(Third Person P.O.V)

__ Nexo Knights __

Everyone filed out of the room to tend to their own duties after dinner. One of them being the cleaning process of the entire tower, as well as the redesign of personal quarters.

(Y/N) had never had personal quarters before she usually just found the safest place to sleep until morning. But that was unsuitable now she was to be the Queen. And (Y/N) really wanted to get rid of Hela's torture room, a sentiment shared with every Sea Monster.

This was only the beginning of a long headache for the new anointed (Y/N). She had taken the name to ease some of the contentions between her fellow Monsters and their new allies the Serpentine. But a whole new set of problems were soon to follow along with it.

Visitation rights for the Serpentine, the alliance of both Sea Monsters and Forest Monsters, taking care of her new subjects, her coronation, outside opposition (Aka the human royalty, the Nexo Knights and Merlok, humans in general, any serving members of the wizard's council. etc.) Not to mention everything that was going on with Jestro, the Book of Monsters and the Lava Monsters.

(Y/N) let out a bitter sigh and rubbed her temples in frustration. That was a whole mess in of itself.

The rumour was that Jestro and the Book of Monsters were mind-controlling the Lava Monsters and it seems to be true to a certain extent at least. Not all that different from what the Queen of Darkness had been doing to the Sea Monsters.

However, The Queen of Darkness was dead and Sea Monsters had been victorious. Despite the demise of Hela, the Sea Monsters themselves were far from destroyed but were far from ok as well.

The death of the Queen of Darkness had had a very interesting effect on the outcomes of the battle that were beyond anything they could have predicted.

They had been launched into a very technological future where magic and technology had become entwined. Making this very one-sided should a battle with the humans break out. Even with the newly added numbers of the Forest Monsters in their ranks.

With the lack of a leader or a proper High Command, all of Monster kind were in grave danger. Without the protection of a unified front to scare away the humans and Jestro's forces from attacking them.

Hence, why the older Monsters had been trying desperately to find a way to restore order throughout the newly spread chaos.

The soon-to-be-Queen bit her lip. It was very clear: That without someone to lead and protect them, they would soon fall and be destroyed.

The solution is far less palatable. But the only other option would be an all-out power struggle to choose a new ruler and that would cause more death, more conflicts and end in their extinction.

Someone suggested at last that the new Queen be set on the throne, and soon. Because the humans would be all too happy to use the confusion to start as many small-scale conflicts to destroy them once and for all.

So a solution was reached, (Y/N) would be crowned Queen of Monsters and represent a unified front as they continued rebuilding their strength and gathering their wits in anticipation of the impending new campaign. Planning the next step of the war, for, as much as they wanted to think otherwise, the war was far from over.

The old Queen might be dead, but her legacy of fear was still strong... Strong enough to build upon at least.

Though there was still a lot that needed to be done for the coronation to take place within three days and traditions that needed to be followed. Traditions that sometimes took years that were now going to be condensed within the three-day time span.

(Y/N) let out another sigh and looked out a nearby window. Below oblivious to the drama the younger Monsters were still celebrating the news of a new Queen. The elation and happiness hadn't diminished in the lest.

(Y/N) rubbed her right arm, even under her jacket and hood she could still feel it humming away with magic. It made her think back to a moment in the past with the old Sea-Monster chef.

Chef Savage looked down at the tiny girl holding up her right arm to the Monster Chef. The old monster rubbed his temple before he gritted his teeth and pulled her onto his lap. "I'm not going to lie to you." He said patting her on the back with his spatula hand.

"You are different, (N/N)." Chef Savage sighed sadly. "You are two parts of two different races." Chef Savage explained to the small child.

"You are part monster; an ancient race of warriors and part human..." Chef Savage said the last part with an eir of caution. "And humans are hate-filled and spread evil." Chef Savage carefully informed her.

"And that's why other monsters don't like me?" She asked and the old monster nodded. "They're scared of you because of the evil that flows through your veins but that evil human blood gives you power and makes you a weapon." The old Sea-Monster explained to her.

