Throttle's pov:

"About that how I treated your bro, Vinnie.." She said while turning her head away from me, to look at the ground again. "Oh that.. It's just.. I.." I gulped and rubbed the back of my neck awkwardly. "It's just that I wanted to see how you would react.. I happen to have my weak point on strong females.." I thought to myself but didn't say it out loud while looking at the short haired woman.

"Just spit it out! It's okay if you hate me!! I just can't stand a man who doesn't have their spine in its rightful place!" She turned back to me and hissed while looking straight into my eyes. I looked back at hers while she was shouting at me. For a moment I swore I saw Carbine standing right in front of me and yelling about something I had done wrong in her opinion.

But then happened something that even I didn't expect.. I lifted my hand from my back of the neck to the back of her neck and pulled her against me before I pressed my lips against hers making her eyes totally widened. I was as surprised as she was, maybe even more since then I saw that I was kissing the Avatar instead of my very own General Carbine. "What are you doing?!" My mind was literally yelling at me, but then I heard a voice I didn't want to hear in a moment like this.

"Oh that's why you had an urgent need to come here.." Vinnie grinned, making us separate fast from each other while blushing. I took a step back from her while she took a few more. Then I turned around to see my younger bro leaning against the doorway, arms crossed, a leg over the other and his tail swinging as a sign of curiosity.

"Vincent.. What are you doing here?" I asked while turning to look at the Avatar who had lifted her other hand on her mouth while looking at the ground. I couldn't see her expression which made me feel like I had hurt her. I felt my ears dropping down while regretting what I had just done. I had just met her, I barely even knew her and I have a female already!!

"Nothing much.. But I'm glad I came.." Vinnie smirked before walking towards us. "I see you two were quite busy.." He winked but then I saw the Avatar dashing past him towards the doorway he had just come. "No we were not!!" She shouted before turning to her giant wolf. "Lightning, my boy.. Stay here!" She said gently while petting the animal's nose. After that she clearly ran to the door and slammed it close, making two of us almost fall on the ground while the wolf just yawned before continuing his sleep.

I sighed deeply after seeing her leaving. "Seems like I screwed.." I said while rubbing the back of my neck again. "So.. You have a thing with her?" Vinnie said while walking past me to climb to lay on his hammock. "No I don't!" I hurried to say but heard him chuckling while he took a better position. "And the cows are flying!" He said and lifted his head up to see me better.

"I don't know.." I corrected and I knew that was right at least about that. I knew nothing about what came to her or my feelings for anything.. "How about Carbine?" Vinnie asked while turning to look at the roof while leaning on the hammock, his arms behind his head like usual. "I don't know.." I sighed deeply while walking to sit on my bed that was the lower one of the bunk bed. Modo usually slept on the top of it.

"You don't know?" He said before turning to look at me again. "I know I love her.. But.." I started, making him lift his other eyebrow as a sign of confusion. "But? What's wrong then? If you love her and she loves you.. What causes you to kiss other women? I know you are a loyal male, bro.. That's not something you would usually do to a female.." He said making me turn to look at the ground.

"I would have never imagined doing that.. I thought Carbine was the one for me.. But.." I sighed before continuing. "We had everything alright before I left to the Earth.. We talked about having children after the war would be over, but then she brought up that she doesn't want any.. At least not yet but I saw through her.." I explained and even thinking about her hurt me so much. I definitely missed her, but our relationship has been a huge mess for a while and I haven't talked with her too often after leaving. And usually when we have had a chance to talk, it has been only about our mission stuff, nothing personal..

"So.. Kissing a woman would help that thing, how exactly?" I heard Modo saying making me lift my head up and turn to look at him. I saw Vinnie doing the same thing too when Modo walked in the hideout. "Is Charley with you?" Vinnie asked making him shake his head. "She got a customer, that's why I came here too.. And also to apologize to you Throttle.. I shouldn't have said anything to those new women.. We barely even know them yet!" Modo sighed while walking to us. He passed the sleeping wolf carefully when he saw his nose twitching as a sign he smelled the gray furred male being there.

"That's okay.. I'm not mad at you Modo.. I never could be.." I smiled making him smile. "Bros?" He said and lifted his mechanic hand towards me. I grabbed it but got pulled up into a hug. "Yeah, bros.." I laughed when Vinnie joined the group hug. "We always got each other's backs.. We are here to help you Throttle, right Vinnie?" Modo said, making Vinnie nod and me smile at them.

