Lily flew on top of Laserbeak while her father ran on the ground with the Autobots. Soundwave and Megatron, along with a few Vehicacons flew in the air above them.

Lily watched with wide eyes as the world below her passed like a blur. Her father used to live here. From all the storys the twins told her, Cybertron used to be an amazing place. Yet.... it was lifeless.

:Lily are you all right?: Blurr asked, running in between Jazz and Sunstreaker's alts.

:Yeah.:

{:Soundwave, where are we going?:} Megatron asked.

{:Follow.:} The MQ-9 Reaper surged forwards and Lily gripped onto Lazerbeak as she she followed.

Blurr pushed energon through his frame. The gears and springs hissing as he pumped his legs, peds digging into the familar ground of his past home.

His family surrounded him, their alts roaring as they all traveled down the wide road that led to Iacon.

Blurr looked to his right, Sunstreaker. His left, Sideswipe. Two amazing bots who withstood all possibilities of termination. Now they were the greatest frontliners in history. Split spark twins. They survived.

Bumblebee surged forwards, scouting ahead for the group. Blurr smiled. The youngling was amazing alright. If anyone were to become the next Prime, no doubt Bee would or at least an important leader in Cybertrons future.

Blurr was to distracted with the possible futures of his family to notice the hole in the road.

Suddenly he tripped through the opening.

:Dad!: Lily screamed from the air both aloud and through the bond.

{:Blurr!!!:}

He heard his team mates screeching tires, their voices filling his helm.

The road to Iacon was the tallest road on Cybertron, taller than Earths Eiffle Tower. Normally this wouldn't be a trouble for Blurr, but the ground was unstable. The structures unreliable.

Suddenly the roar of a jet engine pierced the white noise and he slammed into something hard.

"S-Soundwave?" Blurr slipped down The MQ-9 Reapers wing, his dedgets trying to get a hold of Soundwave's body. Failing, the TIC deployed his tenticals and latched them onto Blurr's back, pulling him up.

Finally, the Elite Guard gripped the wings and the both of them flew back towards the road.

:Thank you brother.: Blurr sighed, his long legs dangling in the air as they hovered above the road.

:Gratitude: noted: Soundwave dropped Blurr on the ground.

Their victory was short lived however. {:Bleep, Bleep,BLEEP, BLOOP!:}

"Incomin'! From all sides." Jazz shouted.

Ironhide brought out his cannons, a smile plastered upon his face.

"Soundwave!" Megatron barked, "have the vehicacons cover our flank. We cannot be sorrounded!"

Soundwave nodded, jumping and transforming before flying with a group of fliers.

Lily was high in the air, atop Laserbeak. She looked down seeing her family form up. Sideswipe, Sunstreaker and Blurr took to the front. Megatron, Optimus and Jazz took up the middle while Ironhide and Ratchet took the rear.

"What the frag are those?" Sunstreaker asked as their attackers showed themselves.

They were bots who were beoken, some missing an arm or even a leg. They leaked purple energon everywhere as they hissed and growled while their dead optics stared at the allied group.

"Those..." Megatron breathed, "Are nothing more than remnants of war. Watch yourselves, they will drink your fluids and eat your sparks."

Sideswipe shivered at that. "Then don't let them touch you." Blurr's visor and mask snapped shut as his energon sheild and sword suddenly appeared. Then in a blink of an eye, he vanished.

Lily watched as they all engaged the zombies. The twins and Jazz taking the lead while Optimus and Megatron took on the bigger foes. Ratchet and Ironhide hitting thoughs who would attack behind someone's back.

Where was her father though? Lily scanned the battle feild and saw something odd. A lot of the zombies where just collapsing on the ground. Then she saw the blue streaks in the air, leaving behind a trail from its runner.

Blurr was using his speed to destroy quick and easy opponents, evening the odds.

Lily looked behind her where Soundwave was leading a group to attack the rear.

{:Ironhide, shoot that support structure.:} Sideswipe commed.

Ironhide punched a zombiebot in the face, shattering the entire helm. He looked to the small structure on the side of the road and analyzed the battle. Smirking and raising his two cannons, he fired, hitting the support pillar spot on.

The small building began to shake and suddenly it collapsed onto the attackers.

Lily watched with amazement. They were like a unified, living organism. Working to accommodate their weak links. To Lily, it was breathtaking to watch.

{:Move!:} Steve yelped through the comm link. Everyone looked back to see what was once a medical practice building, shake and suddenly it creaked and roared, timbering over the bridge.

{:Retreat:} Optimus yelled. Everyone trasnformed and drove/flew down the road.

Laserbeak followed with Lily but it seemed like the building was catching up to her.

:Blurr:

The sire stopped as everyone rushed by. His sparkling wouldn't escape the fall in time. :Soundwave, can that drone of yours go any faster?:

There was no reply but Blurr felt annoyance from his brother and hidden laces of pain.

Gritting his denta, Blurr transwarped to the falling building and used its ground facing side to run along.

:Lily, hold onto Laserbeak and don't let go. I'm going to catch you then I'm going to jump back to the others.:

Blurr saw the girl snuggle closer to the drone, signaling that she was ready to jump.

Lily closed her eyes digging her fingers into the drones armor. She heard the building shattering and breaking, chasing her like a monster in one's dreams.

Optimus and the others watched Blurr run upside down as the building was now almost half way to the road. "No need ta worry." Jazz said, reasuraning the Prime. "He's been through worse."

Blurr grabbed Lily in his arms and transwarped to he road before Megatron and Optimus. His body hunched over his knees.

The medical building landed on the road behind them and shattered, leaving a giant break in the high way as it vanished in the darkness bellow.

"Did you get her?" Sideswipe asked worriedly.

Blurr stood up and there was the human girl, still clutching onto Laserbeak who was in Blurr's servos.

"I think I'm going to be sick." Lily grumbled holding her stomach.

Everyone smiled and started to fawn over the pair, Megatron noted. Expecially the medic Ratchet, at hearing her words of being ill.

Now that Megatron wasn't being attacked from all sides by the Elite Guardsmen, he was able to observe him in a new perspective.

Blurr was the type of comrade one would want beside them on the battle feild because Megatron experienced first hand, his barrage of attacks from all sides. His speed was truly a gift from Primus.

Looking to the human fleshling in his servos, Megatron face plates twitched just a fraction upwards. The human had a nack for bringing together enemies and making them allies.

Suddenly everyone looked up to see the jets who were tasked with covering the flank, returning. One was a MQ-9 Reaper. Transforming, Soundwave bowed his helm.

Lily gasped, "Soundwave what happened?" His entire frame was littered with scratches.

"Commander Soundwave was caught in the building." Steve answered for the quiet bot.

To Megatrons surprise, his TIC released a tentical and used it to smack the vehicacon back about 20 feet.

'Soundwave is allowing what little of his emotions, to take hold of his actions?' Megatron thought. "Interesting." He hissed.

"Target location 3.5 clicks ahead. Recomendary action: Head towards the destination before sundown."

Optimus looked to Megatron, awaiting an order. "We must move quickly." The warlord said and again, they were off.

Lily, in the air on Laserbeak beside Soundwave and Megatron. Her father and family below her, Lily swallowed as she saw a golden, destroyed building in the distance.

Her heart was starting to feel heavy.