"And that's why the humans try to kill me?" She questioned trying to understand everyone's animosity towards her. "Not just because of that." The Chef answered, smiling wearily and tapped her right arm.

A soft. "Oh..." Was her only response. "Yeah, sorry about that but nothing can be done about it." Chef Savage offered as he put her down. "Look, there's a lot more to it than that but I'll try to explain it as I understand it when you're older, ok?" A soft nod was his only response from her.

"But what is it?" (N/N) probed out of curiosity. "I believe it's called a birthmark but if you're asking about what it looks like It's a Dragon." The old monster explained to her.

"Like Nidhogg?" She asked and the salty chef nodded. "Yep, just like Nidhogg." As he stirred his broth. "Am I part Nidhogg?" She inquired after staring at her birthmark. Chef Savage snorted. "I doubt it." Chef Savage said returning his attention back to the food he was cooking. "Hela wanted a weapon she could control."

(Y/N) was brought out of her memories of the past by the heavy wooden doors being opened.

"Your Majesty, we have finished the announcements. Do you wish to read over them before you send them out." Siren of Seaguard asked politely as she was wheeled in by some Berry Globlins.

"Please, don't call me that." (Y/N) answered blushing slightly at the title. "Just call me (Y/N) for now, I'm getting used to one new title already." She exclaimed as one of the Berry Globlins rolled up to her and rubbed against her leg hoping for attention.

"But darling, you're a Queen now." The Siren of Seaguard objected. Her sharp eyes studying her with a certain warmth in their depth.

"It's fine, I'm just so not used to this." (Y/N) said waving the subject off with a small smile and a shrug of her shoulders before she scooped up the Berry Globlin and gently stroking them. The Berry Globlin let out a purr at being stroked.

"The coronation announcements." The Siren of Seaguard reiterated and laid one parchment down on the table for (Y/N) to read over before they were sent out. As per tradition.

(Y/N) was surprised by the numerous official titles and regnal names the Monsters and Serpentine had granted the use of. Although (Y/N) would be known simply as "The Queen of Monsters." By her loyal subjects, that was an oversimplified version of her full royal title.

Let it be known all throughout the realm that with the death of Hela, Queen of Darkness and by the will and grace of all monster kind; through the righteous slaying of her predecessor Hela, Queen of Darkness.

(Y/N), first of her name, The glory and pride of the Anacondrai Generals, Champion of the Serpentine (Anacondrai, Hypnobrai, Fangpyre, Constrictai, and Venomari), Great grand-daughter of General Arcturus, The rightful owner of the Lost City of Ouroboros, Supreme Commander of the Sea and Forest Monster alliance, Admiral for the Sea Monster Navy, Chosen warrior of the Forest Monster Forces, Weapon of the Most Ancient, Maiden of Shadows, Bringer of Pandemonium, Wielder of the Darkest Arts, Terror of the Alliances, Rightful Sovereign of all Monsters of the Realm and Defender of all Monster kind and Necromancer of the Highest calibre.

Shall be crowned Queen by the Ruling Council of the Monster alliance. As in accordance with tradition, the future Queen welcomes all challengers upon her accession to the throne. Which shall take place within three days time.

"Impressive bunch of titles." The Siren of Seaguard sniffed. "What do you think?"

"That they will most certainly try something before the coronation is scheduled to happen." (Y/N) said, sounding almost amused. "You are right but it is tradition. Should someone wish to challenge you for the right to rule, they have the right to do so in combat up until you are crowned in three days time." The Siren of Seaguard agreed but was mindful of that tidbit out.

"On the lighter side. There's a betting pool on which group will attack first." The Siren of Seaguard offered with a jovial tone. (Y/N) snickered to herself. Some things never change.

(Y/N) safely placed the Berry Gobblin on the ground and carefully rolled up the coronation announcements and prepared the fancy wax seal for each of the announcements. Tenderly blowing on the wax to cool it faster.

