Violet had big guts to ask Indigo if she could talk to Logan. And Logan was Logan, his wolf was grinning looking at her. Douche was going to make a big deal out of it. I just knew it.

"See. No one can resist me." Logan linked me. There. 

"You're a man-whore." I called back at him. No really, he was the guy who every girl wanted. I barely had friends because of him. All of them flaunted in front of him and he very graciously entertained them. Let's just say he was an expert in wooing girls.

"You're just jealous." He scoffed.

"Fuck off!" I said and blocked him.

We were walking back to the cabin eventually as Logan pulled me in a hug while we walked. "I'm happy." He said as he looked down at me, his smile looked like he achieved a milestone. "You were right. She is irresistible." 

I shook my head at him with a smile. "But you know better." He sighed and nodded. I knew it hurt him but this was life. Mom and dad's bags were ready and kept near the door. Logan kissed my head and went in get his bag. I looked up at my parenttos and ran up to them. Dad gathered me in a hug as his eyes watered while my mom kept rubbing my back.

This was worse than the time I went to study in another country. They weren't like this at that time. I felt it more. They were my parents and once I pledged my allegiance with the pack, it would break my bond with my previous pack.

"I'll keep visiting you." I said, as I looked back at him.

"And we'll keep visiting you." He replied as he held back his tears. Logan came out with his bags and stood next to mom. Just then Villa and Vicky came in. They bowed their heads and gave me a sad smile.

"Luna, it breaks our hearts to see you cry." Vicky said.

"Yeah, she looks like a frog!" Logan laughed, earning a glare from me.

"I would fight you for saying that, Alpha Logan." Villa said. He just laughed more and pinched both my cheeks, making faces. That caused me to smack his hands away but he pulled me into a hug anyway.

"You better be better because if I decide to show up unannounced and I find you not better, it won't be better for you mate." He said and I chuckled.

"She's going to be more than better." Vicky quickly countered. Mom and dad nodded in approval.

"Come on now. We gotta go." Dad said and Vicky moved to pick up their bags. Mom and Villa went out first and Dad and Vicky followed them.

"Okay listen up. If you need me anytime, regarding anything, don't hesitate. I'll be here before you know it." Logan said, glancing outside and then back to me. "Even if it involves Violet. I'll be happy to help."

"Logan you're worrying alrea-" I started but he cut me.

"Please. I promise I won't be of any trouble. I just can't stop thinking about her curse or her. And yes I am worried so I want you to help me to not be worried while I am away. Do it for me." He looked at me with pleading eyes.

"You saw how Indigo is around her." I said as I rubbed his arm.

"I know. But just say yes so my wolf is assured." He said, giving me a look.

"I'll call you if there's anything we need. I'll keep in touch with you about Violet." I said with a smile. "For real, Logan. I will." I told him and he smiled brightly.

We walked outside and mom's eyes were all I could see. Fuck, I broke down again as she hugged me. "My baby. I love you so much." She said as she kept running a hand through my hair. She let out her alpha aura to let us know her wolf was there. I did the same and let my wolf come forward. She nuzzled me to her, letting the others know I was her pup. It was a warning call to all the wolves out there to let them know that her pup was not to be taken lightly.

Dad's wolf showed himself through his eyes as he put a hand around mom's shoulder. "You've made us the proudest parents there could ever be. Keep growing Angel. We'll always be there for you." He said.

"Dad." I choked on my tears as he pulled me into a hug. Indigo came out from the pack house along with everyone. Villa comforted my mom as Vicky talked to Logan.

"Blue." Indigo called out slowly. I looked up at dad from his chest. He smiled at me and nodded his head, placing two lingering kisses on my forehead. He wiped my tears away and said, "We'll get going now. I'm going to have a good talk with your brothers." He said, earning a small laugh from me. "Your mate might make us stay here forever." He said, laughing at the sarcastic comment he made.

"He shouldn't have a problem with that." I mumbled, smiling with mischief as Indigo shook his head.

"No wonder Logan has taken after him." Mom mumbled under her breath as she pulled dad along with her. Indigo came and stood beside me gathering me in his arms. The cars were already there, waiting for us. Logan gave me one smile and a wink. He then looked at Indigo as his smile vanished. Indigo shook his head again and kissed my crown.

Logan must have delivered Linus's warning to him.

He got in the driver's seat as mom and dad sat back. They waved a bye to us, making me a crying mess. Eli, and two other warriors from the pack that I did not names of got into the truck and drove off not before Eli spreading his arms open for Violet to hug. She hugged him and he sang. "I want it, I got it.."

He literally deserved an award for making people laugh.

As soon as all of them left Indigo took me back to the waterfall. We shifted midway to get there. Indigo and I did not say a word the whole way. I just couldn't stop my tears. I wanted to run behind them and jump in the car but at the same time stay here and start a new family.

My brain was going to burst thinking about it all. Now that they had left, we had another decision to make. My project about the shifter's lab. I was the lead on the project and I wasn't planning on quitting it.

I didn't know what Indigo felt about it. I knew I had to talk to him. I had to go to the council or atleast write a letter to them saying I had found my mate. I don't know if they would give me more time to settle things with him because this was my mission. I started it.

