Hanging out in bars normally wasn't your thing, but your friend had insisted that you tag along with them.

However, it didn't take long for them to get drunk and ditch you. You were annoyed, but it was pretty like them to do something like this. They'd come back soon enough...Hopefully.

You sat at the bar, drinking silently. After a while, you heard somebody slide onto the stool next to you. You looked over and froze.

"I'll have my usual." The man spoke, before he turned to you with what had to be the most charming smile you'd ever seen. "Do I have something on my face?"

You had only been dating Khons for a few weeks now, and you could already tell you were falling pretty hard. You felt a bit crazy, but you could already see yourself spending the rest of your life with him.

However, you could tell that Khons didn't quite feel the same. Though you didn't notice the timing, the closer the new moon got the more distant Khons started to act. You didn't know what you were doing wrong, and he kept telling you that you weren't doing anything and that you shouldn't worry about it.

But of course you worried. It wasn't your first relationship after all. You knew that this kind of behavior would only lead to a break up, and you didn't want that. You knew it wasn't normally worth it to get so upset over a relationship that had barely started, but you really felt like you were meant to be with Khons.

But, you didn't know what to do.
That is, until you were alone in a bar and a girl slid into the booth you were hiding out in.

"So, you're worried about Khons breaking up with you, huh?" She spoke, playing with her long black hair. You opened your mouth to reply, wanting to know how she knew that, or who she even was for that matter, but she put up her hand and continued. "I've known Khons for a long time, I know his pattern. He'll break up with you before the new moon hits...Unless you do what I say." At that, she paused, giving you an expectant look.

You had only meant for it to be a one night stand. You were going to have a good time with the guy (and trust me, you did) to get over your break up and then never talk to him again. Once the deed was done and he'd gone to sleep, you slipped out of his arms, and out of his home as quickly and quietly as you could.

And that was supposed to be the end of it. However, over the next few weeks, you felt ill in the mornings. You had no idea what was going on, until you went to the doctor and found out something shocking.
