"Is this everything?" I asked out of breathe from carrying boxes back and forth. A week ago I only had maybe two suitcases worth of stuff I owned, and now. Well I have about seven massive boxes worth of stuff I owned.

Loretta went a little crazy buy and making belongings for us. She wanted to give us the world. She was also helping me out with Zane, well more precisely what I was going to do around Zane. How to act around him and how to keep myself in line around him. I haven't seen him since the day we meet, Loretta thought it would do us good to have some space between us. A bond, even just a possible bond could lead us both into doing something we will regret.

"Yes! It's everything." Lucas called back. He had changed the way he was acting back to the Lucas I knew the carefree one and not the 'I will bite your head off' one he was when we first came here a week ago.

Today we were moving into Lucas' family home because Natalie decided it was too cramped in Loretta's house. I thought it was cosy and filled with love, but each to there own I guess.

I was planning on staying with Loretta, or grandma Lo as she keeps yelling at me to call her. Lucas wasn't a fan on that idea, he wanted to keep me close to him or as he said 'I have already lost one sister I am not letting my other one out of my sight.'

Natalie had some other thoughts she wanted it just to be the two of them. Lucas and her had a heated discussion and well here I am moving into this house with them.

Andrew was helping us today. He was carrying boxes back and forth with me from the small cosy cabin that was Loretta's to this place. I only had one word for it.

Grand.

This was one grand home, reminding me a lot of my old house. The exterior of it was grey stone with white French doors, it was those ones with the stained glass in the centre of each door so you can see out. All of the counter tops in this house were marble finishes. Cream cupboard's to go along with the cream walls with a lightwood for the floor. Every room looked the same, but it was that way so that you could make it your own space.

The one thing I adored about the house was the massive diamond chandelier. This was the type of house I expected the Alpha family to have, not the beta family.

Lucas said that his dad started building this house when he was 16, his dad apparently wanted his mate to feel as though she was living in a castle. He wanted to treat his mate like a fairy-tale princess. He said his mother didn't care about the house, and if she was anything like Devin, I can see her wanting a simple home just like Loretta's, but she loved the effort his dad put into the home.

Apparently he worked and spent all of his money on this house, never buying anything for himself and always crafting things. He craved all of the finishing's in the house and made all of the tables and chairs.

The house had four bedrooms and even a little house off of the house, which Lucas was going to move into when he got a little older when all of his family were still here for 'privacy and shit' as he put it. Lucas was placing himself in his old room, feeling comfort there. That and he didn't feel right being in his parents' room.

Yet.

I was staying in the one bedroom on the ground floor, I didn't want to be in a room near them, I don't want nor to I need to hear the things they will be getting up to.

They still haven't marked each other yet and I think that it is starting to get to Natalie. She clings to him she can't have him out of her sights for more then five minutes without freaking out. I expect that it will happen soon now that we are getting settled in.

This was thankfully our last trip from Loretta's to the new house, well old house for Lucas new for Natalie and me. And I could not be more thankful for that. I had worked up quite a sweat walking back and forth carrying boxes around. I was happy that this house still had all of the furniture in it so we didn't have to carry or buy any of that. We did however need to buy pots, pans plates and cutlery and any personal items we made need. A year or two ago when Loretta was checking in on the house she threw everything away. Age was starting to get to it, and well apparently no one knew our to do dishes and nothing was to her standard of clean.

I couldn't help but laugh at the memory of the other night with her ranting and raving about how Lucas needs to learn how to clean up after himself and how she never wants to see anything dirty in that house.

Andrew was helping me carry the last boxes from my room while Lucas was carrying boxes that Loretta had up in the attic that used to be all of there books and movies and all other trinkets that they used to own. And I think everything that she wanted to get rid of from her house.

I dumbed the boxes down by the door to what was now my bedroom, I had a king size bed, a built in robe and even a T.V in here, which Lucas installed yesterday along with the other T.V's in their bedroom and the living room.

Natalie was helpful for once and helped us buy new technology for the house. New T.V's for each room, a phone for Lucas and I. A new computer for the office for when Lucas gets a position in the pack and a laptop for myself. A MacBook is what I think she ended up getting for me, not that I think I will need to use it often, expect for this Netflix thing but I can put that on my T.V.

Tonight we are getting settled into the house, unpacking everything and I plan on staying well away from Natalie. And tomorrow, well tomorrow we stop living the easy life and get back into pack life. We will be training and trialling out positions. Andrew thought it would be best for me to work wit either the hunters or the trackers, he even said I had a chance of working patrols.

"Need any help?" Andrew asked as he dropped the last box down by the door.

"No, I think I'm all good. Thanks though." I smile and hug him, surprising the both of us for a moment. I rarely hug anyone and Andrew knows that. I almost snapped at him the other day for touching my arm.

I stepped back from him quickly. "So that just happened." He joked with his signature smirk.

"Oh shut it!" I smacked his chest. "It was a one time thing, never gonna happened again." I laughed.