"Thanks guys.. What could I do without you?" I smiled at them. "Nothing, or maybe something but you would mess that up anyway!" Vinnie smirked making each of us laugh while I punched his arm before we ended up having another wrestling on the ground. My thoughts were still just a mess about everything, but it got interrupted by a loud bark when Vinnie accidentally kicked Lightning's nose, waking up the wolf who started growling at us before changing his position and getting back to sleep.

"Sorry bro!" Vinnie said while I turned to look at the wolf suspiciously. "Why did that thing get used to us so fast?" Modo asked the thing I was thinking too. "I have no idea.." I said while Vinnie turned around back to us after managing to pet the animal. "You know you don't know much today, do you?" He smirked making me roll my eyes at him. But he was right about that.. Even if I was a wise leader, now I am completely clueless..

Avatar Rise's pov:

"Vincent.. What are you doing here?" I heard Throttle asking while I turned to look at the ground while lifting my other hand on my mouth. I tried to hide my blush from him while being very confused about what had just happened. He had just kissed me and we barely even knew each other! We had just met during the day!

"Nothing much.. But I'm glad I came.." Vinnie smirked before walking towards us, I saw it in the corner of my eye while trying to avoid him either. But I knew he saw me blushing since I was more towards him than Throttle. "I see you two were quite busy.." He winked just before I decided to leave them alone. I just didn't want to hear him joking about this at all!

"No we were not!!" I shouted before turning to Lightning on my way to run to the doorway where the white male had just walked from. "Lightning, my boy.. Stay here!" I said gently while petting my animal guide's nose. After that I ran to the door and slammed it close too powerfully that I had even meant. I headed straight away out from the scoreboard and from Quigley Field as fast as I could. I needed to see my friends right now even if I wasn't sure I would tell them about what had just happened. Maybe not..

"Rise?! I thought we would meet in a couple of hours? I just said to Mania that you would probably be napping while we are getting Mania her new weapons.." Paris said when they saw me crossing the street after checking it was safe. "What's up? Why do you look like a meteor has hit you?" Mania asked making me almost snap right away.

"No! There's no meteors.. Nothing! Nothing is wrong!" I panicked but I knew they saw through me since they knew me too well, at least Paris did since she felt like a sister to me. "Alright.. Spit it out.. Something clearly happened.. Did Lightning eat someone?" She said while we continued walking along the sidewalk. "Throttle kissed me.." I just blurted out making them stop walking right away, eyes widen bigger than the Mice's ears were.

"What?!" Paris gasped while Mania was just grinning. "I knew that would happen.." She chuckled making me roll my eyes. "Thanks.. It would have been nice if you told me beforehand because I didn't know it would happen.." I growled while stuffing my hands in my pockets and continuing walking. But then I felt Paris pulling my arm, trying to stop me from walking.

"You don't know what bacteria those aliens carry! Are you alright?! Do you feel any sickness?!" She panicked and then pulled her phone out of her bag. "We need to inform the Chief about this! Maybe the Elder knows what to do!" She fussed while Mania started laughing. "Paris!!" I raised my voice while grabbing the phone from her hands. "Hey!" She said and tried to take it back but instead of her, I handed it to Mania.

"You'll deal with this now.. Chief doesn't need to know! I got kissed, not sick!" I was frustrated. Even if Paris meant good, sometimes she just got my nerves pretty tight. "And don't call them aliens.. That's rude.. You should be the one that behaves better.." I said while continuing walking again. I saw Mania putting the phone inside her bag while following me. Then I saw her carrying a sheath on her waist.

"Did you get the weapon?" I asked while turning around. "Just the first one, a sword!" She said and pulled it out from there. "That's cool! What else were you planning to get? This makes you go close to the enemy.. Not always a good thing" I said but then saw Paris tapping her other feet to the ground. "Don't change the subject!" She hissed making me glare at her.

"Maybe a bow or something like that.. I don't know yet but this is a good start! Maybe I could ask some advice for the mice about what would be good against the Plutarkians" She said but then realized what she had just said. "Sorry.. What are you going to do with Throttle?" She asked making me roll my eyes.

