drew watched daisy walk up her driveway and raised an eyebrow at her. daisy wore runners shorts and a clayton prep trident's jersey, her hair tied up in a loose ponytail. Drew ran his hand over his shirt and pushed off his brother's car.

"if you weren't home why did you invite me over?" he asked confused.

she wiped her forehead with the back of her hand and sighed "sorry, practice ran late. i wasn't even supposed to go which why i invited you but then my coach and our captain, blaine, called and said the team was having an emergency practice. so then i had to go even though i wanted to stay here and wait for you." daisy motioned for drew to follow her and he did.

"you play volleyball?" drew asked as he watched daisy unlock her door. daisy nodded throwing open her door.

"i'm co-captain." she said simply. drew looked impressed and she shrugged blushing lightly. they walked in silence as daisy led him through her house, trying to hold in all her nerves for what was about to happen.

"you go to clayton prep?" drew asked, breaking the silence. he leaned against her doorway trying to seem casual as daisy dropped her bag down.

"yeah." daisy informed him "so now the reason i made you come over..." daisy looked over at drew. drew looked back at her. he waited for her to continue trying to seem impassive.

"i asked you to come over to tell you i missed you." daisy said a dark flush covering her cheeks. "i missed your voice, i missed talking to you no matter how short the conversation, i missed your laugh, i missed how flustered you'd get. i missed everything about you. and i'm so sorry i ignored you."

"why were you ignoring me? i spent a week trying to get you to answer my texts or calls."

"i was scared." daisy said shyly.

"of what?" drew asked incredulously "tell me what the amazingly confident daisy could be afraid of."

"you." daisy whispered

"i'm sorry what?" drew said sitting next to her

"you heard me."

"no i didn't you were fucking whispering."

"i said you douchebag."

"me? you were scared of me?"

"yeah you and all the things you made my black hole of a heart feel. i mean after the kiss you invaded my mind. all our conversations, every fact i knew about you, every time you'd said something sweet to me and it was so fucking scary. do you understand that?"

drew blushed lightly but scowled "you could've just said that and i would have given you space!"

"oh."

"yeah." drew retorted poking her nose. "you should have just talked to me. I'll always listen to you."

"really?"

"well duh. i like you, hon'."

daisy leaned in and smirked lightly "i like you too babe."

"we should go out sometime." drew said pulling daisy into his lap and looking up at her. she was sassy, mean, and super sweaty (well right now), but he didn't want her any other way.

"yeah we fucking should." daisy retorted wrapping her arms around his neck. she was cherished his sheepish personality, his attempts at sarcasm, and loving nature.

this time drew didn't hesitate. he leaned down and captured her lips with his a large smile on his face.

So this the end. After this there will be one more chapter which will be an epilogue.
