The sun was high up in the sky, indicating that it was noon.

TaiFeng was shifting in her sleep, waking up when she heard the sound of people outside.

'Did I oversleep? I never oversleep.... I never sleep in general.' She thought, rubbing her forehead.

"Wen Qing." She said, remembering last night's events.

"What time is it?" She said, looking at her wrist.

"... Right, no watch.... my precious Gucci watch." She sniffed.

"It was the only name brand thing I ever owned. Gone forever."

Getting up she heard the sound of people outside, and went to check it out.

Cracking open her study door, she peered outside into the courtyard.

She could see disciples darting around everywhere carrying things along with people on ladders with toolkits fixing roof tiles. There was movement everywhere she looked.

Taking her sword and stepping out she went towards some Wen Ning, who was helping someone carry some books.

"Wen Ning, what's going on? Why is everyone running around like headless chickens?" She asked.

"Ah, Sect Leader Qian. Um, well, my Jie felt bad about, uh, k-knocking you out. And, w-well, everyone wanted to repay your kindness from yesterday, so we thought we, um, we thought we c-could help out around the sect." Wen Ning stuttered.

"W-we already organized the, um, library a-and took care of cleaning the stables, now we, um, j-just need horses."

"Did you guys really do all this in one afternoon?" She asked, gobsmacked at all the progress they made.

She thought that it would be months before the library and stables were finished.
Everything looked better, even the air smelt better than before.

"Yep. Also, Jie and Uncle Six went foraging for herbs in that, um, pretty place a-at the back of t-the sect." He said.

"Pretty place at the back?"
She questioned.

"Mn, Uncle Six said there were a-alot of herbs, in, um ,in that p-place with the wisteria trees."

".....SHIT!"
She screamed.
"When did they leave?!"

"T-twenty minutes ago." He answered.

Without even explaining herself she hopped on her sword and flew to the north side of the sect.

'Crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap crap.'

Darting through the trees at a godlike speed, she heard a yell.

Flying down she saw Uncle Six with a bleeding arm and Wen Qing drawing her sword in defence.

Cornering them was a thirty foot long, enormous bright blue viper, baring its fangs and hissing at them.

"Qingshui, don't! Their not enemies, stand down." She shouted, going towards the snake.

Qingshui means clear water.

"What do you mean their not? This woman has a sword! Once she saw me she tried to attack, that man even threw rocks at me." The snake said, moving it's head from side to side.

"You said if anyone wearing red robes tries to sneak in I should bring you their heads."

"Okay, I know I said that, but I'm retracting my statement. This one is cool." She said, throwing a hand back towards Wen Qing.

"Oh, and her brother Wen Ning is alright. Oh, and Uncle Six, and Granny Wen. Actually there's quite a lot of Wens that aren't all bad."

"You ...can talk to snakes?" Wen Qing said, sheathing her sword and easing up a bit.

"I can talk to all animals."
She replied.
"Qingshui is the guardian spirit of Ziyu forest. It's her job to protect the sect and all who live here. She only attacked because I gave her orders to be on high alert around any Wens."

"Um, could you tell that guy on the floor that I'm sorry I bit him." QingShui said, feeling rather embarrassed about what she did.

"She also says she's really sorry about biting you, and she apologizes."
TaiFeng said, going over to help the poor man off the ground.

"Well, as long as it's sorry, I suppose there's no problem. It's just a flesh wound, it should be fine." Uncle Six said, dusting himself off.

"I'll try and assess the situation better next time." QingShui said.

"If anything its my fault for not warning them beforehand." TaiFeng said.

"We should probably get back and treat this wound."

"Jie! Is Uncle Six okay? W-what happened?" Wen Ning said, running towards the trio.

"Nothing major happened, I'm fine don't worry." Uncle Six said.

"Turns out the place we went foraging for herbs is called Ziyu forest. We had trespassed on the forest guardians land. Luckily Sect Leader Qian had saved us and explained everything to the guardian."

