The Yin-Yang eclipse appeared in the night sky above Ninjago. "Move! Move! Move! We're running out of time! Pick up the pace!" Kai shouts impatiently as he lands his bike after driving it off a sand dune.

"Yes, Ninja! It's up to us to save the day! Again." Cole declared as he lands his roadster off a larger sand dune then the one Kai had just driven over.

"Roger that, Kai. Zane! Do you have a read?!" Nya announced to the Nindroid. "ETA too late. Unless we break all speed limits. Increase velocity!" Zane responded to the question.

Sensei Wu comes on Lloyd's screen intercom. "Ninja! I have reached the rendezvous point. Where are you?" Sensei Wu questioned the team over Lloyd's screen.

"The museum is still five clicks away! We're on our way!" Lloyd replied to their Sensei determined to make it there on time.

"Race you there, Lloyd!" Jay laughs as he flies by in his Jet. "I still don't understand how you got the Supersonic Raider Jet?" Lloyd responded to Jay's teasing.

"Uh, because I called dibs. The guy who calls dibs first gets it. Right, Cole?" Jay stated just as Cole begins to fade off in his vehicle.

Cole fidgeting with controls, terrified, his hands ghosting through them. Cole lands in the sand screaming. "No. No! Come back... Come... Oh no!!!" As his vehicle drifts up a mountain and nearly hits Jay's jet.

Jay screamed and dodged the bike just in time. "Oh. Uh. Oh. S-sorry Jay." Cole apologised to the Ninja of Lightning as he pulled himself to a more solid-state.

"Phew. I know you're a ghost but I'm still in the living world and I'd kinda like to keep it that way." Jay announced in frustration to the Master of Earth.

"Ninja! Time is of the essence!" Sensei Wu announced through the screen intercom to the Ninja team.

"He's right. We have one last shot if we want to make it. Engage!" Lloyd explained and the Ninjas combined their vehicles, transforming into Ultra Stealth Raider.

"Fire all engines!" Lloyd declared and Ninjas raced off in their vehicle, cheering and hollering all the way towards Ninjago City at high speeds.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

The Royal Blacksmiths were waiting at the back of the city's new stage with the rest of the performers for that night's celebrations.

"Cole, where are you?" Lou said out loud before turning to his bandmates to express his woes to them. They had always been there for him even after his wife was no more.

"My son was going to meet me before the show to light a lantern." Lou said sadly and the other Royal Blacksmiths try to cheer him up the only way they knew how by singing.

Royal Blacksmiths: "Give you your voice. Give you your song. Put music in your heart. Now my heart is gone. To pieces. Pieces, pieces. Pieces, pieces."

Dareth walked in to see what was going on backstage and to make sure all last-minute preparations were complete when he came across Lou sulking and his bandmates trying to comfort him.

Dareth let out a small sigh the man had the worst luck in the father department that was why he'd asked Dareth to watch over his son while that ninja craze was going on.

"What's more important than family?" Lou uttered sadly. Dareth, seeing how upset Lou was, cleared his throat getting the singing to stop.

"Ahem, hey, it's a good thing your manager is here to help you focus on the important things." Dareth said proudly to the singer distracting him from his woes.

"Look at the Treble Makers, they still came even though (Y/N) isn't here in Ninjago anymore." Dareth related to the Royal Blacksmiths as he grabs a microphone and goes out on stage to welcome everyone who came to tonight's performance.

Lou looks over at the sad look musical group. They all looked so downhearted and weren't making eye contact with anyone just looking blindly at their instruments finishing up with their last-minute preparations.

Lou noted that the Treble Makers had even brought an effigy to their missing member along with them from tonight's show. The effigy being a coffin with a poster of (Y/N) plastered on the lid.

Lou gave them a sad smile before returning to his band. "Hello, Ninjago. Hey, look at that a once-in-a-lifetime lunar eclipse. It's really happening?" Dareth stated as he looked up at the night sky from the front of the stage.

"So how about a warm Day of the Departed greeting for your opening act the Royal Blacksmiths!" Dareth acknowledged. The crowd cheered as the Royal Blacksmiths arrived on stage and began to sing for the adoring crowd of festival-goers.

Royal Blacksmiths: "Be my Day of the Departed baby. Cold and spooky-hearted love. Still, my love for her is off the chart-ed."

(Third Person P.O.V)

The Ninjas arrive just in time at the Ninjago City Museum to meet up with Sensei Wu before leaving for the holiday.

"Sensei Wu, are we too late?" Jay addressed the old Sensei though panting heavily from all the running he'd just done to meet the man.

"There may yet be time." Sensei Wu replied pointing towards the moon in the clear night sky.

"Ninja Go!" Ninjas declared all do Spinjitzu into the museum then back out holding bags from the museum's gift shop.

"Mission accomplished." Jay laughed in success as Nya and Kai high fived one another. "Yeah, good thing we got to the gift shop before it closed." Lloyd responded in relief.

"Yes, a Day of the Departed celebration is incomplete without a Day of the Departed lantern." Zane remarked with a small smile on his face as he held up his own lantern with much pride.

"Oh, this is my favourite holiday. I love all the lights." Nya announced happily. She was as giddy as a small child. "And the costumes." Kai related happily gesturing toward kids who just started trick-or-treating.

"And the sweets. Hit me, kid." Jay said and the one with a pilot costume tosses Jay a piece of white sweet right into the Master of Lightning's mouth.

"Mmm. Best day of the year!" Jay announced to the world at the top of his lungs. "Yes, enjoy the fun and festivities." Sensei Wu said with a chuckle.

"But never lose sight of the true meaning of the Day of the Departed. Today is about remembrance. We light lanterns to remember our ancestors, and to settle our debts." Sensei Wu said, acknowledging the ancient tradition.

"Ah... Yeah, debts." Jay responded sadly. Thinking of (Y/N) and how she refused to come back to them because of all the bad blood between each of them. Jay looked at his teammate whom each wore similar sad expressions on their faces.

Sensei Wu was about to apologise to his students when a man in a red suit with a rather long moustache comes to greet the Ninjas as they were about to leave.

"The Ninjas and Sensei Wu." Dr Saunders said, adjusting his glasses. "Dr Saunders." Sensei Wu said greeting the man. The man had been working with Lloyd's mother for years now at the museum and was more than familiar with the man.

"Oh, please, we are all friends. You must call me by my first name, yes? Uh, Sander, yes?" Dr Saunders said with his signature chuckle.

"Dr Sander Saunders?" Kai whispers to Nya who just shrugged in response. "At your service!" Dr Saunders giggled as he butted in between the siblings with a wide smile on his face.

"I am so pleased to be seeing you at this now. We are opening our new exhibit. Come, you'll see." Dr Saunders said and the Ninjas followed him back inside the museum.

"Come. Might I be presenting the Hall of Villainy!" Dr Saunders said proudly as they all walked to the entrance to the new exhibit.

"Wow!" They all gasped at once at all the detailed displays of the new exhibit.

"Cryptor!" Dr Saunders said pointing out a particular villainous display to the group. "A plastic mannequin." Zane affirmed after scanning it.

"Kozu!" Dr Saunders listed off the next display. "Uncanny." Lloyd responded after getting a good look at the mannequin.

"Chen!" Dr Saunders said pointing at the man and his infamous chair. "Memories." Nya replied, giving the mannequin a once over just to make sure. The mention of debts earlier had shaken her a little.

"Samukai!" Dr Saunders said pointing at a very lifelike statue. "Is he looking at me?" Jay countered fear evident in his voice. "Maybe from the past." Sensei Wu answered reassuring his timid student.

"And Morro!" Dr Saunders said pointing at the boy's statue. Wu had to try very hard not to cry thinking of the last time he'd seen Morro.

"Checking this out! We don't just open on Day of Departed. It's Day of the Departed lunar eclipse. A special eclipse." Dr Saunders announced proudly showing a special display about the eclipse to the Ninjas.

"The rarest Yin-Yang eclipse." Sensei Wu said, trying to take his mind off Morro.

"Oh, poetic, is it not? Scary holiday, scary exhibit, the scary moon. There is magic in the air. Boogie-Boogie!!!" Dr Saunders reported with a laugh. He even tried to pull a scary face as he did.

"It's... Every villain we've ever faced." Kai responded looking around the room. "Not every villain." Cole replied as he walked over to Master Yang's portrait.

"No, there are many more to unpack. Overlord, Golden Master, Preeminent. All the ones who tried to destroy you. Exciting!" Dr Saunders said clapping his hands together in excitement.

"Uh... Yeah! Exciting." Jay gulped, suddenly feeling very uneasy at that moment.

"As we proceed further on the tour you can..." Dr Saunders said as Cole continued looking at Yang's picture.

"Although known to some as the master without a student, Kodokuna Yang will be remembered by most as the creator of Airjitzu, the most powerful martial art in history." Cole read out loud. "Huh, actually I remember Yang as the guy who turned me into a ghost!"

"Cole. Come to me." Yang's voice called out to the Master of Earth.

