~Zoro~

I eventually woke up and stretched a bit when i noticed a weight leaning on me, i looked over and felt my entire face burn as i saw it was Nicole napping on me, she knew exactly what to do to push my buttons, she knew how to play this game but i wasn't giving in not by a long shot.

~Nicole~

I felt someone shaking me and woke up, i yawned a bit and smiled at Zoro "Morning"i greeted "Care to explain why you decided to sleep on me?"he asked "I don't have a problem with you sleeping on me"i said "That's not the point!"he said "Whoa what got into you?"i asked, but in truth i knew exactly what i was doing "Why you!"Zoro growled "Hold that thought the others are down"i said just noticing that.

Zoro sighed a bit dropping it "Come on guys i know the weathers nice but that's no reason to be lazy"he said to them "We better be on the right track that's all i can say"he added, i snickered a bit, he had no idea how hard that actually was, then he noticed those two weirdos, i had noticed them earlier but completely forgot about them at the moment "What are you two doing here?" Zoro asked them.

"We're on a side mission to take them home to a town called Whiskey Peak"Luffy said seemingly the only one who wasn't completely tired out "Since when did we become a transport service for thugs? We don't owe them anything"Zoro said "I dunno"Luffy simply said, i sighed a bit before turning my attention to the weirdos as Zoro questioned them but not really paying full attention to it as i also noticed Nami walking over to us and bonking us both in the head, though i just barely dodged and acted like i was hit when i really wasn't.

"You jerks you think you can just sleep while the rest of us do all the work? And Nicole you could have warned me about the crazy weather! You're lucky we didn't toss your lazy asses over board!"Nami yelled at us "Didn't Crocus warn you though? Or were you just not paying attention? Perhaps you thought it couldn't possibly be that bad and was foolish enough to take your eyes of the Log Pose?"I asked, Nami didn't reply just looked away.

"Listen up Nami cause i'm only telling this to you once, drive it into your thick skull like a screw and never forget, always check your Log Pose at least once every minute, trust nothing except your instincts and keep your eyes pealed, there are worst things on this sea then the weather"i told her, she sighed a bit before facing the others.

"Listen up everyone, there's no way to know what happens next, during the terror most of us just experienced i came to learn why this sea was called the Grand Line, Nicole's words drove that lesson in, my navigation skills are useless here, anything can happen but mark my words i will guide us through!"Nami said a new determination burning in her, to beat the Grand Line's unpredictable weather and guide us through all they way to Raftel.

"You sure about that Nami?"Usopp asked "Without a doubt we're gonna be fine, just wait and see"Nami smiled "Speaking of which we're here, our first journey on the Grand Line comes to an end"she said pointing out that we were closing in on an island with giant cacti, i was excited to set foot on new land as well, even having lived the majority of my life in the Grand Line even i haven't been on every island and this was one of them, then i grew a hunch we were on a route with islands i've never even seen before.

"It's an island!"Luffy said grinning excitedly "So this is Whiskey Peak, the landscape is unlike anything i've ever seen"Sanji said "Whoa those cactuses are humongous"Luffy said, the two weirdos jumped of swimming the rest of the way but who cares about them we were about to make landfall "Hope there's a water way right up to the shoreline, it looks like we can go inland by ship"Nami said "Um i'm weighing the possibility of monsters out there how likely is that Nicole?"Usopp asked "I'd say about ninety seven percent"i said, although i'd say that about every island on the Grand Line regardless of size or that it seems uninhabitable, life finds a way.

"No problem if we find monsters we can just leave"Luffy said "Except not actually, it's imperative we stay on this island until the Log Pose can record the next heading, which can take just a few hours or even years depending on different islands"i said "Suppose this island is crawling with monsters but we get stuck here waiting for years, that's stupid we'd be done for, what's the point of gathering navigation coordinates if you're dead?"Usopp asked whimpering a bit.

"We're staying"Nami said "Let's not think about the monsters until we have to, they're not even there"Luffy said "As strange as this seems i agree, there's no need to worry yet"Zoro said "Now that that's settled let's get going and i'll keep you safe Nami, Nicole"Sanji said "Thanks but i can handle myself Sanji"i told him "I don't think i'll be able to make it with this cold, it's a condition really you guys should just go on without me"Usopp said "Alright let's get ready and make sure you're prepared to run as well as fight"Nami said.

Usopp was muttering about something but we all ignored him as we sailed into the fog but i could see people on the shore "I don't like this"i muttered standing next to Zoro "Same here we best be on our guard"Zoro said, the fog started to clear and we were greeted by a cheering crowd "Okay something is definitely up"i said "Who do they think would fall for this?"Zoro asked "Let's play along for now though"he added, i nodded in agreement dropping my guard.