"The concordances have been confirmed?" (Y/N) asked as she tied each of the parchments to the arrow shafts of there own arrows. "Yes, they have been double-checked and the concordances are correct." The Siren of Seaguard said.

"Very well, I'll send them on there way." (Y/N) said and made her way over to a windowsill. She reached into her satchel and pulled out a bow.

She held the three arrows on her bowstring, pulling back with her might and uttered the spell.

"Let the path be clear and focus high,

So to have a timely flight,

Shaft of wood, move as shaft of light."

(Y/N) released the arrows which shot off as three beams of light into three separate directions.

Each blinding arrow found its mark. One striking the side of Jestro's evil mobile, startling the evil jester causing him to squeal in panic and hide behind his throne.

The second impaled itself into the king's throne of the Knighton castle startling King Halbert and causing him to hide behind Queen Halbert. "Message for you, sir!" Fancy Pants the personal squire bot for King and Queen Halbert said pulling the arrow out of the throne and presenting it to the Queen seeing as the King was hiding behind his wife.

The third and final arrow made its mark striking the side of the Fortrex. Narrowly missing Aaron who was zipping around on his hoverboard. Aaron scooted forward on his hoverboard and investigated the arrow. "Cool! Arrow Gram!" Aaron declared plucking the arrow out of the metal siding of the Fortrex and taking it inside to show everyone.

(Third Person P.O.V)

__ Nexo Knights __

General Magmar carefully broke the seal on the parchment just in case it was a trap and let out a sigh of relief that was not bobby trapped and unrolled the parchment for Jestro and The Book of Monsters to read.

"This is ridiculous!" The Book of Monsters hissed in outrage once he'd finished reading the scroll. "I will not be thwarted by some nobody popping out of nowhere! That brat... If I could get my pages on her! I would be the only ruler of monster kind!" The Book of Monsters raged, out of his mind with anger at that very moment.

"Um, I thought we were making me all-powerful." The evil jester replied, narrowing his eyes a little at the book. "Not now, Jestro!" The Book of Monsters ordered and narrowed his eyes slightly at the jester before returning his attention to the scroll. General Magmar also joining him in reading the parchment.

"This girl... Is she really that Hela lady's daughter?" General Magmar questioned the Book of Monsters. Although it was more of a statement than a question, backed with total uncertainty.

"She may be young and small, not of Hela's imposing stature. That's for sure." The Book of Monsters admitted, his cunning eyes still locked on the parchment. "But she is Hela's creation. Her scent... was unmistakable." He warned the Magma Monster.

"Maybe this won't be so bad?" Jestro offered in condolence to the pair. The Book of Monsters wisely decided not to comment on that particular point, least he ruins all his plains with his rage at the moment.

"I doubt the Nexo Knights are in her good books, so she'll probably sink the Realm into utter anarchy. And we could come swinging in and dethrone her after all the heavy lifting is done." Jestro said with a little smirk playing on his lips.

The Book of Monsters shifted slightly, soft rustling following the movement, and his dark eyes looked up at Jestro's. He hesitated just a moment before speaking what was on his mind. "Did-did you just come up with a really wicked idea all on your own?" The Book of Monsters questioned Jestro in complete and pure disbelief.

General Magmar silently continued reading the document as Jestro and the Book argued like an old married couple.

This was bound to be highly interesting.

(Third Person P.O.V)

__ Nexo Knights __

Queen Halbert opened the document carefully reading what was written on it. Fancy Pants dutifully standing by her side and her husband still hiding behind her. "Be careful, dear." The king whined to his wife.

Queen Halbert patted him softly on the head to calm his fears. "Fancy Pants, we need to alert the realm at once as well as the Nexo Knights." Queen Halbert ordered. The personal squire bot bowed to the Queen and set off to follow his Queens orders.

"My dear, what is this about?" King Halbert whined again. "It appears Jestro is no longer the only one with a monster army in the realm." Queen Halbert explained to her simpering husband. "Only this one claims to be royalty and the rightful ruler of all monsters and is calling out to anyone who dares challenge her claim as Queen."

