Please try to keep all questions in the Q&A chapter so I can better answer them, and so others who may have your same question can see the question and my response easier.

Rules:

- You can submit up to three times with three different books.

- Read the categories chapter before submitting a form. The categories chapter lists the categories and judging criteria so you can better know if your story fits my criteria, and I also give tips for every category. This is basically like an open-book exam, so please take advantage of this and read the tips.

- It doesn't matter when the book was published. It could have been published in 2012 or 12 seconds ago, and it's eligible for this contest.

- I am the only judge to ensure fair, consistent judging; even if you don't like the results, at least you know the same set of eyes reviewed the entire category.

- No disrespect tolerated; please keep any rude comments about participants or me to yourself, your pet, and/or your best friend's dms.

- Reviews may take time, but they will get done. I, Raven, am a professional reviewer—as in, it is my actual paid job to review professionally published work. If you are unfamiliar with the reviewing world, it is standard for reviews to take time, so please do not expect a professional-quality review from anyone, not just me, within like two days. Please be patient. If you do not want to wait for results, I respect that, though please respect me and my time by not signing up.

-- My reviews will never bash you or insult your writing, though I will be honest. There will be both praise and constructive criticism in my reviews. If you are not prepared to read honest criticism, that is perfectly okay since Wattpad is a site for fun, but please do not sign up for this contest if you fear you will become defensive over any criticisms I may give you.

- I will likely not start judging for 2-4 weeks after this contest's publication. I wait before beginning judging to allow more categories to fill and to see if there are any early back outs.

- With that said, no back outs are allowed when I am judging your category or am about to judge your category (I will say what categories I am about to judge/am judging in this book, so keep an eye on the updates).

- Not required, but I have a Discord server where I post updates about all my contests, so if you would like to connect with more authors, advertise your work, bounce your ideas off people, and/or just join for contest updates, I will leave a link to it in the inline comments here --->

- Ongoing stories, oneshots, fanfics, mature, LGBTQ+, etc. are all allowed. If you are submitting a oneshot, it must be one oneshot, not multiple. You can submit a collection, just tell me what oneshot from the collection you'd like me to judge.

- I don't expect you to put your writing journey on pause for sake of a contest. For that reason, you are absolutely allowed to edit and upload new chapters to your work even after submitting here. All I ask is please inform me of any username or book title changes, and please do not edit your title, blurb, username, or cover while I am judging your category. This only applies when I am judging the category you are in. Otherwise, you can edit to your heart's content.

- The password for entry is the first three letters of your username and your favorite number (i.e., for me, it's rav7).

- Yes, there will be poetry categories where only poetry is allowed, but please do not submit poetry to categories not labeled as poetry categories.

- Do not attempt to bribe me. It won't work. Well, if you give me a 72-hour long video—video, not a loop—of Park Jimin from BTS making it drop like it's hot and he in WAP and flying that pretty a$$ long, flowing black hair in the wind created by the bounce of them booty cheeks while Une vie á t'aimer by Lorien Testard is blasting in the background, I might consider it. Might.

I find it hilarious how people say I sound scary when all of my contests have some crap like that ^^ in them like bro come on how do y'all think I'm scary.

Also, y'all are scared of a 5'2 redhead with feet problems. Come on now, what am I gonna do? Breathe on your ankles?

Restrictions:

- Any book that goes against Wattpad's content guidelines will be disqualified and reported.

- Books where there is graphic sexual content between BTS member x BTS member. I'm sorry, but I'm very uncomfortable with reading BTS members banging each other. Just not my scene.

-- In general, I'm not a big smut person, and while I don't mind if you submit a book with smut in it, please do not submit a book if there's a lot of smut in the book.

- Obviously, AI-generated books are frowned upon here, so please do not submit them. Don't steal slots in this contest from people who actually wrote their work.

-- That said, if you have used AI for certain aspects of the narrative, like helping with spell check or brainstorming, that is fine. I'm talking about stories that were actually made or heavily made and/or rephrased by AI. I still recommend avoiding using AI for rephrasing your sentences. Spell and grammar checks, sure that's cool, but rephrasing? AI is not good at writing, so you're better off just doing it yourself. Trust me, you will do it better than AI will.

Disclaimer:

I, Ravendipity, am a senior Wattpad Ambassador, but this contest has no affiliation with Wattpad in any way, shape, or form.