We made landfall docking the Going Merry at the shore "Welcome my name is Igarappoi and it is my honor as major to welcome you to Whiskey Peak"a man with his hair curled said "Oh great, nice to meet you, i'm Luffy, nice hair i like the curls"he said "You'll find that this is a place that thrives on making liquor and music, hospitality is a matter of pride in our town, the smiles run long and the liquor flows as bountiful as sea water, would you permit us to throw a party in your arrival so that we may hear"the man cut himself off to clear his throat.

"Your tales of adventure"he said finishing the sentence "We'd be glad to!"Luffy, Usopp and Sanji said before dancing off, i sweatdropped, apparently they are stupid enough to fall for this "By the way how long until the log pose records this island's magnetic field?"Nami asked "Oh such boring details will have to keep for now surely you'd like to rest after your journey"the man said grabbing Nami "Now let's prepare to party sing and be merry entertain our guest!"he said.

The preparations went off right away and by nightfall everyone was partying, Igarappoi the major offered us drinks "Please don't hold back on my account drink up"he said "Oh no thanks, i don't drink"Nami said trying to refuse "Don't worry"the major said before clearing his throat again "Don't you worry what you have there is a very special drink made by using only the sweetest premium grapes, it contains all the flavor benefits of a fine wine but zero alcohol"the major said.

I scoffed a bit "You call that a drink? Come back when you have a hard liquor"i said but took a sip of the drink anyway "It's delicious"Nami said "We had an excellent harvest this year and to celebrate that harvest our traditional toast competition!"the major said and the people cheered "It's simple make a toast take a drink this continues for as long as you can hold your liquor last one standing is the winner, join us!"the major said "No thanks, you go ahead i rather watch the competition"Nami said, the major mentioned a price and Nami flipped her attitude just like that.

The competition got started and we started pounding back one drink after another, i wasn't that interested in the money but Zoro and i have drinking competitions all the time, i refused to lose my winning streak "Holy shit! That other girl is already on mug thirteen!"i heard someone yell from the crowd as i finished another mug "You losers ain't got nothing on me!"i yelled getting another mug and pounding it back.

"That's it i'm calling it quits"Zoro muttered falling on the table after thirteen mugs, i laughed "Oh yeah! The winning streak continues, eat it Zoro!"i yelled before going down laying my head on his back having finished fifteen mugs.

After a while everything went quiet "Hey you awake?"i heard Zoro whisper to me "Of course, i mean zero alcohol? And they were planning to drink us under the table with that flimsy excuse"i whispered back getting off him, he chuckled a bit getting up "Let's go have a chat with them shall we?"he asked with a smirk, i smirked back "We shall, i have a few choice words about the crappy drink"i said, we went to the roof and listened to them discussing their plans, Zoro drew one of his swords and held it up against the moon light "Hey"he called to the group.

~Third~

"Sorry to interrupt but you mind letting my friends sleep? They've had a long day and the journey was exhausting or so i've been told"Zoro said sitting on the roof of the building, Nicole standing next to him in a pose the moonlight illuminating them all cool and badass like "hey Mr. 8, miss Monday two of them escaped the room while we weren't looking!"some guy said "Ugh they're right over there"miss Wednesday said looking up at Zoro and Nicole.

"Sneaky wrench, you should have stayed asleep with your friends"Igarappoi rather Mr. 8 said "A good swordsman never makes the mistake of putting their guard down plus we took a nap earlier"Nicole said as Zoro stood up as more people appeared below "Judging by the scowled and cheap disguises i'm guessing you're all bounty hunters, your specialty is robbing drunk pirates who fall for your hospitality it's original i'll give you that at least"Zoro said.

"Speaking of that drink you'd think these guys would at least have the decency of getting proper booze"Nicole added "I count a hundred of you scumbags give or take and i'll fight all of you, you hear me Baroque Works?"Zoro asked "You will not! I didn't come up here just to look cool i'm fighting too!"Nicole yelled at him "Fine you can take half"Zoro grumbled with a sigh "That's better" Nicole nodded "How do you know our name?!"Mr.8 asked shocked by both Zoro's knowledge.

"I used to be in a similar line of work once upon a time, your company tried to entice me with a job offer, naturally i said no, do the same rules still apply? Employee identities kept secret, cheesy code names, the bosses identity and whereabouts are also a mystery? Baroque Works the criminal group that fatefully carries out their orders like herded sheep"Zoro chuckled a bit "That's some secret"he said.

"It's kinda ridiculous actually"Nicole said "This is a surprise, if you know all of our secrets we're left with no other choice but to kill you and two more gravestones shall be added to the cactus rocks tonight"Mr.8 said "Oh i'm so scared"Nicole said sarcastically and smirked "Kill them!"Mr.8 ordered but the two had already disappeared.