"Whatever you say Lucy in the Sky." He joked whenever he sees me he now sings Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds. It is just to annoy me now I don't hate the song it's a classic after all. I do hate it when it is sung around me constantly.

"Are you ready for tomorrow?" He asked plopping himself down on the edge of my bed, studying me while waiting for my response.

"I guess." I shrugged, I don't know how to ready myself into figuring out my life here.

"That's not what I'm what I'm talking about and you know it." He cast a judging look my way.

Sighing I sat next to him on the edge of my new bed. "I don't know how to feel about that." I spoke referencing Zane. "I haven't seen him since then and honestly I don't know what to say, but at the same time I want to be around him. I don't really have any friends-"

"Ouch." Andrew used a fake hurt voice placing a hand over his heart. "What am I? Just plain old road kill?"

"That's not what I meant you big baby." This was what I like about Andrew, he knew how to laugh and ease the tension away from serious conversations. "I want friends, I want a normal life. And I don't want to cut someone out for a pointless reason."

I paused. "Well it isn't a pointless reason, I mean I have been avoiding him because he went through some pretty heavy shit, but at the same time so have I. Maybe he will understand me better then others. I just don't know." I cried out as I threw myself back to lie down on my bed.

"I just don't want to deal with life, you know." I admitted.

"I know, but you have to." He said smugly. "Well I would love to stay and help you unpack, but I actually have work to do." He teased. "I will meet you here in the morning." With that he left shifting and running off to the pack house.

Now I was left here to unpack everything yet again. At least this time I wont be packing again anytime soon.

Morning came quicker then Lucas and I would have liked, I was woken by the stupid alarm on this phone Natalie picked out for me, I don't know why she really bothered with one since I now have to link everyone. The only people I need to call are Alan and Wanda.

Who I really should check in with, we haven't spoken since the day they left. I guess I will be the winner of the terrible friend award.

I thought about having a quick shower but decided against it, I am only going to get dirty and sweaty in a matter on minutes out there. I threw on some of my trademark leggings and a sports bra. No point in ruining a good shirt.

Throwing my hair up into a ponytail while walking into the kitchen to see Lucas and Natalie sitting at the table.

"Do we have anything for breakfast?" I asked.

"There is an apple in the fridge but other then that nothing really. We will have to start growing things and take a trip into the nearby human town to start stocking up on food." Lucas turned around and smiled while Natalie just glared at me before looking at Lucas like a lovesick puppy.

She may be a bitch to me, but she seems to really love him.

"Andrew is on his way so you better eat quickly." Lucas said turning back to look at the laptop in front of him that Natalie was showing him something on.

I ate the apple throwing the core in the trash before going to the door to greet Andrew, I could smell him coming. My wolf and I were becoming better at combining our efforts and using our senses better.

"Are we all excited for today?" Andrew yelled as he walked into the kitchen, to which we all groaned at.

"Nope, definitely not. I don't want to get my ass handed to me today." Lucas moped.

"I'm excited." Natalie piped up sporting what seems to be a genuine smile. She was going to the pack house to meet with some of the other females that don't want to do jobs like tracking and hunting to see where she would best fit after she participated in the compulsory training.

Everyone had to train once a day to ensure that they could defend themselves in the case of an attack. Which I for one think is a brilliant idea.

Natalie was most excited to see the pack school apparently she loves kids. Personally I don't see it. Then again I don't know her at all besides the fact that she is from my birth pack and is Lucas' mate.

"I just want to get today other with." I groaned. "I want to finish watching that Greys Anatomy show that Andrew loves so much." I teased.

"I told you that in secrecy!" He snapped at me causing all of us including Natalie to erupt into a fit of laughter.

Andrew grumbled a fit of cruses before storming out of the house with us hot on his tail.

We reached the training grounds around the back of the pack in no time. Everyone stop and stared at us all for a moment wondering who we all were. They knew about us, they all of course knew Lucas but we hadn't really spent any time with the pack yet.

They didn't know who were really were. Andrew pointed over to where a tall strawberry blonde woman was stretching and told us to go over to her, that she normal leads the females in train. I jogged over to her while Natalie took a moment to say goodbye to Lucas, not like she wouldn't be seeing him soon.

"Hi." I held my hand out to the woman. "I'm Luce." I tried to put on my best attempt of a perfect smile.

The woman looked me up and down her blue- green eyes assessing me. I felt her wolf come forward as did my own. Sensing the other. "I'm Lena." She smiled moving forward to brush her cheek against mine.

She seemed genuine and my wolf didn't feel the need to be stand offish around her.

She pulled away looking around until her eyes landed on Natalie. "That's Natalie." I tried to politely say her name without my dislike seeping through. "She'll be here in a minute."

"I hope so, I want to get started. We have a long day ahead of us." She gave me a smirk while her wolf was giddy. I have a feeling that she is going to put us through hell today.

Here we are, a new chapter! sorry that it is a bit bland. Originally I planned for this and the next chapter to be together but it would be far to long if I did it that way! anyway enjoy this chapter and hopefully the next one should be out later today, if not tomorrow!