"Uh... Tell me you heard that." Cole said to the other Ninjas but no one responded.

Scratching his head in confusion Cole looked at the relic encased in clear material. "Hey, uh, Dr Saunders? What's the story on this thing?" As his hand fades through the clear material.

"Hello? Dr Saunders? Anyone?" Cole called out not getting a reply from the doctor.

The Ninjas finally notices the relic encased in the clear box. "Look at that! Cool!" Nya announced pointing at the clear box.

"Oh, you have a good eye, Nya." Dr Saunders proclaimed happily. Cole screwed up his face as though he smelled something foul.

"Her?" Cole replied angrily. "I'm the one who spotted..." Dr Saunders and the Ninjas walk through him as if he wasn't there to begin with. "Uh, Hey! Watch it! You guys are walking right through me!" Cole angrily shouted at them all. But they made no acknowledgment.

"The Yin Blade belonged to Master Yang. It is said to possess much dark magic." Dr Saunders warned the Ninjas.

"They don't hear me, o-or see me! It's like I don't exist anymore. And it's all your fault!!!" Cole shouted as he pointed angrily towards Yang's portrait.

"...which is why it is sealed in this case made of Clearstone, the hardest substance known to humans. Impenetrable by any living being." Dr Saunders lectured describing to the Ninjas what the relic actually is.

"Cole. Come. Come." Yang's ghostly voice whispered to Cole. "Yang!" Cole growled looking around for the man ready to pummel the ghost.

"Close the circle." Yang's ghostly voice answered to Cole. "Close the circle?" Cole responded, still looking around for the ghostly master. "Close the circle..." Yang's ghostly voice replied one final time. "Close the circle." Cole said, acknowledging what he'd heard.

"Huh." Cole gasps, waking up from the trance. Cole looked out the window to see the Ninja outside the museum.

"Thank you so much for such an informative tour, Dr Saunders." Sensei Wu said as they both shook hands.

"Ninjas, at the eclipse's peak we will return here for the concert. But first, we must go forth and honour those we have lost. Those who have Departed." Sensei Wu told his students. The Ninja each happily went their separate ways.

"See you guys soon!" Kai called out to the team. "Happy Day of the Departed Everyone!" Nya said leaving with her brother.

"They don't realise I'm gone. Maybe... I'm Departed!" Cole gasped out loud in absolute horror. He had to fix this and there was only one person that could. Reaching into the Clearstone display Cole pulled out the Yin Blade and left to face Master Yang.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Royal Blacksmiths: Be mine. Day of the Departed baby. Cold and spooky-hearted love.

The Royal Blacksmiths finished their first set of songs bowing to the applauding crowds while Dearth took the stage to distract the crowds as the next band set up. "Huge round of applause for the Royal Blacksmiths! Aren't they fantastic!?" Dareth said proudly, clapping along with the happy crowd as they applauded.

"Hey, speaking of fantastic, it's my duty as their manager to remind you that there's fantastic merch available in the gift shop. Hats, CDs, mugs. Show you're a real fan." Dareth announced proudly to the crowd.

"Now here's the Treble Makers." Dareth said and the Treble Makers stepped out on to the stage.

The sombre atmosphere filled the air as the band just tapped their instruments half-heartedly they had even brought a very stylish black coffin centerstage with a picture of (Y/N) to signify their absent band member.

What was an even bigger change was that Mezmo was now on the drums and Echo had picked up the mic.

The crowd cheered for the copper nindroid. The band smiled and went back to performing for the crowd.

As the band soberly played a few half-hearted notes when a whispering voice came from the coffin they had placed centre stage. "B-b-b-b-b-back-back-back."

This got everyone's attention. Including the band. As the coffin begins to move slightly, as though something was alive inside of it. "B-b-b-b-b-back-back-back." could be heard coming from the coffin louder and clearer this time.

"B-b-b-b-b-back-back-back." Came from the coffin once more before the lid flew open dramatically and the person inside stepped out revealing that they were in fact (Y/N) to the stunned crowd and band members.

The crowd cheered and the Treble Makers quickly returned to their original instruments with big smiles of pure happiness on their faces over the fact that (Y/N) was back in Ninjago and had made it in time for the show.

Sensei Wu had returned to what was once his father's temple. The Monastery of Spinjitzu.

"We honour our ancestors because if we never look to the past, we cannot envision the future." Sensei Wu said out loud as he burned some incense in his father's honour.

"On the Day of the Departed, we pause to remember those we've lost. And enjoy our time with those we are still fortunate to have. I raise this cup of Remembrance Tea to you, Father. We will never forget." Sensei Wu said, raising a cup of tea.

(Third Person P.O.V)

____ Ninjago ____

Cole arrives at the Temple of Airjitzu ready for a fight. "All right, Yang. Show yourself. Do you hear me? Show yourself!" Cole demanded, screaming for Yang to face him in battle.

Yang appeared before the Master of Earth. "You received my message." Yang answered Cole.

"I got it, all right. And I've got one for you. It's direct from the business end of your own weapon." Cole said, pulling out the relic.

"The Yin Blade!?" Yang gasps at Cole. "But how? It's encased in solid Clearstone. That case is impenetrable." Yang continued to gasp.

"Not to a ghost. Which, thanks to you, I still am." Cole responded smirking at the ghost. "What are you going to do?" Yang replied with fear in his voice.

"There's magic in the air. You know, eclipse and all?" Cole announced with a smug grin. "Please, where is your holiday spirit? It's the Day of the Departed." Yang argued with the Master of Earth.

"Uh-huh. And I'm settling my debt." Cole said charges at Yang, but Yang dodges causing Cole to break a vase that had been right behind Yang the entire time instead of hitting Yang, this, in turn, caused Yang to laugh maniacally.

"What? What's so funny?" Cole demanded through gritted teeth. "This. That. All of it." Yang continued to laugh at the Master of Earth.

"What's happening?" Cole questioned Master Yang determined to find out what the man had done. "My plan." Yang revealed as the spirits from the vase leave the temple and possess mannequins in the Hall of Villainy.

"You never should have played with dark magic, boy. This Day of the Departed will be remembered as my Night of the Return. The Yin Blade, if you please." Yang declared proudly, holding his hand out for the blade to be handed to him.

"Yeah, I don't think so." Cole responded clutching the blade tighter out of spit.

"Well, I do." Yang replied as Cole turns around and sees that he is surrounded by Yang's students, they quickly handcuffed Cole with Vengestone cuffs and brought their master the Yin Blade.

(Third Person P.O.V)

The Treble Makers were drumming up a storm with their music and the crowds of screaming fans were eating it up in a hysterical frenzy.

Ronin watched as the Treble Makers finished one more song. "Good to see she's back. But with everyone here, that means no one's home. Time for a little scrap-hunting." Ronin happily proclaimed and takes his leave.

(Third Person P.O.V)

The spirits from the vase leave the temple and possess mannequins in the Hall of Villainy. Kozu starts to talk in his native language. "Huh?" Morro announced in shock as the other villain's souls also took control of the mannequins made in their likeness.

"Who-Who are you?" Samukai questioned Morro. "I should ask you the same thing." Morro said in surprise. "I am Samukai, Skulkin general, fearsome master of the axe." Samukai answered the young ghost.

"Ha! Fearsome? Do you call that fearsome?" Kozu declared as he slices a pillar with his Elemental Blade. "This is fearsome! I am Kozu, destroyer of all foolish enough to challenge me." Kozu loudly proclaimed deeply confident in his skills.

"Yeah, so how did you do against a guy who destroyed you?" Cryptor asked rather smugly. Kozu growls at Cryptor and violently swats at the Nindroid.

"But what has brought us back?" Chen said looking around until he sees buttons.

"Oh, buttons, buttons, buttons!" Chen screamed in childish delight then proceeded to press one, causing his chair to inflate. He then pressed another one, causing his chair to deflate.

Chen let out a happy squeal then pressed another one, sending fortune cookies flying out of his chair and raining down all around him. Chen then pressed another one, causing two mechanical legs to come out from underneath his chair that decided to start to walk off.

"Oh. Brake? No. Brake!? No!" Chen screamed as he crashes his chair. "I'm all right." Chen called out then proceeded to crash his chair again only louder this time. "Still all right." Chen shouted again.

"What is going on here?" Samukai said looking around the hall completely confused as to how he'd gotten here.

"Well, the skinny man in the silky girl robes can control his chair. And—" Cryptor reported. "No, I mean with us." Samukai interrupted Cryptor.

"Perhaps he can explain." Morro said, pointing to Yang's portrait. There was another loud crash. "Still all right." Chen declared and joined the others gathering around the portrait.

"My magic has brought you back from the Departed Realm to Ninjago, but you can only remain for the duration of the night. Unless..." Yang said, taking control of his portrait.

"Unless?" Chen questioned Yang. "Unless you destroy the Ninja who destroyed you. Use your Departed Blades, and you will take their place among the living." Yang explained bluntly.

"Hall of Villainy? More like Hall of Empty." Pythor said coming into the hall while reading a map. Pythor looks up from his map to see his mannequin. "Oh. Nice." Pythor says as he takes his Anacondrai Staff.

