(Third Person P.O.V)

 ___Nexo Knights___

"A dragon?!" Macy cried out in shock. Nidhogg revealed his teeth bared in a terrifying smile, his mouth partly open in a way that allowed his gigantic tongue to roll out.

It was... a very unsettling sight to see.

"Whoa!" Aaron shouted taking his eyes off the three girls. Nidhogg's form was a little more than terrifying, as it was nothing likes of the Nexo Knights had ever seen before.

The Nexo Knights looked up in collective horror at Nidhogg and his rider distracting the Nexo Knights long enough for Anger, Revenge and Destruction launch into attack.

"Easy ladies. We're Knights of the realm." Clay declared to the three advancing warriors with his team in their sights.

Aaron fired off energy bolts from his crossbow at the dragon and took off on his hover-shield.

"We'll go after that Hammerin later go after the green knight for now." Evil declared and signalled for Nidhogg to attack Aaron.

Cruelty charges in having gone previously unnoticed by the knights with her newly sharpening double-sided axe already drawn taking on Axl with a mighty swing.

Which sent the giant of a knight sideways through the air skidding across the ground as he did. Axl's yellow armour dented and his massive battleaxe was sent skidding off in another direction to the Knight.

"You corrupt Knights will suffer for the diabolical crimes you have committed against our people." Revenge howled as she lept into battle knocking Lance to the ground with her greatsword as she did.

Lance cried out in fear as his shiny armour was dirtied by the ground. "Crimes?" Clay questioned Macy only had time to shrug as an answer as Anger charged at her declaring to the Nexo Knights. "We will drive your diabolical and heinous prejudicious hearts out of our lands."

Clay charge at Destruction her impressive black and blue armour an unique horned helm was intimidating but Clay refused to give in to fear and fail the Knights code.

Cruelty raised her axe above her head ready to behead Lance. Lance let out a terrified scream just in time to alert Axl. Axl dragged himself off the ground with a growl and rams himself into Cruelty but does not get far from her.

"Nice axe." Axl growled at Cruelty. "I will use it to eradicate those who plague us with their depraved actions." Cruelty screamed at the giant of a knight.

Aaron continued to open fire with his crossbow at Nidhogg being a smaller target meant that Aaron had the advantage in the sky against the much larger Dragon.

As Revenge, Anger and Destruction each sized up Macy, Lance and Clay.

"Malignant tumour." Anger hissed as she sized Lance by the throat cutting off the air flow to the spoilt knight. This made it more difficult to form a coherent thought for Lance who was already incapable of proper coherent thought as it was.

Macy leapt at Revenge swiping at her with her mace. Revenge deflecting every bone-crushing slash with his shield her proudly displaying the symbol of Revenge.

"You vile cur!" Revenge screamed at Macy and spat on Macy's shield. "Ewww!" Macy cried out in disgust at the dirty behaviour. "How dare you show your face before us!" Revenge shouted in disgust at Macy for having the nerve to even face her.

"Your dishonourable and diabolical clan has brought enough death and hatred to all under our protection. I will see the last of your foul kind is snuffed out so we can finally have safety and peace." Revenge shouted into Macy's face.

"Hatred? Death?" Macy questioned herself in her mind. Not understanding what this person who was yelling at her about.

Though the look in Revenge's eyes was enough to bring fear into the red knight. The seething look of venom and a life full of hardship directed at her shock to her very core.

Destruction launched her spear at Aaron throwing him off his shield sending the boy falling to the earth below. Nidhogg let out a very satisfied and very chilling snarl as he did.

"Aaron!" Clay shouted out to his teammate as he swipes at Destruction with his Claymore sword. Although she was able to easily avoid his attacks.

Aaron was dazed but unhurt, quickly rolling away and taking cover behind some rocks as he fires several more shots at Nidhogg.

Revenge knocked Macy into the air with a strong kick to the stomach and then slammed her into the ground. A low rumbling laugh emitted from Revenge, vindictive glee in her eyes.

A flash of pure fear rose within Macy causing Macy to grip her shield and screamed. "Merlok! Nexo Power!"

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Aboard the Fortrex Ava is furiously typing away on her keyboard trying to pull images of the Nexo Knights up on her screen but the signal was being interfered with.

Though Merlok was able to hear Macy's terrified call. "Get ready for Nexo Scan!" Merlok 2.0 declared and sent them a digitised spell for the Nexo Knights to download.

"What's going on?" Cole demanded as the Ninjas gathered in the control room to see what was going on.

"The Knights have run into trouble and Magic man here is sending them some help." Ava explained to Ninjas as the huddled around Ava to see what she was doing.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Evil watched as these Knights absorbed the golden light of Merlok's spell into their weapons and armour in an effort to defeat them.

Anger dropped Lance retreating to a safe distance so she wasn't caught in the crossfire of the spell.

"You honestly think you can take on a whole team of Knights?" Clay demanded as the Nexo Power caused through him and his team. As the Knights regrouped and made a semi-circle.

Revenge's eyes narrowed and pointed her blade at Clay. "Yes." Revenge answered honesty to the knight before her.

A shiver ran through the Nexo Knights at the surety and confidence in their opponent's words. The way the words hung in the air seemed to speak of truth. Of experience.

"A Magical power up? Two can play at that game." Evil declared seethed with rage and began to sing her spell directed at those below her.

Nidhogg's lips peeled back in a vicious snarl. That was when things started to go to hell and not at all in the Knights favour.

"If you want to take our freedom,

Then you'll want a piece of this,

You're not going to hear me speaking,

I'd rather just use my fists,

Now give me a single reason,

Why I should let you live!?"

Macy let out a vicious snarl at Revenge and launch into an attack against Revenge in an effort to get the better of her. But Revenge used a burst of strength to force Macy back with a kick to the face.

