BEST POETRY COLLECTION - INTRODUCTIONS

Hello, everyone! Welcome back to another batch of introductions & results! First, we'll start with introductions, and the results will be posted within the next 48 hours!

Question of the day: What is your favorite thing about being a writer?

Let's meet the participants of the Best Poetry Collection category! Here are all of the participants and what collections they are participating with:

EnigmaEpic with the collection Whispers in Sonnets. Enigmaaaaa it's always so great to have you! I always get excited when I see your name in my notifs, so having the honor of reviewing your work again is jnkvjdks. Everyone, this is Enigma, who is an incredibly talented poet and writer. Enigma has two works: Fates Converged: A Witch's Vow and Whispers in Sonnets, both of which I've read before and can recommend for y'all! Whispers in Sonnets I've read previously for my weekly writing contest, and it's scored very well with both myself and my co-host, so that's your sign to give it a looksie! Thank you for being here, Enigma!

H-QUEE with the collection Lullabies for the Lost. H-QUEE is back with another awesome story for us! This time, she's submitted Lullabies for the Lost, which is a beautiful poetry collection that will bring lost souls together. It's dark and raw, covering realistic feelings that will resonate with you. It opens with a strong, blunt poem that's unlike any I've read before. However, there are plenty of other works on her profile worth looking at, like letters to the transient sky, a story centered around a runaway girl and featuring BTS member, Kim Taehyung, which I've also read and enjoyed. I strongly recommend checking out her profile!

thetorturedpoetess with the collection Abyss. You'll recognize thetorturedpoetess, or Madeeha, from the previous category, where she scored very highly. Now, we're here to look at Abyss, the full poetry collection, which I can personally recommend. Soldier, Poet, Queen just dropped today, so that's a brand new poem to check out from the collection! And, also, Madeeha has amazing aesthetics on her profile with a cool bio and equally cool reading lists. Though, beyond all of that, I consider Madeeha a friend and someone who's always been so sweet and supportive, so if anyone has some time, I'd really appreciate it if you gave her that same support and love back. Trust me, she deserves it.

IrenicJ_stories with the collection Terra Humana. This is the third and final category IrenicJ_stories, or simply Irena, is participating in, and so far, she's scored runner-up in both categories (Aesthetics and Poem), which is incredibly impressive. We're here to judge the entirety of Terra Humana now, whereas last category we were looking at The Dark Sky and Ocean, which was a wonderful poem very deserving of its high praise. I seriously and genuinely recommend this collection. Obviously, I'll share my thoughts on it shortly, but just to give a preview: it's very good, and Irena is a wonderful poet. This may be your last entry into this contest, but I'll definitely continue to check out your profile!

000anamika000 with the collection BENEATH THE SURFACE. Anamika is back after scoring well in the previous category, and here, we have BENEATH THE SURFACE, a poetry collection with an impressive thirty poems. They're based off various challenges and prompts, which I think is a cool idea for a collection! Anamika has plenty of works to choose from, though, so I recommend giving all of Anamika's works a looksie! Anamika is incredibly kind, so I hope anyone available will show that same kindness back! Thank you for being here, Anamika! It's always nice to see you!

Milicaorevi7 with the collection Lighthouse. You may recognize Milica from the Best Cover category, with the story Burn Her Pretty Wings, which scored highly for being a beautiful cover. If you haven't seen it yet, I strongly suggest checking it out! Milica has over 15 works, so the odds are there's something for you on Milica's page! I'm personally curious about Allergic To Boredom, so I'd love to give that a looksie, same with Wine And Smoke. Lighthouse is where you should start, though, so you can see the powerful emotions Milica put on paper. I loved my read through, and I know you guys will, too!

Total participants: 6.

We have a talented category here. Judging this one was tough, to say the least. Everyone scored very highly, so I'm excited to post my thoughts on everyone's works!

I like judging full written works more than anything, but there's something about poetry judging that kinda just... triggers something in my brain, y'know? Like I get a little more into the themes and emotions, especially since... well, I listened to the Andor soundtrack while reading & reviewing all these works, so that kinda brought out some emotions, lol.

That's just a long way of saying this was a fun category to judge, so thank you guys for signing up. I know a lot of people thank me for reviews, and I'm grateful for that since the reviews really do take a lot of time, but I do this to expand my horizons and learn more about writing, so thank you all for signing up. One thing I love about Wattpad is how many different genres and writing styles you can get exposure to, and doing these reviews has given me a lot to learn and think about.

Anyway, results are written and just need to be edited, so they'll be out likely by tomorrow or the next day at the latest.
