Drowning In Despair

Consumed, washed away from the sunny shore

Fading, drifting in the deep disappearing from sight

Sinking, the cold chilling my heart faster than before

Sleeping, while the sun escapes the grasp of night

Shivering, fragile hands drag my body down

Remembering, nightmares clouding my vision

Struggling, gasping for air and the slightest sound

Rushing, the red liquid escaping with a small incision

Drowning, my voice suppressed by the waves

Weightless, as my emotions flee my broken mind

Struggling, trying to escape this despair filled grave

Trapped, lost in a dark world with no exit to find

Alone, drowning in despair
