Hospitalized With Hiro (Hiro x Reader)
"Come on, (Y/N)!" Hiro called. He bounced up and down, nearly spilling the hot chocolate.
"Calm, down, Hiro." You put on your skis and waddled out of the lodge behind him. Outside, the snowy hill glistened under the pale sunlight. A few people were skiing and snowboarding, since it was still early. You thought of Honey Lemon, GoGo, Wasabi, Fred, and Tadashi sleeping back at the cabin.
"I still think we should bring someone else," you said, eyeing the steep hills. You've never been to this skiing resort before, and the hills were very unfamiliar.
"Can't handle being alone with a boy?" Hiro rolled his eyes. "We'll be fine."
You gave him a shove. "Why don't you go and prove it then?"
Hiro grinned and dragged you over to the lift. "Don't be so afraid," he said. "I'll be here to help."
You nodded nervously as you both got off the lift. "This is this easiest hill, (Y/N), you can do it," Hiro said, giving you a one-arm hug.
After several hours, you finally warmed up to the courses. Hiro took your mittened hand in his. "Want to try this one?" he pointed to a course. You (E/C) eyes glanced at the sign next to it. "It's closed off, Hiro. There's lots of rocks and trees that need to be cleared."
"Oh, come on, it'll be easy," Hiro pleaded. "You're fast- you can dodge them in no time!"
"Can't we get lunch first?" you tried, stalling. "Seriously, it's not safe, Hiro."
"Fine, I'll go, if you're so afraid," Hiro said, annoyed. He planted his ski pole into the snow.
"I can't let you go alone!"
"Then come with me."
You eyed the scraggly trees and rocks that littered the slope. Taking a deep breath, you said, "Okay."
The both of you scrambled up the hill. When you were almost to the top, a ski instructor noticed the both of you. "Hey, stop!" he called.
You were about to stop and turn back, but Hiro gave you a look. You shook your head and kept climbing.
When you reached the top, you saw instructors climbing into a motorized sled. "They're coming to get us," you murmured.
"Then let's hurry!" Hiro said excitedly. "Want me to go first?"
You couldn't bear the thought of Hiro being hurt. "No, I'll go," you said.
"Yeah, (Y/N)! You can do it!" Hiro said enthusiastically.
Swallowing, you pushed off and began zooming down the slope. You dodged a rock and swerved sharply to avoid a tree.
Your heartbeat quickened and your breath caught in your throat. Swerve, swerve, dodge, left right left right! It wasn't long until a tree loomed in front of you. You turned, but it was too late. The tree shook as you slammed into it and blacked out.

A faint buzzing woke you up, and you felt a dull pain in your ankle. Suddenly, you heard voices coming closer. You heard the sound of a door opening, then you recognized Tadashi's voice. "Seriously, Hiro, she could have gotten seriously hurt! What were you thinking, bonehead?"
"I thought it would be okay." Hiro's voice was meek and scared.
"I can't believe you. Wait until we go home and Cass hears about this!" Tadashi said angrily. You opened your eye just a little to see a nurse walking in. "Mr. Hamada, I have some forms for you to fill out," she said.
Tadashi shot one more murderous look at his brother, then followed the nurse out of the room.
I'm in the hospital, you realized. And I broke my ankle?
You heard Hiro come over to the side of your bed. "I'm sorry, (Y/N)," he said quietly. His voice was strained, as if he was about to burst into tears. "This was all my fault." He put his forearms on the bed and buried his head into them.
Your heart shattered. Reached out with a sore arm, you brushed his hair with your hand. He looked up, surprised. "It's okay," you whispered.
His eyes glistened.
"There's no reason to worry," you said. "I just broke my ankle or something."
"But you could have died because of me." Hiro's lip trembled.
"Why are you worrying so much? I'll be fine."
"I just can't. . . help feeling guilty." Hiro attempted you hug you sideways. "I don't want anything to happen to you."
"Huh?" You were bewildered.
"I love you, okay?" Hiro said. "And now you hurt yourself because of me."
"You. . . " your voice trailed off.
Hiro kissed your forehead, and sat up again as the door opened. It was Tadashi. "Hey, you woke up," Tadashi said. You nodded stiffly.
"I hope you learned your lesson," he said sternly, his gaze flicking back and forth between you and Hiro.
"Don't worry, we did," Hiro replied, glancing at you and grinning.

Requests are open!
And I have never skied before. So I might have gotten some words and stuff wrong.