"I barely even know him.. Just met today.. Not my fault if he kisses everyone he has just met.." I said while continuing walking again. "That's an attitude! Good Rise!" She said and patted me on my back, making me smile. "Was he even a good kisser?" I heard Paris asking while running next to me. When I thought about the kiss again, I blushed which clearly didn't go unnoticed. "He is?!" She giggled while Mania whistled.

"Well.. I wouldn't say he was bad either.." I smiled while thinking about what had happened. "Did you kiss him back? How do you feel about him?" Mania asked making me shake my head. "I didn't.. Vinnie came there and I panicked.. But for real.. I don't even know him!" I said but she just grinned wider. "But he's got your interest?" She asked making me roll my eyes and smile. "I knew it!!" She laughed but then Paris talked. "Didn't he have a girlfriend already? That Carbine, Modo and Charley mentioned but got awkward right after it.." She said making me feel a bit hurt. How could he kiss me if he is taken already?!

"Right.. That.. But maybe she isn't as good as the Avatar" Mania laughed making me glare at her. "Not funny.. I don't want a guy that's taken and hurting her female all the way across the other side of the galaxy.." I said when we turned to the left and found ourselves at the park. We hadn't actually talked where we were even going but our legs seemed to bring us here while talking. "That's right.. The World is full of jerks! And it seems like it's not only an Earth thing" Paris said making each of us start laughing.

"Paris you might be right.. But by the way, do you happen to have the scrolls with you? I didn't pack them with me when we left the North.." I said while rubbing the back of my neck, but when I remembered feeling Throttle's hand there, I blushed again for the memory. "You didn't?! What kind of Avatar are you?! You don't even have any teachers and as a cherry on top of the cake you forgot your only teaching material home!" Paris said before she smirked and started to go through her bag. "I wished you would-" I was about to say before I was her doing that.

"Of course I have them with me! Seriously, you would be screwed without me.." She said and handed me some very old, or actually ancient, scrolls. "You almost caused me a heart attack!" I laughed while opening one of them. "Like Throttle managed to give you?" Mania smirked making me slap her with the scroll. "Rise!! Those are thousands of years old scrolls! Maybe even older.. Don't use them to hit your friend!" Paris panicked if they got damaged but I just laughed.

"They would only get wet if they faced that woman's scissors when she drools after those males!" I laughed making Paris blush when she got it too. Mania agreed and laughed too while putting her bag under a tree. "There aren't many people around, I think we should start training here now.." She said making me nod. "Bad guys seem to be mostly nightly creatures, so yes.. It would be okay" Paris said while lifting her bag next to Mania's.

"Did you read comics behind the guards' backs or where did you get that from?" I laughed while placing one opened scroll on a rock while rolling the others closed and handing them to her to put them back in her bag. "I don't answer that" She said making us laugh again. After that I prepared my position while looking at the scrolls.

"Airbending? But you can't do it yet?" Mania asked while she started to practice with her sword. "That's why I'm practicing! I'm still messing with the footsteps, so it's time to get back to basics.." I sighed while walking around, trying to walk as lightly weighted as possible while having my arms up near my chest. "You? Getting back to basics? I'm seriously considering getting you to the doctor or at least ask the Chief and the Eldest.. That kiss made you too wise.. Who are you and what did you do to our maniac blabbermouth action Rise?!" Paris said dramatically, making me mess up with the footsteps because I started laughing so badly.

"Stop it!!" I laughed but then I saw Mania swinging her arms with the sword. "Be the leaaaaaf!!!" She fooled around making me lift a rock up from the ground with Earthbending and throw it at her, but her fast reactions surprised all three of us. She managed to be as fast that she cut the rock half. "Wohow!! Prepare Plutarkians! A new sushi master is here!!" She cheered and acted like she was the strongest guy around the place, making us laugh even more while I rolled my eyes again. After that I continued practicing the Air nomad's Airbenders basics from one of those scrolls that was a even a miracle to have.. All three of us knew that those needed to be protected more than our lives. If something happened to them, I didn't even knew would there be a chance for me to learn the other elements and be the Avatar completely!

And at the same time my thoughts wandered to that tan furred male mouse. What was he up to? Why had he kissed me? We literally had just met..
