that you mention it." I flipped off avoiding kicking her and landed with my back facing her. "It does hurt a little." I stared at her over my shoulder. She did not runaway. Thank you.

"Hm." She sighed pulling her cloak tighter around her body. Her cloak smells of another man which made me frown. It should not bother me yet I can't help but be disturbed. She suddenly began to speak again and I turned around to fully face her. "So you don't want to kill me you just want to know why he hasn't killed me." Of course I don't want to kill her. I'm used to everyone thinking that but the words coming from her mouth angers me. It's not her I'm mad at, it's myself for being such a fool and him. He angers me the most. The anger floated away when I noticed a faded mark right beneath her bottom lip, a birthmark or a faded tiny scar. I thought about touching it... With my mouth. Focus. "I'm sorry to tell you that I have absolutely no idea and I would like to know myself." She stepped around me and started walking away from me.

"You won't befriend a man but you'll befriend a wolf." I called out to her.

"If I didn't befriend him I never would have seen the next sunlight." She sadly said but then she smiled at me over her shoulder. "Besides I don't trust pretty faces they've proven to be more deceitful." She placed her top hat back onto her head then faced away from again. I leaped onto the balcony she's walking beneath and climbed down the other side to knock into her.

Electricity sparked between our bodies. I stiffened. She did nothing. Not even blink. She did not feel it?

"Are you flirting Luna?" I smirked. Noticing by how she's straining to hide her smile that she in fact did notice it.

That little spark.

"Just admitting fact." She shrugged gazing away from my face. She started biting her bottom lip and I'm starting to understand why he let her live. Why even the foul beast couldn't harm such a tender little thing. Even he must have a weakness for a face like this. "Anything else you need to know?"

I sighed and gazed at the empty square with a carriage and shops filled with overpriced goods. "A girl should not be out on her own." I spared her a sideways glance.

"That's why I'm dressed as a man." She said in a 'obviously' tone making me laugh.

I stepped forward then towering over with my height. She's not that much smaller. I almost knocked my nose into hers. "Let me walk you home."

She glared suspiciously. "Do I look as dimwitted as Red Riding Hood?"

Red Riding Hood? I shivered at the thought of her, all bad memories floated back.

I remember my first meeting with Red Riding Hood. Her name was Elena then... I should probably stop chasing after girls I meet in the woods, they're bloody psycho. How do I know Luna isn't as crazy as that mental case with a mean wicked grandmother.

"Why you don't trust me?"

"Your friend-" She paused noticing my glare at choice of words but she continued on. "Explained the real story about how she was rejected by a werewolf and so she went..." She whistled spinning her finger next to her head to make the cuckoo sign.

"So why don't you trust me?"

She remarked back sarcastically. "I don't know maybe because it's late, we're alone, you've insulted me, threatened me and I'm defenceless while you as a werewolf don't even need a weapon to rip out my insides. You know that thought in the back of my mind and this whatever we're doing right now..." She pointed between us while I stared at her about to crack again. "Would set any girl off."

"You think I'll hurt you."

She stayed silent thinking about it. I panicked a little before she whispered assured. "No."

I didn't dare make one movement as he stared intensely at me.

It's not fear making me freeze it's just curiosity.

Alright maybe I'm a little scared.

"No I don't think you'll hurt me. I think you're just full of it." His mouth perked up into a smile but then his head snapped to the right looking out onto the misty street.

As he must have, I sensed someone else's presence that made me tense.

"Who is it?" I asked him.

"You heard it to?"

"No, I can feel someone near." I narrowed my eyes trying to grasp onto a figure in the darkness but there are nothing but shadows. In this wider section of the town.

'He won't be trouble if you follow me.' He said in my mind rather than out loud.

The voice in my head when I went out with the girls. That why he sounds so bloody familiar! "Were you the man chasing us that night?" I questioned shockingly and he suddenly bundled me up in his arms.

He's going to kill me now? I couldn't help think unbelievably but then he threw us both to the ground with his body lying over mine I feared that he might just do worse. It wasn't until I heard the gunshots that I realised he's not trying to harass me.

"What the f-" I couldn't finish as Sam's golden eyes stared down at me surprised. "Oh come on women curse to! Now get off me."

"I don't know if it's safe to stand." He whispered looking through underneath the carriage we're hiding behind.

"You're a werewolf can't you just change and scare them off? Actually no no I see the flaw in that never mind." Last thing we need is the whole town waking up in fear and terror and to see that stupid priest again. Who even are these men shooting at us?

I flipped us over so I sat on top of him trapping his waist with my legs and looked around for some escape or weapon.

"Come on out Michael!" A man's voice shouted. My heart began to hurt in my chest at the sound of his name.

I lowered my head on Sam's chest to see boots walking out from the shadows. How do they know Michael? And what is that rapid drumming? Who is playing music at this time of night.

Oh it's Sam's heart.

"Who's Michael?" Sam questioned.

"You good for nothing thief! We're coming for you!"

Thief!?

How dare they call my brother a thief!?

"It's impossible he couldn't be Michael, Michael is dead." I crawled off Sam and slowly and quietly opening the carriage door to crawl inside. I gestured for Sam to follow me inside and we kept our heads low watching as the men hidden beneath scarves, cloaks and hats you would picture Van Helsing wearing walked around the carriage.

Somehow Sam and I had ended up squashed up together on the floor our faces much too close for comfort but I didn't dare move until I heard the men shout and run off in some random direction.

I reached out for the handle on the door but he gripped my wrist and tugged it away making my head snap up at his.

"How can you hear me?" He questioned.

"Uh I have ears- Okay you caught me I hear through my nostrils these ears aren't real." I sighed sardonically. What kind of silly question is that?

"Funny." He replied unamused. "But I meant through the mind."

"Oh," of course, right. Do I feel stupid? Yes. "You sound loud and clear to me I-I don't know how." In fact I recall Alpha's mouth never moving either. How did I hear him? Was it really through thoughts? I know I was communicating verbally but he used his mind.

"You don't know much do you?" He whispered under his breath.

"You're a bit of an ass aren't you?" I answered opening the door.

"Don't you walk away from me."

As soon as I stepped out havoc broke loose.

"There he is!"

"It can't be!"

I glared at Sam while he was still inside the carriage. "Alright I won't walk."

I turned and ran.

"Get him!"

Next update is next Sunday. If I fail to comply you can send the wolves after me.