"The Ninjas are dispersed around Ninjago, and you will have revenge." Yang said, causing the villains to cheer.

"Did someone say revenge? I want in." Pythor said, slithering up to the group of ghosts. "Ah, Cryptor, my loyal friend." Pythor chuckles greeting the Nindroid. "Chen!" Pythor growled in disdain at the man. "Pythor." Chen replied coolly to the angry serpent staring him down.

"You must each choose a Ninja and—" Yang proceeded to explain. "I call Zane." Samukai declared before anyone else got a chance to say anything else.

"No! He's my clone." Cryptor objected, if anyone was going to fight Zane it was going to be him. "Technically, you're his clone." Pythor pointed out to the Nindroid. A sly smirk spreading across his face as he did.

"The blacksmith brats are mine." Chen declared, those brats had ruined his plans, so he was going to make them pay.

"How come you get two?" Pythor spat at Chen, finding it whole unfair that Chen got to enjoy killing two of their combined enemies. "Besides I get the brats. It's their fault (Y/N) is no longer here as a fellow Anacondrai I get that honour." Pythor declared, this was a matter of honour and no one was going to rob him of that.

"(Y/N)'S GONE!" Both Chen and Morro shouted in shock and panic. "Yes. Thanks to the efforts of the ninja, the (Y/N) we knew is gone." Pythor sadly answered, lowering his head as he did. "With General Arcturus Great Grand-daughter no longer here. I am once again the last of the Anacondrai tribe." Pythor sadly admitted to those around him.

"Wait! (Y/N) was General Arcturus Great Grand-daughter!" Chen shouted in dismay. "I should have gotten her to marry me when I had the chance." Chen lamented out loud.

Morro and Pythor both exploded in anger at Chen. "NEVER!" Pythor hissed at Chen. Pythor was ready to sink his fangs into the ghost, even though it wouldn't do anything. "You keep your greasy mitts off of her!" Morro threatened, pointing his sword at Chen. Whereas Pythor couldn't damage Chen he sure could.

The three began to scream and yell at each other while the others watched. "Kind of wish that I had brought snacks." Samukai whispered excitedly to Cryptor. Master Yang rolled his eyes and let out a bitter sigh. He really should have chosen better villains from the Ninja's shared past battles.

Outside of the museum, the loud music hid the villains shouting from anyone that could have overheard them. The Treble Makers continued their amazing set of songs for the large crowds of cheering fans.

The arguing amongst Ninjago most infamous had devolved into everyone arguing over one and other over who got to kill who.

"Silence! Time is wasting, and I've got my own thing going on, so work it out!" Yang screamed as he leaves the adversaries to their own devices.

"I call Zane. He's mine to kill." Cryptor declared before anyone could stop him from calling dibs. "I have a score to settle with Kai, so he's mine. His bratty sister too." Chen announced to the others determined to settle the score.

"If we are going by scores. Sensei Wu. We left things... Unfinished. I will settle our debt, once and for all." Morro stated after mulling it over.

"Fine. I'll take Lloyd then, his family destroyed mine. It's finally time to return the favour." Pythor affirmed determined to get even with the Green Ninja and his family for what they had done.

"That only leaves Jay. One Ninja, but the two of us. Okay, rock, paper, scissors?" Samukai offered. Kozu shook his head. "I want the brown one that took my army." Kozu insisted, rage burning in his eyes.

"Fine by me." Samukai said just wanting to fight someone he didn't care who. "Then it's settled. Although, the Ninjas won't go easily. Perhaps we could use some help?" Pythor claimed, offering his map to the fellow villains.

"The Hall of Sidekicks." Cryptor said reading Pythor's map. "Convenient, is it not?" Pythor laughed loudly following Cryptor.

Kozu walks away only to see Dareth outside on the stage before turning around and following them to the hall. "This will be easy." Kozu laughed to himself as he left the hall.

Dr Saunders sticks his head out of his office. Seeing nobody around the man shrugged and went back inside to continue his work. "Must be the music." Dr Saunders says to himself as he closes the door.

The crowds outside of the museum were still blissfully unaware of the evil that had been unleashed in the building next to them. As the Treble Makers continued playing for the adoring crowd.

Once the Treble Makers finished singing and the crowd burst out in cheers and applause, some fans even screaming for an encore. Dareth walked back out on stage to address everyone in hopes of getting them to calm down. While the band took a break and rested for a short time.

"Now, before they continue, I just want to say thank you for coming and getting into the spirit of the night. Look at those costumes." Dareth said looking out over the hyped-up crowds.

"We have some funny clowns, some aliens with astronauts. A white-haired biker chick and wow, are those Stone Warriors?" Dareth said pointing his mic at Kozu who had made his way to the front of the screaming crowd of raving fans.

Kozu calls Dareth some very unkind words in his native language. "So realistic." Dareth chuckled not understanding Kozu.

"Revenge will be mine!" Kozu declared and the Stone Warriors jumped on stage.

"Hey, that's no costume. Run!" Dareth screams into the mic and everyone in the crowd panics, running away as fast as they could in a blind panic. Shoving people and tripping over as they fled, screaming for their lives.

Nidhogg who had been napping under several tarps behind the stage awoke to the sound of screaming humans. The panicked humans were so afraid that they hadn't even noticed Nidhogg. Who was now on full display for them all to see.

Nidhogg was used to humans screaming and fleeing in terror so that didn't bother the undead dragon. What did bother him was the Stone Warrior that was poking at him with its weapon.

Nidhogg turned to face the foolish Stone Warrior that dared to poke his backside, this did nothing to deter the Stone Warrior who snarled at him in his stony tongue.

Nidhogg decided if the creature wished to die so badly he was more than happy to oblige it and snatched the rude Stone Warrior up in his mighty maw before crushing it to death with his teeth.

"Revenge!" Kozu screams as Dareth runs toward the museum, past a small group of terrified concert-goers.

"Destruction!" Kozu declared charging after Dareth determined to destroy him. "That's good!" Dareth shouted back as he continued to run. "Crazy!" Kozu mumbled to himself as Dareth roamed the museum.

"Helmet of Shadows, where are you? You control the Stone Warriors, so I can control the Stone Warriors." Dareth pleaded when the Stone Warriors found him and began chasing him around the museum.

Just as (Y/N) and the Treble Makers arrive to help Dareth. "Hey ugly!" (Y/N) shouted at the stone warriors and Kozu. Kozu turned to look at (Y/N).

"Why not fight a real warrior." (Y/N) sneered at Kozu with the rest of the Treble Makers backing her up and ready to strike. Chokun, Lasha, Snappa and Mezmo all lined up gabbing weapons off the exhibits. Echo was already geared up to fight his gears already spinning.

"For our ancestors! Attack!" Chokun declared and the Treble Makers charges into the army, sending many of them flying. Kozu immediately runs for cover dived behind a large sculpture.

(Y/N) leads the charge with a flying sidekick shattering a Stone Warrior while Snappa rushes forwards and begins slashing through a Stone Warrior with the sword he'd swiped.

Mezmo spies a nearby Stone Warrior, Lasha slides in and dispatches two them with a trident. Chokun carved into one with the tiger claws he'd procured.

Echo powers up his steam powered speed and takes off. He begins tearing through the oncoming Stone Warriors. Echo sprints to the end of the museum hall, and spins around taking out more Stone Warriors.

He dashes out of combat for a moment. Then dashes back in and engages the Stone Warriors once more.

(Y/N) looks to her left and flips backwards, dodging a Stone Warrior's attack "Watch out!" (Y/N) shouted, shoving Echo out of the way of an attack.

One of the Stone Warrior rams into (Y/N), sending her flying and causing her to be thrown into a nearby crate. The crate is dented by the impact and it splits open, revealing its cargo of ninja themed portraits.

The Treble Makers seem to be holding their own but the seemingly endless horde of Stone Warriors Warriors keep coming.

Dareth crawls toward the Helmet while they are distracted. "Helmet of Shadows. I found it. Security, eighty-six this guy." Dareth chuckled to himself as he unlocked the case and takes control of the Army.

The Stone Army then turns on Kozu, grabbing him and rams him painfully against a nearby wall. "No, no. Release me." Kozu screamed at the Stone Warriors who responded. "All hail the Brown Ninja!"

"My museum! What have you done!?" Dr Saunders cried out at the mess having only now come to see what all that noise was. Dareth nervously laughs before saying. "Sorry." to the distort museum worker.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Yang's students had Cole firmly surrounded. So Cole decided to try a new tactic.

"So guys, what say you help me out? You know, student-to-Ninja? Hello? Look, I know Yang's your master, but how can you be on his side?" Cole asked Yang's students.

"Your pleas are useless. My students, well, they're loyal to no one but me." Yang replied for them.

"Come on. Yang is like the definition of evil." Cole estated trying to get through to the students. "Actually, "Yang" means good." But I always did aspire for great." Yang explained to Cole with a smirk on his face.

