celestial haven.
Cyrielle Wyn Zamora x Donato Kier Jimenez
EXTENDED SYNOPSIS
︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵
Life is a fortuitous event and the next chapter of our lives is blurry, just like Cyrielle, who starts to feel the pressure and weight of the world on her shoulder as she realizes she's no longer happy with her chosen career. As an only child, being the first and last card of the family is hard on her part; everything she does must succeed; she can't afford to fail because if she fails, she will be a big disgrace in her bloodline.
Cyrielle Zamora, a woman who has a dilemma in practicality over her passion as she faces the reality in her mid-twenties, has to make a choice that can alter her future and life for as long as she is breathing as she juggles in the world of practicality, pressure and expectation from her family and relatives and the trauma her now ex-boyfriend, Zachary, left that constantly ruin her inner peace, and the high standards she sets for herself made her anxious that focusing is hard for her, and life becomes so messy and chaotic that even breathing is toxic for her lungs.
With the chaotic and unheavy breathing and the tears pouring every night with a sprinkle of fresh breakup and a career crisis, Cyrielle finds herself in the restaurant, ordering the same menu in the same spot every eight o'clock in the evening as the celestial sky connects her to her comfort, her best friend, and, ironically, the owner of the restaurant, Donato.
Donato Jimenez has always had a concrete plan in his life; he seems to know how to navigate life with all his charm, wits, and dedication. Everyone said he has everything in life except for a girlfriend, but his heart never really beats for anyone; at least that's what being in denial is all about.
Donato and Cyrielle have been each other's solace since they were kids and people around them bet they'll end up together, but in their eyes, they are only best friends who will always be there for each other. They were each other's safe place and breaking them apart is impossible; they were outrageously inseparable together.
As they reached their mid-twenties, life began to add to their pressure when society began to ask when they would settle down, making them feel they were running out of time and that they'd never find someone to be with; that's where a plan started—setting each other up on a date for a year. If everything goes well, then everyone gets a happy ending, and if they fail, they will forever be alone in the restaurant, or so they thought.
And as life began to move, hidden feelings, emotions, and thoughts, as well as a forgotten pact from when they were kids, began to come to light, endangering the friendship they had built for years. With three paths on their way, two of which are for them to take separately and one where they can take together, they must choose which path for them to take, or they will let the comfort they had for each other be written in the celestial forever, one where they can always look far but never stand close to each other.

REMINDERS:
𓇻 This story is not entirely focused on 'romance,' but rather on career-crisis, love life crises, and life in general. There will be romance, though, but don't expect it in the first few chapters. It will get there but this book is somewhat leaning more on literary fiction than romance in general. I wanted to try some genre as I've been writing romance for so long and wanted to try literary (like Emily Henry's book), though I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but its actually alright <3
𓇻 As I grow older, I suppose I'm more drawn to stories involving with life choices and experiences, with a romance 'subplot,' rather than pure romance novels. I found myself loving Emily Henry's novel since it is character-driven and focuses on the characters' choices and experiences in life rather than on romance. Hence, I wrote this book to portray that way about life and love.
𓇻 This story would include profanity.
