Author's Note: This is my second hated season behind rebooted. It's poorly written, brings the Nya drama back and the characters do stupid things for the sake of the plot! So infuriating. 

(Third Person P.O.V)

(Y/N) and Echo were sitting off to the side as the Walkers all discussed amongst themselves.

"Will they be ok?" Echo questioned (Y/N). "Echo... You have more of an idea of what going on that I do." (Y/N) stated patting Echo on the head the copper Nindroid smiled.

"But, I should probably go check this place out. To uh... To see who my birth dad was." Jay laughed trying to make sense of what was going on around him right now.

"Oh, of course, Jay. But, maybe you should change your clothes before you go." Edna pointed to Jay disguise. "Oh, yeah, that, haha." Jay laughed again.

"So ah while we're on the subject of awkward conversations, Why is (Y/N) here?" Jay asked his parents, nodding his head slightly in (Y/N) and Echo's direction.

"Poor thing had a chunk of Vengestone embedded in her left hand." Edna explained.

"Vengestone? How did that happen?" Jay shouted out, it was too much of a coincidence for Jay, given Cole's wish about Vengestone.

"Her Vengestone sword suddenly exploded and a shard impaled her." Echo called out answering Jay's question. (Y/N) quickly shushed Echo.

"(Y/N), I'm so sorry, that was all Cole's fault are you ok?" Jay asked panicking slightly.

"She was babbling incoherently and out of it for six hours." Edna told him before (Y/N) could stop her.

"Wait... What do you mean it was Cole's fault?" (Y/N) questioned the Ninja of Lightning.

Jay informed her of Nadakhan, his framing the Ninja's and his twisted wishes.

"Djinn, you say?" (Y/N) questioned reaching into her satchel for her trusty book.

(Y/N) flipped through her book till she found the page she was looking for. "This what you saw?" (Y/N) questioned hold out the page for Jay to see.

Sure enough there on the page was a doodle of a Djinn. "Yeah, that looks like the guy." Jay confirmed with a nod and (Y/N) read from her book.

"Djinn are beings able to grant three wishes per person: The only things a Djinn cannot grant are causing others to fall in love, cause a person to die, create more wishes for a person, nor use a wish for themselves." (Y/N) read out loud for Jay.

"Despite this, a Djinn and the wisher can use loopholes and wordplay to get around some of these rules through indirect actions. However, this seems exclusive to only more higher-willed Djinn, as Djinn will often grant a wish automatically without their own consent and are required to do so upon hearing one."

"Djinn are near-ethereal beings capable of flight and levitation, not unlike the inhabitants of their sister realm, Cursed Realm constantly switching between physical and ghostly states of being."

(Y/N) and Jay both flinched at the mention of the Cursed Realm.

"Djinn have the ability to move at incredibly fast speeds and teleport, making it nearly impossible to land a hit on one without blind luck. They are able to shape-shift to a minor extent and even duplicate the abilities of those they impersonate." (Y/N) continued to read out loud for Jay.

"So that how he framed us!" Jay shouted and (Y/N) gave him a filthy look for interrupting her. "Sorry." Jay apologised and (Y/N) continued.

"Additionally, Djinn seem to be relatively immune to most poisons, as a Djinn is able to survive against the venom of a Tiger Widow, which would normally kill a human with a single drop, and they are only exhausted by it." (Y/N) looked to Jay.

"Is the Djinn a King or Queen?" (Y/N) questioned. "He's a boy." Jay answered. "Is that bad?"

"Djinn are only capable of granting wishes for themselves if they are from the Royal line but only after they marry on Djinn land and become a Djinn King or Queen." (Y/N) proceded to explain to Jay.

"When the royal line gains the ability to grant infinite wishes for themselves upon marrying. The Royal Djinn's wishes will then manifest themselves in the form of blue energy that is thrown at the intended target, depending on the manner and circumstance of the wish." (Y/N) finished and closed her book.

"Wow, we could have used that information from the start." Jay chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. "C-could that information come with me?"

(Y/N) just gave him a cold blank stare as she said. "You're not taking my book."

"Um, (Y/N) dear I think Jay is trying to ask for your help." Ed explained to her. "No." (Y/N) said firmly.

Jay's face fell, Ed puts a comforting hand on Jay's shoulder. "Um, (Y/N) could you do it as a favour for me?" Edna asked and gave her the sweetest smile she could give her.

Echo chimed in and said. "I'm programmed to help those in need."