"I dedicated my life to the study of martial arts. I mastered them all and even created my own. Airjitzu was my first achievement, but it was nothing compared to what I would discover next," Yang continued to monologue.

"My research revealed the location of the Yin Blade, a weapon whose magic was so powerful, it was said to hold the key to eternal life. Control the magic and I'd be forever remembered as Ninjago's greatest master,"

"Immortality was so near. It was time for the ultimate test. Myself. But something went...wrong." Yang bemoaned, referring to his current condition.

"So while I will live forever, it is only as a ghost. Cursed to haunt this once-proud temple as Master of the House. Never able to return. Until tonight, thanks to you." Yang mocked Cole as he finished talking.

"Thanks to me? How?" Cole responded to Yang's cruel provoking.

"You said it yourself. There's magic in the air. On the Day of the Departed, when there's a Yin-Yang lunar eclipse, the Yin Blade can cut the Rift of Return. So thank you for this." Yang replied with a smug grin.

"You're not welcome. And you won't get away with it. I'm supposed to meet my friends soon. When they see I'm missing, they'll come for me." Cole affirmed, confident in his friends.

"Ha! See you're missing. Look at you. You can barely see yourself." Yang commented laughing loudly as he did. "Besides, you've caused quite a few problems for your friends." Yang announced with a sly smirk.

Both Kai and Nya had decided to celebrate the holiday in their parents' Four Weapons Blacksmith shop.

"It feels strange being back in our parents' shop after all this time." Nya stated as she looked around the shop. "Nya, do you think we'll ever find out what actually happened to them?" Kai asked his sister quietly.

"I could tell you. But you have bigger things to worry about." Chen announced from outside the shop having overheard Kai's question.

"Chen?" Nya questions as Kai grabs two swords and hands one to Nya. "I don't know how you're back, but it's two against one." Kai proclaimed walking outside to face Chen only to discover the man is a ghost.

"Is it?" Chen announced revealing the Anacondrai Cultists have also been resurrected to fight by his side once more.

"Goodbye, Ninjas." Chen said and presses a button causing his chair to start to rapidly punch him. Chen quickly presses another button, causing carnival music to play as the chair pummeled him mercilessly.

Kai and Nya watch on in stunned bemusement at their foes incompetence.

He then presses a third button that causes disco music to begin playing. "Nope. Hmm. Uh, almost. Ah. Found it. Yes." Chen cheered, activating the chair's weapons. Kai and Nya pailed as Chen advanced with a smug look of superiority.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Jay happily arrives on time to visit his parents at the junkyard. "Mum! Dad!" Jay called out to his parents. "Jay!" Ed yelled hugging Jay. "Uh, Edna, dear, Jay here. Is that crumb cake ready? Jay's starving." Ed called out to his beloved wife.

"I'm fine, Dad." Jay whines at his dad. "I know, son, but I love your mother's crumb cakes." Ed whispered to Jay with a wink causing Jay to roll his eyes at his father's antics.

Samukai walks out the trailer having taken the kind and motherly Edna as a hostage. "Guess who's back?" Samukai announced proudly his minions laughing menacingly behind their boss.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Lloyd had chosen to visit the Corridor of Elders to see his father's statue. "I know you're gone, but sometimes it's like you're still with me." Lloyd said to his father's statue out of the corner of his eye he sees someone behind a boulder.

"Pythor?" Lloyd called out correctly guessing whom he'd just seen slithering away in the shadows. Lloyd follows after him but finds no one. While Lloyd scratches his head Pythor slithers closer to from behind Lloyd.

Pythor shoves Lloyd into the sand. "Pythor, what are you doing?" Lloyd demanded angrily pushing himself out of the sand.

"You and your team killed (Y/N)." Pythor spat at the Green Ninja. "So I'm giving you a one-way ticket to join his daddy." Pythor declared angrily.

"Sorry, I honestly don't feel like going on a vacation." Lloyd countered spitting out some sand that he'd swallowed earlier. Pythor threw his staff at a statue of Sensei Garmadon causing the head of the statute to start to crumble and fall.

"Oh, no!" Lloyd shouted and ran to the statute top to stop it from crumbling.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Cole watches in horror as Yang showed him the events through a mirror. "My friends. What have you done?" Cole shouted at Yang. "No, Cole, what have you done?" Yang replied with a sinister chuckle.

"How? How did you know I would steal the Yin Blade and release all those ghosts?" Cole questioned the ghostly Master.

"You were scared you were departing and that your friends had forgotten you. So I took advantage of your fragile mental state to trick you." Yang teased Cole. Cole pulled a face at Yang.

"Oh, oh, you weren't actually asking, were you? Give up, Cole. You're by yourself. There's no one to help you. Now, excuse me, I have a rift to open. Watch him, just in case." Yang proclaimed leaving while his students to watch over Cole.

(Third Person P.O.V)

After watching the security videos of the museum the band, Dareth, Dr Saunders and the remaining crowd of concert-goers regrouped back at the stage to see if it was safe and what was going on.

"What have those idiot Ninja's done this time!" (Y/N) growled out loud. The tone of her voice caused the gathered crowd to shake in fear. No one dared correct her at that moment.

"Echo you go save your brother from those copies." (Y/N) ordered with a grunt of frustration. Echo saluted her then left to save his brother.

"You call Ronin and have his cheek in on Jay's parents." (Y/N) instructed Lou who began dialling away on his phone.

"You will rescue Chen from the brats of fire and water." (Y/N) informed Nidhogg. Nidhogg took into the night sky.

"You two, Morro." (Y/N) told Snappa and Lasha. Although Lasha and Snappa complained about it they did as they were told.

"Dareth and I will take on this Yang." (Y/N) said volunteering herself and Dareth. Dareth didn't bother arguing and just strained his helmet, ready for battle with his stone boys.

"You two, get a hold of Pythor and tell him he absolutely needs to check in with the tribes." (Y/N) instructed Chokun and Mezmo.

With that settled (Y/N) whistled for the Serpentine bike. Who is more than happy to give her a ride. (Y/N) pull Dareth aboard the living bike. "Hold on tight." (Y/N) informed Dearth before the Serpentine bike started to take off.

Dareth had barely enough time to wrap one arm around (Y/N)'s waist and clasped one hand onto his helmet. The Stone Army running after them shouting. "For the Brown Ninja!"

The Royal Blacksmiths began to sing their goodbye's to the Treble Makers and Dareth.

The Royal Blacksmiths: "Revenge will be mine. And you know I'm feeling fine. Because my girl's coming."

"Thanks for the song boys." Dareth shouted from the back of the Serpentine motorcycle as the stone warriors followed them into battle.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Who designed this thing?" Chen huffed angrily as he pressed more buttons on his chair. Throwing a mini tantrum at the functions of the chair failing him.

Kai seeing this as his chance yelled to his little sister. "The Raider bikes." Kai shouted to his little sister. They both ran to get on their bikes as fast as they could while Chen was distracted.

Kai falls off his bike and lands in front of Chen. Chen laughs at the Ninja of Fire's misfortune and presses more buttons. "Oh, good. Better. Best." Chen said reading the buttons then pressing them all.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Zane decided to celebrate the holiday in Birchwood Forest. Where he lived with his father. He wished his little brother could have been there with him to celebrate but Echo was still hurting over what his father had done to him and Zane didn't want to bring anymore pain to Echo.

The statue Zane had just made out of ice and snow of his father crumbles to nothing. "Oops. Did I hurt your dear old dad? Or should I say our dad?" Cryptor laughed at Zane while standing in the ruins of the ice sculpture.

Zane pulled himself into a fighting stance ready to defend himself. Cryptor let out a hollow laugh at the Master of Ice while he summoned more Nindroids to fight by his side.

The first nindroid decides to rush him with his swords but Zane kicks at his legs to knock him off balance and punches him into the ground.

A second ghostly nindroid tries to swipe at Zane with his sword but he dodges with a cartwheel in order to kick his arm away and doges another swipe before kicking him away.

"Escape is futile, Zane. You and I share programming. I know your every move before you even make it." Cryptor laughed at Zane, mocking him.

"Even this one?" Zane says and Airjitzus into a tree. Which Cryptor copies complete with ease. "If you know it, I know it." The general laughed.

The Master of Ice then dodges a volley of shots from a group of ghostly nindroids firing their lazers, before proceeding to kick off another sword-wielding nindroid to backflip.

A nindroid tries to engage Zane in hand-to-hand, but he is knocked down by Zane. Zane uses his metal arm again to block a strike from another nindroids sword, before uppercutting him.

Zane then steps on General Cryptor's foot, knocking him to the ground, before Zane delivers a left twirling kick to a trio of nindroids that try to attack him from behind. As Zane tosses another nindroid to the ground, General Cryptor gets back up and fires his lazer from his eye scope at Zane, though he dodges the shot.

Zane knocks out two of the sword-wielding nindroids with a twirling kick.before using his airjitzu to project himself toward General Cryptor.

General Cryptor, tries and slash at Zane with his Departed Blade as he gets closer. "Enjoy the Departed Realm. And say hi to dear old dad for me." Cryptor viciously taunted Zane raising his weapon to strike.

