Ash's POV

"The Champion is now down to his four pokemon!  Will he make a comeback?!" Professor Sycamore yelled through the microphone, the voice echoed throughout the arena, the crowds were were cheering and yelling Calem's name as well as mine.

Calem gritted his teeth in annoyance, much to my happiness, oh.

He tossed his next pokeball to use, it opened and then revealed a Talonflame, it is pretty well raised, I have to admit. The feather's are magestic, shining orange and red. That'll make the battle more interesting and fun. A tag appeared after.

'Talonflame - Lv.70'

"Lycanroc, return for now, I want to give our other team a chance." I said to my Lycanroc, he barked happily and I returned him back to his pokeball.

"Sceptile, I choose you!" I yelled as I tossed the pokeball of my next choice. Sceptile went out and then tiptoed magestically, before doing battle stance. The keystone on his scarf by his neck shone brightly. Then a tag appeared.

'Sceptile - Lv. 89'

"Battle begin!"

"Hah! You let out a pokemon who is two times weak to fire type! You're pretty idiot for a trainer!" Calem yelled with smug on his face, although I kept my cool.

"How about you battle instead of blabbering about things." I replied with a cool smile, much to his annoyance.

"Tch, Talonflame, this will be an easy victory, start off with Flame Charge!" Calem commanded, does he really do this? Underestimating trainers?

"Hold him." I coldly replied, he'll get what he should deserve to get.

Flame Charge was heading towards Sceptile, but Sceptile didn't move an inch, and when Talonflame was about to hit Sceptile, he calmly blocked it by holding Talonflame's beak. The crowd gasped in surprise.

"Throw it." I coldly said.

Much to Calem's shock and disbelief, as well as the audience, after Sceptile got a hold of its beak, he threw it above the battlefield, Talonflame didn't got the balance due to the unequal wind passing through it's wings.

"Leaf Blade." I concluded.

He made a speedy jump towards the outbalanced Talonflame and slashed it with Leaf Blade, Talonflame was pushed to the ground, but didn't end up fainting, it got up and then regained balance.

"Hows that for an evil trainer act?" I giggled and then returned towards my usual self, I'm not really suitable for that kind of trainer, I sweatdropped and then laughes awkwardly.

On the stands

"Seriously?" May asked with disbelief. She facepalmed.

"I knew it, Ash isn't like that, but the way he battle is remarkable." Gary said.

"Is he like that sometimes?" Dawn asked.

"Not really, well I don't know, did we travel together?" Gary replied. Dawn just shrugged and rolled her eyes.

"But he's really strong, I have to admit." Brock said.

On the stage

"Since when does Ash act?" Sophocles asked to no one.

"It's first time I see him like that, although I got nervous a little there." Lana said.

"Likewise Lana." Mallow seconded.

"We don't like Ash acting like that do we?" Kiawe asked and chuckled.

"I'm used to what he is right now, and I can't let him change, not a chance." Lillie said and smiled.

The others snickered, then Lillie realized what she said and then covered her face, preventing the blush to be seen.

Calem's POV

'He's incredibly strong.' I thought, I got angry at the fact that he acted infront of me, this is humilation.

"Talonflame, can you go on?" I asked my fire bird pokemon, it nodded, and I sighed.

"Well, for a Champion like you, I'm surprised you treated your pokemon very well." A voice said at the other side, I eyed the other trainer, Ash, who seems really strong and in fact, very strong.

"Of course, a Champion always checks on his Pokemon whether it can still battle or not." I replied, surprisingly, my anger subsided and was replaced with calmness, I don't know how.

And I admit this is my first time being calm at someone, I admit I did wrong at the past trainers who tried to get my title, but now, I feel like I can pass my title to him with no worries.

If someone challenge the Champion of the school, it'll be automatically turn into an official battle, and it is a risk not to take all of your pokemon with you, maybe there will be a surprise battle.

"Then you're much suitable for your title." He said, and that surprised me.

"But you do know that when you defeat me, you'll get the title." I reassured him.

"That is if you want to stay on your title, besides, I don't want to take your title anyway, I don't feel like it." He scratched his head, I mentally fell down and face palmed, but I let my face into serious mode.

"Let the battle go on, Talonflame, Flamethrower for now!" I commanded him.

"Spin and dive towards Flamethrower." He calmly commanded, much to my surprise. As Talonflame released a stream of flames, Sceptile charged in and went out infront of Talonflame.

"Leaf Blade to end it." He commanded.

"Quick, Steel Wing! Guard yourself!" I quickly commanded.

As Sceptile was about to hit Talonflame with Leaf Blade, it was an inch in distance when Talonflame managed to defend himself with Steel Wing, though he hit the ground but managed to fly up.

"Fire Blast!" I yelled.

"Frenzy Plant, cover yourself." He commanded, still in a calm manner.

As Fire Blast is about to hit Sceptile, Sceptile punched the ground and roots came out and quickly covered Sceptile in leaves, stems and roots.

"Now! Dive with Flame Charge!" I confidently yelled, as soon as I know it is trapped in the Frenzy Plant.

Talonflame quickly got the momentum and dived towards the Frenzy Plant, it sliced the roots and soon, smoke was created, Talonflame went back in front of me.

"Good job Talonflame." I praised him.

"I think the battle is---"

"Sky Uppercut." He said suddenly, interrupting me, much to my surprise and curiousness.

My eyes widened as the ground below Talonflamed crumbled and then opened up, I didn't have the chance to command him and it didn't also have the time to fly up, Sceptile appeared below Talonflame and punched it below its face. Soon it was unconscious.

"Talonflame is unable to battle! Sceptile wins!" Professor Sycamore yelled, and cheers once again roared.

"Return Talonflame, you did a good job." I said as I returned Talonflame, there is really no way I can defeat him in this battle, I shouldn't have underestimated Alolan trainers, now they are really powerful, in front of me is a living proof.

"I'm not going to concede defeat yet, go Metagross!"

Location : Hall of Origin

Arceus' POV

'Now now, settle down everyone.' I ordered as I see everyone murmuring about what is on the top of their heads.

'All of those things above your head just indicates who you are and what level you are now, nothing special.' I reassured them, the other legendaries calmed down and nodded.

I looked at their tags, all level one hundred, some of them are higher, just like Giratina's, he's level 110, I don't really know why but I didn't bothered asking.

'Now all of you are gathered in this hall because I have a special announcement.'

'I think it's time for you all to have your rightful and responsible trainer.' I concluded.

Almost all of them gasped at the sudden order from, me, but I just nodded at theme.

'Wha--- Why? You know almost all of them are evil! They are hungry for power!' Palkia replied in annoyance, the other legendaries agreed, well, not all of them.

'You said almost, so there are still trainers who are pure hearted and still treated pokemons as friends and family.' I replied back, that made Palkia go silent

'But you can't do this Arceus!' Darkrai suddenly said.

'Yes I will Darkrai, besides, I may know a trainer who I think will be responsible on having you legendaries.'  I said to them with a smile, that made them go dead silent and looked at me with curiosity.

'I've looked on this boy for years, and he never cease to amaze me, and I think it is also time for you and him to meet, again.'  I said to them, smirking.

That got them think for a minute and then, surprisingly, all of them stood up and their voices rang through my ears.

'You mean 'him'?!"