"Monster Royalty!?" King Halbert bellowed with a gasp of disgust. Queen Halbert gripped her hammer under her blue dress.

Queen Halbert may present herself as the respectable Queen, but she used to be quite a warrior. She is quite capable of defending herself (and her husband) should the need arise.

(Third Person P.O.V)

__ Nexo Knights __

Aaron came zipping around the inside of the Fortrex on his hoverboard. Hollering at the top of his lungs about an Arrowgram.

When everyone was finally managed to get Aaron to slow down enough that they could take it from him to see what the archer was going about. They had already gathered in the Fortrex's control room so Merlok 2.0 could inspect the delivery.

Merlok 2.0 thoroughly inspected the scroll all though it did have some magical residue the message wasn't harmful in any way.

Zane was chosen to break the official-looking seal with great care. And Merlok was going to read it out to everyone. The tension in the room was thick enough to be cut by a blade as Zane unfurled the scroll for the digital wizard to read.

"Is there something wrong, Merlok?" Clay asked with a concerned tone in his voice at seeing the worried look on the old wizard's face.

"I... am not sure. Apparently, the Monsters are announcing your friend as their next Queen and the coronation is in three days." Merlok revealed although he sounded unsure of if it could be a good or a bad thing.

A combined "WHAT!?" was shouted by both the Nexo Knights and The Ninjas. Before both groups crowded around the announcement to read it for themselves.

"Wow, that's a lot of titles." Axl said leaning over the Ice Ninja's shoulder to get a better look at the parchment.

"Predecessor?" Kai said scratching the back of his head not understanding the word. "Well, she did create (Y/N) so..." Jay tried to explain to the dim Master of Fire.

"Hey! That means she was a princess like Macy!" Aaron blurted out insensitively. Macy made a very noticeable face at that remark. "Um, She's going to be a Queen now, Aaron." Axl stated completely missing Macy's expression.

Clay was more focused on the part about 'the righteous slaying of her predecessor Hela, Queen of Darkness.'

"So. She really did slay that evil Queen." Clay said out loud. "Yeah, that's how she wound up in Ninjago." The young Green Ninja told the blue Nexo Knight. "The sheer amount of magical power to do that is almost unbelievable." Merlok 2.0 gasped as he tried to do the calculations in his head.

"(Y/N) has a really strong will." Cole added to the conversation.

"Just imagine it. The fame, the ladies, the money..." *SMACK!* "Ouch! What was that for?!" Ronin complained, rubbing the back of his head. Dareth was laughing and saying something that sounded sarcastic under his breath.

"That's for being an idiot, Ronin!" Nya retorted, hands on her hips and glaring at him. "Try thinking about something else than money for once!"

Ronin grumbled, still rubbing his head. Nya packed quite a punch for someone behind in her ninja training.

"The glory and pride of the Anacondrai Generals, Champion of the Serpentine, Great grand-daughter of General Arcturus, The rightful owner of the Lost City of Ouroboros. It seems the Serpentine wasted no time making their claims." Sensei Wu said reading the part that interested him the most out to his young nephew.

"That part is going to come back and bite us in the rear." Jay announced with complete certainty. The Ninjas and their Sensei nodded in agreement and went back to going over the document.

"I'm concerned about this 'in accordance with tradition, the future Queen welcomes all challengers upon her accession to the throne.' thing." Dareth pointed out to everyone. "What does that actually mean? You know for us?"

"I don't quite remember." Merlok admitted, his memory files about that were far too glitchy to recall. "But my most educated guess would be that we and anyone else that received this notice is allowed to challenge her ascension to the throne but I'm not able to discern anything else at the moment."

"Don't sweat about it. Jestro and his forces are just going to make brick heads out of themselves and she's going to kill them." Lance said confidently with an air of smugness.

Clay hesitated just a moment before speaking what was on his mind. "Did-did you just come up with an idea all on your own?" The blue Nexo Knight questioned stuck-up Nexo Knight in complete and pure disbelief.