Back at the Monastery of Spinjitzu Sensei Wu continued to show his respects to his departed father.

"An eclipse is always an omen, but is this one a sign of good...or bad?" Sensei Wu said look up at the lunar eclipse.

Morro goes up behind him quietly and carefully. "Bad. Very bad." Morro whispered. Sensei Wu realises it's Morro that's behind him. Turns to face him.

"Well, my former student. How have you returned, Morro?" Sensei Wu questioned Morro.

"The question is not how, but why." Morro retorted, clenching his blade tightly. "You were supposed to protect her Sensei but you failed." Morro spat at his old Master.

"You let her die, Sensei." Morro spat again, as the pair circled each other feeling each other out for an opening.

"Morro I don't know who told you that but they were lying to you." Sensei Wu began to explain to his former student. "I don't want to hear any more of your lies." Morro screamed at Sensei Wu.

Sensei Wu wields his staff at Morro. "We have fought twice before. And although it pains me, I will do so again if I must." Sensei Wu warned Morro. "Wait!" A voice shrieked out from the Monastery of Spinjitzu stairs.

"I... hate this... place..." The voice continued to call out. "Too... many... stairs... Sadist..." A second voice huffed in bitter frustration and exhaustion.

"Screw it! Just... Let... him... kill... him." Lasha said, almost passing out from the climb. "Yeah... we'll just... tell (Y/N)... we tried." Snappa agreed as he was starting to see stars.

Two Serpentine then proceeded to pass out on the stairs in front of Morro and Sensei Wu stopping the impending fight.

Cole tries to talk to one of the ghostly students. "So I didn't get your name." Cole says to the ghost student. But the ghost student doesn't talk back to Cole.

"Okay, I'll just call you Chuck." Cole informed the ghost that was guarding him.

"Look, Chuck, I know you think you're Yang's student and maybe you were once but now you're his prisoner. Don't you see? He's not your friend. He's your captor. You got to shake off his spell. Then, we can stop him. Together. You and me." Cole pleaded to the student but the student still doesn't talk.

"Okay, no pressure, but you have three seconds to decide. One, two, three." Cole says, jumping up and kicking Chuck.

"Guess I'm working solo, Chuck." Cole chuckled to himself and left to face Yang.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Don't you worry, Edna. I'll take care of those piles of bones." Ed promised his wife as he rolled up his sleeves to fight the ghost that had kidnapped his beloved wife.

"Oh, now, Ed, be careful. Dr Berkman says not to strain your back." Edna warned her beloved husband. Not wanting him to get hurt.

Jay prevents his father from going after Samukai. "I got this, Dad. Lightning." Jay said and shocks Samukai's sidekicks.

"I have no idea what you want with my parents." Jay said to the ghost. "It's not your parents I want, Jay. It's you!" Samukai says and throws Edna to Ed and proceeds to fight Jay.

"Feisty. Just like his mother." Ed said proudly to Krazi and Frakjaw who were just standing by the side and watching as the fight progressed.

"Fools. Don't just stand there. Grab them. Then he won't fight me." Samukai shouted at Krazi and Frakjaw, pointing at Jay's parents.

"No!" Jay cried out, running to save his mum and dad. "Oh, yes!" Samukai says and trips Jay pinning him helplessly in the dirt.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Cole desperately tries to find his way around the temple only to come across more students. "Hey... So any chance you want to tell me where Yang is opening that rift?" Cole questions the ghosts.

The ghostly students all grab weapons, causing Cole to sigh. "So... That's a no? Whoa, let's not be hasty. This isn't a fair fight. I'm handcuffed." Cole pointed out and one of the students removes the cuffs on Cole.

"Ah! Oh. So you might want a few more guys." Cole says as he disarms and defeats them. Using his ghostly form to his advantage by using it to temporarily stick to the roof of the hall and battling them from the roof and walls.

"Okay, sports fans, the score is Cole three, evil possessed students. Zero." Cole cheered to himself.

"Hurry up. I haven't got another three thousand years." Yang hissed at the eclipse. Cole goes in the opposite direction before he notices Yang outside on the roof. Then, unfortunately, comes across some more of Yang's students.

"Okay, Cole, it's showtime." Cole declared ready for a fight. "Deal with him." Yang growled at his students.

The ghostly students surrounded Cole charging at him, Cole jumped up into the air and slammed his fists into the ground, sending a ripple through the floor, knocking the incoming students off their feet.

As the ghost students get up, Cole charges at one, jumping into the air and performed a somersault kick on him.

Cole then turned around and uppercuts a second one coming for him from behind, following it up with a spin kick that sent another two, tumbling aside.

As the rest charge at Cole, Cole kicks one in front of him and kicks the one behind him. Another student swings away at him from behind, but Cole sweeps his legs out from under him then punches him up into the air, only to slam him to the ground.

Cole then takes a couple of incoming students with Spinjizu sending them flying. As the last fallen students collapse. Cole says to himself. "Maybe I can do this myself."

"Whew! I'm coming for you, Yang. It's over. You don't have any more students. You're all alone." Cole declared to the temple's master. "Oh, I am not alone. Not at all." Yang laughs as more students appear to fight at their master's command.

"What's the matter, Yang? Too afraid to take me on by yourself?" Cole mocked the old master. "Too busy." Yang sniffed. "The eclipse is beginning to fade, Cole. Just like you. Take him." Yang said as he summoned more students to fight Cole.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Sensei Wu and Morro stood over the two passed out Serpentine. Sensei Wu poked the pair of Serpentine with his staff. The Serpentine groaned but didn't get up. "I'm glad those guys burnt this place down." Lasha hissed in disdain for this place.

"I know the First Spinjitzu Master created the Serpentine... but that guy was a sadist." Snappa added trying to regain his breath from the long climb. "What did you say about (Y/N)?" Morro questioned the Serpentine. "She's alive. Sent us... to save you." Snappa told him before collapsing back into the dirt.

"Oh um..." Both Sensei Wu and Morro said at the same time. "It appears there has been a misunderstanding." Sensei Wu chuckled and stroked his beard.

"Where's (Y/N) now?" Morro questioned the Serpentine. "She went to go kick that Yang guy's butt after he sicked that Kozu guy and the Stone Warriors on everyone at the show." Lasha informed the pair huffing from the lack of breath.

"Why? To what purpose has Yang done this?" Sensei Wu questioned the tired Serpentine. Who were just laying there, too weak to respond to the Spinjizu Master.

"Master Yang has put your team in terrible danger. He's made you forget one of your own, one who was already slipping away." Morro informed Sensei Wu in a serious tone.

"Tell me more." Sensei Wu pleaded with his former pupil. "I will but aboard the Bounty. You have to warn the others." Morro instructed as he grabbed one of the Serpentine to dag on board. Sensei Wu following his lead. Snappa and Lasha both let out a huge whine as they were dragged aboard the bounty.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Kai now riding with Nya on her bike trying to escape Chen and his loyal cultists. That were following them of their own vehicles, determined to end the sibling's lives that very night.

"Duck!" Nya screams at her brother Kai manages to duck just in time to miss a tree branch but Zugu hits the branch and is sent flying into the tree returning him to the Realm of the Departed.

Kai and Nya let out a cheer of triumph at Zugu's second departure from this realm. "This is my stop. Ninja, go!" Kai said using his Spinjitzu to get off the bike. Nya gets off her bike to confront Chen beside Kai.

"Fair fight. I win." Chen announced firing a missile, but Nya repelled it with Water. Chen is almost hit with the missile but is snatched up in dragon claws. Chen screamed as Nidhogg took off with him and his beloved chair. Leaving Nya and Kai standing there in disbelief as they watch Nidhogg escape with Chen in his claws.

"You saw that too, right?" Kai questioned his little sister, not completely sure he was seeing what he'd just witnessed. Nya just nodded and let out a tiny squeak as she did. Still too in shock to even utter a word.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Pythor continues to torment Lloyd while the Green Ninja tries to desperately hold the statue of his father together.

"It's all your fault, everything bad that ever happened to (Y/N) is yours and your team's fault." Pythor hissed at Lloyd, rubbing salt in the wounds at the mention of (Y/N).

Lloyd did his best not to cry at the mention of (Y/N). "Fool! You continually underestimate me. You're so like your father." Pythor spat at the Green Ninja, enjoying himself as he watched Lloyd struggle.

"Can't... hold... on." Lloyd said as he was forced to use Spinjitzu to free himself from the crushing weight but destroying the statue of his father in the process.

"Pythor!" Chokun shouted at the hostel Anacondrai. "Pythor stop!" Mezmo screamed at Pythor desperately trying to get the other serpent's attention.

"What is it!? Can't you see I'm avenging my tribe!" Pythor yelled down at them. Enraged that they would dare stop him from avenging his tribe. "(Y/N)'s back here in Ninjago!" Mezmo screamed the much-needed information back up at Pythor.