"Fine... But I'm only helping out because Echo and Edna asked." (Y/N) grumbled in defeat.

After a quick change into his casual clothes, Jay summoned his dragon, Echo and (Y/N) joined him and flew off to the place listed on the note.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Jay?... Jay where are you?" Nya hissed under her breath as she searched for the missing Elemental Master of Lightning.

When the wind suddenly changed direction and a piece of paper smacked Nya in the face.

"What in Ninjago?" Nya spat ripping it off her face. Nya was about to shear the offending item to shreds when a simple word on the paper caught her eye.

"Jay?" Nya said and read the letter."I'm sorry to inform you, but your father has passed away." Nya read out load in horror her voice slightly shaky. "You have inherited his estate and lots and lots of money..." Her breaths shortened as she started thinking about what she'd done.

Nya was interrupted by a poof of smoke behind her. "Are you ready for your second wish?" Nadakhan asked with a sly smile.

Nya quickly turned around and started demanding."What did you do? Did you change the past?"

"Oh, I wish." Nadakhan replied. "I simply revealed the truth about his life that others were previously unaware about."

"Then I don't want to make another wish." Nya said with a pout. "Oh, everyone wants a second wish." Nadakhan insisted. "No." Nya declared turning away from the Djinn.

"Don't resist the urge. What do you want? More power? More prestige? More money?" Nadakhan insisted again.

"No! Leave me alone I'm going to go find Jay!" Nya hissed at the Djinn before storming off.

Nadakhan frowned. "Well, I'll just visit this Jay myself." Nadakhan said and disappeared as quickly as he arrived.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Jay, Echo and (Y/N) arrived at a large house at the top of a hill near the outskirts of New Ninjago City. (Y/N) stared out a New Ninjago City.

"I've never liked the tall buildings of that place." (Y/N) grumbled then turned her attention to the large house was closed off by a large fancy fence with a large lock.

"Woah, is this where my birth father lived?" Jay asked as he put the key in the fence, opening it up and walked on the path up to the house. Echo and (Y/N) followed behind him.

Jay opened the doors and saw that the whole house was decorated with expensive items, with blue as the common colour theme throughout the house.

Jay and Echo stared at everything in amazement and walked in to explore (Y/N) just following behind them in indifference.

Jay walked into another room, there was a giant statue of Jay's idol, Fritz Donnegan, along with a painting of him against the wall.

Jay suddenly realised where he was it was the place from his vision in the Crystal Maze.

"This was the massive house filled with Fritz Donnegan memorabilia he and (Y/N) were standing in." Jay let out a happy surprised sound. (Y/N) raised an eyebrow at Jay's sudden happiness.

Suddenly the statue uttered the phrase. "Fear isn't a word where I come from!"

"Would you look at that, my birth father was a fan of Fritz Donnegan too!" Jay chuckled covering for his outburst in front of (Y/N).

(Y/N) seemed to believe this and Echo walked into the room to see what Jay was so excited about.

Echo walked over to shelf holding multiple trophies, the metal seemed to be calming to the copper Nindroid.

"Wow, he had so many trophies." Jay gasped in wonder as Echo started touching the trophy at the end and moved it forwards slightly, causing a painting to move to reveal a hidden room behind it.

"You're amazing at finding hidden passages, Echo." (Y/N) commented and Echo just beamed from the compliment.

Jay walked into the room followed by Echo and (Y/N) to discover it was filled with different costumes and a vanity that had many photos of Fritz Donnegan taped onto it.

"My father wasn't just a fan of Fritz Donnegan." Jay realized with a loud gasp. "He WAS Fritz Donnegan!" Echo looked to (Y/N) who shrugged, she had no information to give him.

Jay continued looking through the room. There was a poster of his birth father's next to the vanity, and in the back of the room was an area with one of Jay's old gi's along with photos of him.

"Huh, so he kept track of my adventures." Jay commented rubbing the back of his neck.

(Y/N) noticed that if any of the other Ninja's were in the pictures with Jay they were covered up, with another image of Jay.

Jay's attention was turned to a book that was sitting next to a ray gun. "Cliff Gordon's Handbook to Wooing Women?" Jay read as he opened up the book to the first chapter and began to read.

"Women love mystery. When talking to them, less is more." (Y/N) rolled her eyes, but her stomach growled loud enough for Echo and Jay to hear.

"You did not eat today." Echo pointed out to (Y/N). "Inconsequential, I have gone longer without meals under graver circumstances, this will not inhibit my battle prowess." (Y/N) answered confidently.