At the same time, I couldn't keep the others hanging because of me. There were new members who I had chosen from the packs I had been to. They were really talented in this field. Mostly healers who knew a lot about medicine. Although even if they knew much, shifters roaming in the human settlements were always in danger.

So we had decided to train them better for the worst that could come their way. I decided to finish with two packs at a time. After two packs, I took a break for them to prepare. They were then sent to my vampire friends, Cleo and Sarah.

Ravi was another member who was a werewolf from another country and was a beta born wolf. His sister became the beta as he had very little interest in becoming one. He wanted to be a part of this to save our entire race after he heard about me. His alpha contacted my dad to help him throughout the admission process. That's how we met. I was so proud of myself that day. It was because of me that someone found hope to get out of the pack and do what they wanted.

There were other shifters as well like the dragons, witches and other were's. We all had to work together for this cause anyway.

I was one of the chief representatives of it, so I had pretty much on my hands to deal with. I wanted to do this with all my heart. Dad wouldn't have allowed me if he felt that I wasn't ready. I didn't know how Indigo would take it if I had to leave every month or when duty called.

My wolf and I didn't want to leave so soon either. We had just found him and we didn't even know each other much. Plus I was Luna and I knew along with Indigo these people here needed me.

Goddess! It was gonna be tough for me.

Indigo and I ran in our fur to the waterfall he took me to first. My wolf, too, wanted to let it all out. She pushed her legs faster against the ground and once she saw the waterfall, she jumped into it without stopping for her mate. He was right behind us, wanting us to do what we wanted.

She jumped inside and into the water, padding her legs to reach the surface.  She went below the fall and stayed there for a minute or two, letting all her troubles drown away with the water. This was our new life, our new home. These were the people who were now going to stand for me, with me. The thought made me happy. It made me smile.

Once she was settled, she came out to see her mate, waiting for her.

She shook her whole form side to side, throwing all the excess water away from her fur. Indigo's wolf came to stand in front of her and intertwined his neck with hers, rubbing his scent over her, comforting her, making her feel that she wasn't alone and that he was always going to be there for her. She purred in content and did the same to him. She licked him over his head, neck, belly as he stood there letting her do all what she wanted. She then rubbed her body against his whole form, gaining a growl of satisfaction from him.

He licked her back, hungrily while she gave it to him. Once they were done, Indigo went behind a boulder and brought out the same clothes we had worn the other day. I picked up the pants and a shirt and stood there. I thought about going behind the boulder to change but I stood there looking at my mate.

Indigo's dark wolf turned around knowing I didn't want to go away. I shifted quickly, wore my clothes and looked at him. Moving a hand from his back to his head, I moved to stand in front of him. He purred and shifted in front of me the same way he did when we first saw each other. My cheeks flushed, looking at him standing in front of me all in his naked glory.

How much I wanted to rub my ass over his front.

I snapped out of my thoughts when he picked his clothes.

He quickly wore his pants and turned to look at me. My eyes were already red from crying but I knew this was where I was meant to be. He took my hand in his and pulled me to his chest. With one hand holding my head and one on my back, he held me to him. We didn't even say a word all this time. It was easy this way, me letting him feel all my emotions through the bond. I closed my eyes and held onto him like my life depended on it.

"Blue." He called my name, making me look at him.

"You're my hoe." He said which made me pull back.

"What?" I asked, laughing.

"Heaven on earth." He said as a smile played on my lips. He placed a chaste kiss on my lips but I pulled his face back to mine. I kissed him with so much raw passion, it felt like it was the very first time I was kissing him. He kissed me back the same way, blowing up my senses and making it hard for me to breathe.

I didn't want to breathe this time. I didn't want him to stop. I wanted him as much as he wanted me. Every fiber in us was lightening up with sparks. It gleamed, dazzled, twinkled with desire and ecstasy having an effect on our bond.

The intensity of the hunger for each other in the kiss grew more when I moaned into his mouth. His tongue devoured my mouth like it was his fucking meal and I loved it. I laughed and swam to the other side as he came to the surface. He groaned and chased me. I immediately dipped down and swam away from him. But damn he was fast. He caught me and tickled me all over until my stomach hurt from laughing, until we disturbed the entire surface of the water.

We spent quite a few minutes in the water, having fun, racing like small kids, laughing, running, swimming, jumping in and out making different poses as we jumped in. This place was my favourite place now. I loved it. It brought out the childish and at the same time adult side in us.

We came out after some time and sat on the same boulder we sat last time because it was the only comfortable boulder on which we could lay without hurting our backs.

It felt good to sit under the sun after swimming and playing around the waterfall. It made me remember the days back at Crystal Pearl when we used to go for every other festival or picnic or gathering at the beach. We used to play all day in the water, swim, kayak and much more and then we used to lay on the beach to get a good tan.

I missed those days.

I shook my thoughts out of my head before I started crying again. 

"We need to tell the council." I said, looking at Indigo. I was laying on his stomach as he had his left hand on my back and right hand behind his head, supporting it. We knew we had to talk about my project.