"What!?" Pythor shouted in shock. "She came back!?" Lloyd squealed down to the two Serpentine overjoyed to hear of (Y/N)'s return. "Yeah, Pythor you really need to start coming to tribe meetings." Mezmo scolded Pythor in a stern tone.

"Time for you to call it quits." Lloyd told Pythor and shaped up to finish fighting him. "No, just time for a spectacular exit." Pythor announced and tripped Lloyd with his tail as he jumped off of the statue into the sand below.

"Next time I'll take my own advice and bring some sidekicks." Pythor groans to himself before making his getaway into the sands before anyone could stop him.

"So what now?" Chokun questioned Mezmo. Mezmo looked down at Lloyd still face down in the sand before shrugging and turning to leave. Chokun looked back at the Green Ninja and childishly kicked some sand on top of Lloyd before following Mezmo out of the Elemental Masters Corridor of Elders.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Yang climbs onto the temple's roof. "Good to see you, rare eclipse. Now help me to finally open up the rift." Yang said the moon with a smug grin on his ghostly visage.

"All right, guys, time to take a break. Or not." Cole said fighting Yang's brainwashed students again. "Open the rift. Set me free." Yang called out to the eclipse.

"Okay, okay, how about that break?" Cole said slightly out of breath to the possessed students but they just get back up and fight again.

"Yes. It is working." Yang declared in triumph as the eclipse began to cast its magic down upon them.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Samukai towers over Jay prepared to strike. "For what it's worth, this isn't personal, Jay." Samukai tells the Master of Lightning. "It kind of feels like it is, Samukai." Jay spat back at the skeleton.

"It's only so I can return. I promise that as soon as this is over, I'll release your parents." Samukai promised to show that it indeed was personal.

Ronin appears with his Salvage M.E.C. and frees Jay's parents, kicking Samukai as he does. "Ronin? Thanks for coming." Jay said in slight shock at seeing the thief coming to the rescue.

"Thank (Y/N). She asked me to help look after folks in exchange for some scrap metal for my mech." Ronin informed Jay with a slight chuckle.

"What!? (Y/N)'s back!" Jay shouted at the thief in disbelief. "Never mind that now. Finish them, kid." Ronin yelled back at the distracted Jay.

Ronin chases after the Skulkin as Jay releases a giant magnet that crushes Krazi and Frakjaw into dust. "An old foe, new trick. Watch me, Samukai." Jay says while shocking the Skulkin leader.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Cryptor had Zane pinned onto the snow-covered ground ready to end him once and for all.

"I know your every move. I know how you hit. I know how you will kick. and I-" Cryptor copped a huge cloud of steam to the face. Cryptor screamed and backed away from Zane.

"Brother?" Zane calls out in surprise at seeing Echo. "Brother!?" Cryptor coughed from the steam. "Greetings brother, (Y/N) sent me to help you." Echo greeted Zane and helped him up.

Cryptor went to attack Echo but Echo's steam power allowed him to easily speed out of the way, blinding Cryptor with melted snow.

"Why you little!" Cryptor hissed at Echo but Echo just zipped around happily defeating Cryptor's back up with ease with snow, steam and his happy can-do attitude.

"Say hi to father for me and that he is not forgiven for abandoning me." Echo said in a cheery tone as he kicked snow into Cryptor's face once more before letting him have it with the steam which melted the ice turning it into water neutralising Cryptor.

The Master of Ice sat there in the snow blinking at his brother as he tried to process his younger brothers earlier words. Zane then blinked again. "What do you mean (Y/N) sent you?" Zane questioned Echo, unsure if he had heard his little brother correctly.

"I mean exactly that, (Y/N) sent me to help save you." Echo repeated himself for his brother before falling to pieces. "Oh dear." Zane said and started helping Echo reattach his limbs.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Jay happily devours one of his mother's crumb cakes. "Mm. Mm. Great crumb cake, Mum." Jay said complementing his mother on her awesome baking. Ed hands Ronin a bag of scrap for Ronin to fix his Salvage M.E.C. as a thank you for his hard work.

"Happy Day of the Departed, to you too." Edna chuckled. "Oh, and thank you for the bag of scrap." Ronin said, thanking him. "Of course. All you have to do is ask if you need some." Ed said with a smile. Ronin returned the smile.

"So? (Y/N)'s really back?" Jay questioned the thief with a mouth full of his mother's crumb cake.

"Yeah, saw her myself singing on stage she even called me to check up on your folks while I was out on a scrap run." Ronin chuckled as he stuffed his face. "Oh that reminds me, I have to make a quick call." Ronin apologised before pulling out his phone to call Skylor.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Yang watches impatiently as the rift opens. "Ah, here it comes." Yang said cackling to himself. "Ugh, they just keep coming. I can't do this much longer. One last time. Ninja, go!" Cole said as he uses Spinjitzu again and again to defeat Yang's students.

This time Cole defeats all but one of Yang's students. "Don't make me hurt you too." Cole pleaded with the student. This student decided to take Cole's advice and ran away.

Cole replaces the broken staff he held with his sword then went out of the window and after Yang. "Stop this, Yang." Cole yells at the old master.

"Freedom! Return! It's all mine!" Yang shouts in victory not even listening to Cole's pleading.

"No! You... Are not going... Anywhere!" Cole declared and Airjitzus after Yang. Grabbing a hold of Yang by the leg causing them both to fall back on the temple's roof.

(Third Person P.O.V)

Jay makes it to the museum, where the other Ninjas are waiting for him to join them.

"Guys, I have the ghost story to end all ghost stories. You will never guess what just happened." Jay screamed at the team as Ronin dropped him off before leaving again.

"You battled the possessed mannequin of a mortal enemy?" Kai said, cutting the Master of Lightning off. "He and his goons tried to send you to the Departed Realm with magic blades?" Nya stated with a big smug grin.

"But you defeated them first." Zane spoke as Echo waved goodbye to Ronin, which Ronin returned to the copper Nindroid. "And saw their ghosts disappear into the night." Lloyd finished for Zane who was waving for his little brother to return to his side.

"And that (Y/N) is back in Ninjago." They all said at once to Jay with a big laugh. "Oh, okay, fine. You guessed. Well, since you know so much, why were all those ghosts out here?" Jay said to the team.

"Because distracting you was part of Master Yang's plan." Sensei Wu said approaching them. "And he had help." Morro added steeping around Sensei Wu.

"Morro!" Lloyd hissed as the Ninjas quickly ready themselves to battle the ghost.

"Do any other villains want to show up tonight!?" Jay cried out loud in frustration. "We've stopped five, um... Well, four. What's one more!?" Kai affirmed ready to strike Morro down at a moment's notice.

"No. Put away your weapons. He's here to help. Morro, tell them." Sensei Wu instructed all of his students past and present.

"Yang tricked Cole into helping him open a rift to return to Ninjago." Morro explained to the hostile Ninjas before him. "Cole!? How'd he trick you!?" Jay bemoaned his team for his poor choice. "Jay, Cole isn't here." Zane asserted looking around for said ghost.

"Are you sure? He's been fading a lot lately. He's kind of easy to miss." Jay replied before they all shouted at once. "We forgot Cole!"

"To the Bounty. They must be at the Temple of the Airjitzu Master." Sensei Wu orders his students. "Thank you, Morro." Sensei Wu said bowing to the ghost. "It's not over yet, I wish to speak with her before I decide to take my leave." Morro told Sensei Wu as he boarded the bounty. Sensei Wu raised an eyebrow but otherwise said nothing.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Just give up already." Yang screamed at Cole. "No! I'm keeping you here until the eclipse ends and the rift closes. Your evil will never return to Ninjago." Cole said as their weapons clashed again.

"What are you even fighting for? Your friends have abandoned you! Your Master has abandoned you! You are all alone!" Yang laughs at Cole while he easily destroys Cole's sword.

"No! Can't... Go on... Alone." Cole said out of breath and fading fast. "Yes. Yield. Soon I will be gone but you will remain forever Departed, destined to haunt this temple forever as the new Master of the Temple." Yang cackled away as though he was a madman.

"I'm...fading." Cole said watching as he began to fade from this realm. "Just one more lonely ghost. Not a friend in the world." Yang mocked Cole and began to cruelly laugh at him as Cole continued to fade away.

"So you're what has been causing these disturbances." (Y/N) growled at Yang causing the startled master to turn around and face the voice.

"(Y/N)?" Cole said surprised to see her. ".... And... Me!" Dareth shouted slightly out of breath trying to pull himself up onto the roof to join the others. (Y/N) rolled her eyes and grabbed Dareth by the back of his gi and pulled him up.

"What? Who's that?" Yang questioned sizing the pair up. "All right boys! Let them have it." Dareth shouted to the Stone Warriors. "For the Brown Ninja!" The Stone Warriors declared and started fighting Yang's possessed students.

(Y/N) got a good look at Yang. "Hm, Necromancy gone wrong." (Y/N) said out loud after examining Yang.

"Seeing as Ninjago robs me of my powers I'll have to go about this a different way, the Ninjago way." (Y/N) snorted out loud to herself and strolled over to the fading Cole.