"How long have I been sleeping?

And what kind of dream is this?

Somebody went off the deep end,

Now I've got new ass to kick!

I've wasted my nights asleep when,

I should've killed you to begin,

If you'd listened at first,

There would be no curse upon you that never forgives!"

Axl charged at Revenge to protect Macy from Revenge's wrath only for Cruelty to intercept him her axe.

Her axe made a sickening crunch against Axl's armour as it made contact with Axl the force of this impact knocking him down.

Axl actually spat out some blood from the blow his amour had saved him from being chopped in two but had stopped the force of the blow.

"I know the human you are, I know your every lie,

Because I can see it all when I'm up in the sky,

I take a leap of faith and then the Dragons cry,

I am the lonely blade who cuts you down in the night,

The Earth shakes when I roar, I'll make it heard,

If I can't free this land, I'll see it overturned,

You think I'm just a girl who won't put up a fight,

I'm going to make you believe before the day that you die!"

Aaron reclaiming his shield only to discover it was too damaged to function as a hoverboard anymore and was forced to march into battle firing off a stream of energy arrows from his crossbow at Revenge.

Revenge backflips and side rolls to dodge several of the incoming shots. Upon righting herself, Revenge then leaps atop of Aaron and strikes at him multiple times, causing him to recoil and stumble.

This gives Revenge an opening to hit him in the face repeatedly, landing seven punches knocking him out. Though she doesn't stop and continued laying into him.

"I walk among the monsters,

Leader of the pack, Loyal to my cause,

And keep the knives out of their backs,

To all my fallen kin; I will avenge the past,

We were the first to bleed, but we won't be the last!"

Macy pushes herself to her feet, her eye ablaze with rage. Lance joins her in double teaming Revenge.

Only to be intercepted by Destruction who manages to stand between them to protect her partner from the impending assault from the two knights.

"Lock all your doors and draw your curtains,

Knights hiding behind of their perches,

What is a Royal if their crown is worthless?

If they end up dead they deserved it,

Chasing a shadow, how's that been working?

Can't catch a shadow, you oughta learn it,

Hidden beneath my hood's a purpose,

First things first, get off my turf bitch!"

As the Knights split to opposing sides, with Destruction focusing her attack on Lance, they begin their counterattack with Lance dodging while Macy takes a swipe at Destruction from behind.

Ducking to avoid Macy's strike at the last second, Destruction turns and throws an elbow at Macy, only to have Macy jump to avoid it.

"I think it's best if you get off my land,

I'm coming at you with a rusty tomahawk in hand,I

'm leaving a path of bloody disaster,

Now, do you understand?

I'll come for the crown,

I'm going to bring down the humans!"

Clay is engaged with Anger in a one-on-one, helpless to do anything to protect his teammates.

"I know the human you are, I know your every lie,

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Back at the Fortrex Ava was still furiously typing away on the keyboard trying clear up the signal.

"Can you clear that up a bit." Jay pleaded with Ava. Causing Ava to roll her eyes and reply sarcastically to the blue ninja. "Oh gee why didn't I think of that?" Finishing with giving Jay a nasty look.

"Ava now is not the time." Merlok scolded Ava for her sarcasm. Ava just rolled her eyes at Merlok as well and went back to clearing up the signal any way she could.

Then Ava finally managed to receive something a few bits of audio from the battlefield: "If you'd listened at first, There would be no curse upon you that never forgives!"

Lloyd wasn't sure what he felt but he knew he was numb all over. His heart constricting painfully until he was breathless.

"That's (Y/N)'s voice!" Cole said after hearing the voice coming through the speakers.

"Are you sure?" Kai questioned him not completely sure what they'd just heard. "I'm positive. That her." Cole replied completely admit over what he'd just heard.

Merlok had a fraction of a moment when he finally realised what that voice really was singing about. There was no doubting what it really was.

"A trap! An ambush! An incantation! A spell!" Merlok screamed in hysterical realisation.

"What are you squawking about?" Ava questioned the digital wizard. "Retreat! Get them out of there!" Merlok continued to yell orders to leave the battleground.

"I CAN'T REACH THEM!" Ava screamed as the audio went dead. Wasting no time the Ninjas went out the front gate of the Fortex, summoning their elemental dragons and on their way to save the Nexo Knights.

(Third Person P.O.V)

___Nexo Knights___

Lance was down for the count face down and unresponsive and Macy wasn't going to last much longer.

Poor Clay was doing his best to protect his team a fight off these unrelenting foes before them.

Axl lies stunned on the floor unable to move from the paralysing blow he'd received from Cruelty. Who was enjoying the show off to the side just waiting for her next opportunity.

Revenge was still pounding Aaron into the ground despite the boy being unconscious. "Nobody ever said Revenge knew when to stop." Evil chuckled to Nidhogg who grinned at her words.

Destruction seemed intent on finishing off the last two remaining Knights herself.

Macy quickly closes in on Destruction and delivers a couple of swipes with her Proto-mace that Destruction defends herself against, only to have Clay follow up with a series of slashes with his claymore while Destruction is off-balanced.

It didn't work. Destruction easily blocked each attack with her spear. The only thing that changed was that Macy attacks only became weaker. And soon Clay would be left on his own to fight Destruction.

Macy swoops in with a downwards swipe with her mace while Clay sweeps at Destruction's right leg in hopes of stricking a blow.

Destruction quickly changes her footing, and lands a hard right punch onto Macy's face, knocking her down.

While Macy lies stunned on the floor Destruction confronts Clay. Destruction quickly overwhelms him with a series of punches to the side and gut blasting Clay off his feet.

All looked lost till some of fired a bolt of lightning at Destruction from above. Those who can look up to see five Elemental Dragons and their colour co-ordinated riders.

The current fight endding and another beginning.