Jay looked up from the book he was reading with a grim look on his face. "Hey Echo why don't you and (Y/N) check out the kitchen and see if there's anything to eat, I didn't get to eat anything today either." Echo nodded and lead (Y/N) away and Jay went back to reading.

Jay was interrupted by a poof of smoke behind him. Panicked Jay quickly grabbed the ray gun that was next to the book, turned around quickly, aiming it at Nadakhan and pulling the trigger.

However, it was only a prop gun and only shot out a BANG flag. "Adorable." Nadakhan commented with a chuckle.

Nadakhan noticed something that was laying on the floor, that had fallen out of Jay's pocket.

Jay followed Nadakhan's line of sight and spots what Nadakhan was looking at. Jay immediately dived for the photo in question to prevent Nadakhan from claiming it.

Nadakhan watched Jay's response in fascination. Jay picked up the photo of (Y/N) with a deep red blush on his face in embasement very thankful that (Y/N) was not present to see this.

"A lost love?" The Djinn asked spying the picture of a girl. "Something like that." Jay admitted still flushed in embarrassment.

Jay looked at the picture of (Y/N) with a bitter sigh. Jay was trying to hold it in but he couldn't help but be bitter at Nya for what she had done.

"It's all her fault." Jay grumbled under his breath but unfortunately, Nadakhan had heard that.

"The girl in the photo?" Nadakhan questioned and Jay frowned at snapped at Nadakhan before he could stop himself. "No, it was all Nya's fault! (Y/N) didn't do anything wrong."

 Nadakhan smirked a little before asking. "Nya? (Y/N)?" Jay let out a frustrated sigh he may as well come clean he'd already said too much.

"Nya was my girlfriend, but she cheated on me with my best friend." Jay said bitterly and Nadakhan frowned at the mention of Nya being Jay's former suitress.

"Nya all so likes to play games, when that backfired on her and neither of us wanted her, she went after the (Y/N) the one that stood by my side and helped me through Nya's betrayal."

Nadakhan unclenched his fists revealed that Jay and this other suiter wanted nothing to do with Nya.

"Well, I can help you with that after all. Everyone wants a wish." Nadakhan insisted. "No." Jay declared turning his back to the Djinn.

 "Don't resist the urge. What do you want? A working ray gun, perhaps? or A second chance to put things right?" Nadakhan whispered into Jay's ear.

"No! I don't want anything, just leave me alone." Jay declared before Nadakhan poofed away once more.

Jay gave a sigh of relief before running out of the hidden room, moving the painting back before he turned around to face (Y/N) and Echo with a tray of sandwiches.

"Ah-oh. Hey, guys." Jay greeted in a panicked state still shaken by Nadakhan's arrival.

"Something is meddling with things it shouldn't, things are unbalanced and must be corrected." (Y/N) said plainly and Echo presented Jay with a sandwich.

"After you left, Nadakhan showed up." Jay explained. "He tried to tempt me into making a wish but don't worry I resisted the urge and he left." Jay reassured them.

"Good job, Jay." (Y/N) begrudgingly applauded the Ninja of Lightning."Uhh... Thank you?" Jay started thinking of a response.

"Come on, it's late the team is regrouping and need to know what went down." Jay prompted and (Y/N) rolled her eyes.

Jay looked around his new hideout and all the things in the room. "If Nya can have a secret hideout, why can't I?" That thought repeated itself in his head. He then gave off a smug face.

"Hey, um... Can this place will be our secret." Jay asked the pair who both agreed."Sure. I'll keep your secret." (Y/N) said and started walking to the door.

Jay stopped and looked at the statue of his dad. "Thanks, dad, I owe you one." Jay whispered as he left the house.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Clancee tries to get the ship unstuck. Monkey Wretch screeches at him.

"I ain't trying to do your job. Uh, just trying to help." Clancee says back and Monkey Wretch throws something brown at him.

"Ooh! This better be mud." Clancee yells at Monkey Wretch. "So did you snare a Ninja?" Flintlocke questioned.

"Unfortunately, it didn't go as planned. If I can speak freely, you ain't getting them alone because they ain't got nothing to do but look out for each other." Nadakhan grumbled.

"Put us to work then, Captain. When they're busy looking out for their own tails, they're all yours for the taking." Flintlocke pleaded just itching to fight.

"Hmm. I knew there was a reason I made you my first mate. Let's get this bird in the sky." Nadakhan declared.