"Looks like you'll have to do." (Y/N) stated with a sad sigh as she pulled Cole off the ground, turned his head slightly and said. "Kiss for luck." Before planting a kiss on Cole's cold cheek.

"Wooo Hooo!" Cole proclaimed as he stopped fading and gained a golden glow. Allowing this incredible power to flow through his arms into his fists Cole delivered an incredible punch into Yang.

"Whoa, I feel... different. Like, like, I can punch through... Anything!" Cole screamed at the top of his lungs and kicked Yang in the face.

"And I'm going to do what I came here to do, Yang." Cole declared stubbornly. The Master of Earth was going to see this through. Cole delivered another thunderous punch into Yang again.

The bounty arrives just in time to see the battle raging below. "We have to help." Kai shouted out desperately. "I can't bring it any closer. The wind is still too strong." Nya shouted back to her brother.

"Morro any chance you could do something?" Sensei Wu questioned his former pupil. "I'm using all my strength just to get us this close." Morro angerly grunted at him.

"And you're wrong! I'm not the one who's alone! You are!" Cole announced to the deranged Master. "No, I'm not! I have my family!" Yang replied pointing to his students who were still battling the stone warriors.

"No, you have prisoners! That's not family! That's captivity!" Cole said punching Yang causing Yang to drop the Yin blade Cole crushes it beneath his feet destroying the Yin Blade.

Freeing Yang's students though they remain ghosts. "No. No! You broke my spell!" Yang cried out in dismay at the loss of control.

"The rift! If you hurry, you can be free of this place forever!" Cole instructed the students. Despite the confusion and disorientation Yang's students quickly use Airjitzu and enter the rift. ridding themselves of their curse. The new cures free students loudly cheered as they became mortal again.

"The rift is almost closed." Sensei Wu said, glancing up at the moon. "Well, Dareth time to leave." (Y/N) instructed the brown Ninja, hosting him up over her shoulder before whistling for the Serpentine bike.

"What about Cole?" Dareth questioned over the howling wind. "It is between them now. There is nothing I can do." (Y/N) told him before leaping off the roof with him.

"My... My students... Leaving me... I...I failed." Yang bemoaned his students leaving him. "Yeah, you did." Cole said happily, rubbing it in Yang's face after what the ghost had put him through that night.

"I always fail." Yang claimed trying not to cry. "Yeah, you—Wait, what?" Cole said completely confused by what Yang had just said.

"I dedicated my life to studying the martial arts. Alone. I wanted to live forever." Yang affirmed sadly.

"Why!? No one lives forever." Cole responded completely baffled by what Yang had said. "Yeah, it's not as cool as it sounds." (Y/N) informs them from down below as she waited for Dareth to catch up. "Plus comes with a lot of side effects."

"Because I knew the day I was gone, no one would remember me." Yang pronounced, dejectedly. He looked as though he was about to cry. "All of this was so you wouldn't be forgotten!?" Cole gawked in disbelief at the ghost.

"What is he doing!? Is-is he talking to Yang!?" Jay said trying to get a good look at what was taking place on the battlefield below them.

"The rift cannot be opened again until the next Yin-Yang eclipse." Sensei Wu said as he gripped onto the closest thing he could find to stop himself from blowing away.

"Which, according to my calculations, won't happen for three thousand seven hundred twenty-one years." Zane calculated while Echo was clinging to him for support.

"Cole, the rift! You got to pass through the rift!" Kai reviled at Cole over the howling winds.

"You must think I'm a fool for having such a petty desire." Yang stated with a sad sniff.

"No, I get it. Believe me, I get it. I know what it's like to feel forgotten. Alone. It-it hurts. But Master Yang, you are already gonna be remembered forever." Cole responded with a smile on his face.

"Me? How?" Yang replied thinking Cole had gone mad. "You created Airjitzu." Cole announced showing off what he had learnt to Yang.

"Cole! It's now or never!" Jay desperately shouted to his teammate desperately hoping that Cole would make it in time.

"Now. Come on, there's still time to go through. Both of us." Cole said, holding out his hand to Yang.

"No, I'm afraid that's impossible. The curse of the temple requires that at least one ghost remained behind as Master of the House." Yang said woefully.

"One of us has to stay here?" Cole questioned. "It must be this way." Yang said sadly. "I was hoping to leave you in charge as Master of this house and of its students, seeing as you already knew martial arts and were already a ghost." Yang admitted lifting Cole up towards the eclipse.

"You would have been a fine Master." Yang complemented Cole. "Hey! What are you doing?" Cole demanded, struggling as Yang lifted him up. "Settling my debt." Yang said and let go, so Cole can make it through the rift.

The wind became stronger throwing the bounty violently around in the sky. "Brace yourselves! It's going to be a hard landing." Sensei Wu shouted as the ship landed with several hard thuds.

"Is everyone all right?" Sensei Wu called out to his students. "Nothing that tightening a few screws can't fix." Zane said as he pulled himself up. "That was fun." Echo said as he reattached his arm for a second time that night.

"I'm okay, but where's Cole?" Lloyd said looking around for his teammate. "Did he make it?" Kai questioned, hopeful that someone had seen Cole make it through. "Oh, no! He was too late. He's gone forever." Jay said in horrified realisation.

Cole jumps out from behind a boulder. "What did I miss?" Cole asked the Ninjas. "Cole!" All Ninjas shouted as they raced to embrace him.

"You're back!" Jay said marvelling at Cole's return to human form complete with a ghostly scar. "You're not a ghost anymore." Lloyd said, looking Cole over, doing his best not to startle Cole about his new scar. "You look good as new." Sensei Wu said with a smile.

"Speaking of good as new..." Kai says with a cheeky grin and pointing to the floating Temple of Airjitzu.

"The Temple of the Airjitzu Master has been returned to its original condition." Sensei Wu sighed at the sight of the temple floating in the air. "It's beautiful." Zane commented as he admired the floating temple.

"You know, that would be a pretty cool place for a Ninja to train." Cole hinted to the team. "And you're sure there are no more ghosts here?" Jay nervously questioned Cole. His eyes flicking over the place just to make sure.

Cole, knowing that Jay would never set foot in the place if there was even the hint of a ghost inside the temple after everything that had just happened replied. "Nope. No ghosts." Cole lied as he and Yang secretly wink at each other.

"Wait a minute!? Where's (Y/N)?" Cole asked, looking around for her. "Yeah, where is she? I want to know what her dragon did with Chen." Nya demanded and looked around for the girl.

"Morro has also gone." Sensei Wu explained having only now noticed Morro's sudden absence and Dareth's sudden appearance in the ghost's steed.

"He said something about needing to talk to her in private and got the feeling it was about that horrible tentacle lady." Dareth informed the Ninjas. "As for Chen beats me." Dareth shrugged unsure of what Nidhogg had done with the man.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Please put me down, Nice dragon." Chen pleaded with Nidhogg. Nidhogg just ignored him as he prepared to come in for a landing at a very familiar noodle shop.

Where someone was waiting outside. Nidhogg unleashed his claws and allowed Chen to fly smack into the front window.

"Father?" Skylor questioned getting a good look at the ghost that had hit the front window of her noodle shop. Skylor was in complete shock at first when she'd received a call from Ronin telling her to be on the lookout.

"Skylor?" Chen said as his daughter raced up to hug him. "Oh, daddy. It's so good to see you." Skylor said to her father as he held her in his arms. Skylor was doing her best not to burst out in tears.

"Awwww, Skylor." Chen said, giving his daughter a big hug. "So you want to catch up?" Skylor asked her father wiping away some stray tears running down her face.

Chen smiled and nodded at Skylor and proceded to follow his daughter inside the noodle shop to talk and catch up on his little girl's life.

Nidhogg roosted atop the noodle shop happily licking his claws clean, Chen's chair sitting beside him as father and daughter were happily reunited till the sun rose.

(Third Person P.O.V)

(Y/N) and Morro were sitting down together in front of the Ninjago city museum quietly talking to one another.

"So that's your plan?" Morro questioned and (Y/N) slowly nodded. "My people want retribution and they will have it one way or another this way only the guilty one will pay for their crimes." (Y/N) explained sadly.

"You honestly think you can take on the whole Elemental alliance?" Morro asked.

"Yes." (Y/N) confidently responded.

A shiver ran through Morro at the surety and confidence in (Y/N)'s response. The way that single word hung in the air seemed to speak of truth. Of experience.

Morro gave her a worried look. "But what if that person is dead then what do they want you to do?" Morro asked worried about what (Y/N) was being ordered to do. "Then their descendant will pay the price." (Y/N) admitted to the Master of Wind.

"But you don't even know which one did it." Morro pointed out to (Y/N). "That is why my people have allowed me to set foot in this realm once more. To hunt down the one responsible and make them pay." (Y/N) affirmed and let out a frustrated sigh.

"An eye for an eye, blood for blood. That is the price." (Y/N) stated looking up at the sky. "Is there no other way?" Morro asked quietly. "Not that I'm aware of." (Y/N) answered , still looking up at the sky.