"I'll be clear, blue. I wouldn't stop you from whatever it is you are trying to do. I trust you and you're so strong. But I and my wolf wouldn't let you out of this pack without marking you and also not before you officially take the Luna position of our pack. And about you going away, you will not be going alone. I will have my best warriors go with you." He said and put a finger on my lips to stop me from speaking.

"Don't deny it. You and Violet are the only family I have left. I cannot lose either of you knowing I could protect you. Don't fight me on this. Sending the warriors with you doesn't mean you are any weak. But I cannot sit here knowing you would be throwing yourself in front of danger any moment. I know how much my pack needs their Luna and they'd do it themselves to keep you protected. I need you with me. Violet needs you. I don't even know if the idea of letting you away from me is settling with me." He said, with a hand caressing my face. I could feel the struggle he was facing in his eyes while saying those words. My wolf sat with her head on her paws looking at her mate who was trying to accept what we were meant to do.

"Whatever you say. But we need to tell them that I need more time for all of this. I could appoint someone else in my position for a while. A lot of arrangements are going to need to be changed." I told him, trying to keep a straight face. 

I knew the drawbacks of me being away for a while from the project. It wasn't some normal, high school project. It involved hunters who were trying to end us. They kidnapped the weak shifters and conducted numerous experiments on them, tortured them, killed them and did goddess knows what. As long as someone worked in my place and kept me updated, I could stay here.

"I know it's going to be difficult but please just understand me. I can't just let you-" He was saying when I cut him.

"You are my mate, Indigo. If you cannot be at peace with me out there, how can I? I need you to be clear headed for the pack, for Violet. I won't leave until everything you want is done. I'll keep working from here until I know we both are ready. Sounds good?" I assured him.

He placed a quick peck on my lips and said, "I am a fucking lucky ass mate." I fanned myself, making him laugh.

"That makes the two of us." I told him as he grinned and growled in approval.

We talked some more about our lives back then. I told him, we could go to my pack sometime and lay on the beach the same way. I told him everything I'd done to get to where I was today. He told me how he lived at Klaus' and that he moved to his place when he took the pack.

His eyes welled with tears when he told me about the day he stepped back in his house again and how it smelled of them. Eli held onto him all the time until he sobered up to renovate the place. But he didn't do much, he just cleaned it, placed their things in boxes and kept them in the store room as Eli, Jane, Alistair and Villa helped him.

He told me Villa was like an elder sister to him. She let him sleep with his head on her lap, making him feel at home after they had done cleaning everything.

"Villa, I am fucking Alpha now!" That's what I told her." Indigo said as he let out a small laugh. "She was so much like mom that day. Layla was only some years old and-," he laughed again, "Vicky messed something up with her so Villa sent him off to the nursery to take lessons, again! She said.. Brag all you want about being an alpha and just so you know I have a huge amount of respect towards you, but you need to let us in, Indigo. Eli has his own demons. He cannot worry about you all the time...he needs to have time for himself. So get your ass back here and lay down. Let me know my alpha can live under this roof peacefully again...your parents would have wanted it... It struck me that day. I didn't realize Eli had his own family to deal with. His sister had found her mate and he was not letting them live in peace and Klaus..." He breathed out, shutting his eyes for a moment before opening them. "So I just laid down and she made me put my head on her lap. It was the same way mom did it. I just- I just couldn't help but grow fond of Villa that day."

"I'm happy for you, Indigo. I'm happy you had such loving people around you. I even asked Layla up for adoption." I giggled. "She said.. If the person happens to be your mate then she would definitely think about it." I told Indigo.

"She wants to see everyone happy. That's her life goal." Indigo told me as he chuckled.

Sometimes even an Alpha needed to be told that he was loved, that even though he had an empty house to return to, he could count on people who would be there for him.

Alpha's have feelings too. They aren't always bad and dominating. We all want to feel loved, wanted and of course we need someone we knew we could go to when we don't feel like ourselves.

Like Logan and Linus were my go to.

I had so many of them to thank, for keeping up with him, for being there for him. Indigo also told me he had all of Violet's toys and books and clothes. He said he'd give them to her some day.

We decided to head back after sometime but not before he moved under my shirt, well his shirt that I wore and took my breasts into his mouth.

Damn him.

Klaus took out his phone to click pictures of them while Violet tried to free herself, laughing wholeheartedly.

She then asked Klaus to take a picture of the three of us where she sat in between me and Indigo. She then took the phone from Klaus and kept it on the table and made us sit around her. She set the timer and hurried to sit next to Klaus as the timer went off, taking our picture.

"We can send this to Eli. He'll keep pouting until he returns." Klaus told her. And they did. They sent the pictures to Eli while I and Indigo went back to change.

I wanted to stay with him in his room from today because I didn't know how soon it was going to be until I left to do my job. I guess I had to have a conversation about it with Violet.

Goddess, I didn't want her to feel alone again. I thought about talking to Indigo first.

I came back down dressed and Violet showed me a video Eli sent them. Arnold was driving and singing along with Paulo while Eli just sang the chorus of Bella Ciao from Money Heist. All of us laughed together at that.

I sure was loving it here with my new family.