"There was a g-guardian?" Wen Ning questioned.

"It was a huge viper elemental! With shining blue scales and sharp fangs, it was the size of a mountain." He chuckled seeing Wen Nings scared face.

"But enough of that, I'll tell you about it some other time. Right now I need to go and treat this wound."

TaiFeng spent the rest of the day in her study making signs to put on the outskirts of the forest.

She had made five large wooden signs that had the words
"Trespassers will most likely be eaten alive. Enter at your own risk.'' drawn on them in big bold writing.

She had also written letters to Cloud Resseses, telling everyone about her day and how much she was missing them all.

Setting the signs aside, she went though one of her drawers she pulled out a stack of large sheets of different coloured paper.

From a wooden box she took out several jars of brightly coloured ink that she had made from numerous flowers from the garden.

Getting to work she started cutting the paper into suitable sizes and started drawing talismans.

After five long hours she ended up with one hundred and twenty talismans of different colours.

She had made sure that they were drawn perfectly. She has even gone as far as to put silver dust in the ink to give it a sparkle. They were imacculate.

The options were fuchsia with silver writing, light pink with yellow writing, navy blue with gold writing, violet with white writing and red with dark green writing.

She had also layered a coat of waterproof paint on them, courtesy of Yan ZiMing.

And the best part, she had carefully embossed the Qian Sect Emblem on the bottom right corner of each talisman.

Yep, that's right, she had just made luxury, high-end name-brand talismans.

"I just made a brand name! Soon enough everyone going to be using these!" She leaned back with her hands behind her head, smug expression plastered on her face.

"Now all I have to do is make them double the price of normal talismans and I'll be richer than that manwhore any day now."

Although that sounded rather corrupt of her, doubling the price was actually pretty reasonable.

She didn't just mix flowers and silver into the ink. She had also crushed a few spiritual gems into the mix.

She had bought them from ZiMing. He said that he found them inside an ancient cave, and this time he was telling the truth.

They were loaded with spiritual energy, she only needed just a pinch of gem dust to be added into the mix.

Although that may not seem like a lot, in terms of talisman making it was more than enough.

Her talismans were better faster and stronger than normal ones.

She made sure that they weren't just nice looking, but that they were of high quality as well.

It was a good thing she bought a truckload of the stuff off of ZiMing and that she only required a pinch of dust per jar.

In other terms this was an amazing way to make money, and contribute to the cultivation world.

She intended on teaching Uncle Six and the others on how to make and soon enough she'd have a production line!

She had been doing a lot of thinking and she came to the conclusion that if she made a big impact in the cultivation world, the outcome of the war would change drastically. The bigger the impact the more drastic the outcome.

Who knows? She might even become Chief Cultivator after Wen Rouhan is slain.

Not that she would want the extra responsibilities that came with it

There were only two months left until the indoctrination. Everything was falling into place, and she had a spy in Wen Rouhans midst and he didn't even know it.

There was really just two things to take care of. The Xuanwu and The Yin Iron.

Getting rid of the Xuanwu was easy, it was winning against the Yin Iron. As much as she hated to admit it Wen Rouhan was powerful.

The only reason the Sunshot Campain succeeded was because of Wei Yings demonic cultivation. But in order for him to become a demonic cultivator, Lotus Pier would have to fall, Jiang Cheng would have to lose his golden core, Wei Ying would have to go through the core transplant and Wen Chao would have to throw him into the Burial Mounds.

But she was NOT going to let Lotus Pier fall.

She was NOT going to let Jiang Cheng lose his core.

She was NOT going to let Wei Ying go through with the core transplant.

And she was NOT going to let Wen Chao yeet Wei Ying into the Burial Mounds.

'Destiny can take it's plan for the future and shove it up its ass.' She thought, proudly manspreading in her seat.

'I. Will. Change. Things.'