"For what it's worth I'm sorry the Elemental Masters both past and present have hurt you." Morro apologised as he held her hand tightly in his. (Y/N) sighed and rested her head on Morro's shoulder.

Morro quietly chuckled nervously to himself as she did this. "I could stay like this forever." Morro squealed inside his mind.

"H-hey is it alright if we stay like this for a little while?" Morro asked (Y/N). "Sure Morro, Happy hollow-day of the Departed." (Y/N) replied wishing him a happy holiday.

"It's pronounced holiday." Lavaria informed (Y/N) on the correct human pronunciation of the word. "Oh, Lavaria." (Y/N) said as the Lava Monster strolled up to her. She was happy to see her.

Morro gawked at the creature made of lava walking towards them. "Morro, this silent warrior is the chief spy of Lava Monster army, Lavaria." (Y/N) said introducing the Lava Monster to the ghost.

"Greetings, I am Morro, Master of Wind." Morro said, giving Lavaria a polite nod. Lavaria chuckled at the spectral boy. "How nice to meet someone with proper manners." Lavaria commented to the ghost making Morro shy.

"My Queen." Lavaria politely interjected to (Y/N). "I have come to report that everything has been dealt with to a satisfactory conclusion." Lavaria reported to (Y/N). "Although it appears that some of the humans are quite upset that your concert was cut short and ask that you consider singing once more."

"I'll work something out, later." (Y/N) responded with a sigh, it had been a long night.

Morro turned to (Y/N) with a questioning look. "Why is she calling you Queen?" Morro cross-examined (Y/N).

"The one you call (Y/N) has been crowned our supreme leader. Our Queen for a lack of a better word." Lavaria informed the ghost that was sticking to (Y/N)'s side.

"I have Hela's old job." (Y/N) begrudgingly admitted to Morro. "Oh..." Morro responded unsure of what to say to that.

"He's met her." (Y/N) explained to Lavaria. "Ah." Lavaria said understanding what she meant by that. "I'am sorry for that." Lavaria responded to Morro upon hearing that.

"It's fine. At least I got to meet (Y/N) out of the deal." Morro chuckled to himself. "She's the best part of our world too." Lavaria admitted teasing the pair.

(Y/N) let out an annoyed huff and rolled her eyes while Morro did his best not to blush. Morro was so distracted that he didn't notice Sensei Wu approaching them.

Lavaria angrily hissed at the old man. "Begone Wizard! You are not welcome here!" Lavaria spat at Sensei Wu.

Sensei Wu wordlessly held out one of the two Day of the Departed lanterns he was holding out to Morro to prove his intent to the Lava Monster.

"It's all right Lavaria. He's only here to talk to me." Morro interrupted the spies' threatening hissing. Lavaria made one final threatening gesture to Sensei Wu before going to (Y/N)'s side.

Morro stepped forward to talk with his former Sensei. "Sensei." Morro said dryly facing the man. Sensei Wu held out a lantern to Morro. "Care to join me in the releasing of a lantern?" Sensei Wu offered his former pupil.

Morro nodded and accepted the lantern. With that the pair left together to talk in private before releasing their lanterns together.

(Y/N) waited for Morro to return on the steps of the Museum with Lavaria when Dr Saunders approached her. "Ah, pleased to be seeing you at this now." Dr Saunders said, adjusting his glasses.

"Oh yes, Museum human. Sorry about your stuff." (Y/N) apologised to Dr Saunders upon recognising the man.

"You are Anacondrai tribe, yes?" Dr Saunders questioned. "Look don't even think about sending any of the Serpentine a bill, if you want money go yell at the Ninja they caused this!" (Y/N) growled at the doctor. Lavaria letting a few warning hisses of her own.

"Oh, please no, misunderstandings me. We are all friends. Come, you'll see." Dr Saunders said trying to get (Y/N) to follow him inside the museum. Lavaria and (Y/N) shared a look.

"Come, come you see. New portraits from Serpentine wars." Dr Saunders promised, holding the door open for (Y/N) to follow him. This got both (Y/N)'s and Lavaria's attention.

"This could lead to the clues we need." Lavaria insisted to (Y/N). "I agree." (Y/N) responded and followed Dr Saunders inside.

"Not to be worrying about mess Ninja will clean, Yes." Dr Saunders told the girls as he leads them past the ruined areas of the museum. (Y/N) couldn't help but smirk at that comment.

Dr Saunders brought them to a few crates in a back room and gently pulled out some portraits from one of the crates for (Y/N) to look at one of which was of the great General Arcturus himself.

"Shame you and Pythor are last of tribe, yes?" Dr Saunders politely inquired as watched as (Y/N) admired the portrait. "Technically, Jormungand counts also." (Y/N) corrected the man before returning her attention to the portrait.

"Ah, yes big serpent. Perhaps Dr Saunders come see for research, yes please?" Dr Saunders asked hoping she'd permit him.

"There are giant signs up at our ancestral home that permits such things to my knowledge. Though thank you for being polite and asking." (Y/N) replied, thanking the strange human for asking permission first.

"Excellent. Dr Saunders very happy to see all serpent things." Dr Saunders said, pulling out another portrait for (Y/N) to see.

"Might I be presenting, General Arcturus' daughter. You look just like." Dr Saunders complemented showing off the portrait with a smile on his face.

(Y/N) stared at the portrait of Eris. This woman was indeed a stunning beauty almost ethereal in a way. It appeared as though she could glide right out of the portrait.

She had long silky dark hair covered by a straw hat with a thin translucent veil hanging off of it, stunning (E/C) eyes that put others to shame, gorgeous lips, her skin had a delicate almost goddess-like glow wrapped a splendid gown fit for a Queen.

"So this was Hela's creator?" (Y/N) said bitterly as she gave the portrait a once over. Doing her absolute best to remain calm. "You no like?" Dr Saunders asked very confused by the reaction (Y/N) was having to the portrait.

"It is a long and painful story, human." Lavaria hissed at the doctor causing the man to flinch away. "Do not pretend you understand our pain."

"It is fine, Lavaria." (Y/N) snapped at the Lava Monster. Sticking an arm out to prevent her from attacking the old man. Lavaria grumbled a little. Almost challenging her decision.

"Are you, or are you not here to ensure that I fulfil my mission to bring the Elemental Master that caused all this evil before you?" (Y/N) demanded, successfully getting Lavaria to back away from Dr Saunders.

Lavaria grunted a little more under her breath though relented and stepped away from the old man. "Apologies doctor. We are not good with human interactions." (Y/N) explained to the Doctor as she handed the portrait of Eris back.

"Ah yes, You come another time and tell Dr Saunders all about, for research?" Dr Saunders asked sweetly. "I assure you I will." (Y/N) nodded before leaving to catch up to Morro. Lavaria hot on her heels still cursing under her hot breath.

(Third Person P.O.V)

"Happy Day of the Departed." Sensei Wu announced as both he and Morro released the lanterns into the sky together. "Happy Day of the Departed, Sensei." Morro replied turning around to return to the museum and his pedestal to return to the Departed Realm.

Only to his surprise he found (Y/N) waiting for him outside the museum with a dragon, Chen and a girl he'd never seen before. Skylor kept thanking (Y/N) for sending Nidhogg to bring her father to her. While Lavaria was acting as a living barrier to protect (Y/N) from the ecstatic girl.

Morro let out a soft chuckle and stepped in to help (Y/N) and her spy. "It's good to see that you are thankful to her for the deeds she's done for you but remember she had a rather turbulent time these last few weeks." Morro pointed out to the Master of Amber.

Skylor nodded and stepped back allowing Lavaria to breathe a little easier. Lavaria studied the ghost for a moment before whispering to (Y/N). "I like this one. You should recruit this one."

(Y/N) made no reaction to the comment. Although Master Chen did. The sly trickster stepped forward a sickeningly sweet grin on his face. "What was that about recruitment?" Master Chen questioned with faux innocence.

"This one is a deceiver." Lavaria assessed after one glance at the ghost. "He may be of some use against the humans of our Realm." Lavaria added finishing her assessment of Master Chen. (Y/N) rolled her eyes at the thinly veiled request.

"I'll ask if that is what you want but I make no guarantee that they will agree or cooperate." (Y/N) relented to the spies' interests in bolstering their numbers.

"Lavaria thinks the pair of you would be worth recruiting into our ranks in Knighton." (Y/N) informs Morro and Chen after clearing her throat.

"But the spell that brought us here only lasts until the end of the night." Morro explained to (Y/N). Chen nodding sporadically behind him. "That shouldn't be a problem with our Queen being a necromancer." Lavaria spoke up.

Both Master Chen and Morro looked at one another before smiling and agreeing to what was offered.

"Um, excuse us?" A voice called out to (Y/N). The Queen of Monsters turned to greet a small crowd of humans and serpentine still dressed up in their Day of the Departed costumes.

"Any chance you'll finish up your set?" A kid dressed in a spacesuit asked. "Maybe we can see about that." (Y/N) said flashing the kid a smile and then proceded to climb back up on stage.
